Bw statistic Queries

Hi gurus,
I runs BW Statistics queries, and in most cases I get a record which contain Not Assigned, i.e. under the query name field appear Not Assigned.
Is there anybody encounter this problem ?
What data it contains ?
Thankfully,

hi,
have you upload the master data for 0query (? check the exact infoobject name technical name in the bw statistic query, i have no access to system), 0infoobject etc.

  • ANN: SSAS Activity Monitor 1.0 released!

    Hi All.
I hope notifications about new tools is not against rules here and I'd like to
just notify that we released for testing new SSAS tool - SSAS Activity Monitor.
What are happen behind the scenes of SSAS servers and how to analyze if your BI applications efficient or not? With SSAS Activity Monitor, we tried to answer some of the questions in this area, connected to analysis of overall server performance, sessions
and connections statistics and resource usage in time.  To minimize impact of SSAS servers, we tried to get most of the information from minimal amount of server statistic queries and we bring it to you in convenient way - with rich UI.
    Features
    - Provides resource usage and activity information about the currently opened sessions and connections on the server. We do not try to present just plain table data. Instead, we try to present trends (increase/decrease), percentage values of CPU and per
second values which are not available in original server statistics.
    - Complete Locks information. Among table data, locks are displayed on Activity Graph.
    - Activity History. You run monitoring tool for a while and the tool decides which data points should be saved for future review. Based on CPU and other resources usage, SSAS Activity Monitor decides if current snapshot of server activity should be saved
or not. Developers and administrators can review such snapshots at any time later, via single mouse click on highlighted points (markers) in Activity History chart.
    - Activity Graph. Sessions and connections in convenient live graph.
    - Docked windows as the way to optimize analysis. Standard tabbed interface does not restrict you to show and analyze data from different servers side by side.
    -  Ability to kill sessions.
    And more - under development...
We would love to hear any feedback, comments, etc. Welcome!

  • How many workbooks have been visited by end user per day

    <i><b>  Hi SDN's,</b></i>
How many workbooks have been visited by end user per day.Is there any process to knew...
    <i><b>Thanks & Regardz,
    Aluri</b></i>

    Hi Aluri,
Statistics are usually not available on workbooks. You can find out how many time a user calls up a particular query (which can be accessed by various workbooks). Because workbooks themseleves do not call up data from the infoproviders.
You can tell how many times a user has accessed a query by looking at the Statistical queries and objects. Try the following two there is a list of other queries in help that you can go through also:

  • Need tables BI_TCT data

    Hi,
I am doing an analysis like how often the queries are called and their runtime  ( least and most) and number of calls made on infoprovider/query and so on
this analysis is extended to web templates and workbooks as well ( Basically technical content data )
i wonder whether these information is available in any tables??
if they are tables by which i cud make an analysis that would be of great help
    Raj

    Hi Raj,
As told by shalabh installed business contents for technical contents and use all TCT queries in BEx for such reporting.
In bex search for TCT u will get all the statistical queries and you can create dashboard on that.
In BI 7.0 this dashboard also comes with business contents.

  • Statistical cost element 90

    Hi,
Can any one please help me to understand the statistical cost element 90. I have created asset reconciliation account as statistical cost element. I come to know this will help to track the budgeting. But i don't have clear idea.
Can any one help me undertand what is the purpose and how it functions in tracking the budgetsin CO??
    Regards,
    Deva

    Hi Phaneendra,
Thank you for your reply. Still i having few more queries. I have created the Internal order as statistical order. Budgeting also done. While creating the PO i have given both AUC and Internal order as account ssignement reference. In this case the cost centre will get update throw cost center from Asset master. The Internal order gets statisticlly updated throw direct assignement in the PO.
In my understanding the budget will be updated throw inernal order assignemet in the PO. If that is the case what is the statistical cost element role here??
But in the case of project system we have created the real WBS element and not the statistical WBS. while creating the PO we are giving WBS element as the account assignment and its get updated in the budget. While settlement, value from WBS element will be settled to AUC and then from AUC to main asset.
Can you please help me to understand the statistical cost element functionality here??? If my above understanding is wrong please excuse me.
    Regards,
    Deva

  • Statistical WBS elements-Budgeting and Use

    Hi Guys,
Need some KT from you all regarding Statistical WBS Elements. My queries are
1.Can a statistical WBS element be budgeted? If yes how are the Budget  distributed to those below.
2..If a level 2 WBS is marked statistical and it has 3 WBS under it which are Acc asignment element then how is the budget distributed.
3.can you provide some good example of the use of Statistical WBS element?
    Thanks in Advance
    ssk

    Hi Shourya,
    1. As mentioned above Statistical WBS can be budgeted like any operative project and the budget can further be divided into lower level WBS elements and Availaility Control can be activated on these.
    2. Again as stated above the budget distribution is normal. For ex- If a level 2 WBS is statistical and level 2's underneath that are real WBS.
    3. We can use the Statistical WBS for capital projects. For ex- We can assign a Statistical WBS in Master record of AUC for Availability control of budget for Capital spending. And then when we create a PO with Account Assignment category A with same AUC, budget control (Availability control) is activated through the statistical WBS.
Someone might ask but why we want to use WBS for budget control why not I/O? It's because it provides more visibility over different departments (divided by structure). And via this process we can see all our PO's on AUC directly from Asset Explorer (AW01N).
    Hope it helps.
    Thanks,
    BS

  • Queries available in Production vs Query been used

    Dear All,
We had collected the statistical data from ST03N and found that only 523 queries are been used, and when we seen in Metadatarepository there are 2000 queries active in our system,
pls suggest what should we do wether we delete the queries which is not been used,by deleting or deactivating the queries will help in performance or database growth, pls suggest..
these all queries has been attached in EP as ivew where user is executing the report.
    Thanks,

    Jyoti,
The space occupied by the query is extremely small - the query is an SQL definition - - by deleting unused SQL queries or stored procedures in a database you do not get any space saving out of the same.
The question as to whether they should be deleted or made inactive?? is a decision best left to business - and also you will have to check if any views on the query exist which are beig used and also any workbooks that may use the same..

