BEx output issue - simple one

Hi Gurus,
I copied a query 'A_query1' to another query 'B_query2',.
A-query1 shows the output as :
ProfitCenter     CompanyCode
123                     201
123                     201
Not assigned     201
Not assigned     201
Not assigned     201
Not assigned     201
Not assigned     201
Not assigned     201
and When I execute B_query2, the output is looking like,
ProfitCenter     CompanyCode
123                     201
Not assigned     201
User wants to display 123 to the next row also, and Not assigned should come in all the fields like in A_query1.
Please let me know how to procede further. This may be small thing, but I dont know how to make this setting.

Hi Ananya,
If you are sure that the values are in the cube.. Can you please check if the setting 'Suppress repeated key values' is checked? You can see this in the properties. If so, kindly uncheck this setting and refresh the query.

I was wondering where do we see the "Display as hierarchy" setting for the KF structure, i remember we can see the hierarchy settings for characteristics not sure how for KF structure.
May be am missing something here, though currently i dont have system in front of me .

0VENDOR value issues in one report BI

Hi BI Experts,
We have an issue in one of our BI reports. One user (say 'A') has 0VENDOR=* in his analysis authorization and another user (say 'B') has 0VENDOR restricted to the value fetched for that user during runtime. Rest all authorization are same for A and B
In Table /BIC/AZSMOLD0100, User B is assigned to Vendor 'X'
When the report is executed,
User A is able to see the rates for various billing docs for all settlement documents nos. under vendor 'X'
But User B is not able to see the rates (rates column is empty) for various billing docs for setllement document no. under vendor 'X'
Issue#1: Is this a security error? If not then whats the issue?
Issue#2:
- When I gave '#' as a value in analysis auth for 0VENDOR ('#' is supposed to be for unassigned values), User B is now able to see the rates for various billing docs for settlement document nos. under vendor 'X', But in additon is also able to see data of vendor's to which it is not assigned. Does '#' here means all vendor's as in '*'?
- When I gave aggregation (' : ') as a value for 0VENDOR, user B us able to see rates but this again gives output for other vendors

Issue #1: It sounds like a design issue. The recommendations above to use ST01 are useful, BUT... using the security error log tool under RSECADMIN will give you a much more accurate read on the problem. You can even execute the query using the rights of User A or B while using this tool.
Issue #2: The "#" symbol is a single character wild-card in the security system, and does not mean "Null". Hence your confusion. One should also not grant a specific value AND aggregate rights to a user, that confuses things.
Despite the availability of help files and a few SDN documents, we found the most useful way to understand analysis authorizations was to use RSECADMIN in a controlled fashion and determine exactly how things behaved.
One important hint... Do NOT grant an Analysis Authorization ("AA") to ANY user that contains a "*" or ":" authorization for any authorization relevant info object that you want to control for that user. BI 7 authorization works very differently from Bex 3.x authorization. Instead, we found that creating an AA for each family of infoproviders and authorization restriction worked best.

PO output issue

Hello all Gurus,
I have a problem with the PO output form. We have created new output types and tested them in quality environment and found that the PO is generating the correct output. Then we moved these output types to production environment and tested with our production user ids. There also, the system generated the correct PO output forms.
But when my client tested the outputs he is not getting data in Bill to address and Registration boxes. These two boxes contains the company code address. The system is displaying only the hardcoded data for the client. Not the company code data which is picked up from the tables through the form program. Can somebody suggest me why my client is getting this issue when we are not getting with our user ids in production?
Also, I don't think this is a problem of authorization roles, since this issue is coming only for the company code 3278.
For the rest of the company codes, the user is getting the correct PO forms. Only for Company code 3278, he is getting the incorrect output issue.
We tried to modify the program by updating the font size and character format. But this didn't work.
This issue has been there in my queue since the last one month and it has exceeded the permitted time limit. We are really bothered about this issue but not getting any correct solution for this.
Please, somebody provide me some valuable suggestions on this issue.

1. For the client's user id, the PO output is not showing the company code data in the PO output form. But when we are trying to see the same thing in production in ME23N (we don't have access to make changes in production), we are getting the correct PO form that shows the company code address also.
2. The company code 3278 and output types were created at the same time and moved to production.

