Barcode printing in ADOBE form when data and Barcode are in different pages

How to send raw value to the Barcode when data values are availabe in Master page and Barcode in the Design page.
Barcode needs to print once on the first page, so it is on Designer page.
Values needed for display of barcode is avilabe on Master page.
How to communicate data between Master page and Designer Page in ADOBE Form?

Hi,
Declare a variable of character type and concatenate DTAP and Bar code value into that variable.
Later print that in required bar code format.
Try this.

Hi all,
I know there are many posts here on moving libraries, but my situation is where I unclicked the "copy files to iphoto library" in preferences, so my files are on one drive while my "iphoto library" is on my main mac drive. Any way I can move my files and "point" my present library file to look in the new direction for these files? It would save me having to do a new library and all the time re-organizing. Using iphoto '09

If your library is still intact and the path to your referenced photos is still the same then Alias Herder - http://www.rorohiko.com/wordpress/downloads/aliasherder/ - has proven successful to converting to a managed library - make a backup of your library and run Alias Herder to bring your photos into the library - check the preference to copy imported items to the iPhoto library and now you can move the iPhoto library where ever you want and point to it by launching iPhoto while depressing the option key and selecting the iPhoto library location
This will eliminate many future problems

Standard text having '&ULINE&' not printed in adobe form????

I have a standard text in so10 which is to be used in my adobe form .
The standard text uses '&ULINE&' to print a line . This when used by script was interpreted and a line is being printed.
But when the same standard text is inluded in the adobe form , it throws a runtime
error saying that " Field '&ULINE&' does not exist".
Could some one help me out how to get this standard text printed in adobe form.

Keychain won't save password when user name and password are on separate pages

I Have and iMac,iPhone and iPad. When I go on a site where the username and password are on different pages, Keychain doesn't seem to work. It won't offer a passwot, nor will it save the username and password I enter.
any suggestions?

II'd rather not disclose the financial institutions i do business with, but my bank and two mutual fund websites use separate pages for username and password. I chec around, and if you go to the Bank of America website, they do it as well. Keychain does not work on any of the three sites I use.

Reg: Label printing in Adobe forms

Hi All,
I am working on Adobe forms for printing labels. For that I have created 10 content areas on the master page and properly aligned all the fields such a way that they fit into the content area exactly.
I am having two subforms with names subform1 & subform2. I have wrapped all fields in subform2 and placed it in the subform1.
Properties of subform1 : I have set it as flowed and set after as 'Go to next content area'
Properties of subform2 : I have set it as positioned and set after as 'Continue filling parent'
The problem here is when I am trying to print 10 labels, all the labels are printed on one page and another empty page is getting displayed. Please provide me some hit for avoiding this blank page. [The data in the labels are exactly fitting into the content area]

I am not very sure...but with the easy solution you gave for my problem...I think one label will be printed per page. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I think when we use subform..we will set it as flowed and when data exceeds it moves to next page
Also give me some hint why empty page is getting displayed in my case.

Check Printing in Adobe Form

Hi,
My requirement is to modify the layout of Check Printing program RFFOUS_C from SAP Script to Adobe Form. I am using ECC6.0. I went through the code, and figured out that include RFFORI01does the check printing part using Open_Form Function module.
Also going through other threads, I figured out that there is no exit in the program RFFOUS_C and the only way to modify it is create a copy of that program and add changes to ZRFFORI01. In the adobe form, apart from normal check printing, i need to add few fields from HR module too.
Any help/ sample code, on how to incorporate this, would be really helpful as I am new to ABAP.

Adobe form getting data from BADI?

I have a webdynpro component which calls an Adobe form which gets data from BADI i.e. prepoulate the values after interacting with the BADI's.How to find the BADI's name ?how it triggers that particular BADI.where it is calling exit handler?

That's why we have debuggers. I suggest that you start debugging through the application and see what it is going on. I would find it difficult to see how the Form itself calls a BADI (since a BADI is an exit in ABAP coding). I would think that the BADI would be called via a service class of the Web Dynpro or the Web Dynpro is calling a function module to process the form. I would start back with the Web Dynpro and see how it is even initializing the form itself.

