Hi Nirjhar
Block Sales Document Type / Delivery / Billing by Customer
When there is a temporarily stop of business with a customer, you can block new orders to be created for this customer. You can have the options of blocking all the work flow or let the delivery and billing to continue for any open orders.
VD05 - Block/Unblock Customer
OVAS - Sales Order Type Blocking reasons
OVAL - Blocking reasons links with Sales Order Type
OVZ7 - Delivery Blocking reasons
OVV3 - Billing Blocking reasons
In 4.6x, if you found that your Sales Order Billing Block is not working, it is because you need to build the Billing Block for the Billing Type.

  • Block Accounting Document Type

    Hi,
    I want to block accounting document type. Please let me know which tcode or path I use for the same.
    Thanks & Regards,

    HEllo,
    The solution provided by S. Viswanatha R...  is possible, but it would be a problem for the users ( it sounds as a workaround). Maybe the user try to post the document and will not understand why they cannot post.
    The solution suggested by mr. Joshi would be more feasible, since you can define a custom message to your validation rule and the users will understand the constraints about the document type.

  • Clearing Block by Document Type in GL posting

    Hi Gurus,
    I'd like to know if possible to insert a clearing block by document type in the GL account open item management. I must block the clearing for two document types.
    I tried with a substitution to populate the field 'clearing document' with a dummy value but doesn't works.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance,
    Best Regards
    Emanuele

    Hi Emanuele,
    If I understand you correctly, do you mean to say that you have defined a GL as open item but for postings with specific document type in that GL, you want to restrict the open item management for that Doc type.
    If this is the requirement, then I dont think this is possible. You cannot define a GL as OIM and then restrict OI for few postings in the same GL.
    Can you share your business requirement behind this..

  • MANSP Dunning block at document level display

    Dear Xperts,
    I dont see the field MANSP "Dunning block" at document level (for an invoice), transaction FB03. I have chequed the field status defined for the posting key, but I cant find this field. What can be the reason the I dont see this field at document level?
    Best regards.
    Cristóbal.

    Hi,
    Actually when the dunning run is executed, the documents gets the dunning block MANSP field and gets stored in table MHNK/ MHND. This block MANSP gets deleted from these tables when the dunning run is completed.
    Sometimes the entry remained there, even after the dunning run completion and thus not considering customer for any next dunning run.
    You can run the report RFMAHN21 in transaction SE38/ SA38 to check these blocked items.
    Also check the below OSS notes if not applied in your system:-

  • Dunning Block per document number

    Hi SAP Guru,
    Need your help.
    Scenario is like this:
    We are running the dunning letter and it always gives us no output.  Also, checked the Customer Master,  under Correspondence tab and field for Dunning Block is empty while payment methods under u201CPayment Transactionsu201D tab is also empty which is I think it should be to run the dunning.
    Upon further investigation,  I found out that the invoices are tag as u201CDunning Blocku201D via FBL5N per document number.  Can you explain how this happened? And why does per document number is tagged as u201CDunning Blocku201D despite the correct set up in Customer Master.  And how can we delete the tag per document or is there any mass update for this.
    Appreciate your thoughts on this.
    Thanks,
    Julie

    Hi,
    Thanks for the info.  As I checked if dunning block has been tagged in SO via Header --> Accounting Tab,  the field for Dunning block set to Freed for Dunning which I supposed should be.
    Any other solution on this.
    Thanks,
    Julie

  • Report for viewing credit limit block released documents

    Hello All,
    Our client's requirement- credit limit check to be carried out and authorised persons can release the blocked orders.
    But is there any report at month end to see how many documents were released and who released them  Is there any standard report for viewing these or ABAP has to develop them?  VKM2 transaction- released SD Documents would not show any released documents once billing is done i.e, once the sales documents is released it cannot be known who released it and when, how to track this?. so what can be the solution for this? Please suggest
    Regards,
    RAJ

    Dear Raja,
    Use VKM4 t code.
    You can see both credit released sales orders and deliveries.
    Put Overall credit status as D.
    You can see how much value was released, when it was released. But with which user id it was released you cant see it.
    Regards

  • How to block a document of being printed for some users??

