Bringing in video

Hello all. I'm using CS6 (Mac) and I have video that i edited in Premiere Pro. The size is 1280X720 HD. But when I bring in that video into After Effects, the size is smaller than 1280X720. But my frame size in After Effect and Premiere are both 1280X720. How can I fix this?
Thanks
Ji

Thanks for the reply. I've shoot the video on an Canon HD. Shotting an intro for a youtube video. There was eight seperate
outtakes that I've done. I imported them into Premiere first so I could edit each frame. I like what I have and now I'm ready to send it over to After Effect. I know both in PP & AF or both set to 1280X720. In PP, I did (Mac) File then Adobe Dynamic Link, send to After Effect. It's all shot on a green screen, so this is the first frame before the model walks on. The gray is the actual background to replace the green screen.

Amazon Prime reply app does not allow video airplay - nor do several other content providers.
It must have something to do with digital rights/copyright.

  • Can't bring up videos tab on my 3rd gen iPod touch

As of late I haven't been able to bring up my videos using the button on the bottom of the touch screen. I can still watch music videos if use the search function or go through the music tab. When I press the video button the screen turns white for a few seconds as it tries to boot up then kicks me out to the main screen. I have the most up to date software for the iPod and iTunes, I've restarted and restored to factory settings with no luck. Any suggestions what I can do?

Two updates later and I'm still having the same problem. Anyone have any suggestions?

  • 2 ? Save edited video, and bringing mts video compress

    Greetings,
    I brought in 3 mts files and CS6 moved very slowly. Do I need to compress these files before I bring them in. I was able to export the rendered file, but how do I save the video file with the layers. Thank you for your help :}

Save the Project will save the "layers"
It is your computers capability that determines how well certain files will play.

  • Bringing YouTube videos to the front

I am trying to place two separate youtube links on the same page but when I open the website, only one of them is visible. I am aware that I need to bring the other one to the front, but when I do this, the first one (that was previously visible) becomes invisible but the original invisbile one becomes visible.

I often have that with pieces of paper.
When I stack them I cannot write on the ones that are beneath the one on top.
But when I place them next to each other I can.
Why not do the same with the videos?

  • How to bring a video layer in the front of the other?

I'm trying to find how to make a smaller video running in the front of the actual video (for example when gamers play their game and we can see them in the video in the top corner commentating), but i can't find a thing which brings to front one sequence or sends to back one, and my smaller video keeps staying in the back of all the layers. Please guide me, I'm sorry for asking such a basic question but I am searching for hours now.

    Hi Tuztanc,
Can you try putting it on a higher video track in the Timeline?
    Thanks,

  • How do I keep the quality when I bring a video into Dvd studio pro 3

just curious, the quality is really bad when I burn a dvd. the m2v movie that comes out is really bad, just curious if you would know how to fix this. It looks fine when I export it from fcp6 but when I bring it in to DSP3 it looks like something that's gone through the system of an old women.

    whatever that means.
why not detail your complete workflow along with bit rate settings, treatment of audio, original source codec, length of the video in total minutes.

  • Bringing random video clips from online into imovie...

I want to find old 1920's footage of trains and people on trains and put the clips together for a 3 minute music video to go with a song a friend and I wrote. Is it possible to find clips online and bring them into imovie in order to do this? I am very new to imovie so the more info I can get the better.
    Thanks in advance!

There is a site here. By sure to read the licensing and attribution requirements.
If you can get a quicktime file that meets your need, you can import into iMovie using the FILE/IMPORT.../MOVIES command.

  • Bringing FCP video captures into Motion

Im doing a project where I have captured video in FCP from a mini DV camcorder. I captured the video using the DV NTSC default setting.
These clips need to come into Motion in the highest quality possible.
What is the best protocol for bringing those clips into Motion?
Do I export the footage out of FCP first and then bring that file into Motion?
Do I drive to where the Capture Scratch is and import the clip from there?
Do I need to turn on HiQuality Video setting in Quicktime Pro on the clips Im bringing in before I use them in Motion?
    Thanks.

Take your elements (clips you want to use), stack them up in the video layers select them and ctrl-click on the stack and select Send to Motion project. Select the imbed Motion Content flag and the the Launch Motion flag. Don't worry about High Quality settings, don't worry about capture scratch - just let that be behind the scenes/under the hood stuff.

  • Why bring amateur video into a professional photo editor?

