Billing creation date & posting date

Hi
we created one Sales Order  in which there is an item with item category TAS that creates a Purchase Requisition to do the direct shipment.
From the PR  which were created triggered by the SO, we created PO  and based on the PO we did consumption GR and IV.
IV posting date was 18/11/2011, and GR posting date was 1/12/2011.
After the process, Billing document  has been created on 1/12/2011, with billing date 18/11/2011.
Following this Billing, Accounting document 00 was created with posting date 18/11/2011.
Also, Profitability Analysis  was created on with the same posting date, 18/11/2011.
Looking at above 3 docs, all were created on 1/12/2011 whereas the posting date was on 18/11/2011.
Now I am wondering how the system determined the Billing date (and Posting date) to be 18/11/2011???
And is the trigger to create Billing document always the PGR against PO in case of direct shipment which is processed with a statistical GR??
Or the trigger to create the Billing document is a completion of both the PGR and IV??
Please I would again like to know how the determination of the billing date and posting date happens
Thanks
Thambaiah

As it being a Third party scenario,
I think Posting depends on Goods movement (consumption based GR) ..
As there is no POD, so IV (MIRO) becomes the legal document that delivery is done to customer, so is the billing document being  generated after IV is done.

  • Creation of Billing Plan data

    Hi all,
I am using [BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2] for creating Sales order
and i also have billing plans data to be updated in the sales order. But i dont find any structures for populating the Billing plan data into the BAPI.
But i found the SD_SALES_BILLINGPLAN_CHANGE function module for updating the Billing plan schedule data. But this function module needs [Billing plan number / invoicing plan number] assigned to the sales order from the table VBKD.
When i create the Sales order through BAPI, the [Billing plan number / invoicing plan number] is not getting updated and i dont know how to update the billing plan for the sales order created using BAPI.
Can anyone help out how to create the Billing plan data for a Sales order?

  • Issue for creation date of Billing document in third party ???

    Hello SAP Folks,
This issue is related to third party scenario. The basic requirement is to create to a billing document with a creation date same as
Good issue date of Sales Order.
For your information, with the help of enhacement we have passed on the value of posting date of material document generated
from MIGO to Goods issue date in Sales Order. I am very much aware that setting up a new copying routine would help me but
relating the GI date field of Sales Order from the techincal point of view is a complete work stopper. Could anyone throw light on
the workaround for mapping this case ???
    Regards,
    Sarthak

    Hello,
Thanks Alex for your input on the topic !!
But i would like to say that the billing relevance of the item category has to "B" as this process of Third part Sales talks about creation of billing document after the MIGO. And i am basically interested to Populated the posting date of MIGO for Biling creation date.
In Sales Order, the GI date is modified to Posting date of MIGO through enhancement. I have been looking around relevant tables to fetch the GI date of Sales Order but not getting the right track...
Could anyone provide any other workaround to implement this sort of requirement ???

  • Invoice cancellation doc picking up billing doc creation date

    hi,
i am cancelling an invoice document which was created and posted last month(july- mm period closed,fi still open) but the cancelled accounting document  is picking up the invoice creation date rather today's date. help would be appreciated.
    regards
    leo

    Hi Leo,
When any invoice is cancelled it will automatically pick the original invoice date.
If you want other date on which the cancelled invoice has to be created can give the date in the billing date field, so that it wil creat cancelled invoice on date you entered when cancelling
    T.code VF11.

  • How to fetch post goods issue date and sales order creation date

    Hi All,
How to find out the difference between SD Sales Order Item Creation Date and final Post goods issue Date. I would like to know how to fetch those dates and what is the relationship between the tables from which i will get the dates.
Please let me know the solution .
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Sales order creation date is when u raise a sales order in favor of the customer using VA01.......using ATP logic system purposes the material availability date....
after saving ur sales order...when u raise the Delivery using VL01n  w.r.t to OR...than u have to perform picking ....In the picking Tab...specify the amount to be picked than press Post Good Issue....means the goods left the company premises ..
You can the fetch the values using tables-  Use T code   SE12  or SE16
    Vbak-----order header
    Vbap-----order item
    Vbek-----order schedule line
    Likp-----Delivery header
    Lips----Delivery item

  • Posting date in QA11 is allowed prior to GR creation date

    Dear all,
It is regarding material posting through QA11 transaction. in QA11 transaction we can change the document date and posting date. This allows me to post the material prior to GR creation date, which logically should not allow.
If anybody has work on this aspect.
I have already tried all the user exits. I am able to put the check in QEVA0007 (EXIT_SAPMQEVA_007), but it convert the error message to Information and allows further.
    You guys input are required.

    Raja,
None of the available User Exits will assist in this case. There is no standard tool to perform this check.
Have you considered a field exit? The field you need to look at in this particular case is RQEVA-BUDAT.
In the coding of 'MQEVAF20' the form 'HOLE_ZUSATZDATEN_QALS' actually
does change the date set by QALS with the current date.
...this is not much, but I´m afraid there is not much option in this case.

