Blank Screen!! Help Plz!!

So I have the 60gb color photo...everthing was working fine up until a couple of weeks ago I noticed that the screen would just go blank. It plays music but I can't see the playlist at all.
I restored it factory settings...updated my iTunes..recieved any new updates for the iPod...it's still going blank on me. Even the whole wheel reset thingy doesn't do anything....
Is it on it's way out? LOL.

From my own experience reparing iPods, I would say that has a defective screen. Obviously it's hard to say without running some diagnostics, but if I had to say it was something, I would put the blame on the screen. Luckily, that's a pretty inexpensive repair when compared to the other repairs.
You could send it to a third party repair company... prices typically range from $60 to $100 for screen replacements. At my own repair company, we charge $65.00 for LCD replacement service, including return shipping to you.
Same thing goes for a solid white screen. Either way, if you have an issue where there's no display, but the rest of the iPod works OK, point to the LCD screen as the issue.

You may want to try this.
Solution A
Start up your MBP while pressing Option (alt)|, Command, P, R until your hear 3 chimes rather than 2 as indicated by apple. This worked for me the first time.
Solution B
Start your MBP while pressing Option (alt), Command, S
Hold until you see the computer automatic routine. When it finally stops type the following followed by "return":
fsck -fy
It will probably indicate some problem related to "pcscd.pub" (should be 16 instead of 17). I haven't figured out what this means but somewhere in the Internet i read it is related to scan cards...
More importantly this routine will fix any problems with your HDD similarily to disk repair. When it ends, it will tell you if it has fixed/modified anything. If it has, run the routine again by typing again "fsck -fy"
Lastly, reboot by typing "reboot" (followed by "return")
Solution C
Start up your MBP while pressing option (alt), command, S
hold keys until you see computer commands scrolling
when the routine stops type the following, each line followed by the "return" key:
mount -uw /
chmod 775 /
chmod 1775 /
reboot
After which your computer should reboot on it's own.
Each of the above has worked for me at one time or another. Once your computer has rebooted from the DVD you can reinstall OS X. If your problems started after installing 10.5.6, then I don't suggest updating until 10.5.5.
I'm very very disappointed with my 2007 MBP, it started to give me problems after 1 year. had to change the HDD and lately when I isntalled 10.5.6 it suddenly refused to start up., My previous Mac laptop (2003 866Mhz) worked for 4 years without a hitch. Ironically I've had to use it to access the internet and find solutions for my current MBP.

ITunes preferences opens with blank screen, HELP!

Alright so I was getting bored of the Windows Media Player interface, so I decided to go back to iTunes.
The installation went fine, but when I wanted to change my options/Preferences, it comes up with this weird blank screen.

I've searched on google and only found 1 thread about this with no answers. So I decided to come and ask here.
So I would REALLY appreciate some help because I've always liked iTunes better than WMP.

What version of iTunes do you have installed? Do you have any iTunes plugins?

If you create a new Windows Vista user, and log in to that user, do you still have the same problem?

Blank Screen- HELP PLEASE!!

My ipod mini has a blank screen. It went very faint suddenly and then the writing just disappeared. The screen still lights up and the music plays but its really hard to find the music without the screen and now I've lost it! I'm away from home (and my PC) so can't reset it as I can't put the music back on. Am REALLY stuck.

You can reset it. Just hold down the menu/select buttons until the Apple logo appears. Keep trying if it doesn't work first time, and if you have the charger, do it whilst it's plugged in.
Restting the iPod will not erase the music.

Battery w/a red line or bolt going through it and a blank screen- HELP

my phone was working and then I went to plug it in to charge, the screen went blank and a battery symbol with a red line through it came on. A Red LED light appeared. I tried to charge it for it was low but still nothing. I took the battery out and back in, charged it and still nothing. I had it charge all night and still the same blank screen w/battery symbol and red line.
do I need a new battery? what can I do to get my screen back and my phone working?? my phone was working prior to this.

