Bought 5s this morning. sales person could not get touch id to work and said I could do it later. Fingerprints is grayed out in settings. Help!

You have to have a passcode enabled first. I was having trouble with this as well but I figured it out. I think it's because you will need the passcode to modify the fingerprint settings. Y'know, for security.

When I completed my last software update directly on my phone I didn't realise I would then be prompted to do and I-tunes update that would wipe my phone. wow, this is taking forever to communicate with anyone, I just want my $4.99 back from the movie rental I paid for. I paid for a rental, we were watching it, had to pause it, accidentally hit 'menu' on the apple remote, tried to get back into the movie, wouldn't let us, apple said ' go to settings, click downloads, select the rented movie from there',( not really a quote, but, close enough). So, we went to 'Settings' on main menu, but, there is no 'downloads' icon....I guess it is true: Do Not Rent from Apple TV'.

You are looking at outdated instructions, you can find the "check the downloads" option under settings > iTunes Store. You may also wish to look on the movies > rentals. -

Could not get metamodel for project
Hallo
Something strange happened...
I developed ein Composited Application under SAP Netweaver 7.1 SP 3.
Today I changed some code and run build.. And I get the error could not get metamodel for project.
And furthmore illegal reference to a non-used resource found.
Any Hints to resolve this problem?

The stacktrace I dont' have. Because I had the problem before the build. Thus I cannot have any trace on the server... I don't know where I can find the trace in Devstudio.
I closed all the project and Reopened again. Now I only have the problem as followed: (in the problem tab)

Hello I want to say that apple iphone 5 even has problems with battery consumption. Charge my phone in the morning and sometimes I do not get to the full day. If they could fix this problem I would appreciate. I hope answers

I recently just downloaded the 'Waze' app as a backup for my Garmin. I've read a few reviews that seem to rant and rave about how good the GPS app is. It is community driven and maps are constantly being updated by users. Plus it has a few other fun stuff in it (something similar to Gasbuddy where you can owe prices on the map). But like the person above me said, there is lots of useful free GPS apps in the App Store.
Oh and I may be wrong but I remember reading an article about Google being slower about updating its maps system--ie no turn by turn voice, which many people have had complaints about.

After connecting my Apple TV this morning, I have no sound. It is hooked up to play through my television speakers. Any ideas on how to get sound? Also, I tried hooking it up through my surround receiver, but could not get it to come up on my ty screen, what can I do to correct this problem?
Have you tried adjusting the "Audio Out" and the "Dolby Digital" settings in settings > audio and video? It may be worth trying several combinations of these settings, although typically it is the "Dolby Digital" setting that causes most problems for users.
Also make sure that you have correctly mapped the input port on your sound system to the output, if you are unsure about how to do this, refer to the manual that came with your sound system.
Have you tried playing various content sources (i.e. podcasts, music, iTunes Store video, other video etc), do you have the same problem with all types of content? If you use optical you might also check that you can see a red light at the end of your optical audio cable. Is your optical audio cable plugged straight into your sound system, or does it go through a switch or other device? -
I am using Windows Vista with Outlook 2007 and iCloud. Everything has been great until this morning. I'm suddenly getting the message "Set of folders cannot be opened. The information store could not be opened. I tried running the repair utlity to repair the iCloud however I am still getting this error message.
I tried rebooting. It didn't change anything.

They will help you just make sure that you make a appointment before you go into the store. Also if the iPhone needs to be replaced and you are not within your year of hardware coverage, that is when they will ask you to pay a fee.

Hi, i have a macbookpro 13, late 2012. I bought it last year october and its an year old and now out of warranty. This morning the computer did not boot, so i went down to apple store and they looked at it and said its a logic board failure and needs replacement worth £350. The tech at apple store gave no explanation, why suddenly, my computer decided not to start at all and said to me it was a logic board failure for no apparent reason and requires replacement. I have maintained the laptop in a pristine condition. Now I feel I have been cheated. This clearly means the product is substandard as a £1100 laptop is not expected to fail in just over a year. My last laptop PC which was worth £450 served me for 4 years before it crashed and lived for another 2 years until I decided to get a mac. This is ridiculous. I don't have apple care at the moment which translates as pay to get it fixed. Anybody in my situation ? I want to sue apple for selling me a substandard good . Any thoughts? Should I go for another pc for £500 because there is no guarantee even after the laptop were fixed by apple for £350 it would last for another year. I need a reliable machine.
This morning my MBP just woke up from sleep and is working without any glitches. I don't know what to say about this.

have Mozilla Firefox as my browser vs Internet explorer. This morning when I tried to open Mozilla after several attempts it said it had crashed with a window that I could check the box to send the report to Mozilla but it wont even let me send the report I can get on the internet with explorer but dont want to go back to that so would I just delete mozzila and start all over or will that not clear up the problem? Im lost help

All of a sudden this morning my iphone will not send imessages from my phone....

Hmm, that is strange that your phone number is greyed out. There are a few things that we can try. First would be to turn iMessages off, then back on. See if you are able to select your phone number. Then if that doesn't work, turn iMessages back off, then reset the network settings....settings>general>reset>reset network settings, this will reboot the phone. Don't worry, it won't delete anything from the phone, it simulates a battery pull. Once the device comes back on, then turn iMessages back on. Keep us posted if that works!
