Business Area not set in IT0001 during Batch input

Hi!
I'm trying to load the IT0001 trough a batch input, but the fields for cost center, business area function and organizational assignment are not derived from the position.
The batch input is running the entry action.
But if I run the action normally, the fields are field in correctly.
Can anyone help me? Thanks a lot.

Solved...
The problem was the information passing to the dynpro. In the ABAP coding we were setting those fields to ' '.
Thanks a lot

  • Business Area for Vendor Line Items during Payroll Posting

    Dear All
    We are in ECC 6 version of SAP. We are using Business Area for Internal Financial Statement. We are facing a problem with regard to Business area in Payroll posting. Business area does not appear in vendor line items when we make posting of payroll for multiple business area. We have setting technical accounts for HR. We read SAP note 203276 and it seems that it is possible. Can someone tell us what is the reason that business area not coming in vendor line item while payroll posting.

    Hi
    That part we have already done. The problem only come when we run payroll and there are vendors belonging to several business area in that case system keep the business area field blank. In case if we set field status required system give error. That is why we run payroll by each business area we also have maintained technical account for 1001.

  • Parking not possible during batch input

    Hello,
    Iu2019m facing a problem for creating a parked vendor invoice in background (Tcode FB60 / FV60) thru BDC or BAPI.
    I looked for a BAPI and I just found "BAPI_ACC_INVOICE_RECEIPT_POST", for posting FI invoice : it doesnu2019t correspond to our requirements (we need to park).
    Then I used "PRELIMINARY_POSTING_DOC_WRITE" for parking an invoice but when we see the parked invoice in FBV2, the displayed Tcode is like FBV1. The users want the vendor invoice header, I mean the same screen as FB60.
    Finally, I tried to use Batch Input to park but I got the following message :
    "Parking not possible during batch input"
    Message no. FP140
    Procedure
    In Customizing, you can control whether an error message is issued."
    I found nothing in IMG about control message
    And in sdn forums, some said that bdc doesnu2019t work for an enjoy transaction (MIRO, MIR7, FB60 ..) but we already created a BDC for MIR7 and it works.
    Thanks,

    You can use [CALL TRANSACTION|http://help.sap.com/abapdocu_70/en/ABAPCALL_TRANSACTION.htm] like BDC.
    via CALL TRANSACTION you may use [bdc options with NOBINPT |http://help.sap.com/abapdocu_70/en/ABAPCALL_TRANSACTION_BDC_OPTIONS.htm] so the systeme field sy-binpt will be initial.
    You will need to manage the error messages in your program.(no SM35) one solution is to build the BDC for records with errors.
    There are many threads on [difference Between Batch Input and Call Transaction in BDC|https://forums.sdn.sap.com/search.jspa?threadID=&q=differenceBatchInputCallTransaction&objID=c42&dateRange=all&numResults=15&rankBy=10001]

  • Business area not capturing

    Dear Experts
    Business area not capturing for tax code while doing invoice verification.
    Can anyone helpme
    Regards
    Kumar

    Hi
    Use t-code F.5D and F.5E for business area adjustment, Or else consult you FI Consultant
    he Business area is never filled in automatic posting such as taxes or bank accounts. You have to customize the adjustment retroactively in the IMG. You will find it in "General  ledger Accounting -> Business Transactions -> Closing -> Regrouping ..." Once you have set all the accounts require, in functional you have to run all the Regroup transactions (General Ledger -> Periodic Processing -> Closing -> Regroup -> Balance Sheet Adjustment ...)
    This process ensures the zero balance per business area necessary for
    creating business area balance sheets.

  • Forgot password for users for whom challenge questions are not set

    Hi,
    I have a scenario here where initially the environment property for force setting challenge questions during first login was not set to true.
    But it has been set to true later. But for users created prior setting this property to true, the forgot password link is taking to a page to answer challenge questions which obviously is not working.
    Is there anyway to handle this scenario without doing ADF customization? For example say, to force all previous users also to set challenge questions for whom the challenge questions are not set.

    Hi, In your scenario, since user has forgotten his/her password and he has not set his answers to questions, so the only option left is calling Help Desk. Help desk guys should educate end users that go to OIM->My Information -> Set Security Questions. This is the only easy way I can think of.

  • FV50 - Parking not possible during batch input

    Dear SDN,
    our client has a custom program for GL Document batch input through TCode FV50.
    Though the answer should not be, the question here is very straightforward: why, in this program, the mentioned error occurs for some users, but not for others, giving ALL the input parameters are the same???
    1 - Batch input runs
    2 - FV50 is displayed
    3 - (Menu) Document -> Park
    4 - Error: FP140 - Msg: "Parking not possible during batch input"
    Note: User who gets the error has ALL the authorizations that users who don't get the error have.
    Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

  • Comboboxes are not set  on the 1st time a row is clicked in the dataTable

    I have somewhat the following setup:
    I have a DataTable that is filled with a listof objects, a actionListener is handeled when a row is clicked.
    Under the Table there are two ComboBoxes (lets call them Category and Item) that get their values from lists of Objects. The values of the list that backs the Item combo depend on the selected value of the Category combo.
    Lets assume the values look like this:
    CategoryA
    ---ItemA1
    ---ItemA2
    CategoryB
    ---ItemB1
    ---ItemB2
    Together with some textboxes, they should represent the values of the clicked row in the Table.
    Now the problem:
    When the comboboxes have a different value than the row that is beïng selected the values of the comboboxes and textboxes are not set correctly until the 3rd time the row is clicked.
    It also doesn't go into the onClickMehod in the backing bean before the 3rd click. This is checked by a logger.
    an example:
    before clicking, the category combo is set to "CategoryB", the Item combo is set to "ItemB1" and the textboxes are empty. The row that is going to be clicked has as its category "CategoryA" and as its Item "ItemA1"
    1st click:
    the form still shows the values like they were before clicking, the log doesn't show that the method is triggered
    2nd click:
    the Item combo is set to "ItemA1", the category is still set to "CategoryB", the textBoxes are still empty. The log still doesn't show that the method is triggered
    3rd click:
    the Category combo is set to "CategoryA", the Item combo is set to "ItemA1", the textboxes also have their correct values.
    the code is as followed:

