Bugget billing plan-billing doc creation

Hi experts,
For a resential customer that is monthy charged for 50$(BBP) a billing doc. is created with different billing lines.
The tarrif contains differents components: Fixed amount, distirbution cost, transaport cost, energy cost, rental cost, etc..
I see in the billing lines that the 50$ is split between those differents components.
How SAP billing engine breaks this amount into differents small amounts corresponding to those components ?
Can anyone explain how I can debug this when creating the BBP with t-code EA61, in order to follow the creation process ?
Thank in advance,
Tierno

Hi,
Here is the Documentation on BBP amount, it may be somewhat helpful too.
The basis for amounts is extrapolation - billing simulation. Try setting breakpoint in Function Module ISU_BUDGET_BILLING_EXTRAPOLATE - it returns the simulated billing document per contract. That should give an initial breakdown of amounts, which then gets distributed over open due dates and rounded. Look into ISU_BBP_EABPS_CREATE - it turns the billing document lines into "internal BBP positions". The entry point to the whole BBP Create, Change, Display Logic is ISU_O_BUDBILPLAN_OPEN.
Have fun and good luck - the logic is much more complex and *err, how shall I put it..?* convoluted than simple sounding 1) simulate bill, 2) split the result and 3) round it
cheers,
Janis

  • Billing plan in doc sales without amount

    Hi...!
In sales document does not reflect the amount of the billing plan periodic (header), what will be the procedure to show amount?
    thanks in advance...

    Hello Carol,
Please check whether you have assigned the billing plan to your item category.
The assignments should be made for both the sales document type and item category.
    Please check and confirm.

  • Down payment - billing plan bill. value

    Hello people,
I would like to ask you for help with payment in advance scenario. I have one materiál in sales order with value and item category TAN. Then I put new item with item category TAO. Billing plan is active and is possible to edit data in it. What I have:
Is there any chance that in this field will be actual value of sales order - automatically?
    Thank you.
    BR,
    David

    Dear Abul Rahim,
few years ago there was a SAP consultant in our company and together with my colleague bulit this solution. It was never used (for down payment is still used very old solution which is hard to modify so I decided to try this "new one").
How it should work. Create standard sales order with requested materiál items. Then if down payment should happen, insert new service item with item category TAO. Then for this service item create FAZ invoice. After this document is cleared by incoming payment, delivery from sales order is created. And then standard F2 invoice.
This scenario works well, the only thing I do not like is to fill "Billed value" manually to "Billing plan".
As I assume, you mentioned use TAO item category for all "materiál" items. I am not sure whether this is proper solution. If I will have dozens of items to modify in case of down payment is necessary - sales people will hate me. And I am not sure how to handle delivery from this items. For me is preferred solution to use extra service item for down payment. If it means that there is necessary to fill amount, so be it. But if there is a way how to do it automatically, I would be happy.
    Thank you and best regards,
    David

  • Billing Plan Billing Block Change when saving the sales order

    Dear Gurus,
We have SD Integrated with PS. We create the sales orders and pull the billing plans milestones from WBS.
Once we generate the billing plans, system will propose the billing block for all the line items of the milestones which normally comes from the billing plan configuration/item category.
Would like to know the appropriate userexit to change the Billing block to "XX" if some of the requirements are not met when we create or change the sales document.
Below is what i am able to see but seems to be not helpfull.. please guide..
    User exits in program RV60FUS1
        BILLING_SCHEDULE_DELTA
For milestone billing a percentage value is fully invoiced for each billing deadline. In the case of deviations between the original item value and any later changes, you can use the user exit to determine whether the difference should be stored in the final invoice or sent to the next deadline.
        USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_FPLT
This user exit allows you to create your own fields in table FPLT.
        USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_FPLA
This user exit allows you to create your own fields in table FPLA.

    Dear Friend,
I hope you can make it with the above user exits.Consult your abaper and try it.

