Bridge cs5 photo gallery - journal + Slideshow problems

When i'm trying to make a journal+slideshow photo gallery, i get all this unnecesary information from my metadata. ( Date last modified : ...., software: ....., X resolution, Y Resolution, image size, resolution unit..) Is there a way to make that go away so i can see just my description and author, what i want to see?
And can i incorporate a gallery made with bridge into an already existing HTML page, so that you have my template's design with that in the middle(the contents/editable part for me)? Or does it need to be a whole new html page, i'm using dreamweaver.
Picture of uneccesary info, can it go away?

I found out putting it in dreamweaver is pretty easy, just use iframe and make the width/height however you want it and it works fine for me. ( From the adobe web gallery in bridge>use the whole folder's index.html(can change name) as source for iframe, and you have the gallery, you need to move the whole folder to the site root though if you want it there, not just the .html )

Problem loading images in adobe bridge html photo gallery

Can someone please, please help me!? I can not figure out why the images will not load in my adobe bridge html photo gallery cs5. I am not getting any error messages in Firefox and just the x in internet explorer.

I created the gallery as a html file for compatibality reasons due to accesbility issues with flash, and followed the general insturctions. The gallery folder is called wetlandsgallery and it is loading everything style-wise except the images themselves.
I then made the gallery within an iframe so it would be more similar to the other pages on the site and contain the menu bar - but no change on the lack of images!
Having looked around online I think it might be something to do with the bin folder?? Does this have some secutity somewhere thats protecting the images? I am also unsure if I filled in the FTP info correctly when creating the site as I was getting the message "could not connect to FTP server" so I had to copy over the file from my hard drive to the server provider files. All the tutortials say to load your gallery and no mention of what to do when it won't connect to FTP server.
If you could also tell me how to edit the image sizes that would be a great help too, as any size changes I make to either the bin/large or bin/thumnail images makes no difference in what appears in the preview?
Help would be very greatfully appreciated as I am pulling my hair out trying to figure it out with no sucess and a possible bald patch!

Using your source code without these things I could see some of your images.
2. Looking to your website with my IE8 into image 7 (e.g.) I saw this:
what means there is a reference to a html file, not to an image. ???
3. Here it becomes interesting (completely contrary to my point 2.), looking for your path:

I can see this image in my IE8 (some people in front of a "wetland". But still I've to assume (as Murray already did too), that there is something wrong with your upload and the pathes.
4. Allow me to make one brief point, we talked about here on several occasions: please don't use spaces in image, folders or filenames. I'll quote Murray: In general, URL encoding spaces does not lead to problems. ... Whatever the details are, though, using spaces in filenames or paths is a bad practice which WILL lead to problems.
5. What concerns the image sizes, maybe later (I didn't understand your question correctly I fear). There is still my language barrier, I'm sorry.

How to have more than one Bridge Web Photo Gallery in a site

I'm having a problem inserting more than one bridge web photo gallery in my site. I have thumbnails of different jobs and when clicked I want a new page to load with all the images of that job. I have one thumbnail linked to one of the galleries and I made another gallery and can't find the code to change to link it to the new html gallery. When the page loads it shows the first gallery I made instead of the new gallery.
Example:
I made a gallery of a deck job and on my photo page there is a thumbnail. When clicked it brings up the deck.html photo gallery made in bridge cs4. Good!
Now, I made a gallery of an outdoor fireplace and on my photo page there is a thumbnail. When clicked it should load the photo gallery of the outdoor fireplace. It loads the gallery of the deck instead.
I understand that the code needs to be changed to link to the new files. I changed the "resource" folder for the outdoor fireplace to "resource2" and changed the code script src="resources" to script src="resources2" and it did not work
I suspect that I need to change the code that points to group.xml and rename the new photo gallery group.xml to group2.xml so it will find the one in my resources2 folder, but I can't find the code anywhere.
Any help would be great. Also, if there is a better way of doing this let me know?

Maybe I can explain this better....
the group.xml file has the information for what images to load. When previewing the outdoor fireplace web gallery "of.html" it loads the "deck.html" web gallery. I believe this is because in one of the files it is requesting the info from the group.xml file from the resourses folder. I need to find where the code is that directs it to the group.xml and change it to group2.xml and rename that group.xml file for "of.html" to group2.xml in the resourses2 folder.

