BPM Error w/o Error Message

Hello all,
I have the following Scenario:
System A ---> BPM (file,async) |
 Mapping |
> System B (SOAP,sync)
<-----
 Mapping
 |-----> System C(SOAP,async)
The line in the middle should be my BP.
I see the following: Async msg via file arrives and is transformd into SOAP reuqest. I see both request and response as seperate messages in sxmb_moni
But system C is never called.
The first message file->BPM is transmitted but has an outbound status red. If I click on "PE" to see my process instance I see that there was an error. But there is no container, no error message. In the graphical log he does not even draw a green line to the sync. message send to system B. He only drwas till the mapping. But I see the messages being sent....
Does anyone has a clou what is going wrong here or how I can see an error message? I already tried putting everything into blocks and catch exceptions - did not work.....

Hi,
very simple cause: It was not the mapping but the message on the file system. It did not contain the namespace...
However, the important thing is that I was not able to see the error. what I finally did is that I marked every step of the process as to be executed in separate transactions. This finally allowed me to see the error of the mapping.
Is that new? I had in my mind that you usually see the errors right away....

Hi,
In SXMB_ADM you can set the time out higher for the sync processing.
Go to Integration Processing in SXMB_ADM and add parameter SA_COMM CHECK_FOR_ASYNC_RESPONSE_TIMEOUT to 120 (seconds). You can also increase the number of parallel processes if you have more waiting now. SA_COMM CHECK_FOR_MAX_SYNC_CALLS from 20 to XX. All depends on your hardware but this helped me from the standard 60 seconds to go to may be 70 in some cases.
Make sure that your calling system does not have a timeout below that you set in XI otherwise yours will go on and finish and your partner may end up sending it twice
when you go for BPM the whole workflow
has to come into action so for example
when your mapping last < 1 sec without bpm
if you do it in a BPM the transformation step
can last 2 seconds + one second mapping...
(that's just an example)
so the workflow gives you many design possibilities
(brigde, error handling) but it can
slow down the process and if you have
thousands of messages the preformance
can be much worse than having the same without BPM

BPM Error during delivery of message

Hi All,
I am working on BPM Scenario, to collect the files based on Correlation Id.
Its working file in PROD, Last 2 days back we processed 20 message, 4 was not processed. Data looks good, and i am trying to process those 4 records.
I am getting the below error in SMQ2.
SysFAIL - >Permanent error in BPE inbound processing -> Display Trace: 193 385 20091008225338.6300000 DATA SWF_INB EXCEPTIONS WF-BATCH X Error during delivery of message BDAAD94EA8454FA005F1A2C9416843DC to receive processes WS90100038 XBQO$PE_WS90100038 BDAAD94EA8454FA005F1A2C9416843DC
I cleared the SMQ2 and SWWL, and reprocessed the file, still i am getting same error...
SXMB_MONI_BPE - > Continoue Process flow after error nothing is displayed...
Any cause, i am getting the error???

Hi Siva,
Normally this error occurs when your data not sufficient,check your data its correct or not,i think its not satisying your condition / corealtion what you defined in BPM.

Error when Splitting the Message in Synchronous Sender -BPM

I has the following Integration Process:

Sender(async)
When iam trying to Split the Message in Synchronous Sender
where the receiver for Synchronous send message is a HTTP adapter iam getting the following Error in SXMB_MONI
"Messages in multi message format can be sent to one adapter engine only ".
Is there any solution for this?Its urgent
Is there any solution that can split and send the messages individually to the HTTP so that i can Split the message inside a BPM and use the BPM to send each individual message seperately.

Use a transformation step to split the message then use a Block with par for each option and have the sync send in side it. Then send this asynchronously to the system you want to send it to.

BPM fails due to error "Permanenter Fehler in der BPE Eingangsverarbeitung"

hi all,
i searched the forum and haven't got a proper solution for this.
My scenario is that i am getting a message via a file adapter and sending it to BPM. In my BPM i am receiving this message via a asyc receive step and then
calling a SAP RFC via a synchronous send step. But when i see the result in transaction SXMB_MONI i see that my BPM could not be processed due to an error message in the queue "Permanenter Fehler in der BPE Eingangsverarbeitung".
Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

Not sure if this would help you ...but try this..
Did you check the return code of the Integration Process in Cache. Is it 0.
Secondly try to run a simple file2file scenario with using BPM and check if the scenario works.
My guess is that you are getting the error because some configuration has not been done. Check if the BPE is not stopped.Use t-code SWF_XI_ADM_BPE

BPM dont return (catch) error occured in Adapter

I created my scenario with BPM.
Details:
Design:
MI_TESTE_SEND_outb - Outbound, Sync
MI_TESTE_outb - Abstract, Sync
MI_TESTE_ABS - Abstract, Async
MI_TESTE_inb - Inbound, Async
BPM
Send1 - Open Bridge,
mesage - MI_TESTE_ABS
sync message - MI_TESTE_outb
Receive1 - Async
message - MI_TESTE_ABS, create new transaction
Receive2 - Close Bridge of Receive1
message - MI_TESTE_ABS
Configuration:
No errors in configurations, i create SOAP Adapter Receiver for use in Receive1 from BPM
The send is a RFC Sender.
When i launch the process, in SOAP Adapter occurs errors (url invalid), but in SXI_MONITOR dont show errors, otherwise, my process is completed and ok.
That occurs because the error found in Adapter and my BPM dont catch the error.
Can anybody tell me, how can i catch the error from Adapter in my BPM? How can i return from RFC the that error?

No need to restart the server. In PI there is a parameter 'java Heap' indicating the size of data processed adapters. Check if it is necessary to increase the size of this parameter.

while I am Extrating Data From Flat File I encountered this Error.
I am working on ECC 6.0 , BI 7.0.
I am trying this one in IDES, it is newly installed server.
For Flat File Extraction I follwed the Steps
1) I created Data source -
let us assume I have created a Flat File with 3 fields
SNO SNAME MARKS
File is located in workstation
Data source created successfull , I have checked in preview.
2) I have created 2 key Figures, 1 characteristic
3) I have created Infocube
here I have some doubt
while I am creating Infocube, the look and Feel is very different to 3.XX
when i try to create in 3.XX , we can see the Tabs for Kef figs,chars,Time chars and we assign chars to Dimenstions.
when i am creating Infocube in BI 7.0 , I don't Find such a Tabs and how I am assign the chars to Dimension

the Info cube window displayed on the Right side

Let we try this way. I'm sure you might have some existing mapping objects in IR.
Try to change that object(Description give some name) and activate again the object.
Reply your results whether you are getting the same error.
One sec before changing the object just test the mapping and change the object.

i am currently having problems signing on to our DEV server. i get this error message:

I am using project server 2007 and WSS 3.0.
I have been facing a strange issue for couple of days. I am unable to open PWA in browser and MS Project Pro on application server.
Everything is correct whether it is URL or MS Project profile account on MSP. This is strange because i can open same PWA/MSP from other computers (Database server / Client PCs) but not locally on server.

Install 7-Zip (free), or a free trial of WinRAR, and use one of them to extract the contents of the iTunesSetup.exe or iTunesSetup64.exe installer file, then try installing AppleApplicationSupport.msi as a standalone component. Even if it won't install you may get a more useful error message as to why not.
