Battery of my Iphone 5 does not charge.

Dear all,
charger, sockets, USB cable checked ( no pollution) even resets did not help.
When switching the main display flickers and shows for 2 sec
battery symbol (empty and small red line for exhaust battery)
Has anybody the same problem. thanks for any help.

Si, pude solucionarlo hace unos dias, al final me arriesgue y compre el "dock connector", un juego de destornilladores para iPhone 4, lo desarme y lo cambie, y al toque empezo a cargar.
No queria esperar semanas para el repuesto de iFixit asi que lo compre en MercadoLibre, estan 160 mangos, y si no te queres arriesgar a desarmarlo y cambiarlo vos, hay algunos que te hacen la instalacion tambien.
Pero primero averigua bien que tengas el mismo problema que yo, o sea el dock connector sirve para lo q describi arriba. Si tenes otro sintoma te recomiendo que investigues porque capaz es otra cosa y terminas gastando un repuesto al pedo.

My iphone 5 is not charging any longer, well there must be a bad contact or something, because it works about 50% of the time.
Thinking it was my old charger, I bought a new one, and I still have the same problem, plus sometimes it says it's not an official product so it doesn't charge.
I've had the iphone for one year exactly, and I'd rather not buy another charger if it's going to be useless...

My iphone ran out of battery a few days ago, and now it will not charge back up. Its been plugged in for over a day, when the home button is pressed it displays a battery with 3 small red bars. I was able to get it into recovery mode and restore factory settings - but this did not solve the problem! it is still not turning on. I have tried changing chargers etc. already and i believe it is a problem with the phone. please help!

Could be a battery problem. You'll have to visit an Authorized Apple Service Provider to Apple Store to get it checked for hardware issues.

Iphone 5 does not charge via USB laptop in sleep

I hook my iPhone 5 up to my Lenovo G570 laptop. When the laptop is not sleeping, the iPhone charges just fine.
When the laptop sleeps, the iPhone no longer charges.
BUT.... The USB port on the laptop powers and charges other USB devices just fine, even when asleep.
ONLY the iPhone 5 stops charging when the laptop sleeps.
Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
(When I travel, its nice to be able to charge my iPhone *without* having to actually wake up the laptop)

Connect the device directly to a USB port on your computer (not an external keyboard) using the USB cable that came with the device. Your computer must be turned on and not in sleep or standby mode; otherwise, the battery may drain instead of charge.If using a portable computer, make sure it is plugged in to power and that the display (or lid) is open. If the display is closed, the computer may go into standby, sleep, or hibernation mode and the device may not charge.
*** Unless you have a Chinese iPhone. They DO charge when laptops are asleep, apparently. Go figure.

My laptop works perfectly fine on the battery but when I plug in the charger, it says "Plugged in, charging" but the battery does NOT get charged. 1. How do I perform a hard reset of the BIOS on this laptop?
2. The battery does not even charge when the laptop is switched off. Which makes me think that it might not be a BIOS issue because when the laptop is off, the battery should charge on A/C power right?
3. The battery charging LED does turn "orange" which means it is charging... but the battery doesn't get charged. Furthermore, until 2 days ago the battery was still lasting at least 2-3 hours on a full charge. Do you think that the issue is not with the battery but maybe the charging circuit in the motherboard has malfunctioned?

IPhone 4 does not charge, or turn on.

My brother gave me his iPhone 4. He told me it has power issues but it don't turn on, it does not take a charge. I've seen videos and post about people and there iPhone 4 has the "Blank Screen of Death". I cannot reboot the iPhone 4. I'm sure you have to do something like hold the power button and the home button but it don't work. Can someone tell me how exactly how to do this because it's very confusing. The iPhone 4 was last turned on last month but it just shut off and stopped working and stopped charging. I need someone to tell me how to resolve this because I don't have time to go into a Apple Store or AT&T Store. I'm barrowing a charger from a friend and it is a Belkin iPod/iPhone Charger. This happened with my 3GS. What I did is master default it, to do that hold down the lock screen key and the home key at the same time. The little apple symbol should pop up. For some reason, it just shut itself off and wouldn't do anything. Holding down both, from what I understand, kind of resets it without deleting anything. It worked with mine, I hope this helps with yours!

IPhone 4 does not charge

It's been two days that I've been trying to charge my iPhone using the adapter charger that came with the phone but getting the battery more percentage, it's going the opposite way. I have done all possible attempts to fix it: cleaning and removing the lint from iPhone docking charge adapter, shutting down the iPhone and turning it back on with the charger attached, resetting the iPhone and it's contents... All invain.
I'm thinking now that the battery might be dead. Can anyone give me any suggestion what else can be done?

I have an iPhone 4 and wanted to charge it with USB on my new company laptop but it didn't charge. (Lenovo)
So I tried the same iPhone with the same cable on a different laptop and it does charge.
Ok, so it sounds like the issue is on the laptop side BUT when I use another iPhone 4 from a coworker with my cable it charges on my new company laptop????
You guys have an idea what this can be?

Just got the new Imac Retina - and my iphone 5S wont charge when I connect it!? It charges just fine elsewhere - and it syncs fine with the Imac using wifi as well.

So I have had my iphone 4 for about a year. Everything has been working fine. Last night I woke up in the middle of the night, I turned on my phone to check the time only to see the battery logo on my screen with the plug pointing to the little lightning bolt. I immediately tried changed the charger and tried charging it. No luck. My iPhone 3GS does not charge with any device. It suddenly won't even be recognized by Windows (Code 52 error) and it won't charge. It seems to boot if a charger if plugged in.

I have a brand new MAC Book which I purchased in November and I am having problems. I already had to get the RAM replaced before I came to Italy to study abroad.
Here is my problem:
I returned from a one week break to find my computer totally dead on my desk. I didn't fully shut the computer down before I left. When I went to turn it on (eight days later) I couldn't using the power button so I plugged in the power source. When I plugged in the power source the power monitor remained "green" which indicates "fully powered" and the icon on the top right hand corner shows plugged in and "O%" charge. If I unplug the power the computer shuts off completely.
I have taken off the battery for 12 hours and put it back in and nothing changed.
I did the turn off the computer disconnected the power and removed the battery hold down the power button for five seconds and replaced the battery and reconnected the power source and nothing.
I checked the battery by pressing the button and the lights don't even indicate it has any charge so it is completely dead.
I finally went into system profiler and this is what it reads:

If that doesn't help, the info you posted shows that the cycle count is below 300 and this could be an indication that this is a hardware problem. If there is an Apple Store in your area, have it check there. They can give you a new battery for free since this is still within warranty.

My Ipad battery does not charge

Hope some of you can help me out. My IPad battery gone flat and it does not charge. I tried different sockets, different chargers, tried to plug in to pc and charge it but to no avail. Could be that it needs new battery? I this Ipad for 2 years now.

Could be the charger, cable or iPad. Plug the USB cable into your computer. It may say "Not Charging", however, it is charging slowly and will verify that the cable is good.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