Where did you get your battery? Make sure it is the correct one for your curve and I would take it back. Maybe it was an old stock battery?

Nokia X6 blank screen, help?

I've had an X6 16GB for about a month now, the first one broke within a week, i turned it off, when i turned it back on all i got was the white screen with the nokia logo on it and that was it, it stayed like that. Orange sent me a new one but it's done it again, this time after 3 weeks. Its only happened when i've turned the phone off then turned it back on. I've tried taking the battery out, i've tried charging it, its just stuck on the nokia start up screen. Is this a common problem with the phone or is it just my bad luck?

From what I have read here and on other forums it's quite a common problem, more so with the latest batch of touch screen phones like the N97, 5800 & X6...

There are number of supposed different sources for this problem and no definite single cause. The good news is that there is a work-around to this issue (NOTE: not a fix) of the S60v5 White Screen Of Death where the phone locks up on start up at the white screen with blue Nokia logo...
- Switch phone off (or pull battery out and put back in)
- plug in the phone charger, as soon as the screen lights up pull the charger pin out of the phone.
- when the screen goes black switch on the phone
- plug the charger back into the phone when you feel the start-up vibration
- phone should start instead of hang
From what I have read on another forum this work around seems to work for a number of users and saves having to reset the handset or format the memory card / hard drive.

Hi everyone, my game center has been stuck on the 'loading' screen for about a week now and I am annoyed because I cant see my friends Highscores or play multiplayer online. Please help. I dont know what to do because all the gamecenter problem solutions require me to be in the game center, and I cant get there seeing as it is still loading after a week of waiting. Does anyone know what I can do? I need your help ASAP please......

W500 cant boot blank screen. help.!

After setting, the bios default graphics card to discrete. My w500 cant boot up.. No display at all and only left 2 light, charging led and the.one beside the battery both stable.. Anybody know the work around or are there any ways to reset the bios? I tried blind hitting f1, then f9 enter and f10. Nothing happen...

there is no detailed step by step. You have to reflow the ATI GPU. For methods of reflowing, i think you can look on YouTube. You would need to remove the motherboard to do this.

Since my T500 and W500 were stolen, i dont have any machines to take a picture of the approximate heatsink location.

Ipod blank screen after reset

My ipod (video) wasn't appearing in itunes, but was appearing on desktop. tried to install updater, but got an error message: something like "array array with object. attempt to insert nil." Tried reset and now have totally blank screen.

I was having the same problem with my iPod. None of the usual answers in the forums would fix the problem. So I went to the Apple store. At first, one of them said that the dinging noise meant that the battery was low. But then they plugged it in and said, "oooooh, right." They didn't elaborate.
At any rate, they replaced my iPod (I have Apple Care). When I plugged in the new one, I still got the "attempt to insert nil" message. But I was able to unplug my ipod and reconnect it successfully the second time.

Try to reset it by holding the power an home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release. If it won't reset, you'll probably have to force it into recovery mode and restore it, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808.

HELP with Satellite Series - P305-S8837; displaying blank screen with cursor

Help! I have a the P305-S8837 laptop in the Toshiba Satellite Series. I have had the laptop for several months now and it's been working fine until now. I was using it this morning (on the internet) and it started freezing up and so I hit Crtl + Alt + delete and selected the option to restart. It restarted and asked which mode I wanted to start it up in (safe mode, safe mode w/networking, etc.) and I selected the normal option. It started out fine - little windows logo came on with the sound and then went into the Welcome Windows Home Vista premium page (that's like bluish greenish) and then afterwards the screen just goes blank with the exception of the mouse cursor. I let it sit for about an hour and there was no change. I have tried pressing the Crtl + Alt + delete and that has had NO affect. So i manually turned it off and then back on using the power button and tried starting it up in Safe mode w/networking and then just safe mode - both are able to get to the welcome screen but after that it's just a blank screen with cursor and it says safe mode and stuff on the border. Crtl + Alt + delete does not work in the safe mode w/networking but in just the regular safe mode it will go to that same screen that is the welcome and ask if I want to lock the computer, change users, start task manager or restart / shut down. I have selected the restart option and nothing happens and then the Crtl + Alt + delete option no longer works. I have tried manually starting the laptop with the battery unattached and just using the AC Adapter and that has had no impact. I have tried just using the laptop's battery only with no AC Adapter and that has had no impact.
As you can see, I am in desperate need of some assistance! Please tell me what to do!

