BUILD ERROR in command line

Hi, I'm taking the CDJ-310A - Developing Applications for the J2EE Platform course and have run into a problem when issuing a call to asant. When I run asant test the message it gives is "Ant could not find the task or a class this task relies upon.".The errors I get refer to the junit package.
I've check the CLASSPATH and it seams ok:

my CLASSPATH it's ok, i added the junit.jar file path there, and still does not work
Any help solving these errors would be highly appreciated. I'm stuck right now. Thanks!

Talkabout wrote:
my CLASSPATH variable looks like this:
.;C:\Program Files\QuickTime\QTSystem\QTJava.zip;%J2EE_HOME%\lib\j2ee.jar;%PB_HOME%\lib\pbclient.jar;%JUNIT_HOME%\junit.jar;.
what's wrong? what i missed to include here? what is that ant,where can i get it, and how should i include in the CLASSPATH to be able to compile junit from command line?
Thanksdocumentation for "The asant Utility"
[https://glassfish.dev.java.net/javaee5/docs/DG/beaep.html]
which includes a link to Ant. Here's that link:
[http://ant.apache.org/]
You'll need to read the manuals.

    This is my problem:
    I have Archlinux x86_64 with Gnome (last version).

    now, I see the config.log file and I see the line:

    Are you using AUR https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/epso … 320-sx218/ ?
    I updated the PKGBUILD to remove the line that says 'gcc -V >&5'  from the configure file
    libtoolize
    sed -i 's/gcc -V >&5//' configure
    chmod +x configure
    but it still doesn't build:

    libtoolize: putting auxiliary files in `.'.
    libtoolize: linking file `./ltmain.sh'
    libtoolize: Consider adding `AC_CONFIG_MACRO_DIR([m4])' to configure.ac and

    I'm running a build script and getting the error below.. My colleges dont get that error building on ubuntu.. I'm running 64 bit arch..
    Could this be a missing package or something?

    but I've been trying to look at the build scripts and I cant find where it adds the -m64 option? Could it be that its added automaticaly by the arch build system somewhere?
    And the build script will always build 32 bit so I dont get why they would ever add the -m64 option in our script

  • Why not all jars picked up by ojdeloy and how to generate build.xml from command line and not JDEV GUI - quick question

    Hi All
    We have 11.1.1.7 ojdeploy to compile our app.
    We notice in the log that not all jars are used in classpath arguments when we explicitly set them up for compilation.
    eg:
      <path id="classpath">
        <pathelement location="../../Oracle/Middleware/oracle_common/modules/oracle.adf.share_11.1.1/commons-el.jar"/>
        <pathelement location="../../Oracle/Middleware/oracle_common/modules/oracle.adf.share_11.1.1/jsp-el-api.jar"/>
        <pathelement location="../../Oracle/Middleware/oracle_common/modules/oracle.adf.share_11.1.1/oracle-el.jar"/>
        <pathelement location="interface/public_html/WEB-INF/lib/a.jar"/>
        <pathelement location="interface/public_html/WEB-INF/lib/b.jar"/>
        <pathelement location="interface/public_html/WEB-INF/lib/c.jar"/>
        <pathelement location="interface/public_html/WEB-INF/lib/d.jar"/>
    </path>
    Log Output -
    [ora:ojdeploy] /path/to/Oracle/Middleware/jdk160_24/bin/javac

        [ora:ojdeploy] /path/to/interface/public_html/WEB-INF/lib/c.jar"/>
    1- Is it because it depends on how jpr or jws are configured ?
    2- How can we automatically generate a build file of the application from command-line (as opposed to using Jdev IDE to click to generate a build.xml) ?

    The first  warning is happening because you're stating drivers for input devices without need. You haven't disabled hotplug so evdev gets used instead of kbd. This is normal, and you should change the driver line from kbd to evdev so that whatever options (if any) you've specified for the keyboard get parsed.
    The second warning is about you not installing acpid.
    The third I have no idea about, but look at the synaptics wiki. None of the (WW) are related to your video card.
    And every card that has 2 or more output ports show up as "two cards". You also don't need to specify the pci port in xorg.conf. edit: this is the general case with laptops, might be different for desktops.
    When I do lspci -v I get:
    00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])

    Memory at dfe00000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512K]
    Capabilities: <access denied>
    And it doesn't matter if it errs in trying to sli up with it self. That's just not a possibility.

  • Flash Builder 4.7 - Command line ExportReleaseBuild unable to compile to Captive Runtime?

    Hi,
    I am working on a project with the following setup:
    - AIR Desktop running with the ExtendedDesktop Profile with GPU rendermode
    - Apache Flex SDK 4.11
    - SWF version 18
    - Implements the FRESteamWorksNative Extension
    - Flash Builder 4.7 Premium is our work enviroment
    Our problem is that we can compile the project in Flash Builder manually as Captive Runtime, but when we run it with ExportReleaseBuild in our build.xml, it seems to forget our Captive runtime target and just outputs the installer.
    This is our buildscript:
    build.bat:
    SET FLASHBUILDER="%ADOBE_PATH%\%FLASHBUILDER_PATH%\FlashBuilderC.exe"
    %FLASHBUILDER% --launcher.suppressErrors -noSplash -application org.eclipse.ant.core.antRunner -data "%WORKSPACE%" -file "%BUILDXML%" desktop
    build.xml:
    <target name="desktop">
         <fb.exportReleaseBuild verbose="true" destdir="bin-test" project="ProjectName" basefilename="ProjectBaseFileName" packagetype="native" certificate="Certificate.p12" password="passwordToUse"/>
    </target>
    .actionScriptProperties:
    <buildTargets>
        <buildTarget buildTargetName="default" platformId="default">
          <airSettings airCertificatePath="Certificate.p12" airTimestamp="true" anePathSet="true" version="1">
            <airExcludes/>
            <anePaths>
              <anePathEntry path="steamworks/FRESteamWorks.ane"/>
            </anePaths>
            <newLaunchParams/>
            <modifiedLaunchParams/>
            <newPackagingParams/>
            <modifiedPackagingParams>
              <Parameter name="-target" value="air-captive"/>
        <Parameter name="-extdir" value="steamworks/"/>
            </modifiedPackagingParams>
          </airSettings>
          <actionScriptSettings version="1"/>
        </buildTarget>
      </buildTargets>
    Any help with this is much appreciated, and if I missed something, please let me know.

