Browser() bug?

Is this a bug or am i doing something wrong?
i have a script where i call a browser() method and it all
goes well in debug mode, but when i compile normally it doesn't
work!
var imageTypes:FileFilter = new FileFilter("Images (*.jpg,
*.jpeg, *.gif)", "*.jpg; *.jpeg; *.gif");
var fileTypes:Array = new Array(imageTypes);
SMCDadosFile.browse(fileTypes);

Yes it does seem to be some kind of limit. I've found the only way to view all the clips is to open the bin containing them in it's own window. Very annoying. Have only noticed this problem recently. So hopefully it can be "tuned" out in the next update.

    var effect = new Spry.Effect.Fade('description', { to: 100,

    so I don't think this is the problem however I think the
    problem lies with the code below.
    In the spry Detail Region and Effects Sample this works on
    both browsers the only difference is i am trying to show the fade
    in effect on page load in the demo I have noticed
    fadeOutContentThenSetRow('{ds_RowID}'); this is a strange one
    because even without the onclick the fade effect shows in Firefox
    however doesn't in IE7? maybe I need to somehow include this
    statement onload?

  • New OS browser bug in GWT

    You created a bug and I tried to notify you thatit existed in the beta OS 2 but RIM doesn't like to listen to others unless you pay them.
    I use RStudio server alows me to access R scripting language over web browser. It worked flawlessly in OS1 however the OS2 browser forces all text to be capitalized. Caps lock or shift or bluetooth keyboard doesn't fix. It is a bug inOS2 browser that didn't exist in OS1. RStudio uses Google Web Toolkit so I'm assuming the issue lies there.

  • File browser bug?

    Ok, so here i got a problem with photoshop elements organizer 10 on Win 7 x64 pro
    I press Crtl-alt-3 to open the file browser but when i click on the small arrow to open a sub-folder it bring me back to top of the file browser... since i got a lot of files... it's quite annoying to scroll back down each times to get a picture
    I also looked on many forum but i didnt find anything about that... so whats wrong, is it a config in the option or a corrupted file and need a re-install or it is really a bug in the code...   I also have done every up-to-date about the software
      Thank you for considering my post

    Try Ctrl+Alt+2 and see if it’s any easier to work with import batches, otherwise you need to simplify your folder structure. Better still use Ctrl+Alt+1 and work with keywords and albums, then it’s possible to use the full power of the Organizer by searching the entire catalog in thumbnail view.
      In PSE 11 it’s possible to switch between the full folder tree and just the folders managed by Elements.

  • Browser bug for package procedure named "delete"

    One should not use a reserved word when naming stored procedures, but while Oracle allows one to create a packaged procedure or function named "delete" (at least in 9.2 through 11.2), an object so named prevents the object browser and outline window from properly displaying all procedure and function names.
    Test case:
    CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE my_pk
    AS
    PROCEDURE delete;
    PROCEDURE p;
    END my_pk;
    The object browser shows the word "PROCEDURE" but not any of the procedure names.
    - Doug

    Hi Doug,
    Thanks for reporting this issue. I logged a bug for it:
    Bug 14474608 - FORUM - USING DELETE AS PACKAGE PROCEDURE NAME, NAV TREE RENDERS IMPROPERLY
    Also note that using something like "PROCEDURE delete(key NUMBER);" prevents any member nodes from showing in the package's tree. Many other "reserved words" like select, create, insert result in compilation failure in both SQL*Plus and SQL Developer, but apparently your case should work.

  • E60 browser bug

    Hi!
    I found some intresting bug in web browser on E60-1 Rm49.
    I have 2 E60 phones. Old - with 1.0610.02.15 firmware.
    And new with 3.bla.bla.bla ( the newest one) firmware.
    I have GPRS internet connection on my E60.
    Then I try to open some web link on old phone ( http://www.classicrally.ru/calendar/index.shtml for example) I see correct page. And then I try to open the same web page on new phone - I see blank page( white blank.) Reload option doesnt help. I use the one sim card and exactly the same gprs access point name and settings.
    And I want to ask you,
    1. Is it possible to downgrade firmware on new phone to 1.0610.02.15 ?
    2. Is there and different ways to solve it problem?
    Thank you.
    Best Regards,

