Bdoc BUS_TRANS_MSG

Hi All
Have a problem with huge amounts of BUS_TRANS_MSG how can i find out in what state they are?
I have manged to see that they have a flow context of M01and hence should be performing these

We handle all our orders in CRM no replication to ECC only for the finance parts, invoicing is done in CRM. So most of them should be internal Bdocs...
Q1 But how do I know which one of these have been done and not done?
Q2 How do I know why they have been triggrered and if i can resend them?
Q3 How can I retrigger them? FYI, resending them through SMW01 doesn't work...
Q4 Do they contain all info in the CRMdocument so if I do a dummy change after I have managed take the distribution lock away I can just retrigger them?

what i understand from your post is the BDoc is not getting trigeered.
So for that a number of BADI implementations needs to be active which are:
BADI :                                  CRM_BUS20001_R3A
Implementations to be active: CRM_SERVCONF_R3A
                                            CRM_SRV_MVT_R3A
                                            CRM_SRV_RESERV_R3A
Kindly check these implementations which should be active to upload nad trigger Bdoc fro data transfer.

not easy: there is no direct link between the segments and the tables for extended bdoc structures.
The easiest way that I know if is by checking out the fuctions that process the bdoc and follow the structures down to the API: most of the times there you can find an indication of the tables involved.

BDOC - BUS_TRANS_MSG error in SMQ2 and SMW01

*When checked the Inbound queue (SMQ2) in CRM it shows this error for one sales order

*then when I check the error in SMW01 it shows this..* Error code is F05 in SMW01

I tried to re-process, but it still gives the same error..
how do I correct the error ? how do I fix it...? and re-process the BDOC.

where do I need to check the middleware settings... for R3AD*...in tbale SMOFPARSFA??
we are using CRM 2007.
Some time some sales orders are transfering from ECC6 to CRM without that error (succesfully) only some sales orders get that error....
any other area I need to check....?

BDOC BUS_TRANS_MSG is in yellow status.

Hi all,
When I am creating a sales order in CRM system the order is getting replicated in R/3 system but the BDOC is still in Yellow status.
When I am trying to use the TA /nVA02 and give the order number it is giving the error message "Sales document XXXXXXX is currently being processed (by user RFCUSER)".
When I am reprocessing the BDOC it is giving the error "Inconsistent update flags" which is technically correct and the status is in Green.
Can some one pls help me why the BDOC is not completly process in the first time itself. Why R/3 is not sending confirmation to the CRM system.

Thanks for your reply. I checked all three points mentioned by you.
- There is no entry in transaction SM12 (lockings) on the R/3 side.
- There is nothing in the inbound/outbound queues on CRM or on R/3.
- There is no dumps in transaction ST22 (CRM or R/3).
Still the BDOCs are in yellow status. Kindly suggest how to resolve this issue.

Stopping BDOC BUS_TRANS_MSG flow from ECC to CRM

In my project environment Sales documents will be created in CRM, and then will flow to ECC. After I have done relevant entries in table TBE31 BDOCs have started flowing in both directions, i.e. CRM to ECC and vice versa. Now I want to stop BDOC generation for sales documents generated in ECC. One way I can think of is to define a filter in R3AC1, but I believe there should be some better way.
Please help me in this regard, thanx in advance.

Hi,
Another way to stop the flow of sales doc data originating from ECC system would be as follows -
1. Goto trx.
SMQR
2. De-register the inbound queue
R3AD_SALESDOCUMENT*
using the deregistration button.
This will stop all the CRM inbound queue and hence the creation of sales documents in CRM. You can either delete the queue entries if you no longer want the data in CRM or you can execute the queue if you wish to replicate the data to CRM.
But I would suggest you to use the adapter object filter in
R3AC1
if you selectively wish to download data to CRM.

CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE IDOC not getting generated for BUS_TRANS_MSG BDOC

Hello Experts,
In our project, we have a requirement to send custom fields in the BUS_TRANS_MSG to external system through XIF. The model of BDOC BUS_TRANS_MSG triggering IDOC CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M02 perfectly worked in the development system. We wanted to try the custom field extension in the Sandbox. So as per OSS note 916093, we have extended E101_CRMXIF_CUSTOMER_H segments with custom fields and tried generating the interfaces in BDFG transaction. While generation with IDOC CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M we got an error message "Incompatible change to complex data type
type E101CRMXIF_ISU_PRA1_X". So went about creating a custom IDOC ZZ_CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M02 for message CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE. Even for this config, the IDOC is not getting generated for the BDOCs. Lastly, configured the IDOC ZZ_CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M02 to a custom function module ZZ_BDFG_IDOC_TEST_FM. The FM got generated and activated, even then the IDOC is not generated for the BDOC.
SMOEAC config in Sandbox looks the same as the Development system. We do not the reason why IDOC is not getting generated and also the reason for error in BDFG while generating the interfaces after adding custom fields to CUSTOMER_H segment.
Any help would be appreciated.

