Blue Print View in JDeveloper 10.1.3.4

Hi,
whenever I open files in BPEL files in JDeveloper at the moment, I get an extra button top-left called "Blue Print View" and a blank pane below it. I don't know what it does or why it's there, and can't find any documentation on it, or settings/preferences related to it. If I click anything else on that toolbar, the "Blue Print View" button disappears and I see the BPEL view that I'm expecting. This started happening recently, and coincided with me starting to see many problems when I try to close file tabs that I've got open, e.g. I click on the [X] to close a tab and it just won't go away!
I remember attempting to add a BAM Server/BPA Server/Rules Engine in the Connections Navigator (I was just playing, I don't actually have one to connect to), and I wonder if these problems originated at about the same time.
Does anyone know what this "Blue Print View" is all about, and how I can get rid of it?
I am using JDeveloper Studio Edition Version 10.1.3.4.0.4270 under Windows XP SP2.
Cheers,
Paul

Hi Brent,
I don't know how to install exceptions manually. However why don't you try to install a different extension (e.g. junit integration), to see if the problem persists (is it a general problem with your jdeveloper installation / none of the extensions work??). Also try to start up the jdeveloper from the command prompt - are there any exceptions (e.g. IOException) logged on the console upon startup?
The problem might be related to file permissions, jdk version, or 64-bit win7 os (jdeveloper 10g not certified).

  • Synchronization problem prevents blue print import into JDeveloper

JDeveloper BPEL Model Chooser thinks "there are pending changes proposed by IT", but back in Business Process Architect there are no improvement proposals, nor tasks of system in the database. So far as I recall, I made no changes on the IT side.
BPELExport, line 10: There are pending changes proposed by IT which have not been accepted or rejected by Business user. Please have the Business user take appropriate action. (BPELExport#10)

    Hi,
AFAIK there are two possibilies that cause this issue:
    a) You tried to save IT-Changes from JDeveloper back into the BPA Repository and for some reason this step couldn't be finished.
    b) You copied and pasted a model within BArchitect (as described in the QuickstartGuide - chapter 8).
In 10.1.3.4 when IT updates a model, a copy in the same directory gets created (with a "(1)" at the end of the name) to not mess up the original one. When a model opens and it finds another model in the group with the same GUID it assumes IT has done this. In that case delete the copy and you should be able to progress. If you can't please create a new empty model and copy paste the content (Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V) from the original to the new one. After this you should be able to create a new BPEL-project from blueprint and so on. I hope you didn't put too much effort on the technical side (JDev).
    Best regards,
    Danilo

SAP DMS are for storing documents such as CAD drawings, Materials pictures etc.
With the document management system, users will be able to view the documents with ease within their SAP systems.
Installing the SAP DMS requires a little bit of planning on how you want to do it.
You have to give a little thoughts to stuff such as :-
    1. The total numbers of documents that will be store monthly.
    2. The average file size of each documents.
    3. The capacity of your present R/3 system.
    4. Your present network bandwidth.
    5. Document Archiving Strategy.
    6. Backup and Recovery Plan.
Additional purchasing of hardware are required, especially if you have large amount of documents to stored.
With this in mind, you can then decide on how you want to do it.
You can do this in a few ways :-
    1. Import the documents into the R/3 system.
    2. Use an external document server.
    3. Have a dedicated PCs where all the documents are stored.
Most companies that intend to used DMS will opt for Option 2 as they does not want to overstretch the R/3 database.
Options 1 requires you to setup the conversion interface.
The conversion interface allows R/3 to automatically covert your files and import it into the R/3 database.
Here is a simple example of storing documents into your PCs, just to have a feel how the SAP DMS works:-
For those using Citrix, you have to set this at the Citrix Server where the SAPGUI is located.
    Configure SM30 - V_TDWE_C1
Put this command in your autoexec.bat
    SET HOSTNAME=PC1234
    Restart your pc.
You can create/manage your documents in transaction code CV01N / CV02N
Assigning Documents to a Material Master Record
Access a material master record in Create or Change mode, and select Basic Data.
To create links to documents, choose Additional data -> Document data.
The Link to Documents dialog box appears.
Assign one or more documents to the material.
If you do not know what the document number is, you can search for it using the search help or by choosing Find document.
When assigning a document to a material, you have the following options:
    1. Viewing the document by choosing it in the Link to Documents dialog box.
    2. Viewing any originals of the document by positioning the cursor on the document and
choosing Display originals in the Link to Documents dialog box.
To return to the Basic Data screen, choose Continue.
    Save your data.
    Hope this helps you.

