Backflush error on selection of available stock Batch

Hi,
I got an error in backflush while performing MFBF. I have a material component which is received by two different vendors A and B. I am managing the batch name as vendor code so my batch name is A and B. When I performed MFBF the component to be consumed always takes the Batch A and during MFBF Batch A stock is not available so it went into error without backflush. Batch B stock was available but system did not picked it up and Batch B stock was actually consumed in production.
What settings are missing. Please help.

Dear Nilesh,
I'm not sure, but Check in OSP2 in the control data 2,for the Batch search procedure setting for the respective REM profile.
Search procedure for batch determination
The search procedure determines the sequence of the strategy types for which the system tries to determine strategy records
within the framework of batch determination.
Use
The specification of the search procedure in the assembly repetitive manufacturing profile is a prerequisite for carrying out
batch determination for the components.
Check and revert

  • Error while selecting Multiple batchs in Delivery

    Dear All,
I am facing a problem while selecting multiple batches for single item while creating delivery. It gives me Error "Item Category not defined for Batches".
But if i select one batch per delivery it works fine.
    Pls guide me.
    Thanks in advance.

    Shailendra,
    1. Even though you do Batch Management Configuration in Logistic General. Item Category that is used should be activated for Batch Split.
    a. In That case IMG --> Logistics Execution --> Shipping --> Deliveries --> Define Item Categories for delivery, Choose the item category you have defined for the process and activate the following indicators
    Relevant for picking,
    St location Required
    Determine storage location and
    Auto Batch Determination Indicator
    b. --> Logistics Execution --> Shipping --> Deliveries --> Define Item Category determination in deliveries
Maintain it accordingly Delivery type(ZLF) + Item category(NORM) + Usage(CHSP - Batch split)  + Item Category + item Category (ZTAN)
Maintain Copy controls for Delivery to billing accordingly throuh the Tcode  VTFL

  • Automatic BOM Selection as per Stock availability

    Hi...
I have a query.....How can i set an Automatic BOM selection as per stock availability
Problem is that the client is having more than 1 type of raw material which can be used, so the user needs to consume the ROH as per the stock availability, in that case he has to manualy check and amend the Production Order accordingly.
Hence, i want to set a system wherein the system would do the checking of the ROH material and then select that material and execute the production order accordinly.
    Requesting your valuable inputs.
    Thanks in advance,
    Harris

    Harris,
Please explore the possibility of defining "Alternative Item Group", in the BOM Item level details(Basic data tab).
From Application help for your referance,
    Alternative item: group
Consolidation of alternative items within a BOM. Every material in the assembly can be included in the alternative item group.
    Use
As soon as you enter an alternative item group, you see an additional dialog box with the following data: ranking order, strategy, usage probability.
You can maintain alternative items in the following situations:
Alternative positions with specific usage probability
These alternative items are incorporated with a specific usage probability. Enter the usage probability for each alternative item in the group, so that:
dependent requirements are determined in requirements planning
dependent requirements are changed to a reservation in the production order
    Alternative positions as information
You can enter an alternative item for information purposes. This item would then, for example, only be taken into account in situations involving missing parts.
As there should be neither dependent requirements nor a reservation for this item, enter no usage probability.
    Procedure
Enter the same character string to denote the alternative items of an alternative item group.
Enter the same strategy for all alternative items in the alternative item group.
    Dependencies
Alternative items are valuated in the following way:
    Dependent requirements determination
Requirements planning determines the dependent requirements according to the usage probabilities that have been entered.
If the usage probability is 0%, then no procurement is planned for the item. For information purposes, however, dependent requirements with 0 as quantity are created.
    Withdrawal posting
You can control the withdrawal posting for the resevation in the production order in the following way:
Withdrawal according to usage probability (manual change is possible)
Withdrawal if there is 100% availability
    (Check ranking order and strategy)
Example: See Strategy for alternative position

