    created by chris.campbell in Using Flash Player - View the full discussionHi Luetta,I think the confusion here is that you are seeing a message that was meant for Flash Player developers, and Namisha assumed you were debugging your own flash code. If you are simply trying to use Flash Player, we'll need to uninstall the debug version of Flash and install the regular version instead.  Assuming you are on Windows, here are the steps required: 1.  Uninstall Flash Player by downloading and running this program:  http://download.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/support/uninstall_flash_player.exe 2. Once uninstalled, open your web browser and navigate to: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer 3. Walk through the steps on that web page to get the right version of Flash Player installed  Once you have the normal version of Flash installed, you will no longer see these error messages. If you continue to have problems, please email me at [email protected] and we can do a quick desktop sharing session so I can help you out. Thanks,Chris If the reply above answers your question, please take a moment to mark this answer as correct by visiting: https://forums.adobe.com/message/7503430#7503430 and clicking ‘Correct’ below the answer Replies to this message go to everyone subscribed to this thread, not directly to the person who posted the message. • Invalid Bitmap Data error when Flex tries to play a Crossfade transition?

    Hi All,
    I've got a Grid like this in my Flex 4 app.  When the view that contains this Grid is visible, and the view is changed to another view, my application tries to play the Crossfade effect as the transition to the other view.  My transition is defined like this:
         <s:transitions>
              <s:Transition fromState="*" toState="*">
                   <s:Parallel>
                        <s:CrossFade duration="150" target="{this}" />
                   </s:Parallel>
              </s:Transition>
         </s:transitions>
    This applies the transition to any view.  There's only one effect in there at the moment but it's in a Parallel block since I've experimented with multiple transitions.
    Now, when I'm on a view where this Grid is visible, and I try to transition to another view, I get an "Invalid BitmapData" error.  HEre's the complete stack trace:

    Here's what the grid looks like.  I experimented with adding and removing controls from the grid, and eventually narrowed it down to a a VGroup I've got in the grid.  If I remove that VGroup (and all it's children), the transition plays fine.  Add it back in, and everything blows up again.  I tried using a VBox instead of a VGroup, but there was no change--same error.  I also tried getting rid of horizontalAlign="center", and again, no change.

    So, what's going on?  How can I get this transition to work?  Thanks!

    Sometimes that can happen if something gets sized too small.
    Thanks for suggesting that.  It got me thinking about some other things, and I then realized that the Grid itself was in a container with TileLayout, and a requestedColumnCount of 5.  That was a mistake--I had initially been playing with the TileLayout for my "grid" but then switched to using an actual mx:Grid control, and should have gotten rid of the TileLayout with the requestedColumnCount of 5.
    I changed my layout object to an instance of VerticalLayout, and now the problem has gone away.
    My theory, based on your suggestion that something might be sized "too small," is that when I added enough controls to my Grid (which all appeared in tile 1), tiles 2 through 5 got "too small" and thus Invalid BitmapData errors were thrown when the transition tried to figure out what bitmaps to fade in/out.
    Sound reasonable?
    Now I just have to re-enable all the other controls that I disabled while trying to hunt down this problem, and hopefully the Invalid BitmapData error won't recur.

  • Invalid bitmap data from drawing

    Hey guys, this is my codes:
    private function loaderComplete(event:Event):void
    graphics.clear();
    var loaderInfo:LoaderInfo = LoaderInfo(event.target);
    bitmapData = new BitmapData(loaderInfo.width, loaderInfo.height);
    bitmapData.draw(loaderInfo.loader);
    graphics.beginFill(data.color);
    graphics.beginBitmapFill(bitmapData);
    graphics.drawRect(0,0,loaderInfo.loader.width,loaderInfo.loader.height);
    graphics.endFill();
    And I encounter this error: ArgumentError: Error #2015: Invalid BitmapData.
    Is there anything I miss out or something like that?

    What are you loading?
    Check the properties on the BitmapData.

  • ERROR: Error in getting session data: Invalid or Expired Session

    Hi,
    We are using ssrs 2008 r2 and have a report which has links that allow the user to drill down.

    Any ideas how this can be resolved?

    Hi Nasa1999,
    Based on your error message, If the all the users will sometimes got the same issue, it can be caused by the timeout issue. It happens a lot when rendering big report, and it exceeds the default Session Timeout. You can execute script
    to increase the Session Timeout time. Please refer to following blog:
    Session Timeout during execution. Also increase the value of <Query Timeout> in rsreportserver.config file. This file locate at XX:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer
    Please also check to set the <legacyImpersonationPolicy> back to true(https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/972328).
    Locate the Aspnet.config file in the following folder:
     %windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727
    If Microsoft Visual Studio is installed on the computer that is running SQL Server 2005, double-click
    Aspnet.config. If Visual Studio is not installed on the computer, follow these steps:
            a. Right-click Aspnet.config, point to
    Open with, and then click Choose program.
            b. In the Programs list, click
    Notepad, and then click OK.
    Locate the following tag in the <runtime> section of the code.
            <legacyImpersonationPolicy enabled="false"/>
    Change the tag to:
            <legacyImpersonationPolicy enabled="true"/>
    Save the Aspnet.config file.
    Reset IIS.
    Try your report again.

