Business Events Organization Specific

Hi
We have a number of Operating units and are using the standard business event / wf_bpel_q method to expose the events to SOA.
However when we switch the business events on all events from all orgs will be sent to the SOA layer when the requirement is to only expose one of the operating units as we use a third party system for this operating unit. Is there any way to use switch the business events on but limit it to one organization only ?

Follow up Business Event by specific qualification date.

Hi Expert,
In the follow up business event, I want to transfer qualification to attendee with the start and end date of business event. For example, the business event date is held on 07.05.2007 11.05.2007 and the qualification will be given to all attendees by t-code: PV15. By standard the start and end date of given qualification is 11.05.2007 31.12.9999. My intention is to give the date as 07.05.2007 11.05.2007 instead. Is there any solution?
Here is the background of the question. We migrated the training history record from legacy system in to SAP and stored it as qualification, and start and end date of qualification are the duration of (start/end date) of training course.

Sorry my English is not well. I'll tried.
Our training process like this. When any employee who has attended the training course, he/she will be given the qualification according to the particular course. The qualification should be dated the same as the duration of training course. For example, the Techinical English course is held on 07.05.2007 - 11.05.2007. When the courese is finished, the user will do the follow-up activities by using T-code PV15. By default, the start date of given qualification is 11.05.2007 and end date is 31.12.9999. But our intention is to give the start date of assigned qualification as 07.05.2007 - 11.05.2007.
There is any user exit available to do that?

Badi and Business event( Urgent)

      I am new to badi and business event 1120P. Please post how this business event exactly comes in to picture in this badi. also how to find this business event?
And also Post the logic or code. The requirement is given below . Pls Post the solution. Its very urgent.
Enhancement Summary
Two user exits are needed to determine the correct G/L Account and Cost Center on Shipment Cost documents and post the Material Group on the Accounting document. BADI_SCD_ACCTG and Business Event 1120P can be used to accommodate the new functionality.
Business Process
Specific G/L Accounts and Cost Centers have to be determined to post on the Shipment Cost document. This is needed to provide accurate management reporting capabilities on shipments for Sales Order or Stock Transfer Order. A new custom table must be created which contains the following information: Distribution, Mode of Transport, Account, Cost Center Material group. Distribution is an identifier here if this shipment originated from an SO or STO.
There are no screens involved in this enhancement.

Values for Distribution are:
1 = Primary Distribution to Refinery
2 = Primary and Secondary Excluding refinery
All entries must be checked against SAP config and master tables
User exit BADI BADI_SCD_ACCTG will be used to determine the correct G/L Account, Cost Center and Product Group based on Distribution and Mode of Transport. This BADI gets called only when a new Shipment Cost document get created.
Once the BADI determined the new values it populates field c_vfkn-sakto with the G/L account, field c_vfkn-kostl with the Cost Center and exports the Product group to memory.
There is no field on the Shipment Cost Document to store the Product group. Therefore another mechanism must be used to get the Product Group on the accounting document.
Business Event 1120P can be used to import the Product group out of memory and put it on BSEG-MATNR. Structure BSEG_SUBST must be enhanced with field MATNR for this purpose.

BADI_SCD_ACCTG     Business Add-In for Shipment Cost Account Assignment
Business Framework     Business Event 1120P can be used to import the Product Group from memory and to populate field BSEG_SUBST-MATNR.
This event gets called from different places. It needs to be ensured that it only populates the value when it was called from BADI_SCD_ACCTG.
Custom Table     A look-up Table needs to be maintained for Distribution, Mode of Transport, G/L Account, Cost Center and Material Group
Transaction code     To maintain the new table
Append Structure     To enhance structure BSEG_SUBST with MATNR
      Business Add-In BADI_SCD_ACCTG can be used to determine the account assignments for a shipment cost item to set the G/L Account and Cost Center. All data needed to determine the new information gets provided in this BADI.
Logic:
     Determine if STO or SO based on Document Category from internal table I_REFOBJ-VTRLP field VGTYP If is C then Distribution type is Sales Order (Primary and Secondary Excluding Refinery 2 ) else we need to check the receiving plant. If the receiving plant (I_REFOBJ-VTRLK field WERKS) is a refinery the Distribution type is Primary (1) else its a (Primary and Secondary Excluding Refinery 2 ). Refineries can be identified via Function Module ZPLANTCLASSIFICATION. The plant must be passed into Import Parameter IP_SAPPLANT and field INT_PLANTCHAR-ATNAM must be looked up with value SAPTYPE. If it exists and field ATWRT contains RFY, the plant is a refinery.
     Product Group can be determined from the Material master through Material group field MARA-MATKL.
     Mode of Transport will be passed in the BADI in VTRLK-OIC_MOT.
     Select single entry from table ZTABLE1based on Distribution, Mode of Transport and Material Group. If nothing gets selected, error message No entry exists in table ZTABLE1for Distribution (distribution), MOT (MOT) & Mat. Group (material group) should be triggered.
     Move ZTABLE1-SAKNR to c_vfkn-sakto and ZTABLE1-KOSTL to c_vfkn-kostl
     The Material group must be exported to memory in BADI_SCD_ACCTG
     The Material group must be imported from memory in Business Event BP1120P

