Blackberry Travel providing travel updates to an old BB I no longer own

I've owned numerous BB phones as I upgrade constantly.  Recently, after adding a new trip to BB Travel, a friend of mine who purchased a Z10 from me received an update on her Z10 about my travel plans.
Before I sold her the Z10, it was wiped and she activated it with her own BBID. 
Since she is the only one I know who purchased one of my older phones and is receiving updates, I'm not sure what is going on with the other BB phones I've sold in the last while (specifically, I've gone through a Passport, Q5, and another Z10 and I've returned to my carrier a few Z30's and Z10's in the last couple of years as well with no idea where they have ended up).
On the BB Travel web site, there is nothing to see what devices are tied to my account.  The only element under 'Profile' is the ability to add email addresses associated with the account.
I tried logging into BlackBerry Protect and oddly enough the Passport which I sold 3 months ago (wiped before hand and the new owner activated it under their own BBID), was listed and I removed that from my account.  However there is no Z10 listed.
Under BlackBerry Link, there seems to be an old Z10 still linked to my account which I can't remove (can't check the box) and states in yellow text beside it 'Device software 10.1 or higher is required for remote file access'.  However, this seems to be a much older Z10 and not the one I sold to my friend.
And finally under BB World, if I sign in the list of devices includes 3 Z30's, a Passport, the Q5, and 4 Z10's.  However, I've been told by BlackBerry Support that these are just a recent list of devices and technically not ones tied to your account (though I don't know how much I believe that is correct).
So, my best guess is that somewhere on BB databases, my BB Travel app account is still tied to my old PIN.  The question, I guess, becomes how can I get it removed as I'm not keen on the idea that others are receiving updates to my travel plans.  Having a friend see it is one thing but what about the others who now own my old BB phones?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
The one thing I did try was deleting the app and tried to reinstall.  However, for whatever reason the app will no longer work on my phone.  After reinstalling it wont sign in automatically (as it has done before), and if I try to log in manually, it just hangs.  Deleting the app, doing a hard reset, and then reinstalling the app didn't help either and I'm not keen on doing a device wipe just to fix BB Travel (as I'll just give up on it first).

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

    Here's the deal: You can update iPhone software on any computer, as updating software does not touch any user data or settings...unless something goes wrong(rare). If something were to go wrong, and this is not the computer you normally sync with, you could lose ALL of your data. You also do not want to sync, if this is not the computer you normally sync with. So, make sure you disable auto-sync under iTunes>Preferences>Devices first. Do not sync after you update.

    If you simply just changed the email associated with that appleid you can just delete and Re-download the apps.
    You can verify  the above step by going to the App Store on device > Updates>Purchased - if you see the app there just delete it from the home screen and redownload from the purchased section
    Now if you got rid of that account entirely, you will have to delete and re-purchase on your new account

    The information outlined below details what to do should you not receive the verification code when setting up Keychain.
    Make sure that you have a strong cellular network connection on your phone.
    Make sure that your phone number can get SMS messages. To check, ask someone to send you a text message.
    Make sure that the correct phone number is associated with your account:
    On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, tap Settings > iCloud > Keychain > Advanced. (In iOS 7, tap Settings > iCloud > Account > Keychain.) Make sure the phone number under Verification Number is correct. If not, enter another phone number. 
    On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences. Click iCloud, then click Options next to Keychain. (In OS X Mavericks or earlier, click iCloud, then click Account Details.) Make sure the phone number under Verification number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.
    If you can't access a device that has iCloud Keychain enabled, contact Apple Support and verify your identity to get help setting up iCloud Keychain.

  • BB Travel doesn't update Exchange calendar (email?)