    1. No;
    2. Try with another browser, like Opera mini.

  • Browsing bug when listing songs by artist

    OK, I'll try and explain this as best as possible.
    Given the following:
    1) You have songs by an artist, from ONE album, with an album tag on the file
    2) You have other songs by the SAME artist, without an album tag on the file
    In this case, if you go on your iPod and browse by artist, the songs WITHOUT an album will NOT appear under that artist
    Next case:
    1) You have songs by an artist, from MORE THAN ONE album, with an album tag on the file
    2) You have other songs by the SAME artist, without an album tag on the file
    In this case, if you go on your iPod and browse by artist, the songw WITHOUT album WILL appear under "All"
    So the fix is, you either need to have more than one album by the same artist in order to see the songs WITHOUT an album tag under the "Artist" view in the iPod.
    In both cases, all the files appear under Songs.
    Hope this makes sense, if not, relpy and I'll help if I can.
    ~M

    Yes, there is; tag your other songs with an album name. You can look them up in iTunes, or http://www.cddb.com/ or some other site that will tell you what album they are from. Then, you will see all your songs and the albums when browsing by artist. See my reply to the other user that had this problem for more details; I seem to have forgotten to cut/paste the fix in my original post

  • Safari "safe browsing" bug?

    I'll try to lay out the situation clearly because I'm not 100% sure where the issue is coming from.
    - macbook core 2 duo, os x 10.5.6, safari 3.2.1 (5525.27.1)
    - trying to visit http://ask.metafilter.com/112449/Whats-with-the-anarcho-butt-flap from a hyperlink in Google Reader (RSS)
    - safari's malware warning screen popped up (The website you are visiting appears to contain malware. Malware is malicious software blah blah blah) and suggested that I look at the google safe browsing page for kodim.net
    SO...
    possibility 1: I have some kind of browser hijack that is causing some links to try to redirect. does not seem likely.
    possibility 2: ask.metafilter.com has been hijacked and redirects to kodim.net. also not likely. I tried to visit the parent domain (metafilter.com) but apparently they are down for maintenance at the
    moment, but then I cleared my cache and tried to visit the original link again by pasting it into my address bar, and I got to the correct page.
    possibility 3: there is an error either in Google's safe browsing API or in Apple's implementation of it.
    I was previously unaware about the safe browsing features (new in this version of safari) and I wasn't sure I trusted them when they popped up (history of phishing "helpful" pages back in the day on my PC) so I did some research to find out if they were legit. This article http://www.macworld.com/article/137094/2008/11/safarisafebrowsing.html indicates that the method by which the filter works is (hope I have this correct)
    - list of hash prefixes for malware sites is downloaded from google to client and each url is checked against the prefixes
    - if a url matches a prefix, the full hash is downloaded and checked again against the url
    - if the full hash matches, the client displays the warning.
    now, I'm not sure if this third possibility is realistic, but 1 and 2 don't seem to have panned out. Is it possible to be attempting to visit a valid, non-malware URL, but have it false positive against a
    hash for a malware site?
    I would be very interested in learning an answer to this.
    also a mini-rant: *** apple for not telling us about this new feature?!? why am I supposed to trust some random warning message that I've never seen before?!? grrrrr.

    Hi Chris
    Any of the situations you cited are possible. This new phising feature IMO is still a work in process. Best way to avoid these types of situations is to add DNS server codes from OpenDNS to your Network settings, and refrain from opening web links from outside the browser. Also, deselect Safari's "fraudulent site" check in the Preferences>Security panel.
    Go to System Preferences>Network. Select "advanced". In the DNS panel add on separate lines 208.67.222.220 and 208.67.220.222. Select "OK", then "apply".
    Restart Safari.