    Hi everyone:
    Is it possible to let just some users to print a document ??, let's say a purchase order.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Ernesto,
    I've done that by creating a User Permission Tree for that purpose and setting the BubbleEvent = False for Pint and Print Preview menus based on the permission of the current user.
    Algorithm
    1. Create a User Permission Tree, either by code or by UI (AdministrationSystem InitializationAuthorizationsCreate additional Authorizations
    2. Catch the MenuEvent, when pVal.BeforeAction = True and MenuId = 519 (Print Preview) or 520 (Print). Then check if the user has, or not, permission to print. If he does not, then set BubbleEvent to false to block printing.

  • Block FI Document by default

    Hi,
    I want to every FI document posted by FB01 be blocked for payment by default, except a given document type.
    Can anyone tell me how ca i do this in costumizing ?
    Best regards,
    Paulo

    Hi,
    THe easy way to explain consolidation is like a prosses of  "bringing everything together". For example, the company has 10 Company codes, lets say, every or some of those company codes use differend charts of accounts. (May be some of they are in other countries and they have to use country based balance sheets). But the management wants to see the balance sheet for the whole company. For the Consolidation is done - bringing all the balance sheets together into one for the whole company.
    I hope it is clear now.
    Please assign points if useful.

  • Set Payment block for documents generated by txn FBCJ

    Is there a way to block the FI documents (receipts) from FBCJ?
    I mean, when we create a cash receipts (repayment froma a vendor).
    I set the payment condition in the vendor master data in order to block all the invoices generated but for the cash journal txn doesn't work.
    Is it possible to add the field Payment Condition (ZTERM) or Payment Block Status (ZLSPR) directly in FBCJ??
    Any idea??
    thx in advance.

    Dear Pham,
    I don't have any idea about down payment process, so straightly I can't answer your requirement

  • Payment block only document type UE

    Hi,
    My client requirement is to block payment only for UE type. How to achieve this? can anyone suggest me on this.
    govind

    Hi Govindraj,
    For blocking the payments for UE document types write a validation for any newly created documents.
    For the already posted documents try to create a test case using the transaction SCAT and record for FB09.
    where give the company code and fiscal year and select the account type lets suppose 'K' and click on document list and give the document type UE and execute and try to change the payment block as Bloack for payment i..,e "A" and save.
    If you already have the document numbers then try to record in that fashion and save.
    Then download the variant accordingly and execute.

  • Blocking of document created by cheque reversal

    Hi Experts,
    I am using transaction fch8 and reversing a cheque.
    The old document is also reversed and amount is reset.
    a new document is generated
    I now want to block the newly created document.
    When i go to FB02 the block field is greyed out and i can only make changes in assignment and text field.
    Can you let me know how to get the block field in edit mode and how i can block the newly created document
    Regards,
    Rishikesh

    The code lines:
    System.out.println( a );
    System.out.println( b );
    had the purpose to check if these two parameters were passed by another procedure. These two parameters, however, represent the content to be filled in the tag of XML document created by DOM.
    About the other question on "what parser do you use", I'm using Apache's Xerces. However that's the "import" that I include in this procedure:
    import org.apache.xerces.dom.DocumentImpl;
    import org.apache.xerces.dom.NodeIteratorImpl;
    import org.apache.xml.serialize.*;
    import org.w3c.dom.*;
    import org.w3c.dom.traversal.*;
    import java.io.*;

  • Dunning for blocked customer/document

    I block a customer/document for dunning.
    I run the dunning procedure on 2 separate occasions and the customer/document shows up both times in the dunning run, but doesn't print (which is good).
    Now if I remove the dunning block on the document/customer and run the dunning procedure a 3rd time, does the document receive a dunning level of 1 (since it has never printed) or a dunning level of 3 (since it showed up the 3rd time on dunning run).
    Basically, after a removal of a block, does the dunning level become 1 since the invoice never printed on previous dunning runs despite the fact it displayed on the dunning runs?

    You have blocked the account for dunning which means this account was not part of any dunning run. You can see in the customer master what is dunning level there. Should be Level 0.
    After removing dunning block , the account will be getting dunning level 1 when run the dunning . As the levels are based on days in errears, in the second run the account will be in dunning level 2 and in the third run it will be in level 3 based on the days in arrears. The accoount will not moved to level 3 directly.
