Basic configuration guide to set ECC to PI

Hi Experts,
I would to set a scenario for BAPI to File.
Please let me know the basic configuration to be set for ECC and PI.
Explain in detail as I am totally new to this.
Thanks
Sunil

Hi Sunil,
the 'TP column' can be seen by using
TCODE
  SMGW
on the gatway system that you are registering the <Program ID>.
Menu option
  GoTo
    -> Logged on Clients
The 'TP Name' column is the 3rd column.
Can you advise :
(1)
if the RFC destination (created on the ECC) system is working by using the 'Test Connection' option in the SM59 RFC destination?
(2)
Is the respective RFC Sender Adapter Communication Channel activated?
(3) how you are call in the RFC, e.g. ABAP report or SE37?

but  I need the  started guide to the basic configuration ..
My concern is  because   the AP will be used for a  producction enviroment and    the  point will  be
what will be the  best  radio configuration  with  open with non security  .. ? 2.4 or 5ghz ..
is any one know about it  I appretitate your support
    thnks  in advanced
    regards

    Hi,
do you have AIR-CAP or AIR-SAP
as AIR-CAP is controller based AP where you need the WLC to get the AP configured. Simply you have to connect the AP with POE.
AIR-SAP is standalone and below is the doc to configure it:-
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/access_point/15_2_4_JA/configuration/guide/scg15.2.4_book.html
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk722/tk809/technologies_configuration_example09186a0080c0b93c.shtml
2.4 GHZ or 5GHZ depends on what type of clients you want to connect ? If you have clients with A radio/ N radio then you need 5 GHZ and if your client is having G radio/N radio you can go for 2.4 GHZ.

  • Optus ADSL2+ and WRT610n Quick Guide to setting up.

