Billing date as the Pricing date

Hi,
When im updating the Invoice using VF02 (Still the accounting entries are not posted), i want to change the Pricing date as the billing date.
What is the pricing type i should select to update the prices according to the billing date.
Thank U,
Uwanthi

hi,
Click on the update button in the conditions tab in billing and select carry out new pricing. this shoud resolve your problem. But Im usat warn you that you might loose out the valeus for the conditions which has been entered manually or in certain even some condition records maintained with some specific access could have issues.
Anyways, carryo ur new pricing is the solution for you problem.
If you want the same to happen every time, you can maintian the pricing type for the above mentioned one ( I think it is B) at tyhe item level in copy control settings
Thanks & regards,
Nithin

  • Exchange rate  on billing date- pricing date to be billing date

    Hi All,
If I create a billing document then the pricing date is coming from sales order.
Exchange rate is claculated based on sales order pricing date. But my client requirement is to consider the exchange rate on billing date.

    Dear venkat
Go to VTFL, select your billing type and delivery type and click on "Item".  There select your item category and click on magnifying lens on top so that you will be taken to a screen where there is a field "PricingExchRate type".  Maintain "C" there and save.

  • Invoice pricing procedure not using alt calc type from the pricing procedur

The sales order has the same pricing procedure as the invoice but when the invoice is created it is not using the alt calc type that is on the pricing procured like it is on the sales order.  This is causing one of the condition types to have different values on the sales order vs. invoice.
I am not sure what other areas to check to see why this is happening.  Any thoughts?

I have checked and in the copy controls for Delv type = LF  and target Bill type = F2  the Pricing Type = G (copy pricing elements unchanged and redetermine taxes).   Condition types such as ZPR2 where there is condition record copy in correctly to the invoice.   It is condition type ZZIF where it is determined from a routine, not a condition record, where I am having this issue.
Is there another place in config that I should be making a setting so that condition types determined by routines are copied to the invoice without being redetermined at invoice create?

  • Pushing out a billing date through a project - affect the pricing in a SO

    Hello
I have two sales orders for a customer with same terms of payment, pricing procedure and everything almost similar except dates (say billing dates). the company is mainly using project systems. they are using billing plans. even the billing plans, billing types are also same.
The Issue is that, for one sales order it picking the Gross Value (present in document header -> Condition tab) as Net Value for the sales order. However for the another sales order it is picking the Total (present in document header -> Condition tab) as Net Value for the sales order.
Can anyone please explain me why the system is behaving like that, what is the mistake I did. I want the system to pick total value.
"pushing out a billing date through a project would affect the pricing in a sales order. the netted discount is not showing any more." - this is the issue

  • How to change the pricing date inthe conditon record access details

    Hi Team,
Please help to solve this issue.
When we create a sales order, pricing date will update as creation date and the same date will appear in the condition records access details for all the respective condition type.
In case of sales order is created with reference to Contract then pricing date will update same as from the contract pricing date.
for examaple contract created on  01.01.2014 for the same day  if we create the sales order with reference contract then pricng date will update as 01.01.2014 in the sales order.
If we create the sales order example today 19.05.2015 but stil pricing date will update as 01.01.2014 (due to same date available in the contract)
Now my requirment is for one of the condition type ex ZXXX this pricing date should update as sales order creation date (Not all the condition types) in the condition record access.
Please check and let me know ho to solve this issue.
    Thanks in Advance.
    MK.

    Hi MK,
When we define a price condition in customizing, we have field Pricing date, with the following entries available:
    ‘ ‘   Standard (KOMK-PRSDT; tax and rebate KOMK-FBUDA)
A    Date of services rendered (KOMK-FBUDA)
    B    Price date (KOMK-PRSDT)
    C    Billing date (KOMK-FKDAT)
    D    Creation date (KOMK-ERDAT)
    E    Order date (KOMK-AUDAT)
    Use E.

  • Pricing Conditions and how the pricing date is determined

    Hi all,
Small question, i ahve some pricing conditions that use the Serives Rendered date and others that use the Pricing Date from an order, how is the condition decided on what date it uses?
Hope i have expplained this ok, if not and you need more info let me know.
    Regards
    Steve

    Hi
There is a difference between Service Rendered Data and Pricing Date.
Normally Freight Conditions are maintained on Service Rendered Date so the freight will be picked on the basis of date on which the Actual Delivery done, whereas Pricing date is used for other conditions so that price will be based on the date on which the document created and the Pricing Date maintained in that.
In the same way there is a Billing Date which came in Invoice so price will be based on the date of Invoicing.
If you maintain the record in VK11 and test a cycle you will be able to find the difference easily.

    Dear all,
step 1:   we have sales order of order type IEL1 in our sap system
step 2: then we do have order type IELB which is called billing request . this is created in va01 transaction against IEL1 sales order type. now here billing document is created.
at the time creation of billing request (order type IELB) we get data flown in from sales order of type (IEL1).
now my requirement is that pricing date and billing date needs to be today's date and not the past date which was in sales order.

  • Billing date of the invoice

    Hi,
I would like to ask where does the billing date of the invoice (billing type F2) is copied. Is it copied on the actual goods issue date? If that is the case, how about the billing date of an intercompany invoice ( billing type IV), from where does the billing date is copied? Thank you in advance for your help.
    Kind regards,
    Reyna Agustin

    Hi Reyna,
Yes you got it right. For Billing type F2 the Billing Date is copied from the Delivery doc field called as Actual Goods Issue Date.
And I think in intercompany invoice (IV) too the Billing Date is copied from the delivery doc as the same is created from the Delivering Plant and F2 Invoice which is sent to the customer is prepared from the Ordering Plant based on the Sales order. The Date which it takes into consideration is from main menu> GOTO-> Header--> Sales (here refer Document Date & Pricing Date field.)
Hope the above answers your query.
    REWARD if it helps you!!

