BAPI create customer with search term 2?

Hi all,
I'm looking for a BAPI/FM, which can create customer master record with 'Search term 2' input field. Pls let me know the BAPI/FM name if you know.

Hello Hung,
SD_CUSTOMER_MAINTAIN_ALL is used in standard during the maintenance of a consumer using the standard customer master data transaction XD01 & XD02.
It is not intended to be used out of the transaction and in no case it should be used out of its original context. Due to the specificity of the function module, out of the original context we may face limitations and data inconsistencies.
For the maintenance of customers, there is NO BAPI and NO direct function module.
There are some functions modules like the one above where the name is looking nice. But these should not be used.
Below ECC 2005 (6.00), the only solution was batch input and DEBMAS idocs. See [note 384462|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/384462]
Starting with ECC 2005 (6.00) and above: a synchronisation tool has been introduce. See class CMD_EI_API and VMD_EI_API

But can't copy the company name,Search term 1/2,Street address.

Dear,
       For Any Two company, There are not possible to same name, same address. That's why system do not get the company name,Search term 1/2,Street address.
       You can enter manually this data at the time of creation of XD01.
       Hope it will help you.

Create Customer with Account group ZO05 to BP

Dear RE Experts,
In my project there are three scenarios related to BP and Customer.
1) Create BP with Account Group Zo05 to Customer (Which is Working)
2) Create Customer With Account Group Zo05 to BP
3) Create only Customer (No BP) With Account Group ZO01,ZO02,ZO03,ZO04,ZO06 and ZO07
I want help from Experts how to create last two scenarios in RE? What configuration is need?
What is Tcode to create only customer?????

Goto SPRO\Cross-applications components\master data synchronization\synchronization control
check whether is it activated from cutomer --> BP
And also check the following setting
Goto SPRO\Cross-applications components\master data synchronization\customer&vendor integration\business partiner settings\settings for customer intration\define BP role for direction customer to BP
might be it will give some solution to your 2nd problam and finall fir 3rd issue you can use XD01 to create customer and don't assign these account groups in "Define BP role for direction customer to BP"

hi i want to create customer through bapi which facilitates to enter customer code(our own defined not the sequentially next no.)
i have gone through F.M BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA1 BUT NOT ABLE TO UNDERSTAND HOW TO INPUT PARAMETER FOR CUSTOMER_CODE.

Create customer with reference to customer master

Hi,
If the user creates customer master (XD01) with reference to another customer master then system should not copy some of the fields. How can I restrict this in SAP. Is there any Copy control functionality for customer master to customer master?

As far as i know in Standard SAP system, when we are copying or even creating a Customer
Master Recording in XD01 with reference to a customer, in case of the basic data i.e. General Data, the
datas that are copied are
1. Country.
Under Company Code data, the following are copied,
1. Reconcilation Account.
Under Sales Area Data the following are copied,
1. Currency.
2. Shipping condition.
3. Account assignment group.
4. Taxes.
Regarding your question, you can change the data and there is no concept of copying control here.

BAPI - create customer

Dear all,
i need to use the BAPI 'BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA1' to create customer record . How and where to define the customer account group??
Or does this function is 'hardcoded' that can only create '0001-sold to party' customer account??
Or is there any other BAPI that can create different customer accounts?

I've looked through the source of 'BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA1' and it seems that it obtains account group from reference customer.

URL to launch iTMS on the iPhone with search terms?

I'm trying to launch App Store on the iPhone (from an email, for example) with a URL that will bring up everything related to a search term. For example, the URL:
http://www.itunes.com/golf
launches iTunes on a laptop/desktop computer showing all the related golf applications, songs, etc., but it doesn't do the same on the iPhone App Store. This URL:
phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSearch.woa/wa/com.apple.jingle.search.DirectAction /search?term=golf
also launches iTunes on a laptop/desktop computer showing all the related golf applications, songs, etc., and on the iPhone, it at least goes to the search page of the App Store, but it doesn't put in the search term.
Any ideas?

Actually, it looks like the URLs are opening up iTunes and NOT the App Store on the iPhone, so I'm looking for a URL that opens up the App Store with the search terms...

BAPI Create Customer Contact

There is no problem to create a debtor with the BAPI: BAPI_CUISTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA1 with parameters COMPANYDATA and COPYREFERENCE filled.
But is there a way to add a contact to the created debtor? Exists BAPIs to create and modify such a contact?

As far as I know there is no BAPI exits whats so ever to change or update the debtor!, However there are some non-Remote functions exits which might can change or update the Debtor.
Few months back I was also trying to change the debtor data but could'nt figure out any BAPI for that purpose!