Make Adobe form not editable and Password protected

Hi All,
Want to add a button on adobe form , when user clicks the button then the form shouldn't allow to edit fields anymore.
I think this can be coded under script editor.
Please anybody specify the syntax to make adobe form not editable.
And my another issue is whether we can handle adobe forms password protected through SAP. kindly specify any approach.

Problem in Dierct print of Adobe form

Hi all,
My requirement is to print the Adobe form directly.when user execute the particular Z transaction. Then the form should be print.
I have given all print parameters to the FM FP_JOB_OPEN.I am using ADS.
But i am getting the print when I excute that Z-transaction with below message
PDF file not printed. 128 MB of memory is required to enable direct PDF printing. What might be the problem.

Hello,
we have the same problem here.
Printer seems to need 128MB physical memory, anything less results in the "PDF file not printed. 128 MB of memory is required to enable direct PDF printing" string or just cryptic signs.
Printing via the adobe reader works fine on the same printer.
In most scenarios direct printing is needed but its not sure if the attached printer have the minimum required memory.
Is there a chance to do direct print with less than 128MB physical memory?
Faking 128MB to windows does not work.

Can my Adobe form push data to Salesforce? I am currently embedding the form code in my web page and would like to have the data pushed to Salesforce on submit. Currently I save a .csv file, but would like to automate the process.

Hi,
The form data will send out email when first time data is saved, but when the user save it for the second time or third time, it won't send out emails automatically, you have to click on the resend email link to have the email sent again. For the subsequent saves, they can use the link provided in first email to retrieve web data. Please check with your users if they have run into this situation and are expecting emails from second or later saves.
If it is not the case, please send me the link of your web form to [email protected] and I would like to try it.

Logical systems assignment when SRM and ECC are on 2 different servers

I could not able to find which i created a logical system in SRM server which i created in ECC

Hi Sai,
Logical System Naming/Creation procedure is not dependent on the servers but it is just a logical representation of a system.
As you are trying to name logical systems for ECC & SRM, please follow the below procedure which is usually recommeded by SAP and followed.
Logical System : <SID>CLNT<Client Number>
For Example if you have a client 300 in system DE0 (also called SID), the logical system name will be DE0CLNT300. And it will be same for SRM system.
You can refer the below document which eplains the creation of logical system and RFC destinations etc

Note: Only while configuring the RFC Destination, the servers will play a crucial role.

Data display - aligning group data and carry over on new page logic - 11G

I am fairly new to BI Publisher, so any help would be much appreciated. I am working with a standard pdf form to display Purchase Order Data. I have saved the image of the pdf as the background of the page. I have a simple table where I am inserting all the data and aligning it on the page so it appears to be in the correct place on the form.
The form has a section containing 10 blank lines to display the PO data. Each line is .25 inches.
The problem occurs that at the line description can have 254 characters but the space on the line allows for 51 characters. So I need to display the data something like this (for simplicity sake)
TableA.id TableA.Description254
Line 1 1 Blah, 1-51 characters of line descr
Line 2 Blah blah, 52 - 102 characters
Line 3 2 Blah, 1-51 characters of line descr
Line 4 3 Blah, 1-51 characters of line descr
Line 5 Blah blah, 52 - 102 characters
Line 6 Blah blah, 103 - 153 characters
anything that carries over needs to go to a second page with a different background image. So I have several questions.
1. Any suggestions on how to display the PO Line, so I can substring the PO line description and display the remaining data on a following line? A second line would write the next 51 characters of data if it exists, and would not display the first column, (TableA.Id)
2. Any suggestions on how to load the carry over data (anything over the 10 lines on the first page) and display on the following page.
I am including a screen shot so this might make more sense. I have lightly dashed orange lines showing of my table which I use for aligning the data. It is only for reference.

Ok, just in case anyone runs into the same issue. Here was my solution.
I added a made up record to the existing xsd template that served as a place holder for my dynamic content.
I created an app package that has two properties.
1. Full String
2. Single Line String
The Method takes in the column width as a parameter. It searches through the Full String until it finds the last available word before the column width. It then returns that as the Single Line String and updates the Full String to what's remaining.
If I have any of the Full String remaining I keep calling the method.
I can provide more specific details about the method if anyone needs it.