Hi all fellow Optus (australian isp) ADSL2+ and Linksys users,
I have a quick guide to setting up your new WRT610n with the optus supplied ADSL2+ Speedstream 4200 modem. This should solve most users problems with no internet connections, firewall rules not appearing to work properly etc.
It took me several hours of stuffing around and online researching untill I got these two to work together and have full firewall funtionality!
First up.... DON'T USE the LELA to setup the router! For some unknown reason, the laptop I used to setup the router, was configured by LELA to be a proxy and gateway, and unless that laptop was on.... the router wasn't passing info through it and back out to the internet! A full Reset of the Router was needed to clear this setting!
    Now Lets get started.
BEFORE inserting the router into the network and connecting everything up, we need to reconfigure the Speedstream modem to FULL BRIDGE mode. NOTE! this will infuture disable the Web interface to the DSL modem, so changing to FULL BRIDGE mode should be the last thing you do to the modem before logging out. A full hard reset (little button) will restore the web functionality again should you need to put it back to normal.
    1) Setting Speedstream 4200 to Full Bridge mode - This is necessary for the Modem to fully pass on ALL of the ISP settings. Such as correct gateway info, DNS info, "REAL" online IP address (not the generic psuedo 10.x.x.x number) etc.
    - To do this, open your web client, Internet Explorer or similar. And enter the IP address 10.1.1.1
    - Feel free to look around the settings of the modem but don't change anything just yet. Wouldn't be a bad idea to take screenshots of all the settings pages now like I did should I need to return it to original settings.
    - The Webpage of the modem will open up and click on PPP - Take note (as in write this down!) of your "PPPoE 8/35" type which you'll select in the router later, and your Username for optus logon and password (you should know that or go looking for that paperwork that has your username and password that came with your optus Modem installer CD). You will enter all this login info in the router later as the router will do the logging in and take over from the modem!
    - Next, click on Mode - You will see 3 options. For most, it will currently be on Optus Bridge. This mode enables a router inside the modem and is now to be replaced by the new Linksys you just bought. By Changing this to FULL BRIDGE mode, you essentially disable the modems internal router and turn it into a dumb modem (like the good old days of dumb dial up modems yey!)
    - When you've changed to FULL BRIDGE mode, it will tell you the Web interface is now disabled. Close the window. And lets get to configuring the router.
    2) Plugging everything in time!
    - The Speedstream 4200 ADSL2+ Modem stays plugged into the wall as normal, but the LAN cable which used to go to your computer now plugs into the WAN port of the router.
    - Plug the PC into one of the LAN ports of the Router also.... or if like me, you have a Switch that all the PC's use, plug that into the router.
    3) Setting up the WRT610n (or similar linksys router)
    - Open Internet Explorer/Firefox and enter the IP Address of the Router (Fresh install IP is 192.168.1.1)
    - Username is "admin" and password is "admin" (you'll want to change this later I'm sure)
    - OK now your in! We need to setup the internet account settings.
    - Setup-Basic Setup page:- Internet Connection Type will be what you saw in the modem PPP page (you did write that down didn't you?). For me, I select PPPoE.
    - The enter my optus username info and password
    - click on Keep Alive (30 Secs).
    - Then click Save Settings at the very bottom of the webpage.
It will likely ask to reboot.... let it do so
    Now at this point:
    - Your modem should have always been in Sync
    - Your LAN IP from the WRT610n should be in the 192.168.1.100+ range? (I changed this later to put my IPs back in the 192.168.0.100+ range so I didn't have to reconfigure static PC's or printers around my network)
    - Your Router should have reset about now and hopefully logged onto the internet through the modem.
To check all is working fine. Open the Routers webpage again and click on Status. Under the Internet Connection area, Click connect if it hasn't already connected for ya. This page should auto-refresh.
Check that the connection says Connected and that the IP addresses given in all the fields appear to be internet addresses (ie not 10.x.x.x or 192.168.x.x etc). If not, check that the status lights on the modem are all correct (you know how it should look when it's ok).
Open IE or firefox and check that you have internet!
It's important to make sure that the Internet IP Address in the Status page matches the one you get from http://www.whatismyip.com/. Because if it doesn't, then the Router isn't truely at the front of the Internet-Lan boundary. If this is the case, you may still have internet working ok, but the firewall portforwards may not work as seen in other forum posts around the net.
If it's OK, then Grab a Beer and Celebrate, you've just saved yourself 6 hours of hair pulling frustration!
    SUCCESS!
Now, if your so inclined.... I would highly recommend changing Admin passwords, adding security to your Wireless connections, changing your DHCP to something your comfortable with or just leave them alone if everyone is server assigned IP's. I find it's a good idea to use the DHCP Mac reservation in the basic setup so I know each PC will get the same IP each time it logs into the router and thus makes Portforwarding SOOoooo much easier knowing the IPs don't change on you when the IP lease time expires if the PC has been offline too long.
Please feel free to comment on this, I'm pretty sure 99% apart from grammar is correct! Hope it helps many new and old users.
Have a brilliant day! and may the force be with you!
    Ramjet

It's not clear to me exactly what problem you're having, but does this post help?

  • Basic configuration in GRC 10 for portals

    Hi Gurus,
Could you please tell me the basic configuration details in GRC 10 for portals.
    Thanks,
    Mukesh

    Hi Mukesh,
    You can refer to https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/sno/ui_entry/entry.htm?param=69765F6D6F64653D3030312669765F7361…
However there is no such guide on Portal integration with GRC, you might need to follow below steps:
1- Create one HTTP type RFC connection between GRC and Portal system.
2- Create System Alias in portal system for GRC system
3- Deploy the GRC Portal content in Portal system
5-Portal content comes with 5 work-sets and one security role. You can assign the portal role that comes with the Portal content to user in Portal and also GRC roles to the same user in GRC system.
    Hope this helps.

