Bin tables in Oralce10g

Hi All ,
i have my oralce database in 10.2.0.4 in datawarehouse envirinment.The database creates a lot of tables for temporary purpose and then drops them.In this process the recycle bin sizes goes to 100 gb where as total dbsize is 400gb.My question is weather this recyclebin size of 100gb contribytes to overall cold backup time of the database? to be more specific should i clear recyclebin before cold backup so as to reduce backup time ?

For a full datafile backup it doesn't matter if a block is used or not.

I've upgraded to 2.1 from version 1.5.4. Everything seems to be going well but in some of my databases I am now seeing loads of BIN$ tables appearing in the tree browser, for example: BIN$/0LHlBHOQgayX35sjRi7mw==$0
Has anyone else seen this or is there a way to get the tables to disappear?

For performance issues, tables from the recycle bin are listed by default now (before they were excluded by code).
To lose them, just apply the "Exclude recycle bin" filter (right-click the Tables node).

Generating an XML Document from an internal table in ABAP

Good day to all of you;
With ABAP, in the R/3 system, I'm trying to figure out a way to accomplish the following:
1) SELECT a set of Purchase Order data into an internal table.
2) Generate an XML document, containing the above data, using a specific schema.
I've been playing around with function module SAP_CONVERT_TO_XML_FORMAT which has the following interface:

I'm uncertain as to whether or not the Export parameter, I_XML_DOC_NAME refers to some schema or definition and therefore have been excluding it. In doing so, the generated XML document seems to use the field name/type information from my itab for the tags.
If this function module requires an XML Document Name, how do I create one and where do I store it in R/3? If this is not the recommended solution, is anyone familiar with a way to load an XML schema, retrieve some data then have SAP generate an XML document using the schema?

Xml data to abap internal table

I'm presently working on a interface where data in abap internal table is converted into xml format and placed in the frontend and vice versa.
I'm through with the first part and in secodn part also I'm able to transfer the data from frontend to Document Object Model(DOM) by parsing but finally am not able to put it into an internal table.
Please help (Urgent).

Given the following xml file .the requirementis to display and transfer the xml file to internal table usin transformation and gui_upload.If any onehaving simple code on this please send .
Can any one sugest the steps to be followed to write source code using simple transformation.

How to write transformation code for the following xml data.. Please let me know immedately if any one know..
I have written as following but i encountered an eror staating -
Iam facing the following error
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_ST_REF_ACCESS', was not caught in
procedure "UPLOAD_XML" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
The goal was to access variable "ROOT1". However, this access was not
possible.
Go through my xml file , the code and code in simple transformation.. Please reply(transformation code) me as soon as possible

XML file to Internal table through XSLT - Call Transformation

Hi Friends,
I am trying to work a scenario where i have a simple XML file and i need to convert the data in to an internal table. When i execute the XSLT seperately, it works fine. I get the output, but when it is invoked through a ABAP program, i am getting the error "The called method START_XSLT_DEBUGGER of the calss CL_WB_XSLT_DEBUGGER returned the exception CX_XSLT_FORMAT_ERROR"
I feel my XSLT program is not correct, but i am unable to find out what the issue is. Any help is really apreciated. I have gone through the SDN forum replies. But could not figure out what is wrong with my program

How to convert internal table data to text

data : RES_CONTEN type string.
My problem is in inernal table IT_COMM there will be 7 to 8 rows of data is there
when iam sending into Res_content it is showing only last row of IT_COMM
there after iam converting into Ftext, after that iam creating document.
what i have to do get complete data of IT_COMM
is there any standard RFC is ther to convert table to text ?

How to use gui_download 's filetype of 'bin'

Hello,experts ,the detail of my problem as follows:
I use gui_download to download the invoice data :filetype is ASC,the download file is .txt file with tab as the field 's separator.

Create Spool from Internal table & converrt the spool to PDF

My requirement is take data from a table and find amount specific to each Vendors . So I took all the data into ITAB and do all the calculation. Later after calculation I have to create a spool from this ITAB and this spool have to convert to PDF. Later this PDF have to seend via email.

Getting OTF spool into internal table

Hi experts !
I am trying to get an OTF spool into an internal table (in order to send it to a web application).
I use FM CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF :
    PARAMETERS : p_spoolid LIKE tsp01-rqident.
    DATA : lt_numbytes TYPE i,
           lt_pdf TYPE TABLE OF tline.
    CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF'
      EXPORTING
        src_spoolid              = p_spoolid
      IMPORTING
        pdf_bytecount            = lt_numbytes

A strange thing is when I save it as a local file (for testing purpose) using GUI_DOWNLOAD, I have a nice readable PDF file ...