Bus_trans_msg MBDo failed in Inbound queue

Hi all,
The "Debit memoo" is downloaded from R/3 to CRM. The debit memoo is created with reference to "End user order" in R/3. During download the bus_trans_msg BDoc fails in the inbound queue with the following information "Error in validation (Details : transaction smw01).
When analyzing the BDoc "Bus_trans_msg" in the flow , the header structure "Orderadm_h" has 2 records one for Debit memoo and one for End user order.
Is it natural to have 2 records in the order header??? I guess this is a bug. Have anyone face this situation. Is there any OSS notes for it.

Yes it is natural to have mupltiple documents in one BDoc during Initial download from R/3 to CRM.
But is it natural to have multiple documents in One BDoc when changes are done to "Debit Memoo'. I mean "Delta download" from R/3 to CRM.

BUS_TRANS_MSG in Intermediary stage

Dear ALL,
Following BDOc BUS_TRANS_MSG is in intermediate state for quite a long time, I have checked inbound and outbound queue there is no problem. There are no ABAP dumps also.
I have checked in R3 system from VA02 as well, the document has not transferred.
Can anyone help me on this ?

I have also struggled with bdocs at intermediate state and the problem for me was that an crmd_order transaktion was started but never comitted/saved. When debugging the bdoc get in intermediate state when an activity was executed that calls crm_order_save. The user did not finnish the transaction but canceled it. The the bdoc was left !!!

BDoc structure enhancement for replication

We need to replicate ISU Customer contacts (Txn BCT0) to CRM Activities (Txn CRMD_ORDER). For this the mapping table BPCT_CRM_CLASS and Bdoc BUS_TRANS_MSG are used.
The standard is to map <class> and <action> to <description> on the activity. But, we want to map ISU <class> and <action> standard fields on contact into CRM <category> and <sub-category> custom fields on the activity.
I suppose the standard Bdoc BUS_TRANS_MSG and mapping table BPCT_CRM_CLASS need to be modified for achieving this.
Could you please help me with this? How the Bdoc structure can be enhanced in order to map to custom fields? Is it recommended or not?
Please share any relevant documents.

What u need to do is just make an append structure to the komp for this u can find a option append structure next to hierarchy display once u click the Append structure .
it will give u a pop up where u can find the create append over the top of the append and u can create your fields as per your requirement.

Bdoc Structure X Idoc structure

We are trying to map the Order data in CRM to an IDoc structure. The Bdoc BUS_TRANS_MSG has the related Data Type BAD_BUS_TRANSN_MESSAGE. In this Data type there is a component SHIPPING where there is a field TRANS_MOT wherein the MOde of Transport is stored.
But when I am saving this order, the Bdoc has the field but the corresponding Idoc generated has the Idoc Type CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M02 where I am not able to find this field.
Do any one of you have any idea as to where this field is mapped?

Pricing document locked

Hi all,
   I am new to CRM consulting and now I got a vague idea of Pricing.
   We have created quotations in mobile sales and send to online. In CRM online the error message displayed is "PRICING Document is already locked in transaction".
I see the conditions tab is initial and also in "Prices" tab the input box "Pricing Procedure" field is empty. As far as I know the "Pricing procedure" is automatically filled based on the following inputs - Sales organization, distribution channel, document pricing procedure and customer pricing procedure.
According to this combination a pricing procedure already exist.
But I have the following doubts
1. The quotation is created with a sold to party business partner 'X'. This buisness partner 'X' has only 3 roles - a. Buisness partner (general)
b. Financial Services BP
c. Prospect.
The business partner 'X' does not have a role "Sold to party". Is this creating problems in determining automatically the pricing procedure? (Howerver the sales organization, division is filled automatically from oppurtinities in quotations).
2. Tables.
   order header details are stored in table "CRMD_ORDERADM_H" and pricing details are stored in table "CRMD_PRICING". But table "CRMD_PRICING" does not contain the pricing data determination information. If you could see in segment 'ORDERADM_H' of BDoc 'BUS_TRANS_MSG' you could see the segement field 'KALSM'. This segement field storeds the pricing procedure name, how is the field filled and in which CRM online table the data is stored.
3. Additional table Info
As I know table "CRMD_PRICING" is the oline pricing table. What are these tables "PRCD_HEAD", "PRCD_ITEM" AND "PRCD_COND" ? . Are these online tables, or CDB tables or what?
4. How is IPC linked with CRM online, when a new quotation is created in CRM online.

