BAPI to upload Person Assignment data under network activity

Hello All!
Can anybody tell me the appropriate BAPI that can upload the data of Person Assignment tab under network activity of Project System(TCode:cj20n)? I.E. data like Split Person Date Time Work Un and others data.

How to Add the Cost of manually created PR under Network/Activity

Dear All,
When I create a PR manually with Acc *** Cat as Q & enter the WBS Element & Network under acc *** tab, the cost of PR is going and sitting as WBS cost. But how can i add that cost under Network instead of WBS ?

Function, BAPI to get the children form a Network Activity in a Project (PS)

Hi everyone,
I have a Project in TCode CJ20N with PEPs, Networks and all the components that It has.
I'm doing a program which input "Network Activity" and the result have to be all the children for this Network Activity (Material Components) including the information for each Material Component because What I'm looking for is to check if at list one of the children for a Network Aciviti have a Purchase Requisition linked to it as I show in the Attached File.
To do this, I need to execute a function, BAPI, BADI or any code to get the children to look for a PR.

BAPI to upload HR mater data

Hi,
We have a requirement to upload employee addresses from an excel file to table PA0006. We are using the standard BAPI , BAPI_ADDRESSEMP_CREATE for this purpose. All mandatory fields like PERNR,BEGDA,ENDDA and SUBTY are being passed to this BAPI.Also we have used appropriate function modules to enqueue and dequeue the PERNR. However we get a message 'Make an entry in all required fields'. Can somebody tell us what we might be missing out on?

weu2019re using PS (Wbs and activities network) to manage Investment Projects.
In our model planning process is carried out by internal activities and costs activities network throught unit costing; in both types of activities we use equal distribution of planned costs. We would like to know if itu2019s possible planned manual values in our activities network for each period to align planned costs to actual costs in planning version 000. Are there any Bapi or other standard functions to solve this problem?
We canu2019t use standard forecast tool because, in our model, all network types are defined in customizing with planning flag set.

Splits (Person Assignment) in Network Activity

Hello Experts,
I have planned 10 hrs work in a network activity. After that , In the person assignment tab of Network Activity, I have assigned a person and gave work as 15 hrs.
When I press enter, I got an information message " The work of all the splits is greater than the work in the operation"
How can I make this information message as error message? I could not find in the configuration.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi Srini,
Any message if you want to change that from warning or error and vice versa......you have to change the message category in the customozation of " Define system message attributes".
SAP provides these kind of customization for puchasing, process order, inventory and some other function modules.... Unfortunately PS module doesnot have this option.
But it is possible to do so....with the help of ABAP consultant.
Here are some of the inputs....
Goto SE80...ABAP workbench
Call for Repository browser
and then enter package and CY and drill down box which is appear in the left side of your screen.
You can see your message 411 at the right hand part...
With the help of ABAPer...it is possible to do so...

I´m trying to upload BI-0PS data, like: Network,Activity and work elements.
I need upload 'Work' and 'Actual Work' datas. I was searching and I saw it can be easily update with standar infosources Network dates (0PS_DAT_NTW), Network Activity Dates (0PS_DAT_NWA) and Network Activity Element Dates (0PS_DAT_NAE), but these infosources doesn´t include 'work' and 'actual work' dates.
   Is there any other Infosources wich upload those fields? If It is necessary build or modify existing infosources could you give me some Idea in order to do that?

PL note that HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION is not RFC enabled.. you will have to wrap it around with a custom RFC in order to use it in palce of the above BAPI..

PS Workforce planning, Person Assignment in internal activity.

Hello PS colleagues!
Im trying to use the workforce planning functions but I can not get the screen for person assignment in the internal activity.
I have done this, IMG I go to this path:
Project System -> Structures -> Operative Structures -> Network -> User Interface Settings -> Layout of Activity Detail Screens -> Define layout activity detail screens
Then I create all tab, I copy the standard to my network profile and there is tab 8, in standard is call Admin. then when I try it out it do not appear in the project, I use project builder.
Does any one what more I need to do for this to work??
Please help me out with this.

Hi,
Iu2019m not able to get person assignment tab for the activity in cj20n.
I have maintained work and workcenter for each activity.
Can any one help me on this, I have checked note 543362 and have maintained the same.
But i dont know what is missing.

Actually the note 543362 (written by me) should give you all the information. Anyway double check the following again.
1. Is the flag 'capacity requirement' of network set?
2. Is the scheduling for network done?
3. Is the work for activity maintained?
4. Which work center is maintained for involved activtiy. Call CR03 for this work center.
4.1. In work center, in the capacity tab. Is the formular for field 'Other formular' maintained. Default is SAP008
4.2. Click of button 'HR assignment', is the HR resource assigned?
If all the checkitems do not help, you can open a customer message to let SAP have a look.

Upload Property Master Data through LSMW

I am using the following BAPI to upload the Property Data through LSMW.
Business Object: BUS1502
Method: CREATE
Message Type: BUS1502_CREATE
Basic Type: BUS1502_CREATE03
There are two issues which needs to be addressed and hope that this forum can help me out.
1. In this BAPI, i dont see the field mapping for Company Code and Business Entity, both mandatory fields for creating a Property record.
2. Skipping the first step, i reached the step "Start IDoc Generation" in LSMW and get the following error.
EDI: Table passed to EDI_SEGMENTS_ADD_BLOCK is empty.
Anyone encountered these issues? Suggestions to resolve these issues?

Hello Hamdan,
First of all, good decision to use BAPI + LSMW it is the best way to load DATA specifically in REFX. Here's answer to your questions.
1. Pass Company code, BE, other header level fields in E1BUS1502_CREATE structure. This is the main Header structure of the Baisc type you are using. Create source structure with these fields and mapp it to the BAPI fields and you are all set.
2. Check the EDI_DC40 element, or other structures if you are passing values. SAP/System will fill/populate these values on its own, do not pass any values example in fields DOCNUM, CREDAT, etc.

How to remove a network activity for one employee from the worklist?

Hi,
We are using the SAP project system where project resources are assigned network activities. In the worklist in the ESS timesheet, the assigned network activities are displayed for the employee. The problem is when several employees are assigned for a network activity, and one of them no longer should register hours on this activity. How can you remove the assignment (using dates etc.) for only one person so that the network activity no longer is present in his worklist in the timesheet?

Well for this pernr you need to have a special coding to check for network and pernr.
other would be a simple way using cats0003 to validate data an employee records here you can have a individual check
for this pernr that he doesnt record for this activity and throw an error when he does! this is simpler
