Budget report in sap CO

Dear Expert,
I need report that can show this information :
cost element, cost center, description, proposed budget in year xxxx, approved budget in year xxxx.
Is there any SAP standard report which suitable with this requirement?

Hi,
Do you refer to budget or to planning? Anyway, the concept of 'approved/proposed budget' does not exist in CO in these terms. I presume, you are using several versions for planning. You will have to build such a report yourself (via ReportPainter - GRR1).

You are right, i.e you can view the budget/planning report from S_ALR_87013611. But some other reports are available to view the planning data like S_ALR_87013612, S_ALR_87013613, S_ALR_87013614 where you can view the actual vs planning data. You can view only planning data from KSBL, KSBP etc.

Finacial budget reporting

Hi SAP Gurus ,
I Have a query from the Client with regards to finacial budget reporting
He wants a FINANCIAL BUDGET REPORT per contractor/vendor rather than FINANCIAL BUDGET REPORT per cost centre , He requires per contractor/vendor wise rather than cost centre wise because the vendors perform several operations across many/various cost centres
Can you guys please help me on this

Hi Shankar,
You cannot put a budget on vendor in SAP. Of course, you could consider implementing PSM-FM component and defining the strategy which will establish fund centre based on the vendor data, but I wonder if it's worthy.

Reports in SAP BPC

Dear All,
I uploaded datafile succssfully. And i am displaying uploaded data in BPC-Web---->Darg & Drop report.
But When i am trying to dispaly my uploaded data in BPC-Execel-->Reporting & Analysis->Bulid a report using dynamic template
my budget items are disaplying but amounts are not diaplaying.
Can any one please give me guidence.

In SAP BI, we have standard BI content reports which is present which just needs to be installed and is ready to be used.We are trying to find such Audit trail reports and unable to find those reports in SAP BPC 10 NW version.
Could you please guide us if we are missing anything.

Budgetting report

Dear IM expert,
Hi... i'm newbie for SAP. I'm working on budgetting and upload to SAP using abap program. I'm require to check if budgets i have already uploaded, are right or not. I'm using KPF6, KPD6, CJR2, CJS2 to check and i tried to make a custom report for budget report. Can somebody help me how to check this budget quickl or maybe help me how to make a budget report?

EC-CS Reports via SAP NetWeaver Technology

Hi Guys,
I would like to know if its possible report consolidated financials (EC-CS tables) via SAP NetWeaver technology. Can I use web services to fetch data from EC-CS tables (FIMC table, for example).

EC-CS. Does consolidation of financial data based on group, company code,business area, profit center etc.
SEM BCS Does consolidation of financial data based on consolidation units which can represent, for example, companies, plants, business areas, profit centers, and cost centers.
EC-CS part of ECC 6.0 and SEM BCS 6.0 does the same thing.
EC-CS part of ECC 6.0
Pros:
Consolidated data is on the same system ECC 6.0 ( OLTP)
The reporting part is carried out with report writer.
Drill down and basic reporting.
Cons
Reporting on large amount of data does take a toll on the system
Rolling 12- 24 month report
Comparing actual/prior/budget
Reporting flexibility is limited
SEM BCS 6.0
Pros
The data is extracted into the underlying BW/BI system which operates exclusively for consolidation.
Sky is the limit in terms of customization and delivery of reports with Bex functionalities like Bex Analyzer, Web Application Designer, Report Designer.Reports can also be directly printed in Excel, Pdf format.
Reporting needs wont affect the performance of ECC 6.0.

Default setting for Budget Report S_ALR_87013558

Dear All,
In Budget Report S_ALR_87013558, when it is executed every time when we enter, 2 number formats are displayed, one in Lakhs (Factor 1,00,000) and one in units (Factor 1). When I change it to Factor 1 through "Number format", then it comes as per selection.
This is only in prod server, dev server is ok.
How can I make it default to normal for all users on client level, i.e. to Factor 1.

Execute the report, now change the number format as per your requirement, now after changing, Press Ctrl+S, this will save the setting to this report. so if you execute the report system will take the number format which you saved as default setting.

AP aging report from SAP

We found that AP aging report from SAP is not tie with Balance in Balance sheet. Please advise how to find the report which match with our requirement.
Concept of the AP aging report is to age outstanding AP as at the end of month (Open item date). We found that A/P aging report which we currently use is cannot match to balance per G/L. (Please see detail in attached file). And the balance in AP aging report is always changes if we retrieve data on difference timing.
Additionally, this report is not show the reconciliation account, please advise whether it is possible to show summary line which sum by reconciliation account.
Please advise if you have another SAP transaction or any advise on this.

For ageing report please go to fbl3n and go for change layout there is a option for ageing and posting period choose those two and subtotal it according to posting then you will get period wise meand month wise ageing report for vendor.

here click on "List of Outbound Deliveries" button

Performance issue of BI Reports in SAP Enterprise portal -in SAPNW2004s

Dear friends,
We are integrating BI Reports in SAP Enterprise Portal 7.0 ( SAP NW- 2004s).The reports are running properly .But the issue here is reports are taking long time to open and leading it to performance effect.
Reports in BEX( Bi side) working lilttle better than EP platform.
And Even BI team is looking for ways to improve the performance.
Could you please share your ideas to implement in portal side to increase the performance.

Hello Mr. Reddy,
There are two possibilities for slow performance in BW reports, so we need to look into wether its slow in the BW system or at the frontend.
If the problem resides in the BW system then we should be able to trace the reports
and you can go for a SAP EW or GV sessin and SAP will provide recommendations.
If the problem resides at the frontend
Update the frontend servers to the latest frontend release.
Recommended Frontend Release 700
Recommended Frontend Patch 18
Update the frontend servers to the lates SAP GUI release as soon as possible.
Minimum Recommended SAP GUI Release 6.40
Your frontend PCs should fulfill the following requirements:
Each frontend PC should have 500 MHz and 128 MB main memory.
Because of a limit in the addressable memory, Windows 95 is not supported as Frontend OS for 3.X BW Systems. Please refer to SAP Notes 161993, 321973 and 366626 for details.
Please also check SAP Note 147519 "Maintenance strategy/ deadlines 'SAPGUI'".
If you still require any assistance from SAP support then raise a message under component ( probably BW-BEX-ET-WEB).

Hi ratnakar,
The first step is to identify which component is causing the performance problem. Run your report in the portal but try appending the string &PROFILING=X in the end of the URL. This will generate BI statistics which you can use to see which component (Java stack, ABAP stack, Database) is causing the performance issue.

Hi,
In your report footer, set it to create a new page before it is printed (In 'Section Expert', select the Report Footer -> 'Paging' tab -> Check 'New Page Before' checkbox). Throw your Terms & Conditions into the Report Footer section.
If you already have a Report Footer that you want to keep, just split the footer into two sections (Right-click the Report Footer section -> 'Insert Section Below') and follow the same procedure for the newly created section.

Print Preview using crystal report in SAP B1 slow.

Dear all,
I face another problem. Print preview using crystal report in SAP B1 is very slow. Although i have create a query view in SQL server but it's still slow for my user. First time i create using table in crystal report. just drag the table. It's take more than 10 minutes. After that i move all the query to view in SQL server , it's take 1-2 minutes to print preview some time more.. But i think that it's still slow. Does any one know how to print preview fast. Just like in PLD.