    Symptom
    Loyalty functionality in sales order
    Solution
Please read the documentation below Setup for Integration of Sales Order with Loyalty for CRM 7.0 You can use this note to integrate the loyalty application with sales order to allow customers to earn reward points on purchase of products, redeem points and buy point products. To enable the above-mentioned functionality, the following set up has to be carried out in the system: -> Product master data You have to add SetType REWARD_PRO_LOY (created for product type Material) to the product category. You may create a new product category for loyalty products. You can add the settype to a product category using the following steps: 1. Use transaction COMM_HIERARCHY
    2. Search for the category to be used for loyalty products
    3. In the SetTypes tab under Category Data, add REWARD_PRO_LOY as the settype After the settype is added to the loyalty product category, it will appear as point information assignment block in the product overview page. Here, you can maintain point information for Accrual, Redemption and Buy Points scenarios. You have to select the Scenario, Point Type (Points, Miles etc) and enter the associated number of points. The following three activities are supported: -> Accrual
In this scenario, a customer buys standard products and earns reward points for his purchase. The actual points to be accrued will be maintained at product master data level.  You have to select EARN as the loyalty scenario. Example: We have a product, Laptop T 61, which has 1000 reward points associated with it, at the product master level. If a customer buys this product a member activity will be created and 1000 points will be credited to his account. Note: You can maintain points for a product with a particular loyalty scenario in the point information assignment block of product overview page. -> Redemption
In this scenario, a customer redeems his points to buy products. In CRM 7.0, redemption products have 100% discount and can be bought only by points. The point value of such products will be maintained at product master data level in point information assignment block. You have to select REDEEM as the loyalty scenario. Example: We have a keyboard HT-1010, which has a price of 5000 points (and 100% discount). If a customer buys this product, a member activity will be created and 5000 points will be deducted from the customer's account. -> Buy Points
This functionality enables a customer to purchase points. The point value of such products will be maintained at product master data level under the point Information assignment block. You have to select BUYPOINTS as the loyalty scenario. Note:
Point information is maintained for 1 base unit of product .If the quantity and unit of measure are changed, the points will be calculated accordingly.
-> Customizing in SPRO You have maintained the following customizing settings in SPRO:
-> In the customizing activity Define Point Types for Sales-Order Integration, you maintain point types. For more information, see SAP Customizing Implementation guide   Customer Relationship Management  Marketing  Loyalty Management - Design  Channel Integration  Define Point Types for Sales-Order Integration Point Information in product master can be maintained only for these point types.
-> In the customizing activity Define Categories and Types for Sales Order Integration, you maintain member activity category, activity type, sales order status for which activity will be created and the processing delay ( Process On Hold) for a particular loyalty scenario. For more information, see SAP Customizing Implementation guide  Customer Relationship Management  Marketing  Loyalty Management - Execution  Member Activities  Define Categories and Types for Sales Order Integration
-> In the customizing activity Define Transaction Types, you maintain the transaction types for accrual, redemption and buy points. For more information, see SAP Customizing Implementation guide  Customer Relationship Management  Transactions  Basic Settings  Define Transaction Types Note:
Reference transaction types LTAA, LTAR and LTAB are delivered for CRM IC and UIU. For web channel, transaction types ISLA, ISLR and ISLB are delivered. You can create new transaction types on project basis but transaction classification should be maintained as A, R and B for accrual, redemption and buy points transactions respectively. For redemption transaction LTAR, the item category is LTAR where the pricing process is maintained as 100% discount. Therefore, the net value will always be 0 for redemption items and only points will be charged. You have to maintain the condition 0R10 in pricing procedure. The pricing procedure 0CRM01 contains the details of condition 0R10. If you do not maintain 100% discount, then additional currency price will be displayed. For example, $200 + 100 MILES. Billing and delivery related customizing has to be done on a project basis. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------- Setup for Integration of Sales Order with Loyalty in EhPx for CRM 7.0 You can use this note to integrate the loyalty application with sales order to allow customers to earn reward points on purchase of products, redeem points and buy point products.
