BOM Error - WIP job not Releasing

Hi,
I've a issue with a BOM because of which all WIP job for the assembly are failing, I'm not sure what the issue is, Please find the explanation below.
WIP job fails when try to Release it and also when I try to simulate the wip job using standard Simulate WIP job form, and click component button, I get this message.
'if the component is assigned to non-existing operation 1, then the same component but of different basis type cannot be assigned to minimum operation, because the merging of the component quantity would fail'
The component for operation 1, I dont see it being used again in the BOM for operation 1 with different basis type, not even end dated operation.

Thanks for responding. Yes, I do see a phantom supply type. I flipped "Inherit Phantom Op Seq" (BOM > Setup > Parameters) which was checked to unchecked but I encounter same error when I try to simulate wip job.
I'm attaching data for ope seq 1 here, I'm showing end dated too. There are several other operation sequences too though.

Job not released in the given specified time(Job_close)

Hi,
I need to run a program through job.I created a job using JOB_OPEN
And submitted the job name and job count to the required program
And closed the job using JOB_CLOSE.
My problem is the job getting scheduled but not released/ processed automatically by the specified time I need to release it manually through SM37.
My code.
JOB_OPEN
SUBMIT VIA job_name and job count
l_time = sy-uzeit + 60.
CALL FUNCTION 'JOB_CLOSE'

After the above code execution SY-SUBRC is 8 and And the L_released is having balnk.If I pass start immediately the the job processed immediately. And the L_released is having X.

If you are trying to set up the job to start at some point in the future - use the SDLSTRTDT and SDLSTRTTM, but do not set the STRTIMMED to 'X'. You can either schedule it for the future (with the sy-datum and sy-uzeit+60 you desginated) or you can set it to begin immediately. But I don't believe you can do both.
In your code example, your are setting both the "start immediately" plus giving it a future date and time.
Give that a try and see if it helps.

Restrict documents from being assigned to a BOM while status is not release

Hi,
I need certain documents to be restricted while they are still 'In preparation' status.
Currently eventhough the status is not released, user can assign a document to a BOM.
I am sure i am missing something. Let me know if anyone has done this. We are not using ECM at this stage.

Hi,
You can do this via workaround of authorization matrix.
1. Create two users: Creator, Approver & Assigner
2. Creator will not have authorization to release the document as well as to assign the document to BOM. Authorization to release the document can be prevented by authorization object C_DRAW_STA. The authorization of object linkage is controlled by object C_DRAD_OBJ
3. Approver will have authorization to release the document.
4. finally assigner will have only document to access the change document when it is released and only then he/she will be able to assign the object linkage.
Or you can go for BASi/User exit at the time of save to control the same.

With a new iMac i can't print wirelessly to my existing HP or Epson printers. They currently work thru wireless network with my windows desktop. Both printers get the same error: printing job not accepted. They appear ro be recognized by the Mac. Help!

I've looked at many threads and tried suggestions from this site with no success. Neither printer (HP 1010 and Epson Artisan 810) are Airprint supported. in checking the printers via the imac in System Preferences the printer 'kind' is listed as Airprint. It sounds like you are getting this error message when trying to print to a Wi-Fi printer. I want to recommend the troubleshooting in this article named:
Troubleshooting printer issues in OS X

Make sure that the printer is powered on, has ink / toner, and that there are no alerts on the printer’s control panel. Note: If you cannot clear an alert on the printer's control panel, stop here and check the printer's documentation or contact the manufacturer for support.
Ensure the printer is properly connected to a USB port on the Mac or AirPort base station / Time Capsule. If the printer is a network-capable printer, make sure that it is properly connected to your home network.
Use Software Update to find and install the latest available updates. If an update is installed, see if the issue persists.

Delete the affected printer, then add the printer again.
If the issue persists, try these additional steps:

i am assuming that you have cleared the inspection lot by giving UD, Ensure that stock posting has been done.
if Not, then, post the stock using QA12.
if stock is already posted, then get the Material Document for 321 movement.
Cancel that Document.
and Repost using QA12.

Is there new sapnote in replacement of 1728283? I cannot view the details since error "Document is not released" will promt.

Job for alert data reorganisation is not release or running -ERROR BPM

Hi
I am trying to set up BPM in solution manager EHP1 .
I ahve created a business process and also added teh required job,When i try to generate and activate the BPM i get an error as
"Job for alert data reorganisation is not release or running"
kindly suggest what i need to do to resolve this issue, which job to be scheduled and also all details and also any relevant document for the same
i have a project dead line to be met kindly help me ASAP

Was it show red alert ?
Do you still get same alert if you generate and activate
the BPMon session ?
If yes, there seems some problem on job "BPM_ALERT_REORG".
Maybe it is scheduled but not released.
(do you see scheduled job in SM37 ?)
1st, according to your description, you use ehp1.
In that case, as described in note 521820, do you already have
required note. Especially related to ST-SER like following.

