BI Scheduler Service not starting even after setting up

Hi all,
I have done the necessary table creation for Scheduler on a schema and pointed out that schema in Job Manager. But when I tried to start the Oracle BI Scheduler service, it is giving the below error.

Below are the steps which I followed.
1) Created the scheduler related tables and indexes in the schema.
2) I have added the Scheduler Administrator to the credential store.xml using the command "cryptotools credstore -add -infile D:/OracleBIData/web/config/credentialstore.xml"
3) Configured the Job Manager with the schema where tables/indexes are created. And the Administrator name is filled with the credentials provided in the above point.
I have referred to this page for setting up scheduler. "http://obiee101.blogspot.com/2008/08/obiee-configuring-configuring-scheduler.html".
No. I haven't done anything to configure cryptotool. But I have used that tool to generate the admin user name and password for scheduler.
And, I havent tried to import the scheduler tables into the RPD.

I am a .NET developer and a newbie to the world of BO I have just written a simple application in C# making use of the BO.NET Enterprise SDK and the ReportEngine.NET SDK to open a WEBI document and export it to Excel. I have got the whole thing working - starting from establishing the EnterpriseSession, obtaining the reportEngine instance and also opneing the Webi document and exporting it to Excel.
The problem is the even after setting a different value for the prompts I ALWAYS get the same report - for example if I set the Country prompt to India I always get the previous one that was set in the universe (Brazil). These are not optional prompts and I do refresh the documentInstance after calling "SetPrompts" Did anyone elase have the same problem with caching?. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please find the snipped of the code attached.

The link is correct, however you need access to SAP Service Market Place (SMP), which you should have since you are using BOE / BI. If not, ask your BOE / BI administrator to set you up with logon to SMP.

Listener service not start automatically after reboot in Win2K server Clust

Hi all,
I set up a two node Server Cluster with Microsoft Windows 2000 server cluster service. Hardware are two HP DL380 servers and HP MSA500 (the shared storage). The cluster's IP address is 10.1.241.65. When I shut down both servers and restart the primary server, the listener server service will not start automatically. The listener log is:

The service is set up automatically start. I suspect the cluster virtual IP is not available immediately after reboot. So I tried setting the Recovery after first failure and second failure to 3 minitues each, and setting up Dependencies of the listener on the cluster service in the Win2K Service panel. Neither worked.
The service can be manually start.
Any suggestion?

lsnrctl start
check the parameters in : <ORACLE_HOME>/network/admin/listener.ora
check the IP address or host name

lastly what is OCI and its functionality.... should i have to install it separately as i read that it should be installed for scheduler

thanks for help sir. i am able to start schedule service but now i am getting another problem. when i configure my account (More Products>Delivers>My Account) at the bottom i found an error
System Delivery Profile not available:

Weblogic managed service not starting up after Windows restart

Hi All
I have an issue with start up of Managed instances configured as windows service. When we reboot the machine the services which are configured to be automatically start are not starting up. When I manually start them they would just run fine. I have no clue why this is happening. We have our applications running on Weblogic Server 8.1 SP6
I already tried the following method stated in this URL http://www.javagalaxy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=188? and had no luck with the service start up.
Can someone please guide me through what I can do to fix this issue.

Standard substitution is not working even after setting up in HRUS_D2

Hello all,
We presume after setting up substitutions for approvers, the workitem should be in both actual approver and his substitutes in box per the standard SAP workflow functionality. For some reason this doesnot seem to happen.
Is there any other setting, other than setting up a substitute, i.e an entry with validity dates active in HRUS_D2.

I hope there is no filter activate for substitute. You need to checxk the filter.

ITunes will not start even after permission repair, disk repair.....

Let me continue plst files, deleted old install and re-installed, downgraded version, ran disk warrior, tried new user account. Backed up everything re-installed fresh OS, still did not start, installed update plus latest version of iTunes. Still does not start. Called Apple support, did the usual permissions repair etc..... Ran Apple Hardware Test no problems found, TechTools Deluxe no problems, MemTest no problems.
On hold now waiting for Apple support again. I am assuming at this point there is a unknown hardware issue. Any ideas?

You really went the extra mile trying to pin down the culprit! So.... who was the culprit anyway? which hub? the keyboard acts as hub, was this powered or un-powered, too? which would be of interest.
Instead of hub, maybe a PCIe USB2 card?

Apps services not starting up after Linux OS upgrade to 5.0

I'm actually new to APPS DBA and i'm stuck with this prob for the past few days...I searched a lot but couldn't find a solution to it...could u pls help me out...
Actually, the Linux OS was upgraded from 4.0 to 5.0 and the old instance that was workin on 4.0 is now having trouble in 5.0.

Itunes does not start even after reinstall

Hi Ituners,
I have a 64 bit windows 7 PC. Itunes recently crashed. When I tried to run it, my PC would freeze up and I would have to reboot it. I followed the directions from the apple forum on doing a complete unistall. When I went in to uninstall the individual programs, Quicktime was not on the list. ??? I removed the other programs and went through the itunes related folders. Found quicktime there and deleted the folder (as per the instructions) and rebooted the PC.
Reinstalled itunes and all related programs showed up, but itunes will not run. I hit shift/ctrl and clicked icon to start program in safe mode. Pop-up on screen says that I may continue or exit. When I hit continue, it closes. Nothing after that.
Any help here would be nice. Itunes has become a major thorn in my side, but I need it for my Apple tv.

Lightroom 3 will not start, even after deleting the .LOCK file.

I have read about deleting the .lock file and that did not work. I have restarted my computer and that did not work. I tried opening a backup catalog and that did not work. I delete the .lock .journal and the catalog and the resorted from the back up. It created a new cataloge but it still did not work.
Any Ideas?

Thanks for the help. However it did not work.
I held the Option key and was able to create a catalog. I should explain LR3 tries to start. Then I get a message that LR3 unexpectedly quit. I am trying one more thing. I only had 15GBs of space on the HD. I am clearing more space to see if that works. I had updated the OS too.

and LR3 3.6

Firefox 5 hangs after new install at Checking the Add Ons and will not start even after reboot

Downloaded V5, ran the install, started Firefox and first screen is 'Checking Add Ons', the status bar is shown and immediately hangs. Have tried to restart, have rebooted and start and Firefox will not come up. Have to drop back to V3.6

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

This can be a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the files extensions.* (extensions.sqlite, extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox [[Profiles|profile folder]] to reset the extensions registry. New files will be created when required.

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar (or click the "Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to do a compatibility check or see if there is an update.