Any business event is available in OM post creation of order

Hi Every one,
Once the order is booked, i would like to sync up this order into the 3rd party System. I was looking for the business events provided by oracle.
Show/Change Sales Order - A business event (oracle.apps.ont.oi.show_so.create) can be raised to trigger generation of a SHOW SO or CHANGE SO XML message. The value of one of the event parameters determines which of the two messages will be generated. The SHOW SO message contains status information about an order and can be generated on demand or as a result of changes to an existing sales order. The CHANGE SO message is used to notify the buyer of changes to a sales order and can be raised as a result of status or attribute changes on a sales order.
Can we use the above business event for my case. Please suggest.

You cannot use that as that event is specifically raised when you have used order import (OI) for the XML integration. If you are entering the order from the front end then you have two options:
1. Have a node in header level workflow that raises the integration message the way you want it.
2. Or use ASO order feedback concept. I like this one as this gives you what ever even you need to send to the third party systems. It has information about entire order (all tables information). I have some information in this link , but you can find lot more in documentation and support site.

Business Events Type Attachment

Dear Experts,
Greetings!
We have been attaching attachments for business event types . Now Business want see how many attachments were attached for a particular event type.
However we are able to get attachments for a specific event type now problem is how to identify corresponding event type or number of a attchements
Do we have any standard report to get Business events type with reference attachments... or any thing so.

One solution is to, you define the attachments such as resource then you can use the resources to get the number of attachment for each event type.

APPS Adapter (ESB) error while reading standard business event

Hi,
I tested the sample services on TEST (myhost:7780) to consume the standard business event (oracle.apps.ar.hz.PartySite.create). Following exceptions are logged in j2ee log files (Section-1). The business event message is also rejected (see section-2).
Does anyone in this forum ever faced this issue OR any idea to address this issue more correctly.

I've recently had issues with the Apps Adapter for event listening when i upgraded to 10.1.3.3
There have been problems with the way the namespace is derived. I applied patch 6267726 and now it works great!
When I create a new listener for an event, a new xsd is created, specific to the name of the adapter process in EBS and henceforth the payload has that specific namespace attached. For example:
http://xmlns.oracle.com/xdb/APPS/ListenForOrganizationCreate
Events then get raised that reflect that namespace. XSL transformations then need to reflect that namespace in your routing rules.
It may be that the XSLT mappings are expecting a different namespace than you are receiving..
Give the patch a try if you are on 10.1.3.3 and then try and rebuild a process from scratch to see if it works.

Apps/Business events/getting Event name in workflow?

Hello,
I've created a new workflow that is supposed to receive an event (specifically oracle.apps.gml.po.receipt), and I've subscribed that workflow that business event.
Within the workflow itself, I am trying to determine what the event is that spawned the workflow. I had thought a call to wf_engine.getitemattrtext for EVENT_NAME would do it, but that's apparently not set yet, or something's broken. Within the workflow, I have an EVENT_NAME and EVENT_KEY attributes, but neither of them are populated.
The workflow is being started, and processing ok...that is, the p_itemkey (containing the event key) seems to be populated.
I'm on 11.5.9, OWF.G.
Does anyone know what I might be missing?