  • FYI - E71 browser bug in HTTP POST authentication

    Some time ago I wrote a simple CGI script to upload photos from my old Nokia 6820. (but as the camera was so awful, I didn't use it much...)
    When I tried to use it with my new E71, it didn't work and the browser exited unexpectedly.
    When I had a look, it seems I had a public page with a form to upload a file using  POST, then a CGI script that required basic authentication (i.e. a password). The N71 uploaded the file, got a 401 response, then died. Working browsers upload the file, get a 401, pop up a password dialogue, then resubmit the file with an authentication string and get the success response.
    This seemed a somwhat crazy way to do it, on reflection, so I moved the form into the CGI directory. Now it works on the N71 - does an authentication step on the GET, and sends the authentication string with the first and only POST request.
    (version 100.07.76; says latest for my phone in Canada)

    After having read the RFC 4954, I must agree that the RFCs are a bit contradictory in this case.
    RFC 2821 states that "all buffers and state tables [are] cleared". RFC 4954 states, that "after an AUTH command [...] no more AUTH commands may be issued [...]".
    Taking both statements together, it wouldn't be possible to send two Emails within one authenticated session.
    I digged into that a bit deeper, and discovered that some guys already found this contradiction:
    http://notabug.com/2002/drums-archive/6812
    Unfortunately they simply removed the sentence. Replacing it with a more precise statement would have been much better. Especially the behaviour of the RSET command in authenticated connections should have been descibed.
    So the RSET command resets all buffers and state tables of a _transaction_. The buffers and state tables of the _connection_ remain untouched. So the RSET command shouldn't flush an authentication, because it belongs to a _connection_.
    Due to this misleading statements, we have some (a lot of) mail servers out there which flush the authentication. So it might be a good idea to take out the RSET command after the AUTH, though Nokia/Symbian implementation is not against the RFCs.
    Simply go through the topics, and you will see that a lot of people have problems sending Emails. And they blame their Nokia, because all other mail clients work flawless.
    So I agree: An RSET directly after an AUTH shouldn't do any harm. But in reality it does - due to misleading RFCs and therefore incorrect server implementations. And as you say, RSET doesn't make much sense there, so it should be removed.

  • File browsing bug?

    Hi
    Today a bunch of nice Chinese hackers were trying to get remote access to my tomcat server (6.0.24).
    I booted them out after a few minute they were in trying to load their root kit package. The interesting part is, after I cleaned everything, I took a quick look at their software (their rootkit webapp) and it's pretty interesting.
    The root kit gives the user total access to the system and allowing the user to traverse outside of the tomcat container. What is bothering me, even though Tomcat is running on top of JVM, why didn't Tomcat developers protect against access outside of its own container?? From that webapp i could access the drive root like it's just a regular file browser, and execute commands as SYSTEM (equivalent to root user in linux based systems), doesn't make any sense in my mind.
    is this an expected behavior or did I miss something in the security configurations?
    The root kit is a modified JFilder class. I cannot attach a file here but I can send it by email if anybody wants to install it on their system to play around with it offline.
    best!

    Tomcat runs on a JVM and the JVM generally has full system access, except the parts you protect on the OS level of course.
    However, it is possible to install security policies in the JVM itself - a good example of that is the sandbox in which Java Applets run which is severely limited. So with some work you can protect your system in any way you want.

  • Help with Browser Bug

    Hi everyone, hope someone can shed some light onto this for
    me. I've design a site that works fine in most browsers, but has a
    couple of bugs in Firefox.
    If you take a look at the sample below in Internet Explorer
    & Firefox you can see there are 2 problems.
    1. The background image that should repeated in the body
    doesn't appear in firefox (so it just displays the b/g colour)
    2. The login boxes on the right hand side have expanded out
    of the page and I have no idea why!
    Any help, would be brilliant.
    Heres the site and style sheet:
    http://www.annamik.com/
    http://www.annamik.com/annamik.css
    This is the CSS for the body and login box:
    #body {
    background: #92ADBB url(images/body.gif) repeat-y;
    width: 771px;
    margin: 0px;
    padding-top: 0px;
    padding-bottom: 0px;
    padding-left: 0px;
    padding-right: 0px;
    #body1 {
    margin: 0px;
    width: 470px;
    float: left;
    padding-top: 28px;
    padding-left: 27px;
    padding-right: 28px;
    padding-bottom: 28px;
    #body2 {
    margin: 0px;
    width: 189px;
    float: left;
    padding-top: 22px;
    padding-left: 26px;
    padding-right: 27px;
    padding-bottom: 28px;
    .loginBox {
    background-color: #CBD8E0;
    border: 1px solid;
    border-color: #FFFFFF #83939E #83939E #FFFFFF;
    padding: 15px 15px 24px 15px;
    color:#1B488C;
    display: block;
    font: bold 10px Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    line-height: 18px
    Cheers