  • QI stock batch assignment in Process order component

I have stock of raw material in MMBE against different batch and stock type. Suppose I have 3 batches - B1, B2, B3 for raw material R1.
Now in MMBE R1 RM has stock in unrestricted stock batch B1, B2 and QI stock B3.
If I am creating a process order for FG with RM R1, then in component overview screen in COR1 / COR2 T-code I am able to add manually batch No. B3 against R1 RM. If I am saving as well the batch No. B3 from QI is also saved along with process order.
However, we have restrcited issue of stock from QI stock. But, is ther any way that during Process order saving system will show error message if any batch is determined manually in component overview from QI stock.
Any exit or, standard Config is there to restrcit it?
    Please suggest

    Hi Susanta Roy,
System will pops up the message of material shortage for the batch no. B3 which you have manually selected from QI stock, try this once you maintain the manual entry of batch no. B3 in the cor1 0r cor2, just click on the 'Material Availability check' Tab on the same screen system will pops the message pf material shortage.
Also maintain the tick mark to Check material availability when saving order (network) in OPJK for your plant and order type for the both Availability check.
    Please check and revert.
    Thanks

  • Background Job in COGI(REM Backflush error handling)

    Hi Everyone.
    I have one question.
Our company use REM Backflush .
And Our REM profile setting is next.
    - Use GI Backflush at GR posting
    - Don't use report point backflush
    - Create cumulated and individual postprocessing record
In this circumstance, we use T-code COGI to process backflush error.
When I execute the COGI in online, There is no problem
<b>But, After I make a job for background in sm37, When I execute background gob for COGI, There is a problem. In real, Background gob is will executed. But COGI errors remain as before.</b>

    Hi,
    Actually you should use
    Transaction          MF47
Program              RMSERI11, for post process record.
For post processing , manually entry like storage location and Batch number(if batch management is enabled) is required , if the post process record is created according to this error.
And hence it is not possible to correct all the records by background job.
    Thanks

  • WM - TR & Open quantity reduced by available stock

    Dear All,
    The problem is:
PrdOrds were released, TRs were generated and partially delivered (processed). After that inventory (stock counting) took place.
Having finished the inventory we wanted to process the partially delivered TRs (LB10 > 'TO in foregr.') but SAP set the 'selected qty' in LT04 to 0 and gave the message: "Open quantity reduced by available stock" .
We use dynamic bins, and all TOs have been confirmed. I've checked (in LT22) and I've found that the necessary quantities haven't been fully supplied for the dynamic bins of PrdOrds.
Why SAP considers the quantities fully supplied? What is the reason? (During the inventory no differences were booked for the related materials) Shouldn't we create inventory doc. for dynamic bins?
    Thanks,
    Csaba

    Hi Jürgen,
    Thanks for your reply.
This is the short history of this issue:
    1.
total TR quantity was 30 pcs (originally)
    2.
partially delivery, TO qty 16 pcs (TR reference)
    3.
inventory - no inventory difference for that dynamic bin, qty was 16 pcs both before & after inventory
    4.
problem detected - /WH couldn't process the TR as I said that's why they manually created a TO to post the goods to the dynamic bin/
    5.
partial delivery, TO qty 14 pcs (w/o TR reference)
(after point '4' we tried to process the TR in foreground as I said > problem discussed above. After that I processed it in background > result: TR quantity 30, open qty in TR 0, number of TO items 1 - no TO was generated)
    Thanks,
    Csaba

Go to Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs->Click on
    Add/Remove Wndows Components
    Check IIS check box.
Select Internet Information Service (IIS) option and click on Details button
Check whether SMTP Service is checked or not.
If not selected then select SMTP check box.

There is no IIS in my Windows Components..
    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

It sounds like you don't have an SMTP server running on your local machine.
Even if you install IIS (or some other SMTP server), that is probably not enough to send email outside of your machine because your machine is unlikely to be trusted by the downstream mail servers. If you are running this in a company, you'll need to talk to your company's mail admin to determine where the corporate SMTP server is running. If you running this at home, you'll need to find out from your ISP what SMTP servers are available to you.

