Blocking data from displaying in FS10

Hi experts,
I want to block some data with a particular account number from displaying in Tcode FS10. Is it possible through user-exit? Please let me know in details. What is the process?

Please ask basis guy to maintain GL authorization group against auth object F_SKA1_BES for user profiles. Activity 03 will help him in doing so. This object is for GL display and it can be restricted by putting GL authorization group for certain activities.

Extracting date from table, format problems

I am working on scm side, where i need to get the creation date of material from table /sapapo/matkey .
The problem is the field has a time stamp .
intially i was using fm : CONVERSION_EXIT_TSTLC_OUTPUT
to get the date , but the problem is this fm is not correct , as it depends upon the user date format , and gets date from display
of the table rather than the server . This is giving me an error
as the date format can be different everytime , it can be yyyymmdd or yyyyddmm.
Which is the way of firstly getting creation date from the time stamp , and in the format stored by databse.

So finally whatever be the user date format , i should use the time stamp and get the date , in one standard format always.
It can either be yyyymmdd or YYYYddmm , so that i can set the input for bapi accordingly.

How to populate data from bol to assignment block.

I saw on sdn discussion similar questions, but have not found the suitable answer.
I need to add fields for BP using EEWB and to work with this field in WEB UI. For achievement of it I have executed following steps:
1. Using EEWB has added new z u2013 fields to BP. This fields have appeared in tcode bp on a tab "customer data". Besides I have seen this field in created z u2013 BOL.
2. Using tcode BSP_WD_CMPWB has created z bsp component.
3. In z bsp component has created view and custom controller which correspond earlier created z - BOL. Also has created following binding:
   owner->do_context_node_binding(
            iv_controller_type = cl_bsp_wd_controller=>CO_TYPE_CUSTOM
            iv_name = 'ZBP_S_INF/NumBpOutSYS'
            iv_target_node_name = 'ZZ9BHEEW'
            iv_node_2_bind      = ZZ9BHEEW ).
4. Has redefined method DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT and would make modify the *.htm file for the purpose on toolbar there were buttons of editing of the data.
5. Has adding z - assignment block to bp_head component.
At start WEB UI the assignment block it is visible in list displayed blocks of account data. In this block there are buttons on toolbar. But in this block the data is not displayed. Though really data there is, as they are displayed in tcode bp.
Please inform as to populate the data from bol to z u2013 component. I assume that it is necessary for me to create get_ methods. But methods get_ and set_ do not cause query.
Iu2019m work in CRM 7.0.

There are so many things wrong with this VI, I'm not even sure where to start.
Hard-coding paths that point to your user folder on the block diagram. What if somebody else tries to run it? They'll get an error. What if somebody tries to run this on Windows 7? They'll get an error. What if somebody tries to run this on a Mac or Linux? They'll get an error.
Not using Read From Spreadsheet File.
Use of local variables to populate an array.
Cannot insert values into an empty array.
What if there's a line missing from the text file? Now your data will not line up. Your case structure does handle this.

Pull the data from legacy System into report and display with SAP data

Create report by processing data from SAP tables and prepare output.And Before displaying the output, I have to pull the data from non-sap system which is readymade (It will come as flat file with similar fields as Report structure has) and finally display the records from both SAP and Legacy System by filtering duplicates.

Is it possible to retrieve data from 2 different columns of 2 different tables and display it in the same column of a datablock in a form.
For example:

The column from the datablock in the form should display the following:

You can create a view
select ... from table_a
union
select ... from table_b
and base the block on that.
However, if you want to allow DML on the block it gets more complicated.

Data from another table, to be displayed on table based screen

I have a block that is based on one table, if I found the record(s) on that table I will display it on the forms, No Problemo. But, if record(s) was not in the said table, I have to get the data on another table and then display it on the same forms. Is there someone who can show me how I can get the data from another table and display it on screen that is based on another table?

The problem is in the delimiters in your text file. By default, Read From Spreadsheet File.vi expects a tab delimited file. You can specify a delimiter (like a space), but Read From Spreadsheet File.vi has a problem with repeated delimiters: if you specify a single space as a delimiter and Read From Spreadsheet File.vi finds two spaces back-to-back, it stops reading that line. Your file (as I got it from your earlier post) is delimited by 4 spaces.
Here are some of your choices to fix your problem.
1. Change the source file to a tab delimited file. Your VI will then run as is.
2. Change the source file to be delimited by a single space (rather than 4), then wire a string constant containing one space to the delimiter input of Read From Spreadsheet File.vi.
3. Wire a string constant containing 4 spaces to the delimiter input of Read From Spreadsheet File.vi. Then your text file will run as is.
Depending on where your text file comes from (see more comments below), I'd vote for choice 1: a tab delimited text file. It's the most common text output of spreadsheet programs.
Comments for choices 1 and 2: Where does the text file come from? Is it automatically generated or manually generated? Will it be generated multiple times or just once? If it's manually generated or generated just once, you can use any text editor to change 4 spaces to a tab or to a single space. Note: if you want to change it to a tab delimited file, you can't enter a tab directly into a box in the search & replace dialog of many programs like notepad, but you can do a cut and paste. Before you start your search and replace (just in the text window of the editor), press tab. A tab character will be entered. Press Shift-LeftArrow (not Backspace) to highlight the tab character. Press Ctrl-X to cut the tab character. Start your search and replace (Ctrl-H in notepad in Windows 2000). Click into the Find What box. Enter four spaces. Click into the Replace With box. Press Ctrl-V to paste the tab character. And another thing: older versions of notepad don't have search and replace. Use any editor or word processor that does.

Issue with display data from infoset

Dear Experts,
When I am trying to display data from BI INFOSET in (Execute in background ctrl+F2)backend it is working fine but when in try to run the execution in forground (execute F8) then the system gets hang.. and time out. could any one has this kind of experience. if so kindly let me know do i need to implement any patch or else which way i can do work to resolve this issue.

Is it possible that the problem comes from R/3 since when I check the extractor 0FI_GL_40 with the RSA3 Tcode I've got the message:
Errors occurred during the extraction --- Message no. RJ012
I think that the pb has been solved by switching on the business function "Reporting Financials" . Inthe SAP source System -> TA: SFW5. Turn on Reporting Financials. Then I've no pb while testing the extractor.

I want to display data from blob datatype field, which contains HTML and GIF both files.
If I set it's property from file format IMAGE then i get data only gif.

Hi Juned
What I suggest is that you may have overlapping fields. One to show HTML and other to show GIF. You need to add one more column to your table in order identify if the BLOB is GIF or HTML.
In the Format Trigger of each of these two fields, inspect the value of flag column and hide one field if the datatype is not its type.
For instance, if flag field is 0 then hide Image field and show HTML field. If flag field is 1 then show Image field and hide HTML field.