This is an optional activity. In many cases, the points accrued will not be maintained in the product master data but will be determined based on reward rules. In such cases, you do not have to maintain the SetType. -> Buy Points
This functionality enables a customer to purchase points. The point value of such products will be maintained at product master data level under the point Information assignment block. You have to select BUYPOINTS as the loyalty scenario. This activity is mandatory for Buy Points scenario.
Note:
Point information is maintained for 1 base unit of product .If the quantity and unit of measure are changed, the points will be calculated accordingly. Redemption functionality in Ehp1 for CRM 7.0 In case of redemption, you have three payment options to choose from. You choose the payment option in the customizing activity Define Mixed Payment for Sales Order Integration. For more information, see SAP Customizing Implementation guide   Customer Relationship Management  Marketing   Loyalty Management  Channel Integration  Define Mixed Payment for Sales Order Integration a) Fixed redemption value from Product Master
The point information will be picked from the SetType as explained above and 100% discount will be given at item category level. Attached is the screenshot of the same. Using Pricing Process, you can select whether normal pricing is executed or 100% discount is given. In addition to the above-mentioned setting, a 100% discount condition should be included in the pricing procedure. For this purpose, you can use the standard condition 0R10 in the pricing procedure. b) Mixed redemption using Conditions and IPC With Ehp1 for CRM 7.0, mixed payment functionality is available. This enables a consumer to pay with points and money in a single sales transaction. You can maintain point prices as conditions in product master data under the Prices assignment block. The condition type
0LM1 with condition tables SAP002, 003 and 004 are used to maintain these point conditions as seen in the screenshot below. Select the option '0LM1_LM_SAP002' from the dropdown. Select 0LM1_LM_SAP002 from the dropdown. In the above screenshot, Price in Points = 100% point price , Max Price in Points = maximum points a consumer can spend, Min Price in Points = minimum points a consumer should spend for this product. Note:
In the above scenario, entries in Point Information assignment block will not be considered for redemption but the information will be picked from the conditions. A new usage LM is developed for points as conditions. You can use the customizing activity Condition Technique: Basics to develop condition tables, access sequences, condition types and point procedures.
For more information, see SAP Customizing Implementation guide   Customer Relationship Management  Master Data  Conditions and Condition Technique  Condition Technique: Basics You can create condition objects with application CRM and usage LM. The point procedure 0LM001 is delivered and can be used in a sales transaction using the below the customizing Determine Point Procedures. Point information will be fetched by executing this procedure. For more information, see SAP Customizing Implementation guide   Customer Relationship Management  Marketing  Loyalty Management  Channel Integration  Determine Point Procedures You can assign this point procedure to a particular sales org, distribution channel, division, customer pricing procedure and document pricing procedure the same way it is done with pricing procedure. If you decide to use only points in a sales transaction (consumer has to pay 100% point price always), a standard pricing procedure with 100% discount would suffice. If you want to allow mixed pricing, for example, a consumer can pay anything between 1000 to 2000 points and rest in currency, then condition type 2902 (point based discount) should be included in the pricing procedure and 100% discount should not be chosen at item category level as explained above. The conversion rate between points and currency can be maintained in CRM UI in the following manner:
    1. Go to Loyalty Management
    2. Select Prices
    3. Choose 2900 as the Price Maintenance Group
Attached is the screenshot of the same. Here 1 USD is maintained as 1 point. Product specific conversion rates are also allowed. Condition type 2901 is the reference condition type for 2902 and 2903 (used in flexible order and is described later in the section flexible order). Scales can be maintained for the conversion rates. For example, for the first 1000 Points it is 0.5 USD per point. From 1000 to 2000 points, it is 0.75 USD per point and from 2000 points onwards, it is 1 USD per 1 Point Example of Sales order Here, a product TV-1000 is maintained with Point price as 1000 Miles and Min Point price  as 500 miles and Max point as 1000 Miles. A consumer purchases this product using a redemption transaction and spends 500 points. With a conversion rate of 1 USD equal 1 point, the net value becomes 500 USD + 500 Miles. If consumer spends 1000 Miles, the net value will be 0 USD + 1000 miles. Similarly, various combinations of maximum price and minimum price can be maintained in Product master and accordingly