  • Backflushing error screen in MFHU

    Hello Experts,
we use transaction MFHU for backflushing of repetitive manufacturing with handling units.
Do you know if backflush errors screen can be displayed like in transaction MFBF ?
There is a backflush error screen in MFBF and display materials without stock.
The items are recorded for further processing in COGI.
Unfortunatelly MFHU doesn't display this screen. it will be helpfull for us.
Thank you in advance for your hints.

  • Business Rule error: Accounts are not available in the rule table

    Hi everybody,
I have a problem running the Business Rule for the profit/loss copy to the equity account.
The Business Rule I set reads from all P&L accounts, P&L specific flow, acual category, all datasources and then it writes everything keeping the source settings apart from the account destination (the equity profit/loss account) and the flow destination (I write in two different flows, so the rule is made up of two equal lines differing only in the flow destination). "PROFIT" is the ID I chose.
Then I created the related script logic (ID=CALCACCOUNT):
    *RUN_PROGRAM CALC_ACCOUNT
    CATEGORY_M = %CATEGORY_M_SET%
    CURRENCYLABEL = %CURRENCYLABEL_SET%
    TID_RA = %TIME_SET%
    CALC=PROFIT
    *ENDRUN_PROGRAM
Finally, the prompt ( process chain: CPMB/RUNCALCACCOUNT):
    PROMPT(SELECTINPUT,,,,"CATEGORY_M,CURRENCYLABEL,TIME")
    TASK(/CPMB/RUNCALCACCOUNT_LOGIC,SUSER,%USER%)
    TASK(/CPMB/RUNCALCACCOUNT_LOGIC,SAPPSET,%APPSET%)
    TASK(/CPMB/RUNCALCACCOUNT_LOGIC,SAPP,%APP%)
    TASK(/CPMB/RUNCALCACCOUNT_LOGIC,SELECTION,%SELECTION%)
    TASK(/CPMB/RUNCALCACCOUNT_LOGIC,LOGICFILENAME,CALCACCOUNT.LGF)
But anytime I run the package it fails giving me the message error: "Accounts are not available in the rule table".
I tried every possible change but nothing; if someone could help me somehow I'd be really grateful!!
    Thanks
    Filippo

    Hi James,
Thanks for your quick response. There is no currency dimension in the application... I've tested with the correct businessrule as CALC value, but this didn't do the trick.
    Any other suggestions?

  • Available stock shortfall of & in Interim storage bin message in BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE

    Hello Abapers,

Searching on the forum you can find threads about WM/PP interface settings.
(Re: WM Staging - Supply area to Production prder)
Whether WM/PP interface is active it depends on your config and master data as well.
    You should check:
    - config: SPRO > LE > WM > Interfaces > Define Production
    - master data: routing (proper work center is assigned), work center (proper production supply area), material master(FG) (production scheduling profile), control cycle (components)
In standard system storage type 100 is defined as an interim storage type (you can compare it to storage type 902, 914, 916, etc). In control cycles (WM master data; LPK1/LPK2/LPK3) you define for each components which is the production storage type.
In standard system storage type 914 is not used with material staging. 914 s.t. related scenario: GI (261) --> stock removel from normal storage type to interim storage type (914).
    100 s.t. related scenario: stock removal from normal s.t. to interim s.t. 100 --> GI (261).