The way is using multiple BAPI's.
bapi "bapi_customer_createfromdata1" is used to create customer with reference customer number and then send the information to bapi "sd_customer_maintain_all" for changing the the values.
Still having problem passing parameters.
When i am sending partner information(knvp) to "sd_customer_maintain_all", it is giving abap dump assertion_failed.
I tried to debug the program but i couldn't find the error.
values i passed to bapi sd_customer_maintain_all

AR Invoice with payment term with multiple payments

Hi -
I need some help on this.
We create invoices with payment terms that will have more than one payment schedules.
For example, customer can pay $100 in 3 terms such as 33 (immediately), 33 (after 1 month), 34 (after 2 months).
Now, this is all well. My question is, when we take the order, customer gives Credit Card number, we put that on the order and effectively it goes to the transaction screen.
Let's say at the time of second payment (After 1 month), customer credit card is expired, our CC validation will fail (CC validation program) and we will not be able to get the payment.
Now let's say I have new CC # for that customer (received from CC company), how do I update that on the transaction? I know I can do this from the front end but how do I update that using an API?
Also, why receivables (11.5.10) does not have option to have payment method at payment schedule level instead of invoice level?
I mean customer may have different method of paying for the subsequent installments.

I found out the missing GL account that is under Admin> Setup> Financials> GL acct Determination
Now, I need GL account in tab Sales - "Payment Advances". I think this is should be the Liability account instead AR account if I have to choose an account but what will be the offset account? Why I need GL account for AR Down Payment Invoice since no transaction really will be generated? Just to calculate how much will be expected from customer on the first installment and balance due.
When I receive the incoming payment will Dr. Checking or Saving and Cr. AR.

CRM - transaction BP - length of search term 1/2 (adress)

I'm working on CRM, transaction BP. I've 2 roles for customer : person and organisation.
Search term 1/2 is 20 caracters long.
But, it seems to be possible to do customizing on search term. For example, in my environnemnent, customer person may have 20 caracters long search term ; but customer organisation must have less than 10 caracters (there is an error message if I put a more than 10 caracters search term).
Could you tell me how in customizing I can control length of search term ?

I dont think there is any customizing for this change in length. You can instead to achcek of length in dchck event of BDT.

Create Customer at POS and upload to different company code

Client Requirement is like this
Two company codes are here e.g. company code BP01 and BP02
BP01 has one store
BP02 has three store
Now Customer is create at POS Server at any store .
here we can create customer with respect to any one company code
Same customer want to buy goods from both company code and can get rewards points
question
so cutomer has to extend in other company code and has to update to each POS SERVER which located in each store
how to handle this scenarion

Assuming if customer, buys some item from CCode BP02 regularly, then you can create the customer on the POS application (like SAP POS..), and append the POS Customer master (re-use any text field) with information of other company code where the customer wishes to deal with).
The customer master will be passed using inbound idoc, on to the IS Retail Server in the HO.
Now at HO level a the customer can be extended for multiple company code ..in this case BP01 manually or by an automated program, which will monitor the specific field (coming from the new customer master idoc from POS) , if it detects contents, it reads the same and extend the customer as per mentioned ccode.
So next time onwards , using outbound doc , customer master can be updated to all locations for that customer. Similarly the loyality point, can be accumulated based on the purchases made per Ccode.

There are mainly 2 type of buyers:
1. Customers (Wholesale customers) - They are limited in nos. and could buy on credit also. In standard SAP account group 0160 is to be used. In this case customer master is maintained.
2. Retail Buyers - They could be 1000s...for a retail site. You don't maintain customer master for them.
But Customer Master is not created Site Specific in SAP / IS-Retail.
If you want delivery to happen for certain Customers, specific to a store, maintain "Delivering Site" Field in Sales area data - shipping tab the required Store.
Hence whatever be the no. of stores, you need not create so many account groups, but rather create one and use it based on the customer type( wholessale..in this case.)

I have a problem when I create customer with this program RFBIDE00 using LSMW.
I have this error message when I process the batch input on screen Payment transaction :
"No batch input data for screen SAPMF02D 0130".
This structure BKNBK don't contains data
When I run debug, I try to delete the lines who call this screen, add an ok_code (=ENTR) to skip this screen but I have always this message error

hi,
in some scenarios we may face problem using standard lsmw,so the better and simple way is to create a new one and use it.
i dont think it will take much time to create a new one.i had created the same last week, which doesnt take less than an hour provided if u know the fields and how to do recording for tht specific transaction.
