BT Anytime calling plan

Hi
Yesterday I've upgraded my calling plan to Anytime on order website it said that the calling plan would be activated on 09/04/13 which is the same day I've upgraded the calling plan. Now I'm confused as I've received this email:
Thanks

  • Unlimited anytime call plan

    Hi,
Anyone know if the unlimited anytime call plan is still available without the 12 month contract?
    Spoiler (Highlight to read)
    TIA

    Thanks for the replies.
I have taken the plunge on the 12 month contract special offer with 3 months free, then it's as DS mentioned on a month by month basis. There's is one still listed in the terms and conditions for the 12 month rolling contract if you look start digging around, but I can't see the point when you get 3 months free with the standard 12 month contact.

  • Anytime call plan and hub phone?

I have been a BT customer for almost a year now, and have upgraded to anytime call plan, and i use 2 hub phones.
I use the hub phones just like landlines, i make and recieve calls all the time wether computer is on or not.
I am just wondering now, will my anytime UK free call plan prices still count, or will i be charged the minute rate for using hub phones?
    Appreciate any info

    Two possibilities to consider.
Assuming she doesn't have one already, you could get your daughter a basic unlocked mobile phone for less than £20. Then you can get a SIM-only deal from a supermarket (think beef lasagne) for a tenner a month for 500 minutes of calls and 5000 texts. You'll probably need to stress that it's 500 mins and 5000 texts a month, not a day.
You could spend a one-off £30 on the recently-reduced BT6500; looks like a bargain right now. If gentle persuasion doesn't work you could then block calls to mobiles.

  • Unlimited anytime calling plan and calling feature...

I have Unlimited anytime calling plan and it says that I can have up to 3 calling features at no extra cost -
I already have privacy and caller display as 1 calling feature But when I try to order 2 additional features it says there will be a charge of £6.
Has anyone else tried this , am I reading it wrong ?
    Ta,

Yes the three calling features are 1471,1571 and privacy.
Don't BT provide these free of charge anyway ?

  • Anytime Call Plan

I recently signed up to The Unlimited Anytime Plan........and was under the impression that Caller Display was Free......however the caller display has never worked, so I called BT and was informed that it should have been activated and apologised but it would be activated within 24 hours.
Later that day I was browsing BT's home page and checked the Anytime Plan and it was as set out below :
    The Unlimited Anytime Plan includes:
Phone security and privacy See who's calling before you answer, keep your number private and stop unwanted sales calls – all for no extra cost when you sign up.
But Under The legal stuff at bottom of page -
    Calling Plans and line rental:
Unlimited Anytime Plan – 3 months free. Offer extended to 30th June for orders placed via BT.com or by special invitation. Available to new Unlimited Anytime Plan residential customers signing up for 12 months. Usual cost of Plan (£4.99 a month) payable from month 4. Discount via bill credit. Line rental payable at £11.54 a month with Direct Debit and paper free billing. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and may be withdrawn at any time. Exclusions and conditions apply.
Call Features at no extra cost. Customers must make at least two chargeable calls with BT per month, otherwise BT reserves the right to charge £2.59 a month for BT Caller Display or £1 per a month for the standard BT Answer 1571 service.
So I rang BT again and the operator confirmed that I would have to make two chargeable calls per month...I asked for it to be deactivated which was confirmed.
The following day lo and behold the Caller Display started working on my phone. I again phoned BT and was told that NO the charges did not apply as set out above but I asked for it to be deactivated, which was confirmed.
Lesson learned - All that glitters is not gold.

That's not what it says in BT's official price guide. For Privacy at Home, the eligibility criteria are:
"In order to be eligible, Consumer customers must make at least 6 chargeable or inclusive calls per quarter with BT, (excludes calls made with BT Broadband Talk or Chargecard). Should these calls not be made, a charge of £7.77(Inc VAT) per quarter will be applied for the Caller Display service. Business customers are excluded from the BT Privacy At Home package.
Consumer customers who are billed monthly must make at least 2 chargeable or inclusive calls per month with BT otherwise a charge of £2.59(Inc VAT) per month will be applied for the Caller Display service.
The Caller Display element of Privacy At Home is subject to availability."
    http://www.bt.com/pricing/current/Exch_Lines_boo/2-3410_d0e53.htm
In other words you only have to make 2 calls a month, NOT 2 paid calls a month.