  • Billing plan/billing date/erdat of order

    Hello you wise people,
I have wondered is it possible to put billing date to same date like creation date of order?
I know you can give rule for determing billing date, you can also give in advance or not,
but how you determine that order has been created 24.9.2008, billing rule and period
is 1.9-31.12.2008, but you want to fix billing date to 24.9.2008 (FPLT-AFDAT).
    Regards, Kirsi

    hello again.
i came across the following answer by GSL in thread "Invoice Date Problem" posted by Raju dated oct 12:
"In a regular scenario if PGI date is 13-10-2008 and billing is done on 18-10-2008, the billing date by default should be 13-10-2008. If this is not happening and you are getting the billing date as 18-10-2008, check the copy controls from delivery to billing VTFL for the item category. Here, Data VBRK/VBRP field might be maintained as 011. If so, change it to 001 or 007."
this might be worth looking into.  if it works, GSL deserves the points (although i don't know how you could get the points to him... hahahaha).
    cheers and regards.

  • Billing planes

    Friends,
How Billing planes (Milestone) can be used in the down payment processing?
Here we are collecting 30% payment during sales order creation & 70% during shipment.
    Thanks

    Hi Friend,
Mile stone billing is part of PROJECT SYSTEMS MODULE integrated with SD.
Milestone billing is practiced by Infrastructure companies and Power Ind,and construction industry(projects).
    Billing Plan for Milestone Billing
Milestone billing means distributing the total amount to be billed over multiple billing
    dates in the billing plan.
As each milestone is successfully reached, the customer is billed either a percentage of
the entire project cost or simply a pre-defined amount.
During sales order processing, the system determines from the item category whether a
billing plan is required and, if so, which type of plan
The type of billing plan that is determined at this point is set up in Customizing and
cannot be changed in the sales document.
Billing plans for periodic billing and milestone billing plans for project-related milestone
billing have different overview screens so that you can enter data relevant to your
    processing.
For example, for milestone billing, you must be able to enter data to identify the
    individual milestones.
    IMG configuration requires :-
    1. Maintain billing plan types for milestone billing in OVBO.
    2. Define date description in SM30 - V_TVTB.
    3. Maintain Date Category for Billing Plan Type IN OVBJ.
    4. Allocate date category in SM30 - V_TFPLA_TY.
    5. Maintain date proposal for Billing Plan Type in OVBM.
    6. Assign Billing Plan Type to Sales Documents Type in OVBP.
    7. Assign Billing Plan Type to Item Categories in OVBR.
    8. Define rules for determining the date in OVBS.
Milestone billing is typically used for billing projects, such as plant engineering and
construction projects. Such projects often include a series of milestones that mark the
completion of different stages of the work. In the SAP R/3 System, milestones are defined
in a network along with planned and actual dates for the completion of work. The milestones
are also assigned to the billing dates in the billing plan.
Each milestone-related billing date is blocked for processing until the Project System
confirms that the milestone is completed.
Delivery-relevant order items for which a milestone billing plan applies are billed on the
basis of the requested delivery quantity and not on the total of the confirmed quantities.
The connection between the project and the sales document item is made in the individual
schedule lines of the item. Each schedule item can be assigned to a network in a project.
To display the project-related data for a schedule line, proceed as follows:
In one of the overview screens of the sales document, select
    1. Item -> Schedule lines.
    2. Mark the schedule line and select Procurement details.
The following figure shows an example of milestone billing where only the Contract have
    been billed :
    Order Item Turbine 100,000
    Billing Plan
Billing date Description % Value Billing Block Milestone Billing Status
    01-10-94 Contract 10 10,000 - x x

For each billing date in a milestone billing plan, you can specify whether the billing
    date is:
    1. fixed
    2. always updated with the actual date of the milestone
    3. updated with the actual date of the milestone, if the date is earlier than the
planned billing date for the date

  • Billing plan and billing status

    Hello Friends,
I would like to clarify if my understanding is correct before I configure a billing plan:
    1. Billing status is not seen in billing doc but in preceding doc like a DO.
    2. For a Billing Plan, there can be 1 billing plan at item level for a set of settlement dates.
If the plan is defined at header level, only 1 billing plan is for all items.
    3. Contract is a sales doc type  and contract data is only at header level.
Is this considered an Order-related billing when invoice is printed at each billing date?
Is the contract considered as the reference doc for the billing doc sent to customer? I believe so. please confirm.
    4. There is no such thing as master billing plan that item level billing plans need to be linked to.
    5. date category : this is at billing date level and cannot be changed?

