I want to click on a button that will open a web page inside the same web page. How how I do this?

The frame option is to use an inline frame, or <iframe> into which you place a source url, which can be a page on your site or a pdf or a page on the internet. This call is placed inline, as its name implies. You might want to experiment with its placement in your page, floating, various widths and heights, until you get it the way you want it.

Be sure to style your iframe tag to have an adequate width and depth; those will not style automatically.
If you want it accessible only by mouse-click, consider putting it into a Spry Collapsing Panel that defaults to "closed". Be sure to put the <iframe> tag and its closing tag </iframe>, in this case, in the content area on the Collapsing Panel.

Extensions.
1. Empty Caches
    Safari > Preference > Advanced
    Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
    Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
    Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
2. Delete Cookies
    Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and other website data:
    Click “Remove All Website Data”.

Button Click not opening the Web page.

Hi Experts,
I am working on a requirement to call an external web page on click of a button in the Opportunity page. I am able to achieve this by calling the Window.open() in the details.htm page of the BT111h_OPPT. I am able to open the window on my first click of the button. The second continuous click of the button is not opening the window. But if i click on any other button on the same screen and then click this newly created button is opening the new window. Can you please provide your views in what could be the reason for this behaviour.

We had a similar requirement. You can make the URL unique everytime and that should resolve the same.

I downloaded the latest Adobe Reader when prompted. Since then I cannot use Safari File Print to print web pages - the printer dialogue window opens but the page is blank. Also, when I try to use the safari Help button,the dialogue box is blank.

Back up all data.
Quit Safari. In the Finder, select Go ▹ Go to Folder from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Copy the line of text below into the box that opens, and press return:
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then launch Safari and test.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

Problem opening live web page (url) from within keynote

hi.
i encountered this problem during a recent presentation. i have a standard two-monitor set-up, on my laptop viewing notes etc and presenting on the attached monitor. the transitions between my slides are all set onClick.
so, when i encounter a hyperlink in my presentation (of the web page type), when i click on it, i am not taken to the web page, but rather to the next slide.
how do i avoid this? how do i make keynote follow the hyperlink -- i.e. open the webpage during the presentation?

use '_blank' as parameter, not '_self'.

I have a Mac Air, I opened a web page and it died within a nano second, then I got the beachball for about 40 mins so I turned it off. Now I cant start it up again, I get the chime, the apple a grey screen then I get the pinwheel, it's still going, help

There are several ways to back up a Mac that is unable to fully boot. You need an external hard drive to hold the backup data.
1. Boot into Recovery (command-R at startup; 10.7 or later), from a local Time Machine backup volume (option key at startup; 10.7.2 or later), or from your installation disc (C key at startup; 10.6.8 or earlier.) Launch Disk Utility and follow the instructions in the support article linked below, under “Instructions for backing up to an external hard disk via Disk Utility.”

If you have access to a working Mac, and both it and the non-working Mac have FireWire or Thunderbolt ports, boot the non-working Mac in target disk mode by holding down the key combination command-T at the startup chime. Copy the data to another drive. This technique won't work with USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.

Can not open any web page in Safari

can not open any web page in Safari on the IPad. All other wireless features work fine.

If this does not work then try a reset ,
Reset your iPad by pressing the 'Sleep' and 'Home' button at the same time for about 15 seconds or so. Your iPad will then go through a reset / reboot procedure and will be ready for use within about a minute.
Don't worry about doing this as you will not lose data or settings.

Firefox opens ok, but crashes when I open a web page

I upgraded Shockwave and Flash today, and since then, Firefox will crash when I open a web page. Firefox itself opens fine, but opening Gmail or Facebook causes it to crash with a windows error saying it has crashed.

Firefox 4.0.1 on Windows 7
Flash player V10 plugin
Shockwave V11.6

This is very consistent, happens within minutes? In that case, I suggest this test:

You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
* "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still run
After Firefox shuts down, a small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset).

Opening a long URL on click of button in CRM Web UI

Hi Experts,
I am facing an issue while opening a long URL (length greater than 255 char) on the click of a button in CRM Web UI.
I have declared an attribute zv_url type string and populated the variable in event handler.
Thereafter I have written below logic in .htm:

But the logic is not opening my URL, it is just opening a web window 'res://ieframe.dll/http_400.htm' with error page HTTP 400 Bad Request.
If I try to modify the variable zv_url in debugging with a short url say 'http://www.google.com', it works correcly but due to the length of url, the logic is opening error page.
Can you please help me out with this issue?

Opening a web page in a new tab appear web page from the history

When I like to open a web page in a new tab, is opening a BLANK page and in the new tab's address bar appear a random web page address from history .

Try performing a clean reinstall.

E52 Web Browser only opens the first page

I have connection to internet via my home wlan. E52 can connect to it and when I choose a web page it will open it. But if select a link in a page and try to open that nothing happens. Same thing when I try the preconfigured links for the facebook and youtube. I can open the first page, but I cannot login to the facebook. I have to close the connection and type in directly the page where I want to go. I cannot use any links within the web pages.
Anyone any ideas?

I noticed that Opera gives an error after a while it tries to load the "second" web page, that it has no connection. So obviously the phone disconnects the wlan connection. Is there a way to force the phone to keep the wlan connection open permanently, when the wlan is available? Now it seems that if there is a short break when application does not need the wlan, the phone disconnects the wlan. And for some reason the connection is not established automatically again. But as I see it, the wlan connection should not be disconnected at all.

Integrating PL / SQL with a Button on a Web Page ...

I would be very grateful if someone could help with the following query.
I have a database with a table called '*Tbl1*', which contains the following columns:-
1). tbl1_unique_id (number, primary key);
2). tbl1_title (VARCHAR2, 200);
3). tbl1_description (VARCHAR2, 2000);
4). tbl1_notes (VARCHAR2, 500);
5). tbl1_status (Open, Closed).
I have also created a page, which displays all of the records where the tbl1_status is equal to 'Open'.
What I would like to do is add a button to the page, which when pressed, replaces whatever information is in the tbl1_notes column with a default statement.
I have managed to produce PL / SQL code, which will query the table and update only those rows where tbl1_status is equal to 'Open' when using the 'SQL Commands' window, but I am having trouble integrating it with a button on the web page.
I think that I need a 'Page Process', but I do not know what type (Data Manipulation, On Demand, PL / SQL, etc) or how to set it up correctly.
Any help you can provide with regard to the above query will be appreciated.

Navigate to the page where you would like to add the process. Add the button if you've not already done so. Then click the "create page process" button under the Page Processing column.
Select PL/SQL and click Next >.
Enter a Name and click Next >.
Paste your code from the SQL Workshop and click Next >.
Enter success/failure messages if you like and click Next >.
Select the button you added and click Create Process.