Turn the computer on and immediately press and hold the F8 key.
On the Advanced Boot Options menu, choose Repair Your Computer.
When you reach the System Recovery Options menu, choose Startup Repair.
If that doesn't do the trick, go back to the System Recovery Options menu and do a System Restore.
If that doesn't fix things either, go back to the System Recovery Options menu, choose Command Prompt, and follow the directions here

Blank Screen and flashing cursor on new build-P67A GD65 (B3). Help needed.

As per the title, a computer was built for me with the following specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500k
Cpu Cooler: Arctic Freezer xtreme Rev 2.0,
Motherboard: MSI P67A – GD65 (B3)
PSU: Super-Flower Amazon 550W
RAM: 4GB G.Skill RipJaws-X, DDR3, 1600
HDD: 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3 7200rpm
Graphics Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 Xtreme - 1 GB GDDR5
Disc Drive: Samsung SH-223C DVD+RW
Case: Cooler Master 690 II LITE Midi-Tower
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
Everything went ok with the build and installation of the OS. Computer was booting ok. When I took the computer home that evening, powered it on and a blank screen with a flashing cursor on top left hand corner appeared. Tried several times but failed to boot up properly. Just to note that I can enter into the BIOS and it recognizes HDD, processor, Disk Drive and RAM. What I have done so far (of course with advice from computer experts as compared to me) are the following:
1. I removed all the parts except cpu and cooler then put them back. When I restarted a message appeared that win7 need to do a repair. It went thro the process and then it stated it can’t do repair. Did this twice. When I restarted the third time, a blank screen with the blinking cursor appeared again.
2. Cleared the BIOS using the button on the outside of the motherboard and also once using the jumpers inside the motherboard. After doing this, I pressed on the “”ON” button several times (with no power on to the computer) to dissipate any current that was left there.
3. Interchanged the RAM on different slots. Also tried using only 1 stick of Ram at a time.
4. Checked the HDD on another machine and it was ok. Formatted the HDD on the other machine, plugged onto new machine and tried to install OS again but no joy.
At this point, I’m now stuck after almost a month when the machine was built. Would it be the motherboard? RAM? etc. Just wondering if I should RMA the motherboard since it is just over a month when it was delivered.
A point to note, there is a message that comes up when it is booting stating no HDD is detected. I googled this but found out it was to do with a marvel adapter that needs to be disabled or something like that. However, it was mentioned that this wasn’t going to affect the performance of the pc as the BIOS can detect all the components.
I also noticed that when I switch on the pc, there is a small pause before it kicks on then there is a long beep followed by 2 small beeps. I presume this is normal.
Any help on this will be highly appreciated?

Disable EuP 2013 & that should take care of the pause. The beeps are normal at startup. Only time I have observed a blank screen & blinking cursor is if the system wasn't getting enough juice to initialize, or their was insufficient power in an OC attempt. What kind of +12V amps does that PSU you have provide?

I can't download apps! Every time I try, it asks me to chose a security question and I try, but I just comes up with a blank screen and I can't choose a question. If I click no, I don't want to put security questions, it doesn't install the app. HELP!

I can't do it! I am willing to add questions but I can't because it just shows me a blank screen. I even tried rebooting my entire iPad2 and that didn't work. I know it is not a certain app because I tried multiple ones.... HELP!

1) Quit App Store in multi-tasking.
•From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
•Tap and hold on the app.
•When it starts to jiggle, tap the red ⛔ in the top corner to close it;

4) Tap Clear History.

You can middle-click or Ctrl left-click the Home button on the Navigation toolbar to open the Home page in a new tab.
