Base integer manipulation not working on HP Prime Calc?

I am a new user of the HP Prime Calculator. Following page 585 of the user manual on integer manipulation. I have entered a #100001100b number, and want to view its value in decimation or hexidecimal form. I scroll up to select it. Then I press the Shift, Base key (directly right of 3), but I do not get the Edit Integer dialog box. I get a # entry like it expects a new number to be entered.

After I had the same trouble updating my firmware, I found that the following procedure works.
1. Manually put your Prime into firmware update mode by holding down the Symb key while performing a paperclip reset. You will see "HP Prime recovery mode" at the top of the screen.
2. Important: Connect the Prime to a USB 2.0 port that's as close to your motherboard as possible. USB ports that are connected by an extension or a hub often fail, even if it's a powered hub. USB 3 ports also have been known to fail.
3. Navigate in Windows Explorer to the installation folder of the Connectivity Kit. In 32-bit Winows 7, it's here:
"C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Connectivity Kit"
4. Run the "Updater.exe" program directly from that folder.
That should work. If not, I can only suggest trying another computer. Some people have reported having no success with one computer, then success with another.

Integer comparaisons not working so well

I am working on an encoding program, but I have a slight glitch when comparing Integers, here is the relevant code:

the deal is, I have a table of associations, each holding a key and a value. The key is an integer holding an int that represents a char. For instance an a=97,b=98 etc as Java has defined.
When casting back into an Integer though, and comparing them, it does not find the correct equality. here is some sample output:

I cant seem to find out why when the Integer key and the Integer look are the same the equality test still returns false. Any insights?

you are comparing object reference , not object values. You should only use == on primatives or to check if object references point to the same object
try something like
look.intValue() == key.intValue()) {
// whatever

base target='_top' not working iframe head

i have dynamic loaded iframe in my application . when i click on the link inside the iframe i want to load the new page in parent window.i have manually added <base target='_top'> in the iframe head section . but link is displaying inside the iframe not in parent window. it is working all browsers excpet firefox.

Base meta tag not working

We have a trial version of Dreamweaver CS3. Up to this point,
we've been using MS FrontPage.
We have a standard meta tag in our header that looks like
this:

This code allows the page to complete relational links so
that, for instance, our styles from our stylesheet are brought into
the page while we're editing it. However, while this code works
fine in FrontPage, it isn't working in Dreamweaver. We have to use
absolute paths to link to all images, media, linked pages, etc.,
for Dreamweaver to render them.
I should add that when we edit pages, they are on a server
that isn't a web server (no IIS). But this lack doesn't bother
FrontPage.
Anyone know what's going on here? I suspect it's an easy fix,
but if it isn't, then we probably won't be buying
Dreamweaver.

I have never used or heard of the base meta tag and I have
never had any problems using relational links in Dreamweaver. Not
sure what could be causing your problems. Can you post a sample of
code or a link?

Autocad 2011, copy / copywith base point dose not work

i installed autocad 2011 on my mac book pro
and i encountered a problem with it
Copy with basepoint or copy command in autocad dosenot work
I tried copying and object from one cad drawing to the other. to paste the object i have to used the command paste for atleast ten time to paste one object. And if i try to copy multiple objects with copy with base point command, it hangs. i have to force quit autocad
I uninstalled autocad and reinstalled it, but i have the same problem

How much RAM do you have installed?
How much free space do you have available on the HD?
Exactly which MBP do you have/what are it's specs?
It sounds like you may be copying very large files, and either the RAM is lacking, there is not enough HD space for virtual RAM, or that's just as fast as the machine runs, and you'll have to wait for it.

If ping works then it could be a fragmentation issue . Try to adjust TCP MSS value on PIX. For ASA check the following link.
sysopt connection tcp-mss MSS_size_in_bytes
example : sysopt connection tcp-mss 1360
You can also find the exact size for your connection using extended ping utility from your workstation as explained in following link .

Hi, as far as I know the BAS option does not work for XDIM_MEMBERSET in the version you are working. I would use teh *SELECT option as an alternative to tackle this issue via some properties.

SelectManyListBox is not working for Integer Objects in Jsf

In JSF selectManyListBox is not working with Integer objects it is working only with String Objects. It is showing the error "value is invalid" can anybody please send me sample code snippet regarding this.

The javadoc of UISelectMany.validateValue() says:
In addition to the standard validation behavior inherited from UIInput, ensure
that any specified values are equal to one of the available options.
So, you should take care that the submitted values are equal to one of the
options. Note that an Integer is never equal to a String.

Graphite base station not working with my Intel Based Mac Mini and iPhone.