1298310
1319473
1332197
1355132
1390111
I quickly checked description of each note, but could not find out
correction related to alert reorganization job. But it is better to
implement above notes if you do not have yet.
And if you still have problem (try generation and activation again)
even with above note, I recommend you to create SAP customer message
for component "SV-SMG-MON-BPM".

Proposal has been sheduled, job was not released

Dear Fi Experts,
In F110- Automatic payment process, while creating proposal the system throwing error
Proposal has been shedulded 03.03.11 10:06:27
Job was not released
Parameters maintained in the prosal is correct, payment method, vendor balance and additional log
while saving the prosal system throwing the error. Same i tried in the quality server its working fine.
Can you explain why it happens?

It can be some authorization issue, I recommend you to check this with your basis team.

Job Cancelled with an error "Data does not match the job def: Job terminat"

Dear Friends,
The following job is with respect to an inbound interface that transfers data into SAP.
The file mist.txt is picked from the /FI/in directory of the application server and is moved to the /FI/work directory of application server for processing. Once the program ends up without any error, the file is moved to /FI/archive directory.
The below are the steps listed in job log, no spool is generated for this job and it ended up with an error "Data does not match the job definition; job terminated".Please see below for more info.
1.Job   Started
2.Step 001 started (program Y_SAP_FI_POST, variant MIST, user ID K364646)
3.File mist.txt copied from /data/sap/ARD/interface/FI/in/ to /data/sap/ARD/interface/FI/work/.
4.File mist.txt deleted from /data/sap/ARD/interface/FI/in/.
5.File mist.txt read from /data/sap/ARD/interface/FI/work/.
6.PD-DKLY-Y_SAP_FI_POST: This job was started periodically or directly from SM36/SM37 (Message Class: BD, Message Number : 076)
7.Job PD-DKLY-Y_SAP_FI_POST: Data does not match the job definition; job terminated (Message Class : BD, Message No. 078)
8.Job cancelled after system exception
ERROR_MESSAGE
Could you please analyse and come up about under what circumstance the above error is reported.
As well I heard that because of the customization issues in T.Code BMV0, the above error has raised.
Also please note that we can define as well schedule jobs from the above transaction and the corresponding data is stored in the table TBICU
My Trials
1. Tested uplaoding an empty file
2. Tested uploading with wrong data
3. Tested uploading with improper data that has false file structue
But failed to simulate the above scenario.
Clarification Required
Assume that I have defined a job using BMV0. Is that mandatory to use the same job in SM37/SM36 for scheduling?
Is the above question valid?

F110 APP run - Payment run has been scheduled, but job was not released

Dear Friends,
We have made payment parameters, payment proposal, edit payment proposal and it was working fine upto that stage.
Parameters have been entered
Payment proposal has been created
Payment proposal has been edited
But when we selected payment run, immediately it showed the below status:
Payment run has been scheduled 17.01.08 12:59:55
Job was not released
Also I'm not able to delete the Payment run made, fields are in disabled mode.
Please guide me how to resolve this issue.

Vendor not released warning as an error message in shopping cart

Hi,
When we are creating a Purchase order in SRM R/3 system, If we select a vendor which is not released then we get the Error message saying Vendor is not released and processing stops there.
Similarly while creating a Shopping cart with the same vendor it just gives a warning message instead of error. Is there any way of converting the warning message in case of Shopping Cart to an error message ? Is there any BADI available ?

Yes when we are creating any shopping cart or any PO , for validations we are using one check badi.
Try this Badi :
BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI.

Operation pull material not issued to wip job

Hi,
Issue is happening intermittently and not sure of root cause.
Operation pull components are not issued to wip job when move transactions are performed.
supply subinventory and locator as in wip job are having sufficient onhand available.
Can some one please let me know probable causes / setups which I need to verify if some one has faced this kind of issue already.

Vasudha.For intermittent issues..i suggest you to log a oracle SR...so that they will enable debug and frd logs..as they are really hard to track and replicate

Error message " [RunQueryToServer] Job Not Found " while editing Schedules

We are on BPC 7.5 NW. While trying to Edit Schedules in Datamanager , an error message is received " [RunQueryToServer] Job Not Found ". Could anyone suggest what could be the reason for the issue, is it admin rights of the user involved ?

Message starting with Z is home made message. That means the message is designed by your organization only. You should consult with your ABAP team to check the root causes of the error message. If you know the debug process , then you can check it also by debugging. To get the details of the error message, go to SE91 and the enter class ZM and message no 303, then use the option 'where used list' to check the details used of the message.