  • Rate of exchange should be redetermined at the billing date

    Dear sap gurus,
client requirement is to ROE should be redetermined at the billing date.
copy control settings if we maintain c in vtfl at item level, will it solve my purpose.
i am wonder as of now how this ROE is determined by the system.
pls explain me the basic of how ROE is determined.
    regards
    phani

    Dear Phani,
    Wellcome back...
I guess my reply to your post on 12.10.2009 explains the your current issue.
Anyways, the Exchange Rate determined based on the following:
    1. Manual Entry (in Sales Order - exchange Rate feild. (This Manual entry has a priority over all others)
    2. If the Exchange Rate feild is blank then system takes Pricing Date as the base & looks for the exchange rate in OB08 for that date.
Here (for point no. 2 you have following options in Item Level Copy controls:
    Pricing Exhange Rate Type (V_TVCPFLP-PFKUR)
    A Copy from sales order
B Price exchange rate = Accouting rate
C Exchange rate determination according to billing date
D Exchange rate determination according to pricing date
E Exchange rate determination according to current date
F Exch.rate determination accord.to date of services rendered
    Hope this helps...

    bye

    Braja,
    Check this
Goto  the billing plan tab in the corresponding line item and check the rule that is determined. Now go to the configuration of this rule table by using the path
SPRO>SD> Billing> Billing Plan> Define rules for determining dates and choose your Applicable rule and click on the details.
There you will see the Calendar ID field where you will have to maintain the applicable factory calendar. I think this should work and your billing date on the item relevant for billing plan should be the same as the other item.
    Hope this helps,

  • Excange rate should trigger in the billing document as per the billing date

    Hi Folks,
    I have a below scenario.
Today I have created the Sales order and after 2 days I am creating the billing document. In the billing document the  exchange rate is triggering as per the sales order date, but I want  my billing document should be pick up the exchange rate as per the billing document  date.
Please help me on this issue.
    Thanks
    ANGKS.

    Hi,
Thanks for all your replays, but still my requirement is incomplete.
Once again I am explaining here.
Step 1. I created the sales order on 01/01/2009 and Delivery.
Step 2. I created the Invoice on the same day that is 01/01/2009 the system calculates the exchange rate from the sales order pricing date which is on 01/01/2009.
Step 3. I have created the Intercompany Billing document after 2 months i.e. march.
Mean while my exchange rates are changed.
My Intercompany billing document should pick up the exchange rate as per the billing document date. This is for the march.
But the problem is: My intercompany billing document is picking the exchange rate as per the pricing date in the sales order which is 01/01/2009.
As mentioned my intercompany billing document should calculate exchange rate for March.

  • Determining pricing condition currency according to billing date

    Hi All;
Although this is a so simple scenario, i couldn't get any succesful reply in the forum.
Let me explain this by an example:
    Sales Order TA
Material X = 10 EUR (Pricing Currency is EUR)
    Pricing date: 23.10.2009 (1 EUR= 2 USD)
    Document Currency:USD
    Billing Document F2:
    Billing date: 25.10.2009 (1 EUR=3 USD )
i want to calculate pricing condition currency according to billing date.
Total Price must be : 10X3=30 USD and of course pricing date must be: 23.10.2009
    how could we achieve this?
before your reply, please consider my advices:
1.i don't want use pricing type "B" in VTFL. "G" is a preferable one.
2.in my VTFL configuration Pricing Exchange Rate Type is "C Exchange rate determination according to billing date"
3..OSS Note 92613 serves a simple solution. But i couldn't apply this note. I changed my routine according to this note, but it has no effect. Is there anyone who used this note succesfully?
4.someone said that it is possible to achieve this scenario by using some user exits, if this is correct, could you please say user exit's name?
    thanks Gurus..
    Edited by: streptomagma1 on Oct 26, 2009 8:43 AM

    Pricing date: 23.10.2009 (1 EUR= 2 USD)
    Billing date: 25.10.2009 (1 EUR=3 USD )
Do you mean to say that on ob08, different exchange rates were maintained on 23-10-09 and 25-10-09 ??

  • How to copy the Planned GI date as the pricing date in Invoice

    Hi!!,
For this requirement we want the price the product based on the Planned GI date and not the actual GI date...For some case when Planned GI date was early and we shipped late.It means we would be creating the Invoice later than the Planned GI date and hence the billing date would be my pricing date in the Invoice which will be the later date....
We want that the pricing should be as on Planned GI date.....is there a standard way we can accomplish this using configuration?
Helpful answers would be handsomely rewarded.
    Thanks

Hi, I had a similiar reqmt but in that case we wanted the Pricing date from the Sales Order to be copied into the Billing Document Pricing Date (for the correct pricing) instead of the Actual GI Date from the Delivery to flow to the same.
We achieved this using ABAP by making a copy of the Data Transfter routine found in Data VBRK/VBRP field in the copy control and adding the required codes to it. Hope this gives you some lead.

  • Can we change the pricing date in invoice

    hi gurus,
can we change pricing date invoice
i am able to change billing date not pricing date.
can any one help in this regard
    points awarded.
    kishore

    hi,
    follow this  and check.
    1. u can change your pricing date directly in the Sales order document. but the required delivery date u have to see. b'coz in std sap it is for 7 days.
    2. u can change the pricing date in the sales document header level (VoV8) under requested delivery date/pricing date option.
    3. while at delivery the selection date  u should check. Its should be selection date= material availablity date/tranportation planning date.
    4. posting date u should check while u r doing MB1C.
after all u create the order and see.
