Issue: I am trying create a debit note with reference to other invoice (open-42346) for which the base line date is 25.06.2010. for this debit note I am getting baseline date as 25.06.2010.

Thank you.

Hello Pramod.;
Please, have a look in flag activated (V_TVFK-XVALGS - Credit memo with value date) in T-code VOFA for your billing document. maybe this configuration can be influencing.

  • Baseline date change after the creation of invoice list

When I create invoice document, the invoice date (vbrk-fkdat) is the end of the month and the invoice list date (VBRK-FKDAT_RL) is the next business day after the invoice date, the baseline date of the accounting document (bseg-zfbdt) is the document creation date and this is what I wanted.
However, when I start to create the invoice list, the baseline date on the accounting document (field bseg-ZFBDT) is changed to the invoice list date. Does anyone know why and how to fix and where to look in the configuration to see how invoice list date (vbrk-fkdat_rl) is populated? It seems to me that the baseline date default back to the invoice list date when invoice list document is created. Thanks for your help.  I also posted this question in the ERP Financial thread.

  • Need to know a BAPI for Debit Note Creation

    Hello all,
I need to create Debit note through my own code depending on some business logic, I'll appriciate if anyone can let me know of any BAPI or function module that I can use to create Debit Note (Although, a chunk of ABAP code will certainly be very helpful for me). Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,

    Hi Paolo,
Well, we have experiemented with this BAPI "BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_PARK" earlier, but we found out that it dose not work properly for Service Orders; also it dose not seem to post proper debit note. Anyways, we have used another BAPI "BAPI_ACC_GL_POSTING_POST", it worked but it posts the debit note (Vendor Credit Memo) but we only want to park the debit note and let the user review it and then the user can post it manually or so afterwards...

  • Debit note creation

    Hi,
I want to know the confg for the below scenarion.
i had created one billing doc for x product and 50 quantity.later i had situation of charging debit note for 30 units,so i went to VA01 and with ref to billing doc i had completed the process.
later i had again charged debit note for remaining 20 units with ref to same billing doc in this situation system is giving us information of there are already returns for 30 units and debit memo already exist for 30 units.
how to congigure for this kind of information message.

    Hi,
I understand that in order to update this quantities on the reference document i.e original billing document on which i am creating debit memo,i should keep '+' sign in relevant item catyegory of the billing document type.
the broder meaning of this is...
uantity is calculated positively, negatively or not at all
Indicates whether, during copying, the quantity or value in the target
document has a negative effect, positive effect, or no effect at all on
the quantity still to be completed in the source document.
    se
The system uses this indicator to determine how the quantity in the
source document is affected. For example, if you
o   Create a quotation item for 100 pieces,
o   Copy the quotation into a sales order, and
o   Create a sales order item for 80 pieces,
the copying has a positive effect on the quotation. In effect, you have
added 80 pieces to the quotation quantity that is now considered
complete. 20 pieces in the quotation remain to be completed.
If you do not make an entry in this field, or set indicator 0, the
source document is not blocked, which allows you to create several
target documents at once (for example, when using EDI and frequent
    contract releases).
While the source document (such as quotation or quantity contract) is
being processed, it is blocked. For instance, if you are working on a
quantity contract, no one can create a release order for that contract).
    mple
In sales documents, for example, you can expect the following results:
o   Quotation   -> Sales order: positive
    o   Contract    -> Return: negative
o   Sales order -> Sales order: no effect
In billing documents, for example, you can expect the following results:
    Delivery    -> Invoice: positive
    Delivery    -> Cancellation: negative
Delivery    -> Pro-forma invoice: no effect.

  • Baseline date of a Debit memo

    Dear all,
When credit/debit memo is created with copy from the original invoice it is a legal requirement that the baseline date (used for the calculation of the payment due date) is equal to the baseline date of the original document. For the credit memo we have this setting in the system, however for the debit memo this is not set like this so far and the document date is used as a baseline date. Please give same idea how to change the setting in order to have baseline date for debit memo equal to baseline date of the original document.
    Thanks a lot
    Desimira

To activate the payment terms on these non-invoice related credit memos, enter a V in the "Invoice Reference" field when
    entering the document.
The above works for credit memo, please check for debit memo.

  • Debit memo(DR doc type) baseline date exceding the payment term days

    Hi All
For debit memo I am facing a issue where my baseline date for a customer is showing more then the days specified in his(customer's) payment terms.
sales document category is DR and order is created for some customer xyz and payment terms of that customer is showing 0% UP TO 15 DAYS. But when I check it in FBL5n the Net due dt for that order is showing 180 + 15 = 195days.
What can be the reason, is it due to some enhancement or some routine or what , I am not able to figure out from where these days are coming for. I have checked MV45AFZZ , RV60AFZA and other exit s, I couldnt find any code which shows these added 180 days..
Guide me in finding out the source ot this, <removed by moderator>.
    Thanks in Advance

    HI,
You may need to check the copy control settings between the debit memo request and sales document in transaction code VTAA.
Select the target document type and source document type, and click on the details (header level). Check the routine that is assigned for the field copying requirements for transfering business data.
The routine assigned may be copying the base line date from the source document. You may need to assign other routine or you may need to develop your own routine to resolve your issue.

