Buttons when pressed twice - HELP

On my test site www.pullman.co.nz/dda/test/index I have a
flash site with a menu top left. If i press the same button twice
in a row it does not go tot he correct fame - i.e. when the images
button is pressed it goes to the frame "images" but when you press
it again when it is already on the "images" frame it goes to the
frame "intro". Any help would be appreciated.

Well if you have an images button in the images page and you
still want the images button to go to the images page you need to
go to the action script and tell it to go to the propper frame. If
the images page is on the second frame you need to put:
on (release) {gotoAndStop(2);
this will make that button go to the second frame. AKA the
images page. You must also give the same code to each of the images
buttons. If you have any more problems let me knew. <3

Disabling a push button when pressing it....

Hi,
I want to disable a push button when pressing it (to be more specific as the last command to be executed ...).
Although the syntax ... the name of push button ...e.t.c. , i've written are correct:
set_item_property('test.psh_button',enabled,property_false);
the error message that arises is :ORA-06502
when i comment out this line the source code is executed without any errors.....
Can you think of another way to accomplish this requirement...????
Note: i use Dev/2000 v.6i with patch12

hi Sim,
the two tryouts where just to testout the error, not a real solution. My guess was that this error FRM-41032 also occurs in your "real" form, this would cause the ON-ERROR-trigger to fire, and perhaps for some reason your ORA-06502 occurs somewhere in ON-ERROR. So if you've set both navigable-properties to false and the error would be away, that would have been an check on this.
The second one was just to check if the SET_ITEM_PROPERTY-code would work separated from the other logic you have in your WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED. But what you could try in your real code: do a GO_ITEM('some visible and navigable item'); and then issue the SET_ITEM_PROPERTY.
perhaps you can try when you have access to the sources again.

I have an InputField and next to the InputField, there is a Button.
Ii would like to have my application executing the Button when the User presses the "Enter/ Return" Button on his keyboard.
Is that possible? If yes, how??

Hi,
You can try using OnEnter property of the Input field for your requirement. Assign a method to the onEnter property of the input field and now when the user fills data in the field and press enter the method assigned will be executed.

How to set default button when press "Enter"

I have a form and it has only one button (Submit). When I press "Enter", it can submit the form and do the action. However, when I add another button (Normal button, not submit), it cannot perform submit action directly when I press "Enter".
If we press "Enter" and the form can submit automatically, it is more user-friendly than without this feature. Therefore, may I know the method of set the default button when users press "Enter"?

At first I thought the order of the form controls might matter. When I run this code:

While I am in the text box, if I press the enter key the form submits. I originally tried it with the submit and button inputs in the opposite order.
Note that the enter button will not submit the form if you are in a select control (aka dropdown) or a textarea or if your focus is not on a form element. That's the default behaviour. If you want to override that, you'll have to write some javascript.

Actionscript 3.0 when button is pressed twice turns on/off

Alright I am new at actionscript but what I wanna do is when my button it is pressed once it brings up my input text("hiddentext") and when its pressed again it will remove it.

A nice clean way of dealing with this is to put the text inside a movieclip and control the visibility of the movieclip with the button, toggling it to be the opposite of what it currently is. If you were to assign an instance name to that movieclip like "hiddenText", the code for toggling it could be...

The use of the " ! " tells it to be what it is not.

Trigg the 'Query' button when pressing 'Enter' on the keyboard

I have a form with 2 buttons, 'query' and 'reset'.
I would like that the 'query' button is triggerd (pressed) when the user presses 'Enter' on the keyboard. In regular html I think this is accomplished if the button is a 'submit' rather than a 'button' type, but I haven`t found a way to edit the
type of button in Portal.
Users belive it`s very annoying to have to move the mouse over the 'query' button to execute the query, and would rather like to just press 'Enter'.
I`ve tried to use a javascript (onKeyPress), but if you make a javascript in Portal, you`re not allowed to add this to your button, only as an 'form-' or 'field validation' in a textbox.
Is there anyone who knows a way to get this functionality?

One of the AVG add-ons for Firefox has been reported to cause that to happen. Disable that add-on until AVG fixes it.