    Hi,
Started to use smart talk back in march all seemed ok .. installed it on my mobile and started to use it  Very Pleased!
untill i looked at my bill on-line, was shocked to see BT were charging me dispite me being on "Unlimited Anytime Calls".
I phoned smart talk and the said it was a billing problem and that my account on line was set at "Unlimited Evening & Weekend calls".
After a few phoncalls to billing they said it would be sorted when my next bill was preduced and that i would
"Not be billed for BT Smart Talk" ............ I was !!!!!
I now have to wait and hope the refund is on my next bill
Is any one else in this situation and what (if anything) can i do about it?

Many thanks again for the replys ... that is the link i used to make my complaint (twice) in ther past 3 months and nothing was done with my bill ... on BT website under
My Products My Phone Show phone details
I have an Anytime Calling plan add-on but My BT doesn't show this
    I can't see my calling plan add-on
Calling plan add-ons aren’t shown in this area of the site yet, but we're working on it.
In the mean time, you'll see a lower calling plan.
This is what i think is the problem?

  • Being charged whilst on Anytime Call package

I took out an Anytime Calls plan which was activated on 28/3/2015. Looking at My BT online I can see that I have been charged £6.19 for calls to an 0207 landline number on 31st March. I have spoken to BT 3 times about this and they say the charges will be refunded but the usage charges on my account keep on going up.
All the calls have been to UK landlines and have lasted less than an hour. Not very happy. Please can one of the mods look into this?

whta does it say in MYBT for your add on package - unlimited anytime?

  • My calling plan and line rental are not shown in M...

When I look in My BT at 'My Services' under Phone, it shows Unlimited Weekend Plan - correct.
There is no mention of the Anytime Calls package that I am actually paying extra for, although this does show up on my previous bills. There is also no mention of the Line Rental Saver package that has also been paid for.
    WHY?
    Dave

The two telephone companies I use (no names) are probably equally awful for their not giving an accurate picture of what they do before putting a corporate hand straight into my bank account. The obvious inference is that they are dishonest which would, I might think, impact on their image and sales. What I have learnt to do is to complain immediately when there is an unexpected charge. People who operate by stealth usually withdraw the hand pretty smartly when they are challenged.
    Good luck,
    Art

  • BT Hub phone calling plan

I currently have 'anytime' on my landline - can I switch this to my hub phone instead?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi Merlinsmum,
I reckon it would be best to leave it until your contract is up. The thing is that with broadband talk you effectively have a second account with free evening and weekends or the £4.99 anytime plan which would mean paying for 2 calling plans, landline and talk. If you have the anytime plan on your landline you can wait until the term is up and then go for a basic package and add the anytime to your talk account. Hope that makes sense.
    Cheers

  • Wrong call plan

I signed up for the Unlimited Anytime (first 3 months free) call plan in early March, but when my latest bill arrived a few days ago, I found that i'd been put on the Unlimited Weekend plan instead, resulting in a much higher bill. I've written to the BT Correspondence address in Durham with a copy of their confirmation email to prove that the mistake is theirs, not mine, but reading some of the horror stories on here, i'm wondering how long this will take to sort out. Anyone else had this happen and got it sorted without much delay?

Hi Hutcho ,did you sign up over the phone or via the web?if it was over the phone there should be a record of the date/time you called in regarding this as with all/most companys everytime a customer calls in a digital footprint is usually left i would call BT regarding this as they should hopefully adjust your bill for any calls that should have otherwise been free ie:0845/0870 & landline calls only of course,i imagine this is on the basis you take out the UAP with them over the phone that way they should give you the benefit of the doubt as you are actually not just disputing the calls but also disputing that you want to upgrade/should have been upgraded.

  • Re: Unlimited anytime call package?

I've recently upgraded to unlimited anytime plan as part of my broadband and calls bundle.
However in 'My BT' there is an inconsistency.
It says I am on Unlimited Anytime plan and the bullets suggest that I am only on unlimited weekends. See below.
    I'm now confused.
My understanding was that all calls from my main landline phone would be free.
    Is this correct?
    Unlimited Anytime Plan
Part of your Broadband and Calls bundle
    Your call plan
Unlimited calls to UK landlines from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday, for up to an hour
Inclusive calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers at weekends
Get BT privacy, BT answer 1571, and BT 1471 calling features at no extra cost

Hi there Donh and welcome to the forums.
The bullets you mention and show are unlimited anytime calls, if it was weekends unlimited only Sat & Sund  would be blocked out.
Don't forget free!! for up to an hour, redial after 55 minutes.  01 02 03 and 0845 0870 only and not channel islands.