  • Officejet 7500A Print View

How do I print in booklet form with Print View?  I have Vista 32 bit and after downloading repeatedly (satellite), I think Print View won't load completely.  Is there a conflict with something?

Thank you for that information.  Welcome to the forums.  Have you tried using another browser?  Like, if you are using Internet Explorer right now (blue e icon), try Google Chrome or Firefox, or vice-versa.  It is rare that you get an issue where you cannot print from the internet so it is likely an internet option.  You can go into Tools>>Internet Options>>and see what your security settings are set to (perhaps they are too high).
You can also select the "Print..." button and see what printer it is trying to print to or look for error messages.
Again, that is just general advice.  If you need more help, I will need to know the name of the web browser you are using (IE10, Chrome, Firefox, etc) just so I can give you more specific details as I am always happy to help.
Don't forgot to say thanks by giving "Kudos" if I helped solve your problem.

  • Forming a blue print as it were

Pardon but could someone help me with a problem I have? Effectively I'm trying to learn how to take an image of the hand and break it down into something of a wire frame model as if I was trying to make a blue print. However, I have no idea what tools I should use to perform this tasks or where I should really begin.
I have tried using a few filters and the magic wand feature but the filters end up removing  alot of detail or not enough. I need to retain important things like the outline of the fingernails and the knuckles however I don't actually want to retain any coloring only the outline of the fingernails, nuckles and so on. Well it's pretty much like the title says I want to take a top down view of the hand, its two sides and the front view and reduce them down to a blue print or just the outline or the major details.
If anyone could point me in the right direction or offer some guidance it would be appreciated. I've attached one of the images I'm trying to learn to process. To anyone who read this thanks for your time.

