BAPI for entering MM Service Contracts

Hi,
I would like to know which is the best bapi to be used to enter the MM service contracts. I have got two bapis
1) BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATE
2) BAPI_AGREEMENT_MAINTAIN
Which one is the Best bapi and whats the min. required fields to be used to create a consistant MM Service Contracts.

    Is it service provider ?
    If you are looking for Provider Category , Provider Code then pass them to the structure ADDINFO   (BAPITRADDI) ..
    Look at table TA21P for Travel Service Providers

Bapi for creation of a contract against services.

Hi.
i just want to know the correct bapi for creation of contracts against services..here i was tried with BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATE but the documentation says that it is not supported for exxternal or internal services.
so iam not sure if this bapi is the one for contract creation for services.
any way i was tried to test this function module but i havent got Contract created.

Hi Ram,
Try the function module
BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATEFROMDATA.
Once you create the contract, update the technical objects for the contracts
using two function modules called one after another.

How to delete the coverages for an ACTIVE service contract ?

Hi ,
     I have created coverages for few service lines for a service contract in R12. The contract is in ACTIVE status. If it was in ENTERED state, I could use OKS_COVERAGES_PUB.DELETE_COVERAGE to delete the coverages. But this contract is in ACTIVE status.
     Basically I want the lines lse_id=2,3 removed for a particular line (lse_id=1) which were created by using OKS_CONTRACTS_PUB.CREATE_SERVICE_LINE. This contract has a standard coverage and hence there should not be lines with lse_id=2,3 for that particular service line .
     Also, I am not able to delete a coverage for an EXPIRED contract.
     Please let me know if you need more information on this.

Changing Billing Schedule Level for OM originated Service Contracts

Hi,
When we create a Service Contract from Order Management, the Billing Schedule Level is always set to Top Level and only one Billing Stream gets created.
Can we get the Billing Schedule Level changed to other Levels viz., Equal Amount or Covered Level using any setups.
Has anyone did any customization/extension to be able to change the Billing Schedule Level.
The basic requirement is to have multiple billing streams for the contract, created from Order Management.
Gurus, any ideas/suggestions to get this accomodated.

I don't think you are on the right track (in my opinion). You are right that we can only create service contract from the order management (service or Extended Warranty Lines).
If I understood correctly, you sell electronic subscriptions (like my internet service I have at home) and you are looking for way to take it from the order management so that you can bill it from Contracts and not from OM. As this is electronic service, looks like you do not have fulfill any tangible product (like magazines) from contracts. Hence you do not care about the schedule for the contract shipments. Is that correct?
As this is not something Oracle offers (I did not find anyway), you may want to consider extending OM workflow or a batch program to create a subscription contract once the order line is fulfilled (not the program where we create service contract). This way you have flexibility to create the contract the way you want it.
But you can always create a service contract covering a subscription item as covered product. Like I have internet service as subscription but they cover me for any incidental visits of technicians for this subscription charging me some amount every month.

Standard remote enabled bapi for creation of purchaser contract in srm

Plz tell me is there any standard,remote enabled FM/BAPI in SRM system for creation of purchaser contract.
I found BBP_PD_CTR_CREATE. But this is normal FM.
I need BAPI like BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATE which there in ECC system.

One idea is to write a wrapper FM that is remote enabled and internally call BBP_PD_CTR_CREATE for your own use.

Need BAPI for assignment of services to respective activity

Hello Friends,
                      I need to assign services to respective activity through uploading. For this purpose i need BAPI which will update the specific field of uploaded file in standared transaction CJ20N. The field which i need to update are all present in ESLL Transp. Table (Lines of Service Package) and the fields are : short text (KTEXT1) , Quantity (MENGE) , Gross price (TBTWR) , Unit (MEINS) .
Suggest the BAPI which will update this fields.

Simpler would be FM /SAPAPO/DM_MODEL_POST:
CALL FUNCTION '/SAPAPO/DM_MODEL_POST'
    EXPORTING
      iv_vb     = 'I'
    TABLES
      it_matmod = t_matmod.
If you have product location existing in the system, you need to read records from respective APO tables and populate into t_matmod with appropriate model and pass it to this FM.

SELECT SINGLE * FROM T158B WHERE TCODE = <tcode>
AND BWART = <movement type>.
When this is failing the following error message is raised.

Data source creation for service contract configuration

Hello all,
I have to create a data source for extraction of service contract configuration. I think this could work like data source creation for sales order creation, but I don't know waht to enter in transaction CTBW. Anyone here has done this previously? Any pointers and/or the strategy you've used will be useful.

