Bpm xsd/ReviewObject.xsd not found in composite while deploying

Hi,
I am a newbie to BPM.
Installed 11.1.1.5.0 soa/bpm suite.
Tried http://st-curriculum.oracle.com/obe/fmw/obpm/11g/r1/firstProcess/firstprocess_obpm11g.htm
Getting error while deployment of the above saying
The XML-Schema file for the fact com.oracle.xmlns.bpm.bpmobject.hellomodule.reviewobject.ObjectFactory could not be found in the composite.
The XML-Schema file xsd/ReviewObject.xsd could not be found in the composite. The XML fact com.oracle.xmlns.bpm.bpmobject.hellomodule.reviewobject.ObjectFactory of target namespace assumes the existence of the schema file in the composite.
Check the composite for the schema xsd/ReviewObject.xsd and make sure it has target namespace. The schema is expected in the project xsd or businesscatalog folder. If the error persists, contact Oracle Support Services.
Exception:
at oracle.bpel.services.rules.fabric.xml.RuleDictionarySchemaUsage.addToResultSet(RuleDictionarySchemaUsage.java:222
at oracle.bpel.services.rules.fabric.xml.RuleDictionarySchemaUsage.addToResultSet(RuleDictionarySchemaUsage.java:167
at oracle.bpel.services.rules.fabric.xml.RuleDictionarySchemaUsage.getComponentSchemaQNames(RuleDictionarySchemaUsage.java:126
Installed as per the quick start guide mentioned in the documentaion page, ie. with oracle-xe, wls 10.3.5, rcu 11.1.1.5.0, soa 11.1.1.5.0
configured the domain for bpm suite for developers, soa suite for developers
Developed and deployed from jdeveloper as per the above bpm example link.
If tried without the business rule component, there are no errors, works fine and able to check from /bpm/workspace properly.
Please let me know what needs to be done to correct the above error.
Thx

Hi,
i believe that is a bug in the composite editor. You MUST NOT copy ReviewObject.xsd from the businessCatalog folder to the xsd folder.
Instead, try creating the Business Rule from the BPMN process. This can be done from the "Implementation" dialog of the Business Rule activity.
In that dialog, you can specify the input and output of the Business Rule by dragging&dropping from the Process Data Objects into that dialog.
There is no need to even look at the XSD, it is all hidden under the covers.
Not sure why the tutorial wants you to create the rules component from the composite editor, i will check and get that fixed.
Let me know if that works for you.

Ralf

  • Page not found error getting while access endeca application

    Hi All,
I am trying to create an application in endeca. Created application , ran neccessary scripts and created pages in experience manager.

which works fine. Please help me how can i resolve this issue. I am using endeca 3.1.0.
    Thanks
    Mark

There's not much to go on here, but it sounds like you're trying to view changes in a "live" application. To confirm this, you should execute the configuration promotion script and then check the same application URL. You can run the promote script from inside workbench. Log in as admin, then look under "Workbench Home > Administration > Admin Console > Scripts." You should execute the "PromoteAuthoringToLive" script. Once this script is complete, then test your page again.
If this works, then it means that your application is configured such that it doesn't get immediately notified of new configuration changes, i.e. it's configured in "live" mode.

  • Error 404 not found for PAPIWS Console deployed in WLS

    Hi, All,
I created 07-papiws-wls103-XAFDIDS.ear in OBPM 10.3.1 Admin Center, and deploy it to WLS 10.3 successfully.
The problem is when I try to access PAPIWS console by http://192.168.48.1:8901/papiws/PapiWebService, Error 404 not found reported.
    Any ideas? Thanks in advanced.
    Best Regards,
    Bill