  • How to run Report Builder Report from Command line

    Hello,
    Can Oracle Report Builder Report (run time report) run from Command line ( SQL prompt or Shell script).

  • Perform NetBeans build steps from command-line using Ant

    If I build a project using NetBeans, it creates the lib directory and populates it with dependant .jar's. It also puts the class-path in the manifest file.
    If I build using Ant ("ant jar" from build.xml folder), it creates the .jar without the class-path and without the lib folder.
    I want to build a simple project from the command-line, using Ant (or anything else that can process the build.xml file without having to modify it outside of NetBeans), and have it produce the same output as NetBeans.
    The project is a simple Swing app.
    How do I do it?

    Yes, I'm aware of that - there doesn't seem to be much participation in the NetBeans forum. I did actually ask the same question there with no (timely) response, so I thought I'd ask here as there seems to be far more people here who could answer my question.

  • Java programs runs in eclipse but no of errors on command line

    I have a strange problem. I made program that runs fine in eclipse IDE but when I try to compile it using 'javac', it raises a lot of errors. All of same kind with location different.
    The error is ' cannot find symbol '. Symbol: class AllegroGraph.... ' cannot find symbol '. Symbol: variable AGPaths....
    ' cannot find symbol '. Symbol: class valueSetIterator...................
    How can I remove this error as this error is definitely not letting me to specify a bat file to run this program as the way I am advised in my other thread about bat file.

    Are you using 3rd party API for your project? It looks like you are using APIs from [this site|http://www.franz.com/agraph/allegrograph/].
    To compile from the command prompt, you have to specify the 3rd party API (jar files) as classpath. Like so...
    javac -cp <3rd party>.jar *.java

  • Programmatically Changing Build Specifications from command line

    I use a batch file that calls a VI to build several LV projects.  I found the article http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/5051 to get started and build projects; however, I was wondering if anyone has been able to change build specifications without opening the Application Builder dialog?  -> I would like to build an app. with a version number using the command syntax:  labview.exe <mybuild.vi> -- "project1.lvproj" "version number"
    Any thoughts regarding this problem?
    Thanks,
    Adam

    I have done some research and there doesn't seem to be a way to change the version number when building a project with this method.  If I find out otherwise I will post to let you know but I don't think it is possible.  I would look for another way to accomplish what you want by incorporating the version into the file name or something like that.

  • Error REP-0159: Syntax error on command line

    Hi
    I have a report where one of the paramers it recieved is PV_WHERE. The PV_WHERE is the next one (the problems is in the date value):
    WHERE CPV_CLIENT=2 AND CPV_DIVCLI='000001' AND CPV_ACCION='000001' And CPV_FECREC>='15-02-2007 00:00:00' And CPV_FECREC <= '02-03-2007 23:59:59' AND CPV_ALMACE='01' AND CPV_CLIENT IN ( SELECT CEM_CODCLI FROM CLIENTES_EMPRESAS WHERE CEM_CODEMP ='1') AND ( NOT EXISTS ( SELECT 'X' FROM ACCIONES WHERE ACC_ESTADO = 'BL'
    AND ACC_CODCLI = CPV_CLIENT AND ACC_CODDIV = CPV_DIVCLI AND ACC_CODACC = CPV_ACCION) OR CPV_ACCION IS NULL) AND ( NOT EXISTS ( SELECT 'X' FROM DIVISIONES WHERE DIV_ESTADO = 'BL'
    AND DIV_CODCLI = CPV_CLIENT AND DIV_CODDIV = CPV_DIVCLI) OR CPV_DIVCLI IS NULL) AND NOT EXISTS ( SELECT 'X' FROM CLIENTES WHERE CLI_ESTADO = 'BL'
    AND CLI_CODCLI = CPV_CLIENT)
    With this where, the report ,called from the form, crash . But if i change the where and delete the hour,seconds,minutes from the date, the report works.
    The select, with hour-minute-seconds included, works if i execute it from SQ-plus or from the report runtime directly.
    I dont know why the same select works in reports directly or in SQL-plus and not from the form
    ANy advice?
    Thanks

    Well, looks like there could be little conflict.
    Check that the parameter is date/time. Also try setting the format of the date/time so that there is little ambiguity. Use to_char or something like that.

    FlashBuilderC:
    An error has occurred. See the log file
    C:\code\software\web_stuff\.metadata\.log.
    I've attached the .log file that is referenced.

    Why isn't this documented somewhere? or if it is why isn't it easy to find?
    This link ought to have a link to common issues people run into.
    I just spent an hour trying to solve this same problem. FlashbuilderC.exe wouldn't even work on very small projects until I found this post, so thanks.