1.Logistics--Materials Management--Purchasing ---Purchase Requisition --Follow-on functions --- Assign and Process
2.ME57
3.Select the Assigned Purchase Requisitions checkbox if you also want to see requisitions already assigned, and choose Execute.
4.On the Assign and Process Purchase Requisitions screen, select the requisition lines for your material.
5.Choose Assign Manually if the info record already exists.
6.On the pop-up Assign Source of Supply Manually dialog box, make the following entries:
Agreement 46XXXXX Agmt item 10
7.Choose Assign Source of Supply.
For assign the source of supply, you can also choose Assign Automatically (only if not already assigned by MRP due to existing source list). If more than one source exists, select the contract in the Source Overview for Purchase Requisition 100XXXXX window and confirm with Enter.
When assigning a source, make sure to select the contract.
8.Choose Save.
9.Select the line item, and then choose Assignments Overview (SHIFT+F5).
10.On the Assign and Process Requisitions: Overview of Assignments screen, select the line below Vendor (you can only select one at a time), then choose Process Assignment.
11.On the Process Assignment: Create PO window, check and make sure the Order Type (NB), Purchasing Group and Purch. Organization fields then choose Continue (Enter) to confirm.
12.On the Create Purchase Order screen, select the requisition in the Document Overview section and choose Adopt in the left part of the Document Overview screen.
13.Choose Save.

Problem in adding vales to service contract line item

I want the OBJECT ID field to be filled in OBJECT LIST tab at item level when ever a service product is entered in service contract ( new line item) automatically ...
I tired wiht CRM_ORDERADM_I_MERGE (CRM_ORDERADM_I_BADI) and
CRM_ORDERADM_I_MERGE(ZCRM_ORDERADM_I_BADI) methods and using fuction module
CRM_ORDPRP_I_MAINTAIN_OW but not success yet.

The way I typically handle organizational service attributes is to have a single amadmin XML file per AM service and in that amadmin file I have two requests, one to assign the service and the second to modify the service attributes. I then run the amadmin command with the -c continue option on the amadmin XML file so the service is always modified with latest settings regardless of whether or not it was assigned for the first time.
Since your question relates to service attribute modification investigate the SchemaRequests -> AddAttributeSchema amadmin commands. For example, I use the following files to modify the amUserService

Create Service Contract using BAPI_SLSTRANSACT_CREATEMULTI

In my requirement, I have to create a Service Contract from flat file by using BAPI - BAPI_SLSTRANSACT_CREATEMULTI and data which are comming from flat files are, <b>Serial number, Sold-to party, Ship-to party, Installation date, Contract start date, Contract end date, Service profile, Response profile.</b>
Please suggest me what are the Import parameters should I pass in this BAPI to create Service Contract?

Hi Deepesh ,
Please use BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI for creating the service contract.This is better in terms of functionality and usage , though very similar to BAPI_SLSTRANSACT_CREATEMULTI in terms of its interface.
You need to call :
1. BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI
2. BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_SAVE
3. BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT
in succession.
As far as filling the import parameters is concerned,
1.All your dates would go to APPOINTMENT_H or APPOINTMENT_I ( Header or Item)
2.Sold-to Party, Ship-to Party would go to PARTNER.

As per my knowledge VPRS condition type will bring price from Material Master.It is an internal condition type. Did you mean VPRS condition type to bring the cost to service contract? I am not clear on it. If you explain little brief, i will check up.

Creation of Service Contract from Inbound IDOC

Hi Experts,
I am using Inbound IDOC type ORDERS02 with message type ORDERS for creation of Sales Order. Now my requirement is like to create a Service Contract from that Inbound IDOC. The IDOC type contains all the data require to create a Service Contract. The scenario is like, after creation of Sales Order it will check for the corresponding Service Contract exits or not by querying on a Z table which contains all those entries.
So my idea is to create a Z Program, in which it will check for the Service Contract and will create the same by reprocessing the same IDOC or by calling some Function Module. Please suggest how shall i proceed to create a Service Contract.
Is there any way to reprocess the IDOC or to collect the Data from the IDOC segments pass them to a FM which is responsible for creation of Inbound IDOC. Please suggest if this is feasible.

Actually there is problem with BDCDATA. Inside the FM it's calling transaction with help of BDCDATA. If i am creating a Sales order or contract alone its creating successfully. But when i am trying to create both, it's retuning sy-subrc '1001' after calling the transaction on the second attempt. Is there any problem with BDCDATA like we can't handle with less time gap? Please help and give your inputs.