Po message output issue

HI experts,
I got an issue regarding po's output message related one
here is issue : In my production system some messages(NEU) type are deleted manually (in me22n).
next day to the same PO's NEU type message is sent to vendor with out physical trigger and with out any changes made to that PO's.
PO message settings : output type : purchase order(VN) , medium EDI ,date/dispatch time 4 ,send with periodically scheduled job
program : RSNAST00 job name : RSNAST00 ( i found it from tbtcp table)
here i want to track out why it was happening. I am abap developer.
where would be the problem is happening.my functional was saying that it was due to the job process which triggers program"RSNAST00 " in background.he was asking to check the current settings of that job process.
Even i tried to debug the RSNAST00 program. still i didn't found any solution for that .

I have one requirement as follows:-
--> I want to restrict WERKS values in the output of simple ALV(using REUSE_GRID_DISPLAY).
currently the values ae displayed from standard search-help.
I want to fields WERKS(MRP Type) values from table T001W with field VKFLZ = 'B'.
Now the fieltered values should be displaeyd in ALV output.
I was thinking of using the event, but i cannot find appropriate event where i can code my changes...please suggest

HT6030 Sound output issue with Mavericks

There is a sound output issue with Mavericks and Firewire800 Audio devices. I am using a MIO 2882 but now people are having issues with other devices as well. Is this something that will be addressed in an update? If not I will need to downgrade my OS.

maybe the adapter went bad.....fast. try getting one thats made by sony. or apple. i have had bad luck with some cheap products i bought.
or maybe thats the brand you have ad luck with. i remember when i use to get some quantom fireball drives, and they just died on me the next week. im down to two and keeping a good eye on them. especially fujitsu. the only ones i have GREAT LUCK with are Seagate and Western digitals drives.

Hints why all Update Routines are coming with 0.00. Even the simple ones?

any hints why about 5 update routines that I have written are coming with 0.00 or blanks.
Even very simple ones such as the one for MyCclQTY in the cube, which has the only line in the update routine between ODS and Cube:
RESULT = SOURCE_FIELDS-QTY.
shows in the cube output as blanks while QTY has data:
e.g. of Cube Output:
QTY-Field2-MyCclQTY----MyCalField2
300--125--BLANK--
0.00
600--42.9-BLANK--
0.00
Basically all my routines, e.g. MyCclQTY, MyCalField2
are not showing values while the direct mappings show the correct data.
In the above simple case, with the routine shown above, I expected to see 300 and 600 for MyCclQTY but they come out blank.
Any hints as to what may be wrong?

Also please check that you have assigned correct Unit of Measure in the field "Unit of Routine".

Bex report issue - no applicable data found when we drill down on free char

Hi All,
We are facing some strange issue with one of the report.
when user run the report for a week (02/02/2009 - 02/08/2009) and then drill down on particular char its working fine (first time).after that when he is trying to change and execute the report for other week on the same instence ( 02/09/2008 - 02/15/2009) by clicking on refresh and passing new values to the variable its showing up correctly at the time of drill down on free char its showing as *no applicable data found.*
when he logoff the system completey and run the report for the week( 02/09/2008 - 02/15/2009) values it is showing up with values even tough he drill down on free char.
issue basically when he was trying to drill on free char by chaging different date values in the same instance by clicking on refreh and by entering diffrent values its showing up as not applicable data found.
but when he enters the values for different weeks each time by closing the system and relogin report is working fine and showing up data eventough he drill down on free char.
Please help me out!

I often receive these insufficient USB power for devices messages a dozen times even when I do not have devices like camera, Ipad, Ipod, and Tascam digital audio recorder plugged in. Is there a way to troubleshoot these USB routers or should I consider that one of the routers may be defective and replace them?

Output parameters with one name

With regard to Dialog Programming, I need to replicate an existing transaction. The transaction has multiple ouput parameters that have one common name. I'm having trouble manipulating these output parameters.
Do i assign these specific output parameters to one internal table with same name? Can you guys provide a sample code with regard to manipulation of these types of output parameters?

Hi Brando Braganza,
a transaction does not have output parameters - by definition.
The best you can do is write down what you are doing. And please give the names and types of all objects involved.
Then qualified help will come!