  • Enable billing plan to purchase requisition made in PS

    Good afternoon, Mr.
I'm generating purchase requisitions through the Project, and I'm running into a problem:
When generating the purchase requisition SAP is not taking into account the invoicing plan registered with the material component, thereby to generate an appointment request in the amount of the request for the date of need, instead of generating commitments over the time as registered in the billing plan.
How do I activate the billing plan in purchase requisitions generated in the ER, could have programmed the commitment over time.
    Att,
    André Santos

    Hi,
I think you are creating an invoice plan against the activities in a Project, When PR is created against a project system generates commitments, but this invoice will not get copied to PR, as PR is not a legal document, but when we convert this PR to PO we can copy the invoice plan into PO and can have control on this invoice plan as per milestones set in it.
In your post you mentioned billing plan, billing plan will be relavant for SD billing and it will not have any impact on commitments wrt project.
    Thank

  • How to bill the customer as per billing plan according to a contract

    Hello All
Plz help  me out I am  stuck, scenerio is I am doing a contract with Perodic billing plan for every month. in contract the billing date shows rightly. but when I do vf01 for first month billing it shows all the billing plan days . but when I select first date for billing system allows me to save the bill. but later when I again go for vf01 for next month billing from putting the same contract no it shows a log stating that "paritially processed". Plz show me the path how to bill th customer on every month. is my process is right or any alternative Please suggest. I am waiting eagerly. thankx in advance.

    Hi  Mohan ,
In the periodic billing plan, you can adjust conditions to the length of
the period, only if you use the following calculation type for the
    condition:
                 M     quantity - monthly price
                 N     quantity - yearly price
                 Q     quantity - daily price
                 P     quantity - weekly price
In this case the pricing determins correctly a prorated value
according to the lenght of the period in the billing plan.
Please check your conditions and use in a periodic billing plan
only conditions which have the mentioned calculation type. Otherwise
you will get every time the same value for a 'long' period or a
    'short' period.

    Periodic Billing
Some customers may require invoices to be processed periodically, so that all deliveries due for billing by a certain time are put into one collective invoice.
    Prerequisites
To fulfill this requirement, a billing schedule must be defined for the customer:
A factory calendar which contains special rules instead of working days must be created. These special rules refer to the days on which billing should be carried out. If, for example, an invoice is to be issued every last working day of the month, then this day must be entered as "valid from" day and "valid to" day. This day must be the only day defined as a working day in the calendar for each month.
The ID-number of the factory calendar must be specified on the billing screen of the payer's customer master record in the Billing schedule field.
    Activities
When a sales document is created, the system copies the invoice date from the factory calendar and enters it into the relevant document as follows:
On the next billing date determined by the factory calendar, the system selects all sales orders and deliveries and puts them in a billing due list. They can now be billed.
As a result of the ID-number of the factory calendar defined in the customer master record, all sales orders or deliveries for that customer over a particular period have the same billing date, and they can be combined in one collective invoice.
The following figure shows how the system proceeds if a billing schedule has been defined for a customer.

  • Creation of Billing Plan data

    Hi all,
I am using [BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2] for creating Sales order
and i also have billing plans data to be updated in the sales order. But i dont find any structures for populating the Billing plan data into the BAPI.
But i found the SD_SALES_BILLINGPLAN_CHANGE function module for updating the Billing plan schedule data. But this function module needs [Billing plan number / invoicing plan number] assigned to the sales order from the table VBKD.
When i create the Sales order through BAPI, the [Billing plan number / invoicing plan number] is not getting updated and i dont know how to update the billing plan for the sales order created using BAPI.
Can anyone help out how to create the Billing plan data for a Sales order?
    Regards