ADF grays out button when pressed

So, I have a command button. Anyway i can keep it from turning gray when I press it? I want it to be immediately re-enabled because I'm running an Excel file to the stream and I want to be able to do a responseComplete, but when I do that, the button will stay gray.

I get the following error in the WL console and the button stays gray:

Some Songs On iPod Don't Display Artwork Until Center Button is Pressed

Okay, I just got my computer revamped so I had my itunes library file and all the songs saved but I reinstalled iTunes. Now some songs on my ipod are acting weired by displaying all the song info to the left (the firmware calls for them to center when there is no album artwork) and when the center button is pressed twice you see the album artwork as if nothing was wrong. Now no one dare say restore it because that is my backup plan if all else fails. Here are Blured but recognizable pictures of the problem

The only thing that does fix it is removing the artwork, syncing, adding the artwork, and syncing again. Obviously that's a pain because I have to go into "get info", clicking "artwork" and removing it from there one by one because the feature "Clear Downloaded Artwork" seems to not work.

Need help w/ making an object appear WHEN a button is pressed

I've tried to figure this out on my own, but am stumped. I even tried using the .setVisible command... but that didnt work. What I would like to happen is to just have the stick figure appear, sans clothing. Then when the "Add Shirt" button is pressed I want the stick figure to acquire a shirt. Same goes for pants.

Matchcode in OO (call the search help when the button is pressed )

Hi Guys,
I'm using the class cl_dd_document in order to fill a form that contains a input element (cl_dd_input_element) and a button element (cl_dd_button_element).
What I need to do now is to simulate (or build) a matchcode for the button.
For example, the input field is for entering the name of a table, and with the button i want to show all the tables that are elegibles for that field.
Any suggestion?

Frame layout changes when button is pressed again...

Okay so basically I have a button on my frame and when it's pressed it opens up another frame. This is fine, but when the button is pressed again it opens up the frame again but the layout is all over the place.

SUBMIT button works only when clicked twice... Online interactive form

Hi,
I have created a interactive form with SubmitToSAP button. In this I will enter a contract number and will click SUBMIT button.
For the first time it is fetching the contract details properly.
In the same form, i am changing the previously entered value with another contract number and clicking SUBMIT.
Now the details for the previously entered contract number is only displayed. Again if i try for the same value ( which i used for the second time ) and press submit, it is workin correctly.
So, the problem is, except for the very first time SUBMIT button action, the button works fine only when clicked twice..
please help me in solving this issue..

In addition to my previous post, I am also using RESET FORM button from Library.
First I am entering the contract number (say 400000000) in the form and clicking submit button. The contract details are fetched and displayed in the form.
Now i am Resetting the form using Reset Button, and giving new contract number (say 400000020). When I pressed Submit button , the details of the first entered contract number (400000000) is coming.
Then again I am giving 400000020 or any other number, it is fetching the details correctly for that number...
Can anyone help me in this issue..

Firefox can't find the file at (a location is specified) when either "Navigate previous" (and next) buttons are pressed in an HTML5 skin (but OK in IE/Chrome).

I create HTML5 help projects from a package called MadCap Flare. It uses what they call an HTML5 'skin' that sets the style/layout of the page and also includes 'Navigate previous' and 'Navigate next' buttons. When viewing the help and pressing these navigate buttons in IE8 or Chrome 32 there is no problem, but in Firefox 27 I get the following: (typical error for pressing a button on any page)
"File not found"
"Firefox can't find the file at /C:/SVN/FlareEnglishOnLineHelp/Output/HTML5_Help_Modeller_Reference/4attrib/idh_jointinterface_element_meshes.htm?TocPath=Modeller Reference Manual|Chapter 5 : Model Attributes|Meshing|_____2."

I should correct that last entry and state that the | charactacters are generated automatically in the Toc-Path for each 'book' name in the online help, and are not something manually created, whereas the : characters have come from the TOC book topic names (which were manually entered names and are what we would ideally require). But, because 'previous' and 'next' topics within nested TOC books without colon (:) characters CAN be browsed successfully when just | characters are present in the Toc-Path, the limitation would appear to be solely due to the : characters.