    Hello, I was a happy user of BlackBerry travel in my old device. I have a Z10 now but can't get BB travel update my Exchange Outlook calendar as it used to be.
    I've tried different things including deleting and re-installing the app.
    I suspect that it may have to do with my email address.
    I have one BB Id email address -my personal one- but I want to get my travels update my work email address.
    This was not a problem with BB Travel 2.5.18 in my old Curve.
    I created my Travel account with my device account (personal email) and then changed my primary email account by my work email in the configuration options (with my laptop).
    However, BB travel still shows my email as the personal one in my Z10.
    IN other words: BB travel will always show my BB id email account (personal) even if I set as primary one my work email. That's probably the reason why I don't get my calendar updated.
    As said, this was not a problem before.

    On BlackBerry 10 smartphones, BlackBerry Travel uses the BlackBerry ID to migrate trip data.  If you would want all the data to go to a specific calendar you may want to create a second BlackBerry ID for the work email address.  This can be created by going to www.blackberry.com/blackberryid

    We are planning to merge this two application and create a new application, So the new app will have new package name, new module name and new app name and this is different from our existing app A & B that we are currently serving in the market.
    Now what we want is, When we release this new App in the market App C, we want existing App B user to get upgrade notification from Blackberry App world that the new version/app is available for them and when they download new app C should replace the older app B.
    So can anyone please provide your thoughts and Idea about what should be our approach in getting this.
    We tried some test on our end and figure out that if we keep the cod name of our new application similar to existing app which is there in the market, then when user downloads it blackberry will prompt to override/replace the old app with new app, but the problem is earlier we have individual cod files for each device and In our new App we have a Single build/cod files for each OS version like 4.5/5.0/6.0 etc.

    I just found out that Apple is no longer providing security updates on Mac OS X 10.5. What can I do to keep my comupter safe? I bought my laptop in Sept. '08 and I am not inclined to fork over a couple of thousand dollars when I have a perfectly functioning laptop. Any advise out there? Thnx

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
    Here's a 100% effective (though not necessarily practical) solution:
    Never connect your computer to the internet, never insert a disc or flash drive from anyone else, never purchase any new software, and use the computer to write and print only actual letters, never connect to email.
    Your computer will continue to function as it does now until it wears out, without being vulnerable to any new security threats out there, and will continue to work just fine on OS X 10.5 without any future security measures.
    On a side note, I have a 16-year-old car I spent thousands of dollars to purchase new, but I've been driving it on the metal rims for a while now, because I'm not inclined to fork over money for tires, when I have an otherwise perfectly functioning car.
    Then there are alternatives that cost money:
    Purchase and install an antivirus program and keep it updated.
    Upgrade your computer memory and hard disk if necessary so you can install OS X 10.6 'Snow Leopard', or OS X 10.7 'Lion'  Snow Leopard is still supported by Apple for the moment, but support and security updates for 10.6 will likely be discontinued soon after OS X 10.8 'Mountain Lion' ships later this year.
    Even though we want computers to be assets that retain or increase in value over time, the economic reality is that computers are best thought of as commodities and/or consumables that depreciate, become obsolete, and wear out, like cars, tires, and batteries. A restored 1965 Mustang Convertible, and a 2012 Mustang Convertible probably cost about the same. Which one is much safer, much faster, rides much better, and gets much better fuel mileage?
    Your computer WILL be worth less five years after you purchase it than the day you bought it. The mechanical parts (hard disk) will eventually wear out. The microprocessor inside yours operates at perhaps 1/4th the maximum speed of the slowest current model. The latest video chipsets provide huge performance gains over 2008 technology. But if your current computer truly meets all your needs, then indeed there is no reason to update or upgrade.

    The problem with those two apps is that they are supposed to be in your Apple ID and you didn't set up the Mac properly/completely when you got it.
    You might try deleteing them and using OS X Recovery to install them again.

    After that, before you open any iLife apps go to your Mac App Store account, to the Purchased pane and Accept them into your account.

    Apps are DRM protected and tied to the account used to originally obtain them. They cannot be transferred to another iTunes account nor updated using another iTunes account.     In the Finder do a Get Info on one of those files & the folder it's in, report what it says for privileges.

    Bing Maps offers a very good maps service with Bird's Eye, a feature similar to Flyover. It's arguably better than Google Maps.