  • Error while adjusting the Consignment Stocks

    Dear Forum,
We have come accross an error while adjusting the Consignment Stocks. The error is "Field selection for movement type 701/acctt xxxxxx differs from Customer goods movement (015)". What do we need to check the resove this error and what additional maintenance is required to be done.
Would appreciate the help for resolving this.
    Regards

    Hi Raj,
For those transactions that are processed through MB1A, MB1B, and MB1C a check is made on both tables T004F (FI) and T156B (MM).
These tables define what data is 'mandatory', 'optional', or 'display only' when the transaction is processed.
There are certain fields (like the one you have met, the "Customer goods movement") that are contained on both tables.
For these kind of fields that are in both tables, the field selection must be the same: Since the data is processed through a single dynpro,  the system must have only one instruction for a data field. This is why the message M7093 is being generated when, for example, optional is specified for MM and required is specified for the General ledger.
Use report RM07CUFA to change the appropriate field setting. Compare the tables above to see which field may be set to required vs optional for the movement type/ account and change it accordingly.
The SAP Note 9281 gives a more detailed explanation of this.
I hope this information helps you.
    Esther.

  • Available stock information in detail

I have the following suggestion to improve the logistic part of SAP BO 200X.
When an article is on stock and there are purchase- or production orders, the salesorder only checks the TOTAL availability of the article.
Example. On stock Qty 100, the ordered Qty 200.Available stock is Qty 300.
A customer order is Qty 300 and will be accepted because the available stock is Qty 300, but if the customer wants to know when these goods will be delivered there is no direct answer possible, unless the production or delivery date is known.
(To find this information you need to do some exploring in divers other programs!)
This is nessessary for the planning of the delivery date of this sales order, but also for the customer to inform him correctly.
    Proposed solution:
-Make a button in the (marketing document) order line to display the detailed purchase- or productionorder.
-Change the current calculation of the available stock and give more detailed information.
Detail information should be at least: DocEntry; Qty ;Production or Delivery date.
    Kind regards.

    Hi,
We have a small add-on for this functionality. The basic overview of the add-on is:
It has a button/context Menu on the Sales Order Entry screen where user can select the Item in the detail grid and click the button / context menu this should populate the screen display the list of Open PO’s with DocEntry / Open QTY along with delivery date.
This displays the details but there could be Committed Value that would need to be considered say for example…
    In Stock is – 100
    Committed is – 200
    Ordered is - 300
    Actual is - 200
So Committed value has consumed the 100 Qty’s from In Stock and 100 QTY’s from Ordered. Say we have 3 Purchase / Production order each of QTY 100, so one needs to inform user that he can only use 2 purchase orders while committing the customers. For this we have one more column to the list that will show the QTY committed against the sales order if the committed value is greater than In Stock Value.
Doc Entry     |       Delivery Date  |   Open QTY      |      Committed
    1001             |          01/10/2007     |        100        |             100
    1002              |         01/15/2007     |        100        |             000
    1003               |        01/20/2007     |        100        |             000
Is this something similar to what you are looking for if yes then contact us off the forum for detailed specification of the product and pricing.
If not, we would appreciate your points to enhance this add-on further as we are planning to further extend it. We had done similar small product on the item Master data screen that displayed the details for the committed column. What we had done was, we placed a button on the screen and on clicking the button it would display the list of sales orders (Order Number / Customer/ Delivary date / Whse / QTY / Price) that had this item ordered from the selected warehouse (row in the Grid).
    Cheers,

    Dear Forum,
I am trying to install Solaris 10 x86 OS into my SFX4200 server through Remote Control feature. I had setup the bios to 1st boot from CDROM and 2nd boot from Disk.
So, i inserted Solaris 10 x86 media into my laptop. Then i connected my laptop directly to the ILOM using cross cable. From the ILOM web page i had launch the Remote Control. I powered on the SFX4200 and i can see the boot up process through the Remote Control window. The boot up process has successfully read my laptop Solaris 10 x86 media.
At the end of the boot up process i saw three(3) option for me to choose:
    1. Solaris
    2. Solaris ttya
    3. Solaris ttya( SFV60x and SFV65x )
I had selected, option #1 and #2 but few seconds later, i saw this error message "Error 28: selected item cannot fit into memory"
