BC4JToyStore.jws: "Your shopping cart is empty."

Is anyone else getting this error -- does anyone know the fix?
BC4JToyStore.jws: "Your shopping cart is empty.", Non working shopping cart "Check Out" functionality.
I have downloaded and setup the BC4J Toy Store demo -- also completed JUnit testing (zero errors).
When user chooses a product and clicks "Add to Cart" followed by Proceed to Checkout", the application fails (the message "Your shopping cart is empty" appears). I logged in as "j2ee" (w/pw "j2ee").
I'm using Jdeveloper version 9.0.4.0.0 (build 1347)
w/Business Components Version 9.0.4.13.4
on Windows 2000 Professional w/ Java version 1.4.1_05
Also, when I rebuilt BC4JToyStore.jws, I get the following warning;
"Warning(38,33): variable LOCALE_KEY in class org.apache.struts.action.Action has been deprecated"
In ToyStoreRequestProcessor.java, I changed the line;
"session.setAttribute(Action.LOCALE_KEY, null)"
to;
"session.setAttribute(Globals.LOCALE_KEY , null)"

I wanted to let you know the good news that the problems I had been having with BC4J /JDev have resolved themselves.
You may recall that on my machine (IBM ThinkPad running Win2K and JDev 9.0.3.3), I was unable to “commit” a record from a JSP -- if the JSP was build in JDev using BC4J. Also, the BC4J DataNavagate Scrollbar would not work for me.
When I tested these issues on Oracle’s machine in your lab/classroom there in Belmont, they all worked fine.
Sunday, I tried demonstrating my troubles with JDev/BC4J to my spouse -- and, surprise, everything I previously had had problems with, now worked fine! The problems I had had with the BC4JToyStore website demo application example also disappeared.
This morning I tested the Practice14 solution JPR (JSPClientSoln.jpr), everything now works on my machine -- just as they did on your machines in Oracle’s classroom.
I’m trying to think of what I have done that could have changed the system/development environment on my machine.
I really have no firm idea, but my best guess is that I recently removed some obsolete Java SDKs and J2EES.
Needless to say, I now have a much better attitude about the JDev/BC4J product.

  • Your shopping cart's contents have changed

    Everytime I try an purchase songs in my shopping cart I get the message "Your shopping cart's contents have changed - Either the prices or some of the items have changed, or items have been added or removed from another computer. Please review your shopping cart and click buy now"
    I then press refresh, then buy now, and it all starts from the beginning again with the error message.
    I have tries removing all items from my cart, restarting itunes, then putting a different song in, and I still get this message.
    I guess I will just have to by my music from elsewhere, as Itunes does not wish me to buy it from them?

    I have been having the exact same problem for several days now - ever since I upgraded to 7.3.1. I get the same message about the cart's contents changing, and I've tried emptying the cart and adding everything again. I've also tried changing my preferences to "buy using 1-click" and back again. I only use one computer for all my purchasing/playing. Finally emailed Apple about it and quoted the error message, but I have yet to hear anything. I was just glad to finally find another person with this same problem! The only thing I can think is that the program is getting confused because of the price difference for the enhanced iTunes Plus content, but I've never enabled that option and I'm just using the .99 versions.
    Anyway, I'm in the same boat! I'll post again if I get an answer from Apple on this. Somehow I get the feeling that they've got their hands full with all the other errors that came with the 7.3.1 update...stupid iPhone is ruining everything!

  • Get your shopping cart back

    OK everyone. I have the answer. Itunes 9 doesn't have the function of buying all.
    You'll need to go back to the previous itunes 8. I downloaded mine from here.
    ww.mydigitallife.info/2009/06/28/apple-itunes-8-2-and-quicktime-7-6-2-direct-dow nload-links/
    Then it will say your library is not able to be read because it was created by a newer version of itunes.
    Just go to the folder "previous itunes libraries" pick the latest one from before you upgraded. and rename it to "itunes libraries.itl" replace the file with the same name in itunes 9 with this one and you'll get your shopping cart back.
    Personally I convert every itunes song to mp3 with a media converter to avoid losing songs if itunes ever does something stupid like this.
    Hope that helps

  • "Your Shopping Cart's Contents Have Changed" and unable to buy

    I'm having a similar problem to what others have reported, but with a symptom I haven't seen mentioned. When I attempt to purchase the albums in the cart an alert is raised saying that, "Your Shopping Cart's Contents Have Changed". My cart isn't being updated from another computer, I can assure you.
    I deleted all items from the cart and readded them. That didn't help.
    I've successfully bought a lot of music through iTMS but over the last couple of days this problem has appeared. Very annoying.

    It may be that Apple is in discussions with that label/artist in about use. If that is the case one of the songs or the whole cd is not purchaseable but still listed in iTMS. I had it happen with me.

  • Your Shopping cart's contents have changed Message

    I've added things to my shopping cart and have been trying to purchase them and keep getting this error message with the above title:
    "Either the prices of some items have changed or items have been added or removed from another computer. Please review your shopping card and calick Buy Now"
    Then there is a Refresh button. Checked the cart, hit the refresh button and still keep getting the same message.
    Nothing has changed on this computer since Friday, when I purchased some items just fine.
    Any help or suggestions as how to fix this silly problem would be appreciated.