EDIT   Ohhhh   I must have misread I see what you mean now there must be a mistake.
You could try online chat, find the link at the top left of the bills and call packages board.

  • Calling plan - unlimited evening calls?

Hi, I have unlimited weekend and evening calling plan from few months, but when website BT has changes (My Account) it change my calling plan as well!
Now I'm in unlimited weekend plan, and all my calls made after 6pm are charged!!!
I have no info by post, email or phone.
How can I make complain? Why BT change my calling plan without contact me?

    MDKGunner wrote:
I've got the same problem when i signed up just for the calls i chose the unlimited anytime plan as i knew that i would have to end up making a lot of calls but they stuck me on the weekend plan and it's costing me a lot of money especially in a day and age when money's hard to come by

  • Have a discontinued calling plan. Will I be forced into new plan when my contract is up next month?

I looked around for the answer, but couldn't find it.
I have an old plan, "family national freedom 900", with two lines on it.  The total is 59.99 + 9.99 (talk only, no texting). My contract ends 9/29.  We have two samsung hues.
When my contract ends next month, will I be forced to change to one of the new, more expensive family plans?
Both phones are eligibe for Ne2.  I'd like to get a droid2, and I understand that I'd have to do the data plan for 29.99, and I'd be happy keeing the hue for the other phone (or we could upgrade it to another feature phone that does not require a data plan), but I'd really like to be able to keep my current calling plan.  Any idea if this will work?  Should I just hold off on upgrading until I know what is going to happen with my plan?

You may want to ask this on the Alltel board  - Former Alltel Customer Assistance - (if you haven't already) where those more familiar with Alltel, the changeover, and all the nuances and ramifications can give you a better answer.  It may be possible to do what you want and still keep your Alltel plan, but my guess is you would be switched to a Verizon plan.
The closest would be the Talk plan for 69.99 for 700 minutes (same price, but fewer minutes) and then add the data plan for the Droid 2.  If you do not upgrade, you will be able to keep your plan indefinitely.  When you do upgrade, most likely you will need to change your plan to a Verizon one...there are some people that have kept their Alltel calling plans with smartphones though, so it IS possible. I'm not sure of the details of the plans and phones involved though....

  • Error message when I calling planning layout in the STS

    Dear
I'm trying to use Status and Tracking System with BPS ( SEM 4.0 SP10,  BW 3.5 SP14 ).
But I got some error messages when I calling planning layout in the STS screen..
    I designed 2 lower unit(A,B) and 1 upper unit(C) for the test. and using Bottom-up work-flow.
    I did
    1. Create Planning Area in the BPS0 ( also Level, Package, Layout ..)
    2. Created Web Interface in the Web Interface Builder using the upper BPS Layout .
    3. Customizing STS
        - Create Sub Plan & Session
        - Asssign Hierarchy to Sub Plan
        - Determine attribute for created planning session ( Bottom-up, Auto mail )
        - Define Header characteristics for planning session to contains the planning package completely.
        - Determine Date, Person Responsible and Layout.
    4. Send Start mail
    5. Open STS Web Start Screen ( using B Unit responsible user .)
When he click "Open Planning" icon in the screen the following error messages were happened...
I've no idea for that because I didn't use any variables or offset settings.
I guess that comes from header settings for the planning session because when I deleted the header settings for the planning sessions, I could see the planning layout.
but I could not use lock processing in the STS.
Could you tell me what's happening to me?
      [ Following error message ]
Correct the data on variables and offset in character string "?
    Message Number  UPC_FW092
    Long Text  Diagnosis
Character string "", which contains data on the variables and offset, has an invalid format, and cannot be converted.
    Procedure
Correct the character string, so that it has the correct format. A correct entry on variable and offset has the following form:
    <VARIABLE_NAME> [{ + | - } OFFSET]
    Examples:
    VAR0
    VAR1+1
    VAR2 - 2.
Also check whether the variable, that you want to use is available in the planning area.

    Hello,
this seems to be a bug. The error message should include a variable name between ''. Since there is none, the function that raises the error was not called correctly.
It's not likely that this is related to STS since STS does not use variables at all. It's probably a problem with the layout. If you can't resolve it, please open a message to SAP Support.