Custom fields replication in sales order from CRM to ECC

Hi Experts,
We have added a few custom fields in CRM 7.0 (Ehp1) using AET. The BDoc BUS_TRANS_MSG has been automatically extended with these custom fields.
On ECC side also, same custom fields have been added to VBAK and VBAP, using APPEND STRUCTURE. Fields were added to ADDITIONAL DATA TAB B in VA01 / VA02 transactions.
Our issue is, when a sales order is created in CRM, it is getting replicated on ECC. But, only standard fields are getting replicated. The custom fields that we have added are remaining empty on ECC side.
In CRM --> txn SMW01, we can see that the BDOC is populated with custom fields also.
What is it that we have to do to ensure that custom fields are also replicated to ECC. Do we need to maintain field mapping between CRM and ECC, for custom fields, manually. How and where do we have to maintain the mapping. Also, please let me know the BADIs / exits that need to be implemented to achieve the above functionality

You can map these custom fields using the badi CRM_DATAEXCHG_BADI. Please see the documentation of the badi in SE18 in your system for further details.

What are the steps to send sales order custom field from CRM to ECC

We have created a custom field in sales order [ VBAK] and successfully replicate its value from ECC to CRM. But while doing the enhancement to replicate the field value from CRM to ECC [ When the SO is created in CRM ] we are not able to do so.
We used a FM in CRM0_300, but while replicating the SO from CRM to R/3 it is not getting called.
Please help us by providing the steps to do the full enhancement to replicate the custom field of SO from CRM to ECC.

We are faced with a similar situation as you.
Here is our scenario with the steps that we performed so far:
1. We have added a few custom fields in CRM 7.0 (Ehp1) using AET.

2. On ECC side also, same custom fields have been added to VBAK and VBAP, using APPEND STRUCTURE. Fields were added to ADDITIONAL DATA TAB B in VA01 / VA02 transactions.
3. Extended BAPI structures BAPISDITM and BAPISDITMX in both CRM and R/3 Side.
4. As mentioned in the note 1053817, we have implemented BADI CRM_DATAEXCHG_BADI -> Method CRM_DATAEXCH_AFTER_BAPI_FILL in CRM (mapped fields from BDOC to BAPI structures)
5. In the above note, for R/3 BAPI to R/3 API they have given to implement user exit USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP which we found in MV45AFZZ. But in this we are unable to find BAPI Structure to map.
Our issue is, when a sales order is created in CRM, it is getting replicated on ECC. But, only standard fields are getting replicated. The custom fields that we have added are remaining empty on ECC side.
In CRM --> txn SMW01, we can see that the BDOC is populated with custom fields also.

Middleware errors

Hi Gurus,
In my system other guy make the configuration for the replication to ERP. Now, I delete this configuration follow the help (delete suscription, publication, site, queue and filter).
However, now I only have an error. If I try to create an activity the system create a BDOC for BUS_TRANS_MSG and when I review the tx SMW01 I found a Queue in wait for send (but I don't wan to sent to ECC).
I don't have suscription for this BDOCD.
For other BDOCS (BUPA MAIN) I don't have this problem (I delete the suscription for BUPA_MAIN and for BUS_TRANS_MSG )
However,I have connection with BI and the query for activity use BDOC BUS_TRANS_MSG . Any idea why I have this BDOC in wait in the queue?
Why I need to review?

If you dont want to trigger the repective BDOCs by the system, just go to transaction code- SMW3_00 and give the BDOC name and select Do not Send.
With this no BDOC and no queue will be created.

Problem after change item status procedure in sales orders.

Hello experts,
I have changed item status procedure for sales orders. But now all BDoc with queue name CSA_ORDER_xxxxx remain in state 'Written to qRFC Queue (intermediate state)' and needs to be reprocessed manually.
No problem reprocessing.
Have somebody any idea ?

Hi,
Is your inbound queue un-registered(type U)? Look at trx.
SMQR
and see if it is in un-registered. If yes, select the CSA_ORDER_*** queue and click on
Registration
button.
If this does not help, re-generate your Bdoc services (for Bdoc BUS_TRANS_MSG) using
SMOGGEN
or
using the generation workbench.
Then try the delta once again and observe for queue and Bdoc status in the
SMW01