    A price might have changed. If something was from free download list that is not free anymore this might happen. I forget what day the free downloads list changes.

    Could somebody please tell what to do about this Pop Up
    It won't let me make a purchase.
    P.s. I have pressed refresh,but i just comes up with an error message.

    Try iTunes > Edit > Preferences > Store
    change to one-click
    Don't worry, it won't buy anything automatically.
    Save it, close iTunes, open iTUnes back up and change it back to shopping cart.

    When you insert products, the Product object itself is the element you use.
    public void addProduct(Product i){
         products.addElement(i);
    }But when you remove the product, you use the ID of the product as the element.
    products.removeElement(product.id);That doesn't seem right, now does it?

  • "View shopping cart" at Check out page link info is wrong..

    will not go back to the original shopping cart, will go to the page "cart is empty".
    So check out page inside secure zone will not go out of secure page which is original shopping cart page.
    Browser back button will work properlly.
    Doe it control by {module_shoppingcartsummary}?

    1. Add to the product to the shopping cart.
    2. press "Check out" button which will go to Check out page that you can fill
    all informations, your name, shipping address, card info.
    there is the "view cart" butom suppose to go back to the shopping cart.
    3. will go to the page, "your shopping cart is empty"
    I checked all the HTML, modules and tags.
    It seem to be controlled by {module_shoppingcartsummary}??
    Shopping cart address:
    http://www.beelinecompany.com/OrderRetrievev2.aspx?CatalogueID=192950
    checkout page address:
    https://beecopy.worldsecuresystems.com/OrderRetrievev2.aspx?Step=13&CartID=1abd735a-7127-4 7fe-9142-ee3c60342315&CheckOut=1&ASESSID=4292d714-b7d3-4227-b8ee-2c1f53170fd8&ANONID=4292d 714-b7d3-4227-b8ee-2c1f53170fd8&VISID=1b1949f6-4b17-426c-9322-51f85430ebf0%23www.beelineco mpany.com%2309.12.2012+19%3a34%3a55.384&VID=28922712&VSV=&SelectedRateKey=-100075484
    When I press "view cart" above page, will direct to the following page, cart is empty:
    http://beecopy.businesscatalyst.com/OrderRetrievev2.aspx?CatalogueID=0

  • Customize "Continue Shopping" URL in empty cart

    How do I customize the "continue shopping" URL. This would be after the shopping cart is emptied.
    Also, is there a way to customize the empty shopping cart page? Right now, its just a link on  an empty page. For exmaple, go here: http://dataimpressionsebeam.businesscatalyst.com/ add a product to the cart. Then clear the cart.

    Upon clearing your cart, you will go to the Shopping Cart empty page (currently there is no template associated) but as what Liam said, You can only edit this via CSS or Javascript. So if you look into the HTML file of the Cart empty page, you will see this:
    <div id="catCartDetails"><a href="/test-1" class="cartLink" target="_top">Shopping cart is empty. Continue Shopping.</a></div>
    What you can do is create a CSS style for
    #catCartDetails a { }
    You can also do a Javascript to change the text using the div id="catCartDetails"

  • Shopping cart empty

    Hi,
    I have setup payment gateway and my hosting product/packages on this page:
    http://www.mardenwebdesign.com/pricing
    problem is when you click signup button - the shopping cart is empty.
    I would like my product page to work like Simple flame example:
    http://www.simpleflame.com/business-catalyst-hosting
    One click on each product adds product to shopping cart automatically.
    How can i get my page to work like this?
    ---here is example code---
            webBasics        $29.99/mo
    Content Management
    Site Analytics
    Web Forms
    Social Media Sharing
    Phone/Tablet Support
    FTP and File Manager

    Hey,
    The problem is the "Signup" button styling is applied using the "addtocart" class - http://screencast.com/t/p9Ft3Thv
    If you want to restyle the button you can go 2 ways:
    -either get a new image that says "Buy now" instead of http://www.mardenwebdesign.com/img/btn-hosting-signup2.png
    -remove the addtocart class from the button and it will end up looking like this - http://screencast.com/t/VdERTxscIHuu

  • Tried to purchase songs in shopping cart - songs deleted

    So I've been researching and fine tuning the 85+ songs in my cart for the last two weeks. I finally decide that I'm ready to purchase them. when I click on "buy now" it said "puchasing songs" at the top for about a minute, then gave an error:
    "One or more of the songs in your cart is no longer availible. Please review..."
    So I clicked the "refresh" button in the error dialog, which took me back to my cart. It looked as though one of 86 songs had been deleted. So I decided to try to purchase the rest, and when I did, it said my shopping cart was empty, and suddenly all of my music dissapeared.
    I've spent countless hours finding all that music, and I would appreciate it if there was a way I could somehow recover the list. I have no record of it myself, and would be unable to regenerate it.

    Alot of people have issues using the shopping cart. Most of these errors are caused when something is added, then later apple Move the song to a different location in its store, Edits the song, completely removes it from the store ect ect.
    I personally recommend using the one click feature and creating a "Wish List". This will stop any errors from happening AND provide you with a list of songs you found and like. more about a wish list can be found here http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107961
    Far as recovering your list, I doubt you can, but you can try emailing apple music store about it and maybe run into some luck. http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/musicstore/email