I am confused as to why Adobe would bring such a limited video editor to Photoshop CS6 when they already have a professional editing program...it seems that they are trying to bring the professional photo editor "Photoshop CS5" to more of an elements style for average consumers...I do not really feel that CS6 will be worth the cost we will be expected to pay for the upgrade. there are a few features that do appeal to me but the video does not appear to be all that amazing...at some point I hope to buy Premiere Pro and After Effects but doubt that Photoshop CS6's video editing capabilities are even close to what I will require. I feel saddened that the Adobe evangelists are promoting this feature so highly...seems like the evangelists...are they just being told to promote the new features...perhaps I am way off base and after a while I will see more into these features...I would like to say that when I did render my finished Video it locked up my computer and never finalized. I actually have a fast computer with the latest graphic capabilities...well BETA says it all. Well I will leave this question and hope to generate some positive discussion that Adobe will listen too...
    Thank you Rick H.

You make some fair points.  There have been times when I have had to use CS4 and felt frustrated at the lack of features I am so used to in CS5, but I doubt that would be the case with CS6.  I can't think of anything I could not manage without.   As things stand, I would not pay the full price for CS6, and will only pay for the upgrade to keep on the upgrade path, (because of the more draconian policy with upgrades).   Yes.  I really thought that Adobe were holding back on some major new features with the Sneak Peeks we've had so far, but that is apparently not the case.
I'll have a more thorough read through the installation notes to see what I am missing.

  • Keystroke to bring up 'Video' in Inspector window?

I can find the project info window keystroke, the color pane keystroke, the audio pane keystroke ...
But I can't find a keystroke to bring up the 'Video' pane in the Inspector.
    Besides the Command 4
I want to be able to jump from pane to pane and if I'm in the info pane and hit Command 4, the Inspector closes and I have to hit it again to bring it up, and it brings back the 'info' pane anyhow.
I've been through the manual and a keystroke list I've got.  No luck.
    All ears,
    Ben

    Thank you guys,
There are some odd 'holes' in FCPX ... functions one would have thought obvious, not there.  And yet the whole is quite brilliant.  I'll at least have the Ctrl-tab, thank you for that Luis.
Very much appreciated, I can stop looking for the thing now...
And I'll send a note to FCPX.
    All the best,
    Ben

  • Bringing in paused video

Is there a way to introduce a video clip, such that it animates in paused on the first frame, and waits for a click to start playing?
I've been doing this with a workaround involving a captured still-frame, but hopefully there's an easier method.
    Thanks!

"Otherwise please explain what action is meant by "it animates in paused on the first frame".
    ok -
My first click brings the video onto the slide with a "flip" animation. However, instead of the video playing right away, I just want it to be paused on the first frame, waiting for the next click which will start the video.
    does that make sense?

  • Bad audio connection on P-35 Platinum moBo, while capturing analog video?

Before I give up, I'm reaching out to MSI and any persons suffering from out-of-sync audio and video capture issues while using Pinnacle Studio Video editing software. Studio Ultimate HD v.14.
I've posted numerous inquiries to the Pinnacle Support team, the Pinnacle Forum site, as well as the GrassValley (Canopus 110 or 300, I was thinking about trying that) and really never got anywhere.
A few people had mentioned maybe the sync issue could be caused by a bad analog signal and it will drop video or audio frames hence the sync problem. Bringing the video into the capture mode in Studio is fine, but the audio has about a 6 second latency delay, which never recovers.
Could it be the REALTEK HD Sound Audio on my P-35 MoBo, maybe bad? I play music, and everything else coming out of my speakers sound fine, it's just the syncing issues with a PCI device that never locks in both the Video with the audio, because there are two different incoming devices.  Analog camera video-out to PCI Video-IN, and audio out from analog camera to onboard, MoBo Realtek audio input.
The PCI-500 capture that originally came with my first Studio product (Studio movieboard 12.1) has NO Audio RCA input, only FireWire, S-video, and Video IN and OUT)

I use the MSI Live Update 4 to update drivers, BIOS, VGA,and Utilities. This system is about four years old.  I'm just afraid to flash or update BIOS, thinking I could screw things up.
So I guess  my question here is to ask, if maybe the audio input jack on my P-35 Mobo could be defective?  Thank you!

Have you try out with a standalone add on sound card? Sometimes, sync problem can be due to processing power or RAM space needed for rendering and merging.

  • After effects does not import video when I direct link from premiere pro.  Why not? how do i fix this?

I wanted to add some motion tracked text elements into a clip of a interview in my premiere pro cc timeline. I left clicked on the clips that i wanted to "replace with after effects composition".. so i clicked it to and it opens a new comp in after effects.. Only there is no video opened in the comp.. Theres nothing there. I cant figure out why it doesnt bring the video in? Its not in my project panel in ae.. and ive tried direct link by left clicking the clip and going through the menu.. Tried closing AE and then doing direct link. Tried opening AE first and then doing it.. Not working no matter how i try it.  Whats the fix?
Im using all CC products. Premiere is up to date, after effects is not. I will be updating it to see if that fixes the problem. As soon as I do. I will post a comment as to whether it fixed it or not. In the meantime i could use some help!