I decided to play with your concept. I came up with two versions that might give you an idea of ways you could potential go. I did this quick and it's slightly off center.
    Tame version...
Spiced up with blend mode tricks.
I must confess I was lazy and started with Mtstuner's first hand version as a start point. That version I will call original image.
    1. I first made the paper. It is made up of 4 layers. The first three layers are all solid color fill adjustment layers. I selected three shades of blue...a dark, a medium and a light. In each solid color fill adjustment layer mask I ran the clouds filter; followed by the noise filter; followed by gaussian blur. Notes: Color chips should be set at default black and white before running clouds filter. Add Noise filter had a very low setting...mine is currently set at 4.8 so that is probably the setting I used. The gaussian blur filter is also set at a low setting...just enough to soften the noise.
1a. On top of the three solid color fill adjustment layers, I added a blank layer and used render<clouds on it. I placed this layer's blend mode into Soft Light.
    2. Next, I brought in the original version (Mtstuner's hand version). It rests above the layers I made in steps 1 and 1a. I inverted this layer. Ctrl + i if on PC; Cmd + i if on Mac. This makes the hand outline white and the background black. Now, change the hand layer's blend mode to Lighten to drop out the black background. Optional: I cleaned up the image so it was just the hand. I used black paint in a layer mask to hide the stuff I didn't want but if you don't have E9 you can use the eraser tool to erase what you don't want.
    3. I added a levels adjustment layer over the hands and used the sliders to make the hands firmer and more opaque. I clipped this levels adjustment layer to the hands layer. (With levels selected, go to menu and select Layer<Create Clipping mask if on E8 or above. If you have E7 or below, the command is Layers<Group with Previous. Alternately, you can use the shortcut...click on levels layer and press ctrl + G if on PC; Cmd + G if on Mac. Another method is to hold in the alt key and hover on the line that separates the layers and click when you see the double ring arrow icon. On the mac, hold in the opt key instead of the alt key.)
    4. I then clipped a blue to black gradient map layer to the levels layer. See step #3 for how to clip.
    Above shows steps 1-4
    5. Next, I made a grid. Create a new blank document 25 x 25 pixels fill document with black. Select<All then go to the menu and choose Edit<Stroke. Set it for 1 px…white…inside for stroke…okay. Choose Edit<Define Pattern from the menu. Name and save the pattern.
    6. Add a pattern adjustment layer and select the pattern you made in step #5. I set the scale up for 108. In the pattern's mask, I ran the clouds filter followed by the noise filter to make the grid fade and a little gritty. The grid layer is in Lighten blend mode with an opacity setting of 56%.
    7. Next, I added the blue to black gradient  Normal 100%…nothing masked entire image is covered by this gradient.
    8. I added the details…all text and shape layers were done using white and the blue to black gradient was clipped to each. The opacity of each text and shape layer was set around 75%. Gradient layers were left at 100%.
    9. To darken the edges, I added a blank layer and edged with black using a soft brush. This layer is set to multiply blend mode with an opacity setting of 25%.
    10. For a final step, I added a border and hid the grid under the border. I added the border by using the rectangular marquee and stroking it with 1 pixel white…inside. I then added my blue to black gradient to cover the white. To hide the grid, I went back to my patter layer and used the marquee to select what I wanted to hide and filled it with black. (I reselected my rectangular marquee area and used Select<Inverse then filled the mask with black.
    Above shows steps 5-10
Extra steps for the spiced up version:
Note: From here out, the original version is the completed image from step #10. I combined each of my layers by creating a blank layer and pressing ctrl + shift + alt + e on PC. If on a Mac, use cmd + shift + opt + e. Alternately make a duplicate of your image and flatten it.
    11. I added a brightness/contrast adjustment layer over the original (see note above). Brightness is +91;Contrast is +64. I placed this layer in linear dodge blend mode.
    12. I duplicated the original image duplicated twice (see note) and brought to top of stack. These were both placed in multiply blend mode.
    13. I duplicated the Brightness contrast adjustment layer and brought to the top of the stack. Leave in linear dodge blend mode.
    Above shows steps 11-13.

  • Creating a "Print View" of a Table on Another Sheet

    Hi-
I would like to create a "print view" of a table on another sheet that already has reorganization filters applied to it.  There is a template in Numbers called "Employee Schedule" that has exactly this, where the "printable" table's cells simply reference every cell in the source table on the other sheet.
I know there is a way to very quickly (i think with a dragging motion), create the references in each cell in one or two operations, as opposed to going to each individual cell and typing in the reference to the source table.  I saw a post about how to do this a while back but cannot seem to locate it again
How do I do this?  Thanks again for everyones help ;-)
    Thanks
    Matt

    Hi-
Re-reading this, I don't think this answered my question.  I understand how to reference a single cell, but how do you reference an entire table easily without having to go to each cell.
    Thanks
    Matt
    Matt,
Select the first cell by clicking once on it, such that the border is highlighted. Then grab the little circle in the lower right corner of the border and drag it to the end of your table, either right or down. You can use this method to fill down or to the right. Sometimes it can be fussy, and if it refuses to behave, then you can use the alternate method, Copy and Paste. Click once on the first cell and Command-C. Shift-click the last cell and Command-V.

