BEx cumulative feature issue

Dear Friends,
I am working on a scenario to create a report like this :
Customer Document date doctype refecendoc no  clrdocno  <KYF DEB_CRE_LC>   <KYF Balance>.
Now the issue is..I want ot have date selection on Deb_cre_lc keyfigure and customer also is restricted with a variable.
The Balance should be closing balance of one date prior to that.
e.g. customer 131
131....01.01.2011...DV....13982.....3398..... +200.....534  --->(here closing balance of previous date would be 334)
131....01.01.2011...DV....13986.....3399..... -100.....434
131....02.01.2011...DV....13982.....3398..... +200.....634
I am able bring 334 using customer exit variable crating fm and calling it in ZXRU01 whenever the forumala varialbe is called.
But aggregation is not working ...
I tried to do simple aggregation on DEB_CRE_LC keyfigure but after date range it only brings the recordsd after date range and prior date doest come under cumulation..
i.e.
cumulateive DEB_CRE_LC will fetch only :
200  (200)
100  (200 -100)
500  (200-100+200).
I am thinking about variable keyfigure....suggest if it is possible in existing model..or some featrues..My hands are tied as I am using 3.5 system now for one of my customers .Still would love to get some good ideas on this.

Hi Sri,
You can use nested aggregation at query level to solve this issue. Create a formula on the key figure. In the exception aggregation select Avg, reference characteristic as customer. On this formula create another formula with Avg aggregation and reference characteristic as sales org. Now display only this Formula and hide the other ones.
