BAPI CHECK/Test Run for BAPI_ACC_ACT_POSTINGS_REVERSE

Dear experts,
For some FICO BAPI, there is another separate check BAPI for test run. For example:
- BAPI_ACC_ACTIVITY_ALLOC_POST & BAPI_ACC_ACTIVITY_ALLOC_CHECK
- BAPI_ACC_MANUAL_ALLOC_POST & BAPI_ACC_MANUAL_ALLOC_CHECK
The POST & CHECK BAPIs both take the same input parameter only that the CHECK BAPI does not return any document number.
I've been trying to find the CHECK BAPI version for BAPI_ACC_ACT_POSTINGS_REVERSE and I couldn't find one.
I want to confirm here: Is there such a CHECK BAPI for BAPI_ACC_ACT_POSTINGS_REVERSE?

Hello
For cancel document you may use FM BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE instead of BAPI_GOODSMVT_CANCEL.
In BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE you must pass GM_Code = '06' for reversal of goods movements and run in test mode.
Read documentation for this FM.

I developed an eCATT as following :
SAPGUI ( SAPGUI_1 , Target_system_1 ).
SAPGUI ( SAPGUI_2 , Target_system_2 ).
My question is how to run the eCATT in a synchronous RFC calls
PS: I do not want to change the Target_system to the same one in the
above script of ecatt.Because I need to run it in 2 different Target
systems sometime.
for example, I give a Target_system_3 when run this eCATT
I want the SAPGUI_1 and SAPGUI_2 run the Target_system_3 but not the
Target_system_1 or Target_system_2 .
Could you please tell me how to make it without the changes in script?

This is the standard option value. Asynchronous are not the standard way and used only for very special purposes.

The commands will be executed in sequence. So each call will be synchronously replayed against TS1 and TS2.
What is you issue with this standard procedure?

Test run for IW31

Hi Experts,
We are using BDC file for creating work orders in IW31.While creating orders,if we face any error in between the process, system will not allow further processing.but order will be generated for the remaining equipments.Can we provide any test run option in IW31 so that we can find out the error before generating work order.
If no errors are there in process,then we need to upload the data.
Can any one provide me some valuable inputs?

As mentioned and suggested your technical team can achieve this, You can ask your technical team to work in below steps as
1. All the pre-checks need to performed .
2. After the pre-checks a log is produced with complete results.
3. If at any stage an Abort type error is encountered the log is updated as such but the checks are continued.
4. After output of the log the load is aborted (prevented) by the system.
5. If no Abort level error is encountered the user is still given the opportunity to manually abort after evaluation of the load-log.
NOTE: In each case write the result as welwell as the state to the log.
Once The successful Logs identified, User can go for actual run.
Hope this will guide your technical team to meet your requirement.

IMac Harware Test runs for hours, repairpermission too

My iMac G5 started having failures last year already. So I first ran Disk Warrior and everything turned out well for a while. But now, the system started showing the endless rotating whell when booting, and I could not do an Archive and Install. So I diagnosed a HD failure and bought a new HD.
I reinstalled everything via Carbon Copy Cloner and did and Archive and Install. But obviously the permissions were wrong and Disk Util took ages trying to repait them. So I decided to boot in Single User Mode and tried to run Applejack wich also seemed to step on the spot after finding some "bad Alloc[157]...etc". So I threw in Apple Hardwae Test and ran a full checkup and as it turns out, it gets stuck when checking the RAM, so I stopped it after 1 hour.
Does anybody have a clue of what might be wrong? How shall I determine what is rong when Hardware Test stops in the middle? Is it the RAM? How should I find out?

Yes, repairs and trouble-shooting need to be done systematically. And, it needs to be done with tools appropriate to the task.
Using one tool to do this, and then another tool to fix the first tools mistakes, and then jumping to another one just doesn't work well.

Yes, that will be the way to go.
You should consider that while you are at work, the system will be sitting there completed. So, if your fans run full speed while in the diagnostic test (I cannot remember for sure if they did or not on my system), then they will continue to do so until you come back.
I don't know if I'd leave the computer there for 8 hours with fans at full speed and the screen unmoving on maximum brightness. That just doesn't sound ideal to me.
I think perhaps I'd demonstrate exactly what you want done to your wife (or someone else if someone else is home), and request them to do that for you to get the machine up and running for you about 2 and a half hours before you get home.

How to make a bapi as test run if there is no testrun parameter?

Hi,
I am using BAPI fm 'BAPI_BCA_INDCOND_CHANGE' to update the financial conditions of a loan in banking. This fm doesn't have testrun parameter.
I am trying to make it testrun (simulation) but not suceeded. I stopped teh execution of the BAPI_COMMIT but it is creating some other issues.
Please let me know if ther is anyother way to simulate this.

Hi..
In order to Test the BAPI... first find the actual function module of the BAPI.. BAPI is nothing but API method of the function module only.. so Test the function maodule..check if it is giving desired results.. then BAPI also will work similer..

*URGENT* F.07 shows different balance (test run) as compared to FD10

Hi SAP Gurus,
We have the following issue
FD10N is showing P12 ending balance of KRW 83,898,721.
However, from while doing test run for F.07 (balance carried forward), the balance is showing as KRW 82,886,514.
There is a difference of KRW 1,012,207.
Could you please let us know what could be the reason for this difference?

Postings in the previous year do increase this balance carried forward, but do not carry forward the total of the items already posted in the old year to the new year; the balance carried forward only has the items posted by the new year into the previous year, but not the items posted in the previous year itself.