  • Creation of Vendor Invoice  - BADI to control "Payment Baseline Date field"

    Hi ,
In SRM - Creation of Vendor Invoice  or Credit memo  -
In the process of creation of vendor invoice in Header Data - Payment Data tab there is a field "Payment Baseline Date" and I want to populate custom value to this field using BADI. But I could not find any BADI to do this.

I tried DOC_CHANGE_BADI and this one does not have this field in the ET_HEADER.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Baseline Date not chaning using BADI FAGL_SET_SEGMENT

If someone has worked with this badi FAGL_SET_SEGMENT, can you please help.
I'm trying to change the baseline date for the vendor invoice created using FB60.  I implemented the above BADI and changed the value of Baseline Date and Cash discount days based on the business logic. But the change is not reflecting in the document.
    Please help.
    Thank you.

I understand the proposed solution but I do not think this should be a custom coding requirement.  The underlying assumption of the invoice payment term is that goods / services have been delivered.  The transfer of title should be a configurable trigger for the vendor payment baseline date.  Many consumer goods are shipped FOB to the customer destination with a 3-4 week shipping timeline.  Normal payment terms run 30-45 days.  We want our baseline date to start when the title transfers.  I can understand the GR document does not take the place of a proof of delivery but it is much closer to the the point where we actually transfer title then when we normally receive the invoice (2 days after vendor shipment).  Of course I have been through the argument that the invoice document date should be manipulated but I do not buy into it because it envokes a form of dispute management on a standard flow.  Initially I went down the path of GR based IV which follows the same logic as above for the release of ultimate payment.  I am confused as to why the standard solution does not provide an equivalent configuration for baseline date computation.  Can anyone explain why this is the case or whether I am just missing something obvious?

  • Payment term and Baseline date are not appear after residual clearing

    Hi Friends,
We have an issue in Payment term. Recently small changes were made in OBA3.Here they enable the option of "Payment term from invoice". the function of this is to - copy  the payment term and baseline date form invoice to Partial item .Due to enable of this function after residual clearing the payment term and base line fields are get empty.
Now user want to get these fields to be updated even not changes take place in OBA3.Can you please suggest me the way,  with out changes in OBA3 can we get payment term and baseline date field after residual clearing .Please suggest .
    Thank you
    Regards,
    Dharma

    Hi Julie,
    Thanks for your reply..
Here the issue is, the user using Baseline date for two specific purpose.
    1.Due day calculation-auditing purpose
    2.Agning report
For due day calculation they recently enable the option "payment term from invoice in -OBA3".Due to active the function, system copy the payment term and baseline date from invoice to residual item.it means the residual item having baseline data as invoice date not posting date.
But for aging report purpose it has to be update posting date.
now user want to meet these both requirement .How can it possible .Please suggest.
    Thank you

  • Baseline date & Payment terms are not populating for Intercomany vendor

    Hi,
When we post intercompany invoice & check the vendor line items in FBL1N,it is expected to have data payment terms & Baseline date from the posted Invoice.this is occuring fime with single company but this data is blank for Intercompany which is creating issues for further steps.
Anybody has faced such issue? What may be the resolution?

    Hello,
Why are you directly executing these programs?
You will not expect these program to execute directly by going to SE38.
I would have configured the relevant payment methods in the country with DME structure or classical RFFO* programs, which in turn pick up the inherent programs at the time of running F110.
For example, if you need to generate BACS file for country GB, either you copy the GB_BACS to ZGB_BACS or use GB_BACS directly in FBZP settings.
Make sure that you have maintained OBPM1 / OBPM2 / OBPM3 and OBPM4 settings properly.
The system automatically gives the access to system RFFOAVIS_FPAYM. Prepare a variant against this program in F110. Relevant file gets generated to folder path mentioned in OBPM4 will get generated. The file get generated can be seen in AL11.
Hope this is informative and solves your issue.

    Ravi

  • Baseline date not as default setting

    HI all,
payment term Z000 has default baseline date as posting date.
upon entry, doc date = 01.01.2006, posting date = 31.01.2006 BUT baseline date picks up 01.01.2006.
what other setting did the system checks?

    Hi
in customising  for terms of payment you must set for default for baseline date
    the  posting date and
    not the document date
this is the reason for the problem

  • Baseline date not default in MIRO for Invoices posted against STO Pu.Order

    Hi All,
Baseline date doesn´t default in MIRO for Invoices posted against an STO Purchase Order.
We are trying to post an Invoice in MIRO with reference to a STO Purchase Order for planning delivery cost.
Delivery cost in PO has not got the Vendor number because conditions are customized not possible to process manually so in MIRO the system asks to enter the Invoicing Party and then the baseline date.
The client requires that when the invoicing party is enter manually in MIRO, the term of payment should be pick up from Vendor Master Record.
Could someone confirm if this possible ?
    Thanks and regards,
    Laura

    Hi Laura ,
The payment terms in Invoice are taken from PO only .