consumer can use his points to redeem products. c) Mixed payment using Flexible order If you do not wish to maintain point prices for individual products due to high volume of products, specifically in retail, then they you select this option where during the checkout, consumer will be given the option to use his points. Discount will be given based on the points spent at an item level. In this case, the only thing you have to maintain is a fixed conversion rate (condition type 2901). The transaction type will be the same as accrual. For example, a consumer purchases a product HT-1000 on which he can earn 1000 special points. During checkout, he will be asked to use his points. Use Point Payment will be enabled, and he can enter points he wants to redeem. If he decides to use 500 points, then a discount will be given to him based on the points spent. Here, with a conversion rate of 1 USD equal to 1 point, 500 USD discount will be given and accrual information will be lost. Hence, the points spent will be equal to 500. Discount Based on Member Basic and Lifetime Tiers In accrual transactions, discounts can be given to members who have reached a particular tier (Basic and Lifetime tiers). This can be maintained as a condition using the following steps:
    1. In CRM UI, go to Loyalty Management
    2. Select Prices
    3. Choose 29MD as the Price Maintenance Group
Here, we can maintain the percentage discount on a product for a particular basic and lifetime tier. The condition type 29MD should be included in the pricing procedure of sales transaction to provide discounts. In sales order processing, you can check the discount under the assignment block Price Totals on the overview page. In this case, a 2% discount is given based on the above condition as shown in the third row) Generation of Billing Documents Once a sales order is created and saved, you can generate a billing document as a follow up activity. For loyalty sales transactions, the following three new fields are added to the billing document.
    -> Points
    -> Point type
-> Points spent In Accrual and Buy Points scenarios, Points = Points accrued; Point type = Miles, points etc; Points spent = 0 In redemption scenarios, Points = Total point price; Point type = Miles, Points etc; Points spent = points spent by the consumer To generate billing document from a sales order, you have to select a relevant billing option for the item category. In this case, we have selected Transaction-Related Billing According to Order Quantity. The billing will happen via CRM Billing.
Note: Only CRM Billing is currently supported
As billing will happen only if the order is replicated successfully to ERP (where shipping, delivery and logistics will be done), you have to ensure that all the master data, for example, products, BP (sold to party), conditions, etc are present in ERP along with the transaction type and item category (for example, LTAA and LTAN). Once replication is complete, we can create a billing document from the sales order overview page. Select Create Follow-up and choose Billing. -> Customizing in SPRO You have maintained the following customizing settings in SPRO:
-> In the customizing activity Define Point Types for Sales-Order Integration, you maintain point types. For more information, see SAP Customizing Implementation guide   Customer Relationship Management  Marketing   Loyalty Management  Channel Integration   Define Point Types for Sales-Order Integration Point Information in product master can be maintained only for these point types.
-> In the customizing activity Define Categories and Types for Sales Order Integration, you maintain member activity category, activity type, sales order status for which activity will be created and the processing delay (Process On Hold) for a particular loyalty scenario. For more information, see SAP Customizing Implementation guide  Customer Relationship Management  Marketing  Loyalty Management  Member Activities  Define Categories and Types for Sales Order Integration
-> In the customizing activity Define Transaction Types, you maintain the transaction types for accrual, redemption and buy points. For more information, see SAP Customizing Implementation guide  Customer Relationship Management  Transactions  Basic Settings  Define Transaction Types
    Note:
-> In the customizing activity Assign Product Hierarchy for Sales Order Integration, you register the product hierarchy if it is not the same as sales operation hierarchy. For more information, see SAP Customizing Implementation guide  Customer Relationship Management  Marketing  Loyalty Management  Channel Integration  Assign Product Hierarchy for Sales Order Integration This customizing will help you create reward rules based on product categories and process them during creation of member activity using sales order. -> In the customizing activity Determine Pricing Procedure, you maintain 29CRLM as the pricing procedure for loyalty transactions. For more information, see SAP Customizing Implementation guide  Customer Relationship Management  Marketing  Business Functions  Pricing  Pricing in the Business Transaction  Determine Pricing Procedure For more information please refer to the attachment and IMG Documentation.

