Bapi_pr_change with blocked field

Hello,
I blocked the purchase request when i created it.
Now I need to open it via the Bapi_pr_change ,so I filled the following fields:
<b>Import:NUMBER = my number
Tables:PRITEM :PREQ_ITEM=00010 , REQ_BLOCKED =(none),
PRITEMX:PREQ_ITEM=00010 ,PREQ_ITEMX=X,REQ_BLOCKED =X</b>
REQ_BLOCKED ---> This field can get '1' for blocking and nothing for non blocking.
I generated the bapi with commit and i got a return that it has been changed,but when i looked in the ME23N -->nothing ,the same as it was.
The other fields such as short_text and etc. works well.
Please let me know the reason for that.(I tried even to block with '1' and nothing,and with the reason (text) via the bapi_pr_change )

Bapi_pr_change is used for PR so you go to transaction code ME52n and see the changes you will get.
You are looking into PO that is whay you are not able to see the changes.
If you are doing for PO then use BAPI_PO_CHANGE and proceed and then look into ME23n.

Can anyone suggest how to use the same dff in two different forms by using :BLOCK.field reference.
Scenario is the same DFF is referenced by two forms, viz. Form-1 & Form-2.
Form-1 Reference Field is :BLOCK.field name, but the same block is not available in Form-2, which throws an error while opening it.

In the environment I currently have access to do not have similar setup.
Let say you setup the DFF1 default value to $HEADER.customer_name, the name of the DFF is CUSTOMER_NAME, description can be anything.
In DFF2, default value should be a SQL, where you can reference the DFF1. For example, SELECT DECODE($FLEX.CUSTOMER_NAME, 'ABC', 1, 'DEF', 2, NULL) FROM dual
In this case, you can reference the DFF1.

Use data link object.
Click at data link object then click on the fild in query block1 and drag it into the other query block data link will be created.

And also try tran: SE16 table EBAN and with the field STATU you can check the open PRs.
Block - in the sense 1) Mark like item with deletion so that further documents cannot be created.
2) PR item not yet released.
Blocking also be considered marking item as Closed [MEREQ3321-EBAKZ].
Your requirement differs the selection of table to be selected get data. Please check.

Error while deleting loc - Object variable or With block variable not set

I could not delete some of the existing locations in the HyperionFDM and it results in the error Object variable or With block variable not set.
I verified that the Server has the apps and subfolder which is needed for this application \\servername\data\app1\Inbox etc.
Any pointers will be really useful. Thanks !

There can be several reasons for it, for now I would suggest you:
This error generally comes because:
Cause
The user that logs on workbench does not have write access to the Financial Data Quality Management application shared folder.
Solution
Log onto the machine where the Financial Data Quality Management application files are located. You can locate this path by performing the following:
a) At the FDM Login page choose <Add Application> and login
b) Highlight the FDM Application in question and click the "Modify" button
c) The application path field displays the location of the application folder
2. Go the shared folder, right click and go to Properties -> Sharing -> Permissions and add the user to the Share Permissions and grant "Change" at a minimum.

Payment Block field in invoice displays 'Free for payment 'even though ?

Hi,
We have set necessary upper tolerance limit for Price & Quantity variance in OMR6.This should block invoice for payment in case if this limit is crossed and payment block field in invoice should display "R Invoice verification".
In our case if material is having standard price then we are getting desired results in both the cases of Quantity variance and price variance . However in case of material with moving average price it works fine in quantity variance but not for price variance(Here invoice gets blocked for payment but payment block field displays "free for payment").What can be probable reason for this?
Material ledger is activated in our case.

MIR5 Payment block field

Hi experts,
I am using TCode MIR5 with a standard layout on an ECC6.0 system.
The field 'Payment Block' is showing as null for the range of invoice parties that I have selected to display.
When I drilldown into the invoice the field 'Pmnt Block' from the 'Payment' tab shows 'R invoice verification'.
And in the RBKP table this field is empty.
Do you know why this field is not well filled in the RBKP table ?

I can see some of my invoice documents which are blocked but not all of them.
What I want to do is select in a program all the blocked invoice documents (which I can see in the table RBKP_BLOCKED) but whith the good payment payment block field I can see in the MIR4 transaction in the 'Payment' tab.
Do you know how can I do.

Modify Application: Error Message:: Object Variable or With Block variable

Hi Experts,
We just installed 5.1 on our server and once the application is installed.
When I try to modify the aplication I get this error at the end
This is step what the modify app does:
Check environment information
Drop Fact table index.
Modify fact table.
Update application information.
Set Fact table index.
Create stored procedures and comment table.
Increase application version and make legal consolidation table.
Make OLAP database and Journal/Audit reports. / Validate dimension formulas.
Error Message:: Object Variable or With Block variable
Any one has any any answer ? I will appreciate your help on this.

