Bullet by bullet and not slide by slide in Keynote '09
I am trying to have my points appearing bullet by bullet and not slide by slide - can't find the way to do that!
Select the text box with the bullets and go to the Inspector>Build Tab, choose a build in from the drop down menu Effect (Appear will be the most basic), then go the drop down menu Delivery and choose by bullet.

Some online storage systems such as Google Drive show Keynote as a folder.
We use Dropbox to distribute all our file types and Keynote does not have an issue using that. -
I took my iPhone running today and when I returned I was not able to slide it open or type in my pass code. All buttons are still responding. I have tried restarting it multiple times and even restored it, but the touch screen will not respond to anything. I also cleaned the screen off with a damp cloth. Please help! I WAS able to slide it open in the middle of restoring it but not able to click on any apps. Help! My life is on my iPhone and I am a nurse on call!
Try restore as new using computer iTunes.

My lock screen is frozen! It will not let me slide to unlock or touch the screen at all. I can't power it down either because the lock button is broken. A friend of mine said I might need a new Digitizer? Is there anyway I can avoid that? Pleasae Help!
I am having the SAME exact problem! Except instead of lock button broken it's my home button so I can't do the whole "put in recovery mode" deal. My screen only says "tap the home button 3 times" and it has my screen locked until I hit the home button but since it is broken I can't get in my phone at all. I have all of my work info in my phone so I'm screwed and can't get any help. PLEASE let me know if you find a way around this...!!!

You should be able to turn it off on the iPad by using 'a tap-to-select and then double-tap to activate/type process' and 3 fingered scrolling to go into Settings > General > Accessibility and turn it 'off' (so to use the 'slide to unlock' tap the slider and then double-tap it, and to type your passcode tap a digit and then double-tap it etc), or you can do it by connecting to your computer's iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4064

Adding music to more than one slide and not the entire presentation
I love the way Keynote looks and behaves, but it fails to compete with PPT on certain aspects, such as adding the same audio track to more than one slide and NOT have it play for the entire presentation. Using PPT (and I hate PCs!) you can have a track play for "n" number of slides. I'm frustrated that I cannot do this with Keynote! I don't want the track as a soundtrack for the entire presentation. I want to add another audio track to, say, the last two or three slides only and something else for all the other slides. I looked through the user manual, forums, etc. and found that I can only add a soundtrack to the entire thing or a different audio to only one slide.
Question: What if I cut (that last two slides) and paste the the slides as a new Presentation with its own soundtrack, then reincorporate that back and paste it into the original presentation? Will that work or will the original soundtrack take over the entire presentation again?Anyone remember Claris Works for Mac back in the early 90s? Now, that was a gem! What were they thinking when they got rid of that one (and replaced it with AppleWorks!)?
Good point, but one which Apple has heard a zillion times, and so sadly chosen to ignore. The really heartbroken among us remember AppleWorks from the mid-'80's, the world's first integrated suite, then ClarisWorks, then AppleWorks; and, of course, Beagle Bros. and BeagleWorks. After I tried to update my Ipad mini to the newest update, it kept saying hello on my lock screen in different languages and then when I slide the screen across, it says connected to itunes but it's not doing anything!! By the way my Ipad mini is plugged into my computer and connected to itunes!! Please help me!!
FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY. -
Cannot find anyplace to tell a page to wrap within browser margins, so one does not have to slide it back and forth to read each line::::::::::::
Yes, there are so many pages on-line that -- when made small enough to fit within the margins so one does no have to use a scroll bar on EVERY line, moving it back and forth, back and forth -- look like a FINE-print Bible page (!! tiny !!) if you keep reducing it to fit within the margins.
ALL because we cannot find a place to tell it to WRAP to FIT. Could have sworn I've seen some feature like that somewhere at one time, but if it is here, I cannot find it.

After updating my phone yesterday it worked for about 30 minutes. Now however, it will not let me "Slide To Unlock" the screen is totally unusable and i have alarms that go off every 8 minutes because i am not able to get into my phone to them off. has anyone else had this problem with it being "stuck"?
Basics from the user guide have always been, and still remain, restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new.

I have iMovie 2011 and I imported PowerPoint slides with a soundtrack. Now I want to delete a small highlighted clip and it won't let me no matter what I do! Rosemary
First off....do NOT install MacKeeper! It creates more problems than it prevents, and is a royal pain to get rid of once you realize this.
What I would do, since it sounds like you don't want to reorganize your email filing by the use of Smart Mailboxes, is to simply use the search box at the top of the Mail window to find only the emails you want to delete....then select them all and delete them. For example, if you wanted to delete all of the emails from [email protected], you would type that into your search box, which will filter your inbox to only show you emails from [email protected] Then Select All, and delete them. You haven't deleted any others....only those from that person.
Then clear the search box to see the rest of your emails again.
Repeat this process to delete emails from other senders you no longer need.
(Once you've selected them all, by the way, you can control-click one if you need to save it). -
How can I send a copy of my Keynote Presentation to someone else so that it will include my slide notes (uploading it to iWork seems to exclude my notes and only shows the slides). A quick response would be greatly appreciated!
I'd try Dropbox (http://www.dropbox.com/), which you and your recipient both have to have. It's easy, and the free version would probably be enough. There are any number of other services available for emailing large files (google that). Of course, your recipient must have KN installed to be able to view it correctly, or can view it in PP, but with some loss, primarily transitions/animations.

Change printing defaults to print a individual slides and not have a border
It is annoying to always have to choose individual slides and turn the border off while printing. Is there a way to change this default so it is always that way?