  • COGI - Diference between Error date, Creation date & posting date

    Hi All,
While running COGI report, I could see columns " Creation Date" , "Error Date", But I could not get the meaning of this fields from the F1 Help.  could anuone of you please help me with the relevancy of these columns.
Also the Posting date some time doesn't match either of the dates.
    Thanks & reagrds
    Mahesh

    Mahesh,
I think I have interchanged the terminoly:
What Creation date is the date when the item was created in the COGI. Error date is the date when the error was first created. The error message might change then the date of new error message is the error date.
Example: When COGI was created it came due to deficit of stock. Now you have the stock but try to post you get the "Posting date problem". So the error date now is the latest date when the new error occured. But still the creation date is the original.
    Sorry for confusing you.

  • My bill, my data plan

I currently have 3 phones on my account, 2 of which are smartphones. One has unlimited data (yay) and the other has a 2 Gb cap. The issue is this: the phone with unlimited data belongs to my wife. She usually connects to our WiFi and uses a smidgeon of that unlimited data. I, on the the other hand, spend most of my time at work and am limited by the 2Gb cap. I called Verizon to ask them to just port her number over to mine and mine to hers so that I can take advantage of the unlimited data that I am already paying for (I was told that unlimited data is associated with the number). I'm not asking for anything more or anything less. I just want to make more efficient use of my data plan. My wife has YET to reach the 2Gb in billing cycle, while I, in just 1 day, did so and pretty much had to not use data for the rest of the month. I was told that it is IMPOSSIBLE to change it over. IMPOSSIBLE? No. It's not impossible. They have the computers, they have the access, not me. How difficult is it to edit the database at a users request for something they are already paying for? Perhaps it is an oversimplification but it's a computer people. Stuff can be changed and adjusted. Like I said in the title, it's my bill, my data plan. I'm not trying to get unlimited data for both phones or bring Verizon to it's knees. I just want an appeal to reason and a SIMPLE customer request to make the most of a great network. I find it difficult to believe that there isn't one person who can help me. Is the information store with account information locked down? Did Skynet come online and not allow anyone to make changes? If so, tell me now because if that's the case, then I've got bigger problems than worrying about data plans and more to worry about in the form of Terminators and self-aware machines.
Seriously guys. There's SOMEONE who can do it. I'm not asking for the impossible. I just want to make better use of the unlimited data that I'm already paying for anyway. What do I need to do to make this happen?

demmo86rt, you have given me a more rational and believable explanation than any Verizon rep so far without patronizing me or pretending I'm some idiot. It makes sense if it does indeed matter between 3G and 4G phones. My wife is on an iPhone 4 (3G) and I'm on an HTC Rezound (4G). Still though, I imagine that since it's a billing thing, they could just move it over, OR, I could go the route of callling Big Red and say, "I would like to change the number on (mywifes-phone) to (myphone-number," and technically, I'm not changing the contract. I'm changing the number. Just seems that no one wants to do that. And I don't see how it's imossible to change numbers on phones that are already on the same network. But like I said, your post has been more informative than what any tier 1 rep or supervisor has given me thus far. I'm just disappointed that I can't make better use of unlimited data when my wife never will.

  • PO creation Date and Invoice creation Date

    Hi,
Can any one help me regarding which table I can look for PO creation date and Invoice creation date. I require these fields for my reporting requirement.
    Thanks in advance,
    Arvind.

    Thanks for your response Bala.
I got the Table which I require. I have one more question on this.
Can you tell me Invoice Creation Date is RBKP-BLDAT(Document Date in Document) or RBKP-BUDAT(Posting Date in the Document) and PO creation Date is EKKO-AEDAT(Date on which the record was created) or EKKO-BEDAT(Document Date in Document).
    Points already rewarded.

  • Restrict GR date prior to PO creation date.

    Dear experts,
The Present configuration allows GR date prior to PO creation date. The system allows users to post Goods receipt (MIGO), even if the GR date is prior to the PO creation date.
How to restrict this? Is there a standard customization in MM or it requires ABAP programming?
Please suggest me a solution as early as possible.
    Thanks in advance.

  • All the creation dates for my files are wrong?

I've had this problem for a long time but I finally want to fix it once and for all. All the documents, pictures, and other files on my computer have the same creation date - 1/5/09. When you right click a file it shows the correct creation date but if I just left click it then it shows the wrong date. is there a way i can fix it?

The creation date of your system will be the same for most of your system documents; there's easy no way to change this information. However, you might also see a more current date, indicating Modified information, and that will be more current.
There are computer commands that will blank out much of your system data, but that's to be done in cases of major problems. Don't worry about the creation date of your computer/data.
Post here if you have addtional questions, comments, praise!