  • Invalid BitmapData Error #2015

    I'm getting an Invalid BitmapData Error #2015 at
    flash.display::BitmapData$iinit() that points to the line
    of code below where a BitmapData object is created.
    I am using this function to create only a few hundred
    Item objects, each of which is only 166 px by 96 px in
    size so I don't believe that the problem has to do with
    running out of memory. I also used system.totalMemory
    to trace memory consumption but it showed that only
    a few tens of megabytes were used when the error occurred.
    I have tried setting the BitmapData and Bitmap
    objects to null because that was a solution I found on another
    site. That didn't work. I tried dispose(). The error
    occurs intermittently, sometimes after running my app a few
    times and sometimes when I first load it. I am not
    refreshing my browser over and over in order to run the app.
    I cannot figure out the exact sequence of events that
    leads to this error. In earlier versions of my app, I was able to
    successfully use the exact same function (minus
    the lines where the BitmapData and Bitmap objects are set to
    null). I am not an expert at Actionscript, so perhaps
    I'm doing something wrong. Please help me out. Thanks.

    new BitmapData (item.card.mcImage.width, item.card.mcImage.height);
    2) If that doesn't work, try it with just a single pixel
    new BitmapData(1,1);
    3) Check to see if the movieClip has been resized or transformed.
    4) Make sure the MovieClip is at 0,0 registration
    5) Try setting the alpha value to false and see if it captures a black rectangle
    new BitmapData(166,96,false);
    If it doesn't throw an error, and returns a black rectangle, it means there were no pixels for it to capture.
    6) Substitute the item.card.mcImage with a different MovieClip.
    7) And lastly, try to comment out code that comes before to see if it's something else that's causing the error.  Sometimes the error is being thrown for entirely different reasons than it says, but AS gets confused.

    Hi
    You probably deleted some members from outline that are used by report
    I would recommend you to open you report/grid via rep.client and try to find which elements are abcent

    Any adivice?

    If i am using 11G andrtp is 11g but on rtp side if they configure SSL, is it mandatory to do it from our side also?No it not mandatory to enable SSL at your end however you have to configure identity and trsut at your end.
    Any update on my regular question(The main forum question)?You mentioned that you are posting message from 10g to 11g and as per log you are sending it to URL - https://dev-nog.server:443/b2b/transportServlet
    So few things which I see as a problem are-
    1. You should use URL https://hostname:soa_server_ssl_port/b2b/httpReceiver instead of https://dev-nog.server:443/b2b/transportServlet
    2. SOA server SSL port should be enabled (SSL should be enabled on SOA server)
    3. You should configure wallet at 10g side to contain trust cert of 11g server

  • ISE 1.2 change account duration - invalid account date error

    When I tried to extend the duration of some accounts to july 2014 on my ISE 1.2 I got the invalid account date error. When I tried to extend the user to the 5th of february it worked. I  couldn't go further thant that date although I can select a date 365 days away from now.
    Is there a limitation when you want to change the account duration?
    Regards,
    Mathieu

    Hi Mathieu,
    Probably you are hitting this defect
    CSCum10047.
    This will be addressed in upcoming releases mostly in ISE 1.2.0. 899 Patch 7 which is tentatively scheduled to be released at the end of February .

  • HT4489 "Invalid contact data" error BB to iOS7 import.  Suggestions?  Thank you.

    Hello, thanks for taking a look at this.  I am attempting to import my contacts from my Blackberry 9670 running version 6 to my iPhone 5s running iOS 7.0.3, and I get the following error: "Unable to import vCard.  This vCard cannot be imported because it contains invalid contact data."  I am backing up only contact information from my Blackberry, and there are only 1100 contacts, well under the limits.  Your suggestions would be appreciated.  Thank you.

    See the attached step-by-step, very specific, detailed instruction, just as you've asked.
    http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB17022
    At Step 6, you will chose "One Way Sync FROM Device"
    You follow the remainder of the steps as outlined.
    After completed, you will return to your Sync setup as in Step 6 again and set that to Two Way Sync.
    Set the conflict settings as you prefer:
    Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager, and click on Synchronize.
    Select Configure PIM.
    Select the application whose settings you wish to change (for example, the Address Book application).
    Select the Configure tab.
    Select Advanced Settings.
    Select Confilct Resolution, and select the option Handheld Wins, or which you desire to be.
    I choose Let me decide because I too, like you, enter data on both the handheld and in Outlook and want to be able to tell the sync which data is correct according to my desires.
    Good luck.

    If your startup disk says it is full, you need to remove some of your stuff.
    Either move some documents/movies/pictures to an external drive (if you want to keep them), or delete them from your startup drive. Then, empty the Trash.
    If you move them to an external, you will still have to delete them from the internal drive.
    That won't fix Office (I don't think), but it will make everything run better. You need a minimum of 10GB free (more would be better).
    You might need to reinstall Office. It should work without problem (well, at least as little problem as Office can muster).

  • Invalid compressed data--crc error (RHEL ES 3.0)

    Hi,
    i have downloaded from the Oracle Server these archive: ship.db.lnx32.cpio.gz
    in order to install Oracle Database 10g Release 1 (10.1.0.3) on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (ES) 3.0 server, but when i tried to uncompress (with gunzip) the archive ship.db.lnx32.cpio.gz, i receive these error: "invalid compressed data--crc error".
    so, please can you tell me what is the problem exactly. because, i have downloaded four times !!! but the problem didn't change.
    Thanks

    This is what I got when I ran cksum:
    $ chsum ship.db.lnx32.cpio.gz
    405751305 649170233 ship.db.lnx32.cpio.gz
    as you can see it does not equal 1778052285, so does that mean I have to dl keep downloading the file till i get the correct cksum?
    This is just a dev system so it has only 32MB, is that a problem? Do I have to have 256MB?
    Thanks.
