BC4J JBO errors over-ride

We want to catch our JBO exceptions using folowing method
package be.iadvise.apps.serverinventory.model.messages;
import java.util.ListResourceBundle;
public class MessageBundleExceptions extends ListResourceBundle
private static final Object[][] sMessageStrings = new String[][] {
{"25002", "Could not start the application. Call helpdesk."},
{"26048", "Application cannot connect to database."},
{"26061", "Application cannot connect to database."},
{"27008", "Application cannot connect to database."},
{"27122", "Application error, log a support ticket."}
* Return String Identifiers and corresponding Messages in a two-dimensional array.
* @return
protected Object[][] getContents()
return sMessageStrings;
We have found this method in a pdf
http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/htdocs/bc4j/BusinessRulesInBc4j.pdf
in the toystory demo this method is also used.
We still get our JBO exceptions and not our custom messages.
What did we forget to implement?
greeting

    If you have American Express, your 4-digit security code is on the front. If you have VISA or MasterCard, your 3-digit security code is outside the signature block on the back of your credit card. It happens to me also.

  • Hide JBO error messages

    Hi
    I want to hide an error message with the code JBO-33035
    How can I do this? Hiding the message box does not work because this time the other error messages will not be shown either. Is there a way to only hide the messages we want.
    I would be grateful if anyone helped

  • Bc4j: Application Error

    Thanks for your great effort in bc4j and the samples in JDeveloper 3.1.1.2
    When I run the ?Business Components for Java Auctions Sample Web Application? sample and try to bid with low value I got the message:
    Application Error
    JBO Error:JBO-27011: Attribute set with value 5.00 for BidPrice in Bids failed
    You must submit a bid which is higher than the current bid price!
    I clicked the button to go back and bid with hi value but this time I got more INTERESTING message:
    Application Error
    JBO Error:JBO-27102: Attempt to access dead view row
    Can any one tell me the cause? and how to fix it?
    Is there any resource with JBO-xxxxx error codes like Oracle Errors?

    This was a bug in business components JSPs (bug number 1259308); it's been fixed for JDeveloper 3.2.
    Also new in 3.2, JBO error messages are documented.

  • Over ride default user log in?

    Hello,
    in the nutshell, I'm currently running 10.8.3 and am wondering if theres a key to press that will "over ride" the default log in user.
    My set up is that the mac automatically signs on to the family profile, then i sign out and sign into mine. I chose this set up for my rather technically challenged parents. I would like to be able to press a key or simple combination so that it shows the sign on screen and the user can choose who to sign on. I do feel comfortable using terminal if that does make a difference.
    Thanks in advance.

    Open the Users & Groups or Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences and turn off automatic login.

  • Can I over-ride the default setting in Organizer to allow sorting photos by filename ?

    I am converting slides from the 1970's and 80's to digital files and using PSE 8 to Organize them but it is important to me that they stay in the order of the file name I give them and NOT "Date: newest first or last" because it would seem that PSE, in the absence of metafile information, uses the date and time I uploaded the file to the Organizer as the "Date:".  ACDSee has a much more sensible arrangement in giving me full control of how my photos are sorted.  I am being driven to using ACDSee as the organizer and PSE as the photo editor, a not very convenient arrangement.  So my question is, "Can I over-ride the default setting in Organizer to allow sorting photos by filename ?"