What business event executes when a Party is updated ?
I tried with
oracle.apps.ar.hz.Organization.update
oracle.apps.ar.hz.CustomerProfile.update
None of these seems triggering when Party information is updated example: Customer Profile, Customer Name itself.

An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_DYNAMIC_OSQL_SEMANTICS', was
not caught in
procedure "RH_BASE_READ_INFTY_NNNN" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a
RAISING clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.

Cause and prerequisites
The system wants to access table HRPnnnn particularly by means of an entry in the infotype check table T777D. This access can be processed in various places, including in the profile generator. Here, a termination occurs if the 'ent' table/structure in the dictionary is no longer available. This generally affcts customer-specific infotypes. These have been created and possibly deleted again. However, the entry in table T777D is not available. You can also import the entry into another system with a transport of the table. If the HRP table/structure is then missing, a termination may also occur in this case.
Solution
You must check on an individual basis which infotype the termination refers to. If it is a customer-specific infotype, the customer is responsible for removing the cause of the termination. If the table entry is a 'remnant', the entry can simply be deleted.
If the termination refers to an SAP structure, you should consult SAP before carrying out any further activities.

CAN WE CREATE A SEPARATE AUTHORISATION FOR BUSINESS EVENT

Kindly let us know whether we can give an authorization specifically for Business Events to acess I.e. R, W
Usually we will give authorization for HR master as P-Origin.
Then they can acess all.
Please let us know whether can we give any authorization for only Training and Event Management or for any particular Business Events.

Yes, ofcourse you can provide authorization only for T&E for the user. Go to PFCG and select the Menu tab and click from SAP Menu, then select the T&E and go to authorization tab, click the change authorization, and change as per your need. Then Generate the Profile. Assign it to the user.

Business Events Data Not Dequeuing

Hi ,
We would like to capture a few business events in oracle BOM and PO that are of interest to us. In order to do this,
we deploy oracle SOA composite with BEPL in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Control. The oracle SOA composite is configured for a particular outbound business event. It should listens on a specific queue WF_BPEL_Q or WF_BPEL_QTAB and de-queues the messages from that Oracle Queue or Oracle AQ Table. In jDeveloper 11g we created a SOA project with oracle applications adapter partner link and a BPEL Process with a receive acvity.
Specifically we are trying to capture the business outbound event oracle.apps.bom.component.modified just to get the event data in this receive.
Partner link configuration: We added the database connection to the oracle EBS instance. Tested it and we
succeded. Chose ANY_SCHEMA in partner link configuration.
We ensured that the JNDI Name here( eis/Apps/Apps ) match the JNDI name provided in the weblogic-->Deployments--
OracleAppsAdapter -->Configuration --> Outbound Connection Pools. For this outbound resource pool, Connection factory interface was javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory. Property name xADataSourceName was mapped to JNDI name of the configured JDBC datasource in the weblogic. When we created the connection pool. We tested and it worked fine. This data source had the connection pool configured to the oracle applications schema with APPS user.
After adding the partner link with the above configuration, we added a receive. We deployed this configuration to the middleware. We went to the oracle EBS modified a BOM component and we expected to having running BPEL instances against the deloyed composite. However, the problem is we are not having any running instance for the composite.
We found that there are entries in the view AQ$WF_BPEL_QTAB with an ENQ_TIME and ENQ_TIMESTAMP but with no DEQ_TIME or DEQ_TIMESTAMP. The ENQ_TIMESTAMP corresponds to the time we modified BOM in oracle BOM forms/Designer and MSG_STATE is READY
The data is being written in WF_BPEL_QTAB for the BOM changes but not getting dequeued by oracle applications adapter/composites deployed in soa server.
Please help me it quite urgent.
Is there anything we are missing on EBS side to be activited for the events to be dequeued

I am able to dequeue the data using manual event testing button. BPEL instance are being created now.
But now no records are being inserted in WF_BPEL_QTAB if i change any Oracle BOM component using Oracle EBS which was working till yesterday.
In morning there were more than 100 records in WF_BPEL_QTAB as i have tested so many time changing bom component. I used this script