Photo Gallery start up problem

I have a glitch and it's probably me … but here's what
I know.
About Don Booth's Photo Gallery:
It's great. Everything is good - integrated with my CSS -
looks nice.
When the page loads all is well except the first image in the
Gallery does not display in <div id="mainImageOutline"... (and
the first thumbnail is not highlighted). While I'm building and
testing this is OK. Just click a thumbnail and everything works
well.
In the demo, the Gallery is operational by default and starts
up with the first thumbnail and Spry:detail produces the
corresponding image (automatically). That's what I want.
About my code:
Except for a couple of "page layout" divs that I have,
consistent with my own site-wide style sheet conventions, such as
<div id="wrapper"> and <div id="maincontent"> I have:
1. Copied Don Booth's xhtml code directly from the
Spry_1_1_022408 download sample.
2. Copied Don Booth's css code directly from the same
download sample.
3. Copied Don Booth's gallery.js directly (without change as
far as I know).
The only significant change (apart from CSS and xhtml
structure) in my work is - I added an additional Spry:detail div to
present additional datapoints from xml. This is not relevant to my
question because the issue that concerns me is consistent if I
remove this second detail div. The start-up problem remains.

Sounds like you need to turn your Slideshow into a Track, and then set the Track to display as 16:9 Letterbox; but first, you'll also need to encode your slides as wide Mpeg 2 clips (encode set to 16:9), too; to whatever duration you have them set in the Slideshow, currently (if they're not already wide encoded clips).
It would be good to stick some same duration audible or silent same format and bit rate audio underneath each of the new movie slides, to present players a nicely packed VOB.

How to import Bridge CS4 photo gallery into Dreamweaver CS4?

I'm a novice when it comes to web design, but am starting to master DW CS4. While searching for a way to create good looking photo galleries I found an online video explaining how to do it using Bridge. The process in Bridge was strainght forward and simple. However, I have not found how I can bring the photo gallery I created in Bridge into a page based on a template in Dreamweaver. Can it be done? How?
I designed a template for our website which I would like to use for any photo galleries in order to maintain the same "look and feel" and ease of navigating within our website (www.aquacomgroup.com).

Photo Gallery aspect ratio problem

Hi,
I've done a lot of searches on this forum, other forums, and the DVD Studio Pro help file, but I can't find anything that will help me (making me think this problem is unsolvable).
I'm burning a DVD that is all in 16:9. When I tested it on the TV, everything was fine except the photo gallery, which was in 4:3. I can't find any setting that can change it to 16:9, and I'm dreading that I'm going to have to resize every single photo.
Can anyone help me out?
I'm using DVD Studio Pro 3.0.2, by the way.

Photo Gallery: 2 positioning problems

hey, first i'd like to say, great photo gallery, it's exactly
what i needed for my site :)
now, as for the problems i'm having..
i need to place the gallery into part of a table, but i am
have 2 issues with this.
1. the main images resize the table automatically, depending
on the size of the image. however, it only changes the height of
the table. it does not alter the width of it.
--i do not want this to happen, i would like the table to
stay one fixed size.
2. the thumbnails, regardless of what position i move them
to, when moused over they move back to the original top left corner
position.
--again, i would like them to remain fixed at wherever i
place them at.
i've looked through the css code and am having a bit of
trouble trying to figure out just what to edit to make this doable.
though, i'm not even sure if it's something that's part of the css
code or if it's another part of the site that needs altered
instead.
any suggestions?

problem resolved.. was a rather easy fix.. not sure how i
screwed it up the first time though..but either way, it works
fine.

Bridge CS5 web gallery plays locally but won't launch online

After creating a slide show in Bridge CS5.1, the preview within Bridge and in my browsers work fine after turning off popup supression. I then upload to my site, and the only thing that displays is a blank page.

If I try to launch the swf file directly

I've tried with several of the default templates and the results are consistent.
Ultimately I want to customize the default index.html to a template page but first it has to run online.

nothing in bridge's preferences refer to the output controls. any help
appreciated.
In general you don't need to reinstall at first trouble. A restart holding
down option key and from the pop up menu resets all preferences to default
settings including the default workspaces.
But could you be a little more specific about your workflow, f.i. on what
output you are clicking for the module (the default workspace, the icon or
menu view-workspace-output) And does that window look as output containing
at least the content panel, preview panel and output panel with all its
settings (document-lay out-overlays-header etc).
Maybe you can provide a screenshot of what you are seeing when in output?