    I see it just fine in FF1.5x.
    > 2. The login boxes on the right hand side have expanded
    out of the page
    > and I
    > have no idea why!
    There is something inconsistent with your math in the tables
    on the right
    and the containing box. The widths/padding are pushing the
    table much wider
    in FF than in IE.
    Try doing two things, and you'll see -
    1. Add cellspacing="0" to the <table> tag
    2. Remove the right and left padding on the td.
    The table will now behave properly in both browsers. This
    means that you
    have sized the table without consideration for the padding in
    the cell.
    Reset the table width from 189 to 159 and it's going to look
    much better
    (now you can put the padding back).

  • Symbian Web Browser Bug?

    ok this is how to replicate it on the 6710, but i got a feeling it will happen on any symbian OS. or it could just be Nokia Browser 7.1 at fault...
    OK, i was using orb, I set it to load the video in the flash player, i then streamed a video, I think clicked on Settings/Options which takes you to the browsers settings/options not the flash player options, then simply exit.... you can't it does not crash but then you can't get out or close the browser until you reset .
     Generic method > Browser > Youtube > load the video into full screen mode > options/settings, see if you can then exit out without shutting off the phone.
    Anyone else have this issue?

    Correction don't full screen it, instead do this (Proper full website, not cut down for mobile)
    Web Browser > Youtube > click on a video > now move the cursor over the flash video > options option > scroll down to settings. > now you'll see the settions menu
    [menu]
    General
    Page
    Privacy
    Web Feeds
     Now exit, close the browser.

    When I load the Files browser/viewer, it seems to hang when expanding various folder that previously were handled without a problem. I just get the loading... text but nothing ever happens. At this point, the only way for me to load files is via just using File/Open... Is anyone else experiencing this?

    I am displaying a smartform as a pdf in a browser.
    I fill in my selection criteria, hit submit and my smartform is displayed in the browser.  The problem is that when I hit the back button, an extra page has been created in the browser cache and it is expired.  It references the selection page.
    I have tried all the suggestions in the forum, but I cannot get this issue resolved.
    i am on 640 using IE 6 sp2.
    Any help would be great
    Darren

  • File Browser Bug in Windows 8.1

    Hi,
    When one starts copy paste to a folder, file explore displays copying and shows status such as 24% copied
    in the situation where it is FORBIDDEN to copy anything without permission !
    Whereas Windows 7.1 showed "preparing to copy" which was right!
    After claiming copied for example 24% Win 8.1. asks Replace / Skip/ Let me decide question
    Whereas Windows 7.1. asked the same question BEFORE it started to copy and show copy status !
    Also if one wants to copy only the new files Win 8.1 shows the same problem !
    Step barckwards from Windows 7.1 !

    Hi Alex,
    Example:
    E:\WEB <-- 1,378 Files, 80 Folders
    I:\Backup\WEB <-- 1,378 Files, 80 Folders
    Step 1: copy in E:\WEB
    Step 2: paste in I:\Backup
    Step 3: Copying 1,459 items from E to Backup <-- *** error here ***
    Step 4: Message box
    Replace or Skip Files
    The destination has 1377 files with the same names
    Replace ...
    Skip these files ...
    Let me decide for each file
    Right order:
    Step 1: copy in E:\WEB
    Step 2: paste in I:\Backup
    Step 3: Message box
    Replace or Skip Files
    The destination has 1377 files with the same names
    Replace ...
    Skip these files ...
    Let me decide for each file
    Step 4:
    a) copying 1,459 items from E to Backup <-- *** error also here, copying message ONLY if it copies!
    Please, try with bigger data and with data you definetely don't want to copy!
    Also, compare to earlier Windows versions.