Problem Description
we need to listen to the outbound business events of Oracle EBS for BOM/PO modules .
we have created a subscription for the oracle.apps.bom.component.modified by using Oracle Apps Adapter in SOA Suite.
1.
When we are testing oracle.apps.bom.component.modified from(Business Events--Events ---TestBusiness Events) by giving
dummy event key , send date, and xml payload and then click on Rainse in Java.
Then a two records are being created in WF_BPEL_QTAB table and are getting polled by Oracle Apps adapter and two BPEL Instances
are being created in SOA Suite showing the dummy payload which we entered while doing Business Event testing sigle time only.
No record is being created in WF_BPEL_QTAB of oracle EBS if we hit Raise in PL/SQL. tab while doing manual event testing.
2.
If we open Oracle BOM form(Responsibilty-Bills of Material -Bills -Bills of Material SV1) and change the component and save it.
No record entry/data is being created in WF_BPEL_QTAB of Oracle EBS .
Why there is no record entry being created when we change any component from Oracle BOM Form.

Raise Business Events based on condition.

Hi,
Is there a way to raise a Seeded Business event(oracle.apps.jtf.cac.task.updateTask) based on a condition. I want to raise the business event only if there is a update on a certain type of records( if attribute1 is not null or something like that).
Is that posiible?? I DO NOT want to use triggers because that will defeat the purpose of using Business Events.
Also what are the various parameters used for some of the seeded Business Events.

It works like this:
Raising an event is nothing but sending a message to "some one". A message should have content. Parameters are like content of the message. Also the parameters contain who and when they sent it.
"someone" in this phrase is event subscription (subscriber). This someone, while consuming this message, perform the duty you asked them to do (like executing pl/sql code or start workflow so on). To perform this duty they also need to some information which is in the 'content' of your message.
Hence the parameters are very specific to the person who raised the event and who is consuming it.
Every task update will raise an event (like sending a letter) provided the event and subscriptions are enabled. Everyone of these letters will contain task number you just updated.
task1 updated ---event raised --parameter will have task1
task2 update -- event raised--parameter will have task2 and so on.
If you want specific logic raising conditionally, you need to create your own event and raise that event either using trigger or user hooks.

Business Event change after follow up

I've changed entries in table T778T for specific infotypes relating to a business event, such as 1035 and 1024, in the thinking that after I've gone into infotype 1026 of a followed up BE and unticked 'follow up' to change the status back to firmly booked, it would allow those infotypes to be changed. However, when I try to change 1024 for instance, I get an error message of 'No change to business event possible, archived attendance records exist'. Does anyone know if there's a route around this message and changing the event infotypes?

I doubt if one can change the shopping cart after the quote has been accepted.But as far as restarting of workflow upon change in a shopping cart is concerned, it can be controlled using the authorization level (1 to 4) for a perticular role. "4" is the hightest authorization and "1" is the least.It is maintained in -Personalization oject key- BBP_WFL_SECURITY in TCODE-PFCG.
Once the quote is accepted , the PO can be created using the price mentioned in accepted quotation.
In bid invitation document which is created from a shopping cart, line item can be edited but no further line item can be added in this bid invitation doc.

Dear Senthil,
You can create a process in which if a user raises a request to create a new plant/chart of account etc. The alert would be forwarded to the concerning person. After the approval to the master data management department so that they could create the same.
You would have to develop these on your own with workflows. It is currently available for Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Leave Approval, Travel Expense Approval etc. Where the request would be forwarded to corresponding person for the approval.
With SAP NetWeaver, IT organizations can enable an event-driven architecture. Business events propagate from a multitude of systems to the appropriate decision makers in the context of the relevant business processes and are optimally resolved.
Business events can directly trigger an alert in the event resolution dashboard. The business events may occur within a SAP Business Suite application or be triggered by the business intelligence functions of SAP NetWeaver.

Deleting an instructor from a business event

Good afternoon
I have an internal instructor, with a relationship A023 "is reserved for", a specific business event. Unfortunately this business event belonged to a business event type which has been deleted incorrectly ie: the relationships were not deleted beforehand.
I need to delete the A023 relationship between the instructor and business event, however when I go into PP01 to delete it I get the message "Relationship E A 023 P cannot be maintained using basic transaction."
Please can you advise as to how I delete this.

Use SE16N - with &SAP_EDIT functionality for this kind of abnormal data.
Or else use RHRHDC00 report with otype E objid id of the course infotype 1001 subtype A023.