Can someone test this for me

OK not sure if it is just my phone or a bug or a WAD. But here is the scenario :
1. Turn off iPhone 3g
2. Plug it into the wall adapter that came with the phone, while it is plugged into the wall.
3. Turn it on by hitting the sleep/wake button.
4. Phone appears to boot, then after a time vibrates and sits on Apple logo (repeats).
4a. I let it do this under 2.0 and 2.0.1 same issue
5. Hold down home and sleep/wake to turn it off from failed boot
6. Unplug and press sleep/wake and up it comes just fine
I have tried this a few times and the same thing happens. I don't turn my phone off that often, but if it is a bug, its best someone fix it.
Also, phone charges just fine in off mode and on mode with this charger (the original that came with the phone).
I have not yet tried this while with the computer.

DME format tree - after test run, not displaying file.

After creating DME format tree , I ran Test run for that. At that time for some format trees, it is displaying the file.
But for some of the format trees , while running test run , the file is not displaying.

SAINT Test run

I want to do a test run for an add-on. I have changed the scenario to Test via SPAM. When i go to saint and start the run, its doing the actual run. Am I missing some thing here or do I have to set test scenario for saint differently.
Any help is appreciated. My environment is R/3 Enterprise with oracle 9i

How to check process is running for an application pool on remote server

Hi,
I am creating console application which will check whether WCF is up and running. I am thinking of the approach whether w3wp prcoess is running for a particular application pool using some .net API. We have different website with different application pool.
I know we can use metatdata or any operation inside WCF service to test svcutil or proxy methods but i don't want that. Please help.

I assume your goal is to simply provide a heartbeat to periodically make sure that a service is running? There is no real guarantee that a service will be available until you actually try to call it.
Also please realize that you're going to impact the server's performance by doing this. IIS is set up to idle out apps that aren't being used. If you periodically poll the service then you will prevent IIS from doing this. The result will be
that you'll see a WCF service running even if nobody every uses it. Is this really what you want? Hence if you have a lot of WCF services being checked then the server is wasting resources on services that might not be needed.
IIS doesn't work like a normal application. It hosts your WCF service. You should let IIS handle the lifetime of your service rather than using a heartbeat. It would take a catastrophic failure for IIS to be unable to start a service when
a request comes in. The app pool itself may be running even without the WCF app running. An app pool is a collection of apps so if any app is running then the pool is running. Checking the pool tells you nothing about the apps in it.
You mentioned that you don't want to use IIS metadata or a proxy but that is the only 2 options you have. Personally I would just hit the endpoint with a HttpWebRequest and verify you get a response but the IIS metadata would be a close second.

You may are using PC00_M40_CALC_SIMU for live run payroll. with this t.code we can not update the live payroll. For live payroll run we need to use PC00_M40_CALC in this t.code we can remove check mark for test run. after removng test run check filed, we can the live payroll. That too in simulation mode test run field s display mode not in changeble mode then we cannot remove the test run field in the simulation payroll i.e., PC00_M40_Calc_Simu.
PC00_M99_Calc_Simu - international simulation payroll
PC00_M99_CALC - Internation payroll for live run.
Here. 99 representing the country grouping. Ex: for inda - M40, Singapore- M25.

Problem with Assemble Test VIs for Run-Time Distribution

I get an error that a file is already in memory and that I will have to remove it before I can build the application. The file in question is Get File System Seperator.vi. It lives in vi.lib\Utility\sysinfo.llb. If it is not a stock vi from national and was placed there by some other add on tools (perhaps an OpenG toolkit), how can I disable it? Labview itself will not boot without this sysinfo.llb.
I am using TestStand Engine 2.01 on the XP system and 2.01f1 on win2000 with the same results. I am not using numerical limits so the fix (patch) for multiple numerical limits does not seem to be needed.

In the description of your problem you state that "I will have to remove it before I can build the application". I was wondering if you could elaborate on the scenario you are describing because this is a little bit confusing to me as it is. The "Assemble Test VIs for Run-Time Distribution" tool in the Sequence Editor does not involve "building an application" as part of the process of using it. When you select the menu option for this tool, a TestStand sequence is invoked that has a few LV VI steps in it which perform the VI Assembly process, with no application building involved (just searching through sequences for top-level vis, their sub-vis, and copying them all into a directory you choose). I hope this describes what it is I'm not understanding about your statement, but to explain why it is that I feel this is important is in order to reproduce the problem I need to know exactly what it is you are doing at the time of encountering the problem. To go over a common set of issues people encounter when they use this tool, I would like to see if you have tried the following:
1) Have you checked to make sure that the LabVIEW Standard Prototype Adapter is configured to use the LabVIEW development environment as its Run-Time Server before running the tool. It will not work if the adapter is set to use TestStand LVRTS or TestStandGUILVRTS. The assembly tool requires features of the full LV IDE to perform the functions it carries out, and you will get an error if the adapter is configured improperly. To check this out, go to Configure >> Adapters..., select the LV Adapter in the listbox, then click the Configure button. In the second dialog, change the run-time server option to "LabVIEW".
2) Are you actually trying to build the Assemble Test VIs for Runtime Distribution tool into an application? (This is not an intended use of the tool's VIs).
3) Before running the assembly tool, have you tried using the Sequence Editor's File >> Unload All Modules option?
Let me know if you have tried the above things or if you are doing any of the "unintended" things with the tool so I can get a better grasp of when it is you are seeing the problem. Again, the goal would be for us to reproduce it.
