hi,
we have some bi publisher reports. Issue is when we select a Time range more that 2-3 months from the Prompt, the report throws an error message < the report cannot be rendered please contact the administrator…… >, please help me how to solve this issue. i think we have to increase the limit size for he number of records, if it so how can we do that?

web app log file means oraclebidata/ web/ log file, if not so please tell me the path where i can find that file.
on report side it is giving the following eror,
"The Report cannot be rendered because of an error, please contact the administrator"

Hi, I am using Flash 5. I need to save my flash .swf to play on a website. I went into Publish settings and selected Flash player 9 and Actionscript 3. I then exported the .swf and .html.

I then placed the .swf in Dreamweaver using Dreamweavers .swf plugin. When I previewed the page in my browser the sound played but the animation didn’t. What a I missing?

Does the html page that Flash publushed work okay? USe the codee from that file if it does, DW is not a reliable source for embedding Flash content.
You will need to build in your own controls to have something clickable that plays the file.

Hetrogenous replication in sql server 2008

I am trying to setup a transaction rpelication between a Oracle publisher (version 10.2) and sql server 2008 sp1 on windows 2008, 64 bit AMD Processor.
I have installed the oracle client 11.0.1 and followed the permissions for the login on the orcale server.
I was able to add the oracle publusher.
I am tryign to create the publication and atricles and i get the following error.

PDF editing from in-app possible? urgent please

Is there a plugin that allows one to open an PDf from within an app and edit it in a pdf editor. My client is a publusher of digital textbooks for high school and one requirement is to be able to open exercises, which are currently in PDf format, and make notes on them etc.And save the PDF.
Any assistance or advice would be appreciated

Publish a project automatically in a workflow

Hello, all!
I have a complex Project Server 2013 workflow. The workflow is created using SPD2013.
On some stages the workflow sets Custom project fields value. This value stays Draft until user hasn't publushed Project manually using PDP or Project Prof.
How I can autopublish a project in the workflow?
I've spend some time trying to use "Call HTTP Web Service" activity (REST endpoint /pwa/_api/ProjectServer/Projects('projectid')/Draft/publish) by I cannot make it work.
I've created a console application which publishes a project but how I can use it in a workflow?
Maybe I have overlooked some obvious solution.
Any help will be greatly appriciated.

Flash 8 Color Loss

I have purchased a template for a Flash web site. My problem
is that I made a few changes. The test show the screen as I planned
it, but when I publush the movie and transfer to the server I lose
the bottom half background color. It turns white and makes it hard
to see the animation. Any suggestions?

Odd thing, never heard any one reporting such problem.
Could it be that the BG color is not same as the one define
by your object embed tags ?
Can you give us the URL to check what is up with that ?

Problems with French site

I'm getting a very large number of Document Fetch Failures (the majority are 500 errors) when crawling our French site. We are not having any problems with crawling our English sites which are similar to the French site (just the language difference).
For the crawler parameters for the French sources I am using "French" as the Default language and "ISO Latin-1" as the Default character set. The English use "English" as the Default language and "ISO Latin-1" as the Default character set.
Can someone shed some light on why the French site could be generating so many 500 errors? Is there something I am missing?
Also, I'm not sure if this could be the problem but when I initially set up and crawled the French sources I had the default language set at English. After noticing the large number of 500 errors, I changed it to French, and deleted all of the French rows from the database. Recrawled but still getting errors.

Hi All,
This problem has beenÂ found but not entirely addressed yet. When users sign up to Diamond they are askedÂ if they would like to be added to the Developer Group. This should not be an optional step they should be added automatically. When content is published to Diamond it is publushed as Public content or for a particular group.
We will be addressing this issue in comming weeks and i will updateÂ in this post when we have a resolution.

Maximum Scenes/ Frames?

Hi
I have created a long flash FLV. My settings are as follows 29 FPS as its displaying on a HD TV and its about 22 min long. I have 32 Scenes though each scene isnt that long, i link my longest scene is 2200 frames long. I export at maximum quality as a SWF and an EXE.
Heres the problem. When i play it back (both the SWF and EXE do this in the same place) it just freezes after about 8min in the same place each time (playing it back in flash player 8). I deleted the scene (21) where it froze to see if that helped but is then stopped in the middle of scene 22. Is there a maximum number of scenes/frames which can be played back? the publushed file is about 55MB.
What should i do?

I pubish the file onto my desktop and play the SWF or EXE directly from there.
Where are the publish settings to set it to steaming? i wonder if that will make a difference?

I have to set-up the EBS interface for CFONB120 and AFB120 (France) and I would kindly ask you for help.

- Do both formats have the same external operation coding so that only one transaction type is required in config?
- Is there some public resource available describing these formats?

Yes you can do.
You can create a new template(different short name) in XML Publusher Administor with same Data definition and upload your new template.
then it automatically appear in Options when you submit concurrent program

Where on .MAC is my web page?

Hi, I created a web site and publushed it to .mac. No problems when it asked to view it. But when I log into .mac on the left side I see some of the pages I included in the web site listed, along with homepages I did before iWeb, but not them all?
On the right of that area I see a small "www" and if I click on that I go to my old homepages? I don't see my new site listed anywhere. How do I get to it?

As Tom say below, the first group relates to iWeb, the second to HomePage. In the case of HomePage the list (at least in my case) appears to consist of the top five pages in terms of visits. I'm not sure if the iWeb five are a random selection or are the five most recently added/edited pages.
(Incidentally, both the WWW button and 'More' at the end of the HomePage list link to the same place: your HomePage area on .Mac. As with .Mac Groups, I would expect 'More' to change the items in My Pages rather than bring me to HomePage. This behaviour is a real pain in a .Mac group if there are more than five pages, since nothing after the fifth page can be opened directly from the group page.)

Website not publishing right

Hi everyone
I have a website that I used do in blue voda but recently decided to try in iWeb.
The way the pages are publishing isn't how I want them publushed.
My index page is supposed to be my main website page, www.eclectusparrots.net
however it is publishing as
www.eclectusparrots.net/Eclectus_Parrots/index.html
It had created Eclectus_Parrots folder in my ftp, which I don't want.
Also so far the main index page is all I am able to get on the net. I am having trouble publishing my other pages & am not sure where I am going wrong here. They try publishing as my main index page. How do I publish them as separate html pages & how do I get rid of Eclectus_Parrots permanently ??

Error assigning and creating tasks problem!

I am using Sharepoint Designer 2013 to create task in a workflow and I get the following message when publushing it:

For whats is worth my connection with the site is okay, for I am able to publish a workflow changing status, sending e-mails and other simple options.

Flash AIR publish question

Ok so, normally I use adobe flash player to run and test games I have created however I have just switched to adobe AIR as I needed a UDP connection in a game I am currently creating and flash player does not support this but AIR does. Flash publishes a .air installer and a .exe installer but not the exe of the game. When I use one of these installers it creates the game exe, the game swf and a METAINF folder. Now does this mean I have to install my game every time I want to test it? Why cant I just publish the AIR game exe and not these installers? Thanks

I found the air debug launcher but that still doesnt allow me to run 2 clients at once. So does anyone know if you can just publush the .exe air project and NOT the installer?