Have done everything as told, and yet the problem still persists. Have try 3 computer with the user profile checked with the format 3,000.00 and yet the Print display of the PO still display 3.000,00.
    Hi Leo,
Pls check the destination country of the vendor assigned in the vendor master (for example if its USA) then follow the path..
IMG>>SAP Netweaver>>General Settings>>Define Countries in mySap Systems and double click on the country desired and check the decimal pt format is correct.
As told, you must check with the SMARTFORM settings and Sapscripts for the PO layout done by your ABAPer who should be able to help you.

  • Since upgrading to Mavericks - Problems with PowerPoint Print View

Since I upgraded to Mavericks recently, my Print View in PowerPoint 2011 has changed.  Prior to Mavericks I was able to see the full slide in print view.  Now when I preview a slide, the right hand side of the slide is cut off (about half inch).  Is there any thing I can do to fix it? Any advice will be most appreciated.

The driver should be part of OS X, not something you download.
This link shows supported HP printers (6800 but no 6840).
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3669#HP
I suggest you delete the printer, turn it off, restart your system, and turn the printer on and add it back in.

  • Can I set columns to automatically hide in Print View?

I'm making a reusable invoice / quote system for my sales division. I would save this as a template, and it needs to be idiot-proof.
My boss wants this to work the way our Filemaker Pro quote system works. In that system, we have a table where each row has the following: a description of the item being sold, the quantity being sold, our cost, a percentage that we want to mark up, the customer's price (cost*percentage), and extended price (customer price*quantity).
That's how I want the table to look to us, but when we enter print view, can I set it so two columns (our cost, percentage markup) are hidden automatically? We're not allowed to divulge our cost to customers, and I'd prefer it if those two columns disappeared automatically when we entered print view - my boss is a seriously technically-challenged individual, and if I told him he'd have to manually hide columns before printing (no matter how easy), I'm sure he'd balk at that.
The other idea I had is a separate sheet; we would work on the first sheet with the full table, and I'd have a second sheet in print view that had the abridged table. I'd have functions that just replicated the values in certain cells from the first table. This works great, but when I add a row to the first table, the second table doesn't add a row.
Does anyone know how to make either of these ideas work? Or does anybody have a better idea on how to do this?

Hi, we're mixing two different ideas I had. The first idea was to hide certain columns automatically in the same table when I entered print view. The second idea was to create a second table on a separate sheet that automatically replicated the values in the columns from the first table, I just wouldn't make columns for the things I wanted to hide.
Problem was, with the second idea, I only want to use as many rows as is needed for each quote. I'd like to start each table with just one row, and each time I add a row in the first table, I'd like the second table to automatically add a row.
This isn't really a crisis (I could just make the second table with 100 rows and delete the unused ones), but my technically-challenged boss is using it, and it would be nice if it worked exactly the way our FileMaker system works.

  • Print View in Numbers 3.0

I Need to see the print view in numbers 3.0. No longer an option under "view" tab. Also the page view I'm given does not align with the preview page when actually go to print - they look different and neither has transfered my document the same from previous numbers document.

Thats it I have spent alot of time trying to re format my reports from the older version of numbers to the new, I thought for a little while I could live without the page view as i spent alot of time lining up the gold lines as page breaks but now I for some reason cant find the photos I want to use they are only listed by their date and when used in the spreadsheet, they are not where they should be when printing, Im sorry for using this forum for venting but I am absolutely P.....ed off the amount of time I have spent for nothing.  I have really apple and speak very highly of them, and I just cant believe they could update a programme like this, did they even test it before they put out there.  What the F is going on. sorry but Im NOT HAPPY, I think I will now go back to excell definately.

  • Problem creating a PDF from the "print view" of a web page

When creating a PDF from the "print view" of a web page, the features in the print dialog box overlap. When the PDF is created, the words are garbled. e.g. words apppear as jzhhhxxf or zxihcj.

Use a job settings that embeds the fonts. If you look at the PDF, the font properties probably do not look correct and don't include embedded fonts. Also, set the printer to Adobe PDF before you try to do a print, so that the web page can try to properly adjust to the printer.
Why not just try opening the web site directly in Acrobat?