  • Configuration Guide Cproject & Cfolders

    Hi Experts,
    Good Day !
Currently we are using SAP ECC 6.0 and want to implement cProjects/cFolders . I am looking for cFolders configuration guide which provides all the necessary details for cFolders set-up. (such as - how to create cFolders URL, System Connections u2013 setting up HTTP servers etc.. ).
Also I will be grateful if someone provides me a step-by-step procedure for cFolders implementation.
    Eagerly waiting for your reply.
    Thanks
    Mairaj

cProjects and cFolders form the cProjects Suite solution, although both products can also be used independently. cProjects Suite provides extensive features to collaborate internally/externally with partners using a HTML-like interface and Web application technology.
Difference:cProjects is a project management tool and provides associated functionalities and is web based and hence can be accesses externally in an organisation. It follows a stage gate methodology and has better resource management functions. cFolders is complimentary to cProjects and useful for collaboratively sharing of project related information, documentation.

  • CIC Configuration Guide

Does anyone know if there is a configuration guide for the Interaction Center?  I have the cookbook but that is basically for the BSP development of the WebClient.  I'm looking for the configuration steps for setting up the Interaction Center.

  • What is BDI or BDS spelled out? Jabber for Mac 9.2(1) Installation and Configuration Guide

I’m spending the day catching up on Jabber/IM&P release notes across the server/clients.
So I’m used to EDI and UDS, but we have a new acronym in the Jabber for Mac 9.2(1) Installation and Configuration Guide called BDI and BDS. However they don’t define what BDI stands for other than BDI is LDAP for non-windows
Clients and suggests it should be used for Jabber for Mac.
What is BDI or BDS spelled out? Something directory integration, but what is the B ?
Then to add to the mix they reference BDS which sounds like the old UDS (is UDS changing to BDS?)
How can Jabber get any more confusing…
I also noted in the  Jabber Video for iPad 9.3.4 release notes that Apple is removing the Always Connect option in the near future. Manually launching Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client before making a call. This is going to upset some customers who like how Lync uses https and just works from anywhere with enhanced directory integration…

Basic Directory Integration. It's not new, we had it in the Windows clients as far back as CUPC. The distinction got introduced when EDI was introduced, relying on Windows ADSI APIs instead of the client making a native LDAP bind.
To my knowledge BDI/BDS are the same thing; I'm guessing S is 'service'. UDS remains unchanged.
I also noted in the  Jabber Video for iPad 9.3.4 release notes that Apple is removing the Always Connect option in the near future.
Well, they lost a patent infringement lawsuit and chose to change the functionality instead of pay the troll. That's not Jabber's fault. Collaboration Edge will be the way to avoid this in the near future.

  • Several errors during system preparation / basic configuration

    Hello,
during the basic configuration I get stuck in the process step configure automatically -> setup bw.
In the slg1 I can see several errors where I don't know if they are related to my bw problem or other probleme. Maybe someone can give me a hint how to solve the issue.
    @5C\QError@     2011/11/10 16:58:07 : DIAGTPL/CONFIG/HANDLER=CL_DIAGLS_ABAP_INST_TECH_SY Item does not exist
@5C\QError@     Product system DUM has no active standalone product version     @35\QLong text exists@
@5C\QError@     No detected product instances available for technical system C21     @35\QLong text exists@
in the Solman_setup I have the problem that
ESR: Extractor setup is not sucessful!
Cube 0SM_BPMRH is not active and will now be activated automatically
    System status failed for system
Could someone please help me to solve some of the problems?
    Thanks a lot, Vanessa

    Hello Vanessa,
I wouldn't recommend looking at SLG1 at all times and try to find solutions for it, since Solution Manager deals with a huge landscape and in most cases some warning is thrown in the logs for any reason.
For example, the "CL_DIAGLS_ABAP_INST_TECH_SY Item does not exist" and "no active standalone product version @35\QLong text exists@" can be due to systems coming from SLD to the LMDB with no correct definition. If SLD is not passing this information, it is 99% because the system is not well defined there. Hence it is just a warning.
Now if you see something in SLG1 and indeed you have issues in this diagnostics system, it must be investigated.
    For your BI problem:
Please execute the steps as described in section "3.2.1 Activation of
Info Cube from BI Content" in the Setup BPA Guide.

    p_Guide_BP_Analytics.pdf)
Furthermore, I strongly recommend that, for Solution Manager 7.1, you make sure you have the latest SP in ABAP and JAVA. Now we are at ST400 SP03  and LM-SERVICE SP03 patch level 1.
You must not forward to the next steps if you have a step yellow, red or with Update checked.
    Best regards,
    Guilherme