Please check if Reporting Services is working properly.
Just open IE and type http://nameofserver/reports
If you receive any error then you have to fix that error verifying configuration of RS.
If RS is working make sure you add the right information into Server Manager Server Option for RS and Report Server virtual directory.
Also please check the tblappsetinfo to have all the fields completed (regarding servers).

Coding block fields in recurring documents

I have a recurring document created with some coding block fields.During the entry (FBD1) ,those fields are open and was able to enter the data .During display (FBD3),the data is there.But when I posted some documents(Batch session) using the reference document,the coding block data is not populated on the actual document.I checked SAPF120 and SAPF120G programs and both are active.What could be the problem and why the data in those coding block fields are not getting populated on the actual documents?Thanks

I also facing the same problem of, how to add customer fields to Vendor/Customer entry screen. For me, i already check all field status that involve (for GL OBC4 and for posting key) and they are all optional.
I think it's about the screen number 0302 which will be used for vendor line item entry, while other GLs will used 0300. I already maintain the coding block but still don't know how the system works to use that coding block for the screens.

Blocked fields from change JavaScript to configure email submission of PDF forms

Hi,
I created interactive form with button to send by mail, by inserting the javascript code.
It works properly, but I need the PDF arrivals with interactive fields blocked from change by those who receive it attached to the email.
Let me explain, I need the form to send offers via e-mail to customers, but when I send the customer who receives the email should not change it.
How is it possbile to do this?

Check if you have any hidden fields on the form which are required..
If not, some how the disabled may not be working as expected..
If you still have issues, you can send your form to [email protected] so I can have a look at it..

Displaying "Block" field in PLD

How does one go about displaying the Block field from the Bill To / Ship To addresses for a Customer (in this case) on the A/R Invoice?
The fields typically used are either the A/R Invoice: Bill To or A/R Invoice: Ship To field and neither of these make use of the Block field found in the Business Partner?
We have several Customers with multiple shipping addresses and need to:
a) Display the relevant information for each specific shipping location by document
b) Display ALL the information housed in the Business Partner Master about that particular shipping address
The Bill To and Ship To addresses seems to be system variables so is there a system setting that would force that variable to read and display the Block field as well?
I'm sure there is a simple solution, but I am just not seeing it. I thank all those who take the time to read and respond to this inquiry.

I couldn't test your issue in test environment .So far ,if you see that variable , you can bring that into PLD .
1.Create a system variable field --which is next to database field
2.In the variable field number - put your variable number
3.In comment - you can give any name you want

In BI 7.0,
we cannot add a characteristic to an existing dimension if the data is not deleted from the cube.
It can go to a new dimension and that will not change the existing structure of the cube tables, but will just add to it (as another dim table). or use remodeling.

Create survey/poll with text fields

I want to create a survey in a meeting with text field type answers. How would I do this? I am using the hosted version of Connect and saw some reference to a Presenter add-in for PowerPoint, but don't seem have that. We would like to have fields such as:
Participant information (name, contact information
Suggested future topics
What should I use to do this since the Poll Pod obnly allows for multiple choice or multiple answer options and not key-in fields?

To capture the selected rows along with edited field contents in alv report

Dear All,
         I do have requirement where, in alv report output one field is editable and need to save the content of the edited field along with the selected rows.
         For example If there are 10 records displayed in the alv output with 20 fields.
Out of this 20 fields one field (say XYZ) is editable. Also i have already created a new pushbutton (say ABC) on alv output. Now in the alv output if we maintain some value in the field (XYZ ) for the 2nd and 4th record and select this two records, and when clicked on the pushbutton (ABC) it has to update the DB table.
      I am using the Func Module 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'.
      Your early reply with sample code would be appreciated.

There is an import parameter "i_callback_program" in the function module,
plz pass the program name to it.
Capture the command by passing a field of type sy-ucomm to "I_CALLBACK_USER_COMMAND ". Check the returned command and
and program a functionality as desired.
u can try the event double_click or at line selection. there u can use READLINE command to c if the line has been selected.
In case it is , process the code segment.

AP invoice interface - payment block field question

Hi,
Peoplesoft is our main system for finance. We are using SAP for logistics applications. I am building a interface to send AP invoice details from SAP to peoplesoft on a daily basis. This interface needs to pick up only those invoice that are free for payment i.e. bseg-zlspr (payment block) field is blank. For example, if an invoice is in invoice verification process, it should not be sent. Till this point, it is easy to get the details of these invoices.
Once the invoice verification is done, bseg-zlspr field will become blank and needs to be picked up by interface. But the issue is how to select these invoices. Since the interface will run daily, I can select for invoices that are created on that day or changed on that day. But the issue, when the value of bseg-zlspr field is changed from blocked to free for payment, none of the date field value changes on either bkpf or bseg tables.
Any ideas how to handle this???
