BI Content Variable on 0Calday for first day of the fiscal year and first day of the current month

Hi Friends,
In one of my BEx queries, I need to restrict a key figure for 0Calday based on the first day of the current fiscal year. And another key figure for the first day of the current month. Instead of using Customer exit, I hope there is some SAP delivered standard variable for these filters.
Please let me know if there is anything available for this. Your answers will be highly appreciated.

It has worked flawlessly for the last year and suddenly I get the message: "this iphone is not optimized for this device." I dismiss the message, but the remote no longer works with it and the music is too quite to the speakers. The remote works fine with my Macbook Pro. I tried a restore on the iPhone and started from scrach, but the same problem exists.
Any help with this?

Reports with variables on fiscal year and want to display the current fiscal period values

Hi
i wan to display the fiscal periods in one of the reports when i give input for fiscal year, let say i will pass the fiscal year as 2012 , then i need to display the revenue for 2012.01,2012.02,2012.03,....2012.12 and in another selection i need to restrict the revenue with the previous year.
how can we achieve that.

F.13 -fiscal year vs posting day

hi,
in the F.13 screen parameter ,there are parameters named fiscal year and posting day.
1.what's the relation ship between them?
2.are they both used as the selection critria?
3. What will happen if we set the fiscal year with 2008 but the posting day in 2009? is it always no data pick up?

Hi,
If you mention the fiscal year as 2008 and posting date in 2009, the system will pick up the documents.
It depends on your Fiscal year.
For example, if your fiscal year is from April 1 2008 to March 31 2009, then if you mention the fiscal year as 2008 and posting date as 02.02.2009(any date upto march 31 2009) the system will pick up the documents(if matching).
If the fiscal year is from Jan to Dec. and if you mention 2008 in the fiscal year and posting date as a date in 2009, you will not get any reports..

BAPI_CCODE_GET_LASTDAY_FYEAR
this will give you back the last day of a fiscal year for a company code, but if you start with previous year, than you add 1 to the result, than you get first day of current fiscal year.
FIRST_AND_LAST_DAY_IN_YEAR_GET
this will give you back the first and the last dates of a given year, but you'll need the period version as well.

Here's one way:
SELECT               TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'Q') - 1     AS prev_qtr_end
,     ADD_MONTHS ( TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'Q') - 1
             , 3
             )                    AS this_qtr_end
FROM    dual;TRUNC (dt, 'Q') returns the first day of the quarter containing dt.
Subtract one day from that, and you have the last day of the previous quarter.
Add 3 months to that, and you have the last day of the current quarter. ADD_MONTHS (dt, n) will always return the last day of a month if its first argument, dt, is the last day of a month.

You have encounter Activation Lock, the antitheft feature of the iPhone. The previous owner did not remove the phone from their account. The phone cannot be used until they do. Return to the store and let them sort this out. It is very unusual for someone to "forget" to disable activation lock, as it is necessary to do so to erase personal information on the phone. So it is quite likely you bought a stolen phone.

Function Module to get first day of the fiscal year on passing a date

Hi Experts!!
Can you please suggest a Function Module to get first day of the fiscal year on passing a date..?
Example: if a fiscal year starts from 30 November 2009 and ends at 28 november 2010.
it should return 30 th nov 2009 (first day of the fiscal year)

That is normal for purchasing apps for a device not previously associated with your Apple ID.

How long should a reasonable person expect their computer screen to last before a pixel drop out line appears? I have been asked to pay for a repair after 1 year and 19 days!!

A thin coloured line appeared on my i-Mac screen and I have been asked to pay £139 to have it repaired. This was reduced by the manager of the Sheffield store from c£300!!
The computer is 1 year and 19 days old but the warranty period is 1 year. I was uanable to bring the machine in earlier but the problem was there 2 weeks ago within the warranty period. Still no joy from the store as I had not reported it before the 12 months!!
What with Time Capsule back-up issues I an beginning to lose faith in Apple.
Surely a reasonable person could expect the machine to be repaired FOC as a goodwill gesture?

Not after the warranty has expired. Apple has no obligation to do so.

I have a master detail form .
Master Block contain emp_no,name,month etc.
Detail block contain a date field(format mask 'dd'),a day field(the day on that day)
and working hours detail of each day.
when i enter the date in detail block it defaults the month from system date and i can not enter 31 for the month of march if system date is April.
The form is going to reside on server so i cant go for changing system date for that.What i am looking for is the detail block should get the month from the month field present in master block.For eg if i enter 3 in month field on master block the detail block date field should allow me to enter 1 to 31. if i enter 2 in month field on master block the detail block date field should allow me to enter 1 to 28.and so on. can any body help in this regard.

The effective_date only effects the $$ variables such as $$DBDATE$$ but the form uses a different date to complete the partial entry. You can see this if you reset the system time:
ALTER SYSTEM SET fixed_date = '2007-01-01-00:00:00';
and set a date item's initial value to $$DBDATE$$ (and use a full format mask).
With this setting your method still uses the current month.
I don't know what forms uses to populate the date from a partial entry but you could solve your problem by creating a new item for the entry of the day, hide the existing item and populate it in the when-validate trigger of the new item, eg
:block.proper_date_field := to_date(:block.dummy_date_field||:master_block.month||<year>,'DDMMYYYY');
Then you just need to trap the exception if an invalid date is entered.
(and populate the dummy date field in post-query of course).
For forms 10g, and 6i too I think, the post-change trigger is deprecated. Use when-validate-item for this.