My Airport Express died after 2 years of use. I had to resort to plugging in my old but still functioning Graphite Airport base station. Since the set up assisant on my Mac mini does not work with the older base station, I used my G4 400 tower to set it up. I got it working and tested the connection. On to testing my iPhone. It sees the new network. Password is entered and the wifi icon shows full signal strength, but does not connect to the web. Next I try my Mac mini out on the new network and it too sees the network, but does not connect to the web. I double check the older G4 and the connection is still strong and fast. I shut the G4 down thinking that maybe the Graphite can only support one computer at a time, and the Mac mini and iPhone still can't connect to the web. I'm not sure what to do with this one. Is there a setting that I need to use? As far as security goes, the Graphite base station was set up with a WEP password. Any help would be great

I suggest using AirPort Admin Utility (version 4.2) to check the base station settings and change them, if necessary. (AirPort Admin Utility should be able to configure a Graphite base station from a computer running Mac OS X 10.4, even though AirPort Setup Assistant can't.)
In the Network pane of AirPort Admin Utility, please make sure that "Distribute IP addresses" and "Share a single IP address (using DHCP and NAT)" are checked, and that everything else is unchecked. I am assuming that the Graphite is the only router in your local network and that there are no computers connected via Ethernet.
The Access Control pane of AirPort Admin Utility should list either all of the relevant AirPort ID's or nothing. You can find the AirPort ID of an OS X computer by looking at System Preferences>Network>Show:AirPort>AirPort.
The Internet pane of AirPort Admin Utility should be set in accordance with your Internet provider's requirements. Most likely, it should be set to Connect Using:Ethernet and Configure:Using DHCP.
After verifying the settings, power down the computers, base station and cable or DSL modem for a few minutes, then start them up sequentially, leaving time for each to get fully up and running: first the modem, then the base station, and finally the computers.
The network preferences on the Mac Mini and the iPhone are also relevant. I assume that the preferences are unchanged from those that worked with the AirPort Express.

Hierarchy restrictons not working with Basis servicepack upgrade to 14

We recently upgraded our system with basis sp 14, and we having the below problems with out hierarchy restrictions:
Problem #1
We recently upgraded our system from then onwards hierarchy restrictions not working, users are getting authorization error when they execute the query. However we tried by adding aggregates now hierarchy restrictions seems to be working.
Problem #2
We are testing hierarchy restrictions for budget planning function, after we add aggregate its allowing the user to plan the data, but when they try to distribute or escalate the data its again throwing authorization error. When I checked error log for Orgunit hierarchy restriction, the query is looking for single values it is not considering the node restriction, the orgunit values appeared in error log all belong to the node I restricted in analysis authorization.
We implemented note#1133674 as this was relevant to our issue with planning function. But this didnt fix the issue.
We are now on BI SP 16 and Basis SP 14
Just wondering If any of you came across with the same kind of issue, Any help is appreciated.

Valuation Basis for Different Payment (BWGRL) not working in 2010

We have a commission wagetype which we entered in IT 2010 in Number/Unit field.
Since we don't have premium id available, we used "Valuation Basis for Different Payment (BWGRL)" to enter the RATE.
This RATE is not working during our payroll run, however when we are using the wagetype with premium ID it is working fine.
My question is- What could be the reason that the Valuation Basis for different payment is not working ?
I checked the wagetype in V_512W_B table and it has the following configuration-
Current wage type
Valuation Basis = BLANK
Statement/WT = BLANK
%Rate = 100
1st derived wage type
Valuation Basis = BLANK
Statement/WT = BLANK
%Rate = BLANK
2nd derived wage type
Valuation Basis = BLANK
Statement/WT = BLANK
%Rate = BLANK
Would appreciate if the the fix could be provided.

I think in your case for commision wagetype you need to modify rule $930 to process the override rate from Infotype 2010 BWGRL field in case you are using the US standard schema.
The valuation basis table V_512W_D and rule $930 together will determine the valuation basis.
The default valuation basis comes from table V_512W_D.In case you want to override the valuation basis rate defined in this table,you need to maintain override rate in It2010 and accordingly have the logic defined in rule $930 for that particular wagetype .
Following is the sample rule definition for a similar scenario.

Change chart object with crosstab base not work

I use this simple script to change some settings on the chart. Is a chart base on a crosstab, an error occurs: " The chart data fields are not valid.". All other chart not base on a crosstab work fine. Why?

Well, let's stick with one issue. If you want to discuss other issues, create a new thread per each one ([Rules of Engagement|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/home/rulesofEngagement]). Re. charts based on xtabs. Try to create the chart in the designer first. Then try to create it in code. Even in the designer, the chart must be quite basic. E.g.; no multiple summaries. Also, can you create a chart in your code on a report that has no xtab?

Family Base restrictions not working

We setup a family base account per the instructions and video. The time restrictions seem to be working fine but the list of trusted numbers is not working. Our son is still able to send and receive text messages through his iPhone 4 to anybody unless we specifically block their number on the Verizon account.
We found that even with Family Base restrictions setup, imessage bypasses those restrictions so we turned off imessage on his phone and setup restrictions on his iPhone itself. This stopped him from being able to use the imessage feature of the iPhone but people who are not setup in his trusted numbers are still able to get text messages through. We're frustrated because the family base is not working the way it's supposed to and we're being charge for this "feature."

I'm sorry for any inconvenience with your son's iPhone 4 and the Family Base feature. Upon review of this feature, I see that the child companion app is not compatible with the iPhone device.