Let's start by clearing up some confusion.
    PORTS
In version 11.1.1.x here are how the common ports are defined by default:
    1. HTTP Server - 8888
    2. WLS_FORMS - 9001
    3. WLS_REPORTS - 9002
    4. WLS Admin Server - 7001
So, if you understand how ports work in general, you should see that there are two ways to run a form. You can either go through HTTP Server or call WLS_FORMS directly. This means that both of the following would work, although one would be a direct path and the other would route the request through the HTTP Server:
    <li>http://ie1fdtfc5zl1s:9001/forms/frmservlet?config=frmdemo
    <li>http://ie1fdtfc5zl1s:8888/forms/frmservlet?config=frmdemo
Port 7001, will always be the Admin Server port by default for the Classic domain. By default, the only thing you can do from here is access EM or WLS Console.
As for the tns issue, by default, both the Builder and runtime will expect to find tnsnames.ora in the Instance Home \config so be sure you are adding the correct entries to the correct file.
You can hard code a path to the file which you prefer be used by setting TNS_ADMIN in default.env (e.g. TNS_ADMIN=C:\Oracle\mytnsdirectory). This will apply only to running forms and not the Builder.
Also, here is something which often is confusing to many people.... just because you launched your form from the Builder does not mean that the running form has anything to do with the Builder at that point. In other words, when you click on the RunForm button in the builder all you are doing is passing a url to a browser. The browser and the form are not using any of the Builder's settings except those which may have been passed in the URL (e.g. username/password). ALL running forms are considered "runtime". This means all of the environment configuration information for a running form will need to be set in default.env. The Builder, on the other hand will rely on the System variable, Windows Registry (or shell if on Unix).

  • File Not Found Error: new WAR deployment

I'm trying to find the path to my new WAR deployed JSP files. The following error occurs:
    Exception:
    java.io.FileNotFoundException: d:\oracle\ora9ias_test\apache\apache\htdocs\RAP_Editor_viaWAR\RapView1_Browse.jsp
In my address bar I type: http://(oracle_home):7778/RAP_Editor_viaWAR/RapView1_Browse.jsp
I don't know why it is looking under the \apache\apache\htdocs directory. What configuration step have I missed? I'm having a similar problem finding the demo apps as well.
    Thanks!
    -Tony.

Well, I've found out that my HTTP path issues we're related to the Portal SDK install. The OC4J instance "JDev" seems to mess up JSPs and results in a FileNotFound exception. Its looking for JSPs in the wrong place - http://<oracle-home>/apache/apache/htdocs/j2ee/...
The fix: comment out the include directive in httpd.conf that references JDev.
Another BC4J JSP issue: Be sure your datatags.jar file is current or else you'll get an HTTP 500 error due to an unsupported attribute. The application.log file will show "Error: itermode is not a property of oracle.jbo.html.jsp.datatags.DataSourceTag".

  • Approver Not Found IN CUP While Executing a Request.

    Hi Experts,
I have created a new request type for new role creation in CUP(AC 5.3 SP7),created a initiator for that and included the new request type in that.I have also created a new stage and selected a custom approver determinator with attribute type business process(approvers set).
Finally, i have created a path with two stages,first-manager and second of process owner.I can see clealry the approver determinator are selected in both the stages of path.
After performing the above configuration in workflow,i am creating a request for the same and getting the error that no approver found at process owner stage.
Please provide me any tip to resolve the issue.
    Regards,
    Mukesh

    Alpesh,
You are absolutely right, when i changed approvers on the base of request type in CAD,it went right to the next stage. But, when i am trying to set approvers on the base of business process i am not reaching into next stage, reason is while creating request I am not choosing the business type.
Now, i am not geting any business process in the drop down list(while creating request initially),also, i am not able find any option in CUP from where i can specify the business process.
    Please guide me.
    Thanks understanding the issue.

  • Directory not found error occurs while hosting WCF Service in SharePoint 2010

    Hi,
I have created a sample in share point 2010 along with WCF and while hosting am getting "name of the directory is missing", please find the created sample and error details in below link. could you help me ?
    https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=FE78C65B6E3DB51C%212485
    Thanks,
    Felix M

    Hi Ajay,
for custom WCF, actually its part of .net and will be deployed to sharepoint.
when you deployed, it should change the web.config, and add your endpoint.
to try perhaps you can open your endpoint from the web front end server.
i see from the link that you add, the article already add the example to check this:
    http://ranaictiu-technicalblog.blogspot.in/2011/03/sharepoint-2010-create-custom-wcf.html
if should from the web front end is not available, then you need to change the web.config manually and add your endpoint.