Bridge CS5 using CS4 files cache problem

If I use Bridge CS4 on a directory and subsequently open the same directory with Bridge CS5, Bridge insistes on rebuilding thumbnails and previews (as indicated on the bottom status line). If I subsequently reopen the directory in Bridge CS4, it again rebuilds thumbs and previews - however only thumbs seem to be rebuilt. The Preferences in both versions of Bridge are "identical". The bridge cache files are maintained in the image directories.
The cache construction seems to be quite fast (faster than anticipated) - I am not sure what, if anything, is being rebuilt.
Is this an expected operation?
This presents some difficulties in that I have 530,000 images (7 terabytes) on Bridge CS4 and the reconstruction of the files would literally take weeks to rebuild.

I have been onto adobe thru there support link regarding bridge issues and they
advise to uninstall bridge cs4 using there ceanscript.
well its a fiddly tool and no mention of just removing bridge cS4 it wants to remove cS4EXT too,
which i'm not readt to remove, plugins etc......
anyway, cant help, but there was a bridge CS5 patch released yesterday.
i have noticed that some of issues no longer seem to occur
so it may be wise to download it as it didnt auto download.
also i have seen the same issue you state so your not alone.
not sure whether the patch addresses the issue as ive only had it updated a few hours

Bridge CS5 web gallery custom ......

Hoping someone can help as I'm a newbie.
I've tried using Bridge to create a web gallery but it doesn't allow me to customise the size. It only accepts 675px x 450 px, is there a way that I'm able to customise the size to fit within a current template I've already made in dreamweaver?

Your best bet is to download the legacy plug in for creating web galleries. The problem with the new design is that your are basally locked into flash except for a single HTML selection that has very few adjustable parameters. The film strip option, which I favor, is limited to flash for example.
If you like flash this the default is the choice for you but if you want to make changes such as adding detailed captions editing HTML files is the way to go.

Bridge CS5 Photo Downloader will not rename files

I choose Custom Name + Shot Date but Photo Downloader ignores this
and transfers files as MG+4 numbers. I can't even get a sequencial number even though I choose one
Before in CS4 I used this option with success.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Are you using a card reader for file transfer?
If not buy one as it provides better transfer operation than from camera.

How to add Web Gallery in Bridge CS5

Hi there,
I am creating a photo album with web gallery in Bridge CS5. I find out that Is it possible to enable vertical scroll in to the portrait pictures? Usually portrait pictures are too small when they are diminish to the screen. Here is an example of an portrait with vertical scroll, and I think they work better that way. Or what do you think?
Is it possible to find third party template to Bridge CS5 web gallery software that has scrollable slide area? Or is it possible to make couple of modifications to the basic templates?

Problems with PSE 8 & Windows Live Photo Gallery

I recently had to purchase a new laptop and it came preloaded with Windows 7. I installed PSE8 and have had no problems with photos I scanned,etc. But Windows 7 defaults import photos from my camera to Windows Live Photo Gallery. My problem is now I can't get PSE8 to import from the clipboard. It is grayed out and I can't click it. How dop I get my photos into PSE8 and then get the two programs to play right together?

Open Organizer and click File à Get Photos & Videos à From Files & Folders
Navigate to the folder used by Windows and press Ctrl+A to select all and hit open or get media.

Bridge CS6 Photo downloader freezes on .mov files

Bridge CS 6 photo downloader freezes on .mov files from a T4i. To get the video files I've had to use Bridge CS5 photo downloader.
I have PS CS5, PrPro & AE CS6 if this makes a difference. Photos are no problem downloading.

I shoot both. I use Bridge & ACR CS6 to view and edit Raw files. CS5 doesn't recognise the Raw files (had to convert to dng before I got Bridge CS6). CS6 will download both Raw & Jpeg files. It hangs up on the .mov files.
I use a card reader on my Epson printer. I've cleared the cache in Bridge. How do I resfresh the prefs in Bridge?
My OS:
Intel i7 3770, Windows 7 Pro w/SP1, 64 bit, Intel 520 Series SSD, 32G RAM, 2 – 2T RAID, (1T external), GTX 550 Ti graphics