    ps: the enviroment is JSF + Spring + Hibernate

    The <h:messages/> tag is where the validation exception is shown, but no validation is used on the form, no other exeptions are sown.
    the List<Categories> is filled at a setPageLoad method which is bound to the form by <h:form binding="#{backingBean.pageLoad}">.
    The List<SelectedItem> of the categories box is filled in its getter and filled with the values of the List<Categories>
    And both the List<SelectedItem> of the items box and the List<Item> are filled in the getter of the List<SelectedItem> of the items box
    so instead of that i should rewrite it to something like this:

        selectedItems = new List<SelectedItem>();
        categories = CategoryService.retrieveCategories(); //gets all categories

            selectedCategories.add(new SelectItem(categories.get(count).getId(),categories.get(count).getDescription()));
        if (selectedCategory == 0){
            selectedCategory = categories.get(0).getId();
        for (int count = 0; count < items.size(); count++) {
            selectedItems.add(new SelectItem(items.get(count).getId(),items.get(count).getDescription()));
        if (selectedItem == 0){
            selectedItem = items.get(0).getId();
    public void CategoryChange(ValueChangeEvent vce){
            try {

  • Business Area not coming in FS10N layout.

    Dear SAP Friends,
    I am working in a client where "Document Splitting" was activated on the basis of "Business Area" from the 1st August,2008. In this client their is four business areas. When I am getting the balance sheet as per Business Area in F.01 every GL shown the amount as per business area & also a some of amount is shown under the not assigned head. Amount under the not assigned is total of document of having no business area.
    Now my client wants that all not assigned amount should be distributed as per the business area & not assigned amount will come to zero.The field of business area is "GSBER".
    Now for that I am testing it on development. I have selected on document having no business area and updated the table "BSEG" for filed "GSBER" for that business area manually through ABAP. When I am seeing the same  document under FB03 the system shows the Business Area correctly which I have given in the table. But when I see the General Ledger balance in FS10N (In layout selected business area column) the same document does not give business area in that business area column. But when I select it for details it shown the business area in that document.
    Now my issue is why this is happening ? or is their any another way to do this ?
    Because i have to update all of documents of before 1st, August 2008 with no business area .
    Please give any solution ASAP & for helpful answer points will be surely awarded.
    Thanks & Regards in advance

    Hi,
    Touching a cluster table like BSEG thru ABAP is a tricky thing.  You would need to work out all linkages to other tables for the data you are touching, would suggest a where used for field business area and update all other tables relevant to the data, like BSI* and BSA*.
    For FS10N, the data is not read from BSEG but rather from the totals tables like GLT0.
    Cheers

  • Business area not picking up for substitution...

    Hi
    I have created susbstitution for GL account..for substituting business area for GL account....(tax GL account
    Tax line item is automatically created in document.....i want business area to be pickep up for the same.
    We want substitution create for Business area updating ;- When Document has 4 line item at the time of TAX and TDS line item the Business area not update, MIRO Document also not update the Business area.
    Please reply
    thanks

    Dear Vijay,
    Please kindly read the SAP note number 199886     Business area in tax line
    In the value-added tax line items, the field "Business area" is NEITHER
    automatically filled NOR can you enter a value manually.
    Postings to VAT accounts must be made WITHOUT business area. The reason
    for this is that the field "Business area" does NOT exist in the tax
    data. Therefore,the advance return for tax on sales/purchases can also
    only generate postings WITHOUT business area and these postings must
    correspond exactly to the original tax postings in your account
    assignments. Otherwise, the tax accounts would have steadily increasing
    business area balances.
    Unfortunately I must inform you that the business area is not available
    for substitution because it can cause inconsistences in AM,CO and MM
    modules.
    Substituting the B.A.field is a modification to the standard SAP
    system. To make the business area field substitutable you must have
    written an ABAP to update table GB01 for the GSBER field, this is
    all explained in SAP note 42615.
    I hope this helps.

  • Business area not determined for line item?

    Hello All,
    I am trying to create a sales order. When I enter a line item and enter plant for the item, it gives me an error "Business area not determined for the line item #" and it does not accept the item.
    I have already checked in the enterprise structure in IMG that the business area is defined and assigned for this plant.
    Is there anything else need to be done? Do we have to define or assign the business area in material master?
    I would appreciate  if somebody can answer.
    Thanks.

    There are three rules for determining a business area:
    o   Rule 1: plant and division
    o   Rule 2: for each sales area
    o   Rule 3: for each plant and item division
    See what you are missing

  • Why some of the tables are not set cacheable by default.

    Hi all.
    in the case management analytics in OBIEE. (Case Management Analytics Fusion Edition)
    Some of the tables for example (W_CASE_D, W_INCIDENT_D, W_LEAD_D) are not set Cacheable.
    That means, select table, right click, properties, Cacheable is NOT ticked in.
    does any one knows the reason why ?
    Thanks,
    Shanker.

    Hi Srini.
    Sorry, I think you did not understand my question.
    basically some tables are set as 'Not Cacheable' in Case Management Analytics, I am not sure, why ?
    do you know may be why ? all tables are marked as 'Cacheable' when looked from Table > Properties.
    But few ((W_CASE_D, W_INCIDENT_D, W_LEAD_D) NOT, WHY ? is it on purpose Oracle has done this way ?