    The type of file system that you're trying to set up, is actually done better by creating you own file heirarchy in Windows, and then viewing by import batch.  For example; you might create a top level folder "My Slide Scans", then perhaps, "My son John". So, the scans of john all go in the same folder, you import the folder in one batch, and you're where you want to be.
    That said, PSE will fight you at every turn to do this, since with the scanner hooked up with PSE, PSE is going to want to store your photos in "scanned photos" and import them as you scan them.
    I woud suggest this.  After the scan and import, use PSE to move the photos to their final destination folder, say " Hawaii 1994", and create a tag of the same name". Then when you're done scanning photos of this event, use the tag to view all the scans at once. Then, delete all the photos from the organizer. (Yeah, sounds radical I know). Take heart! All you've gotta do then is to reimport the whole folder. All the same name photos will be in one import batch. And with all the photos of any given topic in one folder, you'll be able to also use Windows Explorer in any number of modes to view the photos outside PSE.
    Keep in mind you can rename batchs of photos by selecting them, or by import batch or even tag, then "Ctrl. > Shift > N" will bring up the name change dialog box.
    This technique is quite contensious, but, it makes a whole lot more sense than storing all your photos in the "My Photos" folder on the "C:/" drive where any viral or malware hiccup might cause the necessity of a reformat, which could cause the loss of years of work.
    If a name search is a priority, that would be "Ctrl ."Shift" > "K" then type in whatever your heart desires.
    Caution: Before attempting a delete/ reimport manuver, Alway, always, write the tag and file info to the photo. "File" >"Write Tag and Properties Info to File".
    I always am quite adamantine about suggesting that you do NOT use the same physical HDD that contains Windows to store your photos, that's just asking for trouble. HDDs are quite cheap nowadays, and they're worth every penny in piece of mind. Plus to use a storage ("Volume") drive, you have to create your own file heirarchy anyway, so that leads right back to the beginning of this discussion.

  • Replacing JBO error messages with Struts error messages

    I would like to display Struts error messages on an HTML form instead of the JBO error messages when a user submits a form with data entry error. Has anybody done that? Do I need to extend the DataForwardAction class and write JAVA code to do it or is there a more elegant way?

    Could someone please answer this? As I understand, Steve Meunch says: "our prescriptive architecture's best practice is to implement all validation in your entities" but this is talking more about rules, I think, than about error messages that are customized to specific pages and fields.
    Thanks,
    Jeff

  • Over-ride concurrent prog noprint option with printer used in CheckPrinting

    I would need to give a little bit of back ground on the Check printing process that we follow to explain my issue.
    Check printing is done by 2 departments - AP and Treasury. AP selects invoices and runs the payments process while Treasury prints the check and confirms the payment.
    Now the issue is when AP submits the payment process, the 'Format Payment Instructions' request gets submitted. Now the users in our AP department have their printer profile set to a default printer and copies set to 1. So for every concurrent request that they submit, the output is printed to this default printer. This has been working fine so far and also works for other requests submitted by the PPR. But the 'Format Payment Instructions' request has the check file in the output which gets printed in the printer from their profile option.
    If the printer option is unchecked or default printer is set to noprint in the concurrent program definition of 'Format Payment Instructions' program, the check does not print at all. Even when the treasury submits the check for printing by selecting the printer. It does not work.
    Is there anyway we could get the printing of checks by Treasury over ride the concurrent program definition or supress printing of checks by the 'Format Payment Instructions' program while being submitted by AP responsibility.
    Any ideas/help on this would be great as we are going live with the upgrade now and would really need to address this issue.
    Thanks!

  • How do I over-ride the DETERMING GAPLESS PLAYBACK process

    I am so frustrated! Everytime I put music on my 30G iPod, iTunes begins this lengthy process of processing EVERY SONG in my library and determining it's gapless playback. Is there a way that I can over-ride this painstaking process? I have gone to preferences and dealt with the crossfade options, but nothing will stop it. It makes my computer run terribly slow and when I opt to quit iTunes it tells me "your iPod is updating, if you quit now the updates will not be saved" and the process will start all over.
    Desperate.

    If you just let it finish, it won't do it again. Depending on the size of your library, it may take a few hours, or longer.

  • How can I over ride the combination code to access the volume limit?

    I want to increase my volume limit but there is a combination lock that shows up and I dont know what the code is! Is there some way I can over ride this and increase my volume limit? It's hard to hear any music.

    The only way to bypass the volume limit passcode is to restore the device to factory settings in iTunes.