  • The Network Adaptor could not establish the connection while deploying

    Hi All,
I am using oracle db 9.2.0.7 and OWB 9.2.0.4. When I am trying to deploy the object on remote database using owb deployment manager, it is failing to deploy object and giving an error "The Network Adaptor Could Not establish connection."
When I am trying to connect using SQL+, it is connecting as well as I can create the objects and all but the same thing I am trying to do using OWB, it is giving me an error.
What I understand is if there is something wrong with the tnsnames or listner, then it should give an error with sql+ as well. I have also check the c:\windows\system32\driver\etc\hosts which includes the ipaddress and host name.
    Please help.
    Thanks
    -Mehul

    Hi,
are You using 2 different Oracle Homes (one for OWB and one with main Oracle software)
If so, may be that the TNSNAMES.ORA in the OWB Oracle Home is not correctly configured.
    Please check or clarify that
    Hope this helps

No, actually is a first transport that we tried to do, is a new installation.   The basis team create a track like follow:
DEV - CONS - TEST - PRD, where CONS and TEST are the same server with the same parameters.   I dont know if this is a mistake.

  • Error code: 0x80070035 The network path was not found

"Error code: 0x80070035 The network path was not found" while trying to access another PC running Windows 7 Ultimate I searched and read dozens of similiar posts to try to resolve this issue with no success.
The situation is, I have a router in home with 4 PC's connected. My central PC is running Windows 7 Ultimate. The others are Windows 7 Ultimate again, and 2 running XP Pro. No special Firewalls, just have Windows Firewall enabled on all PC's, and am running KasperskyInternetSecurity2010 on all. (Have disabled these on all PC's and tried to view/connect and it didnt make a difference, same error)
Fact one: not attempting a Homegroup connection at all, just simply wishing to connect in a basic network environment where I can drag and drop files between all PC's in my Home Network or in my house , however its considered. But on the Windows 7 I am unable to view either of the XP's only the other Win7, and when I try to access that one is when I get the "Error code: 0x80070035 The network path was not found".
Furthermore, while troubleshooting the problem I opened a Command Prompt in all computers, then an "ipconfig" to view each ip address. Then began to ping each machine to determin connectivity. Which resulted in partial success. My main Win7 machine (which i am on now) was able to ping successfully to all machines. But all other machines were unable to ping to me (main Win7). with a 100% loss.
So at least I determined this is most likely a helpful fact in resolving this. Going into "services.msc" I made sure that all the obvious services are started and running:
DCHP Client, Homegroup Listener, Homegroup Provider, Link-Layer Topology Discovery Mapper, NetTcp Port SHaring Service, Network Connections, Network List Service, Network Location Awareness, TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper
All strarted and running in Automactic mode.
Not sure what other information I can give at this point, to help assist in fixing this problem. Please dont hesitate to ask for me for more info if needed. Ready and willing to try anything to get this working, except for reinstalling the OS. All my programs work great and do not wish to go through the drama ao reinstalling all my programs and activating them and redoing all my Adobe settings and CAD settings.
    Someone please help !

    Hi,
In addition, I would like to suggest the following:
    Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP:
    1.    Go to “Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections”.
    2.    Right-Click on the connection and choose Properties.
    3.    Click “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Version 4” in the list.
    4.    Click Properties, and then click Advanced.
    5.    On the Advanced TCP/IP settings windows, go to “WINS” tab.
    6.    Under NetBIOS setting, click “Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP”, and then click OK.
    Thanks.

It's followed by a list of dozens of files.  However, I verified that all files are included in the search directories.
I installed the deployment as-is and it seems to run ok; it finds the files it's supposed to.  However, I'm going to have a hard time selling this procedure off to QA if the deployment shows a 'file not found' message.
My question is: why do I get the 'file not found' warning during the deployment build process, yet the 'analyze source file' step finishes ok and the deployed files work ok?

These files are all relative and are part of the workspace.  I did find a
    workaround to the problem.
In the search directories selection box, the top-level entry is "Current
sequence file" with subdir search enabled.  The next entry is the workspace
directory with subdir search enabled; all files are in subdirs of the
workspace directory.  The remaining entries are unchecked or not
user-defined (ie.: other NI directories on my computer).  In order for the
deployment to work, I had to enable the third entry on the list: "Initial
directory" along with subdir enabled.  However, the initial directory is
the same as the workspace directory (since I opened teststand by
double-clicking on my .tsw file).  What I don't understand is why should it
matter that I have initial directory on the path if it's the same as the
    entry before it?