  • BW Statistics queries Can any one help me

    Dear Gurus,
I had Implemented BW statistics in my project.  Could u people send me any documents which contains some queries built on BW stats Info Cubes, and their uses(to analyze what they are used).  I am in urgent need of them So, Please help me out.  My mail ID is <b>[email protected]</b>
    Best Regards
    Mohan Kumar

    Hi ,
Name of the workbook will be - BW Statistic 2.0 . And when u have installed Technical Content in the system it is always better to move all queries which is delivered as part of Technical Content .
Then try to load some data to Statistics cubes in development and then execute the Workbook it will be give you idea of what does indivual Query does as workbook contains graphs showing Cube Usage, Aggregate Usage etc  . You can also go to each query change view and see how is it designed.
    Assign Points if it helps.....

  • BW Statistics Queries & Dashboards

    Hello All,
I have a required to build a BW Statistics Dashboard (cockpit).
I already activated the BW Statistics and daily deltas are loading to the cubes. Now i am in the process of creating BW Dashbords.
My question is what Reports/Queries/Charts are frequently used to in BW Stats Dashboards?? any performance indicators ??
any sample dashboards documents or specs for the same are welcome. [email protected]
    Thanks in advance
    POPS

In 7.0, there is a new BW Statistical Query and Dashboard which can be published on portal, but if you are not in 7.0, then you can use the existing BW Statistical query which was attached to the statistical cubes.  Then you just need to create dashboard.
    1. Most/least frequently executed query.
    2. Average time the most executed query takes.
    3. Load performance, how long does the normal daily (weekly, monthly) loads take.
    4. Master data load performance.
there are thousands of performance measures in the query and you can create dashboard on those metrics.
    thanks.

  • Statistic of the executions of the Query

    Hi people,
I have to find out how many time my query was executed.
I know there is a table: RSDDSTAT, but it shows me only one register and this query was already executed many times.
Obs.: This query is based on ODS.
Could you help me please and say why the RSDDSTAT doesn´t show me a quantity of registers we waited to find?
And if there is other better way to find that?
    Thank you a lot,
    Rosana.

    1.Goto ST03N
    2.Select user mode as "Expert"
3.From Functions list (upper left pane) select "BW System Load" and under month selection, select your time duration
4.From the analysis view (down left pane) from the "Reporting" expand "Query Runtimes" and double click "BEx Queries".
5.Output is shown in right pane.
    6.Select aggregation level as query.
7.Double click on the query name
8.A window popup with every run of the query.
9.To find out, how many times it has run, click on "Display Graphics" button. It will show with no of runs as X-axis
    OR
if you are working with BW 3.5 you can look in table RSDDSTAT in BI 7.0 it is RSDDSTAT_OLAP.
Make a selction on the infocube and the OLAP Statistic Object which is the query ID/tech name and execute. Then you should see how often the query was executed, by whom and which date/time.

  • BI statistic cube 0TCT_CA1

    Hi,
I am using query based on the BI statistic cube 0TCT_CA1 to get the workbook execution times and it is working fine.
    But I have two queries.
    1) some workbook stored in favourites. Is it possible to show them in separate category or have them displayed in a separate workbook?
    2) I do find the calendar year/month characteristic in this cube, but it seems this one is not populated in the cube. Insteadly in 0TCT_C01, the calendar year/month is populated correctly.
    Many Thanks
    Jonathan

    Hi,
In addtion, I found the NO. of execution of BI workbooks are different in cube 0TCT_CA1 and 0TCT_C01 in some cases?
    can anyone help?

    I have about 1000000 record.
I have some queries that use only this table,
if I look statisit per queries, it's so much value for
statistic: table fetch by rowid: ......
    1) Why? Can you explain it for me?
    2) How can I use this fact for otimize my selects and queries?
    thnaks so much.

    Example like this:
I use PL/SQL Developer, when I execute query in SQL window I open Statistics Tab and:
and almost all position have value 0,
but in case fetch by rowid: value 16354682934615
    What does it means.
In queries I use selects from
    O1 NUMBER not null,
    O2 NUMBER not null,
    O3 NUMBER not null,
    O4 NUMBER not null,
    O5 NUMBER not null,
    O6 NUMBER not null,
    O7 NUMBER not null fileds.
This filed contain information about realtime process,
    table with 1000000 records.

  • MDX queries : BW statistics are inconsistents

    Hello,
We are implementing BO on top of SAP BW 3.5.
We had some major performance issues , and now we're tryning to investigate in detail.
The queries were first launched on BO only, and afeterwards on SAP BW, using the transaction MDXTEST, we measured a similar amount of time.
Now now want to have a closer look at the distribution of the time spent. (DB%,Frontend%;Network%, etc...)
The problem is that when we have a look at transaction ST03 in BW analysis, the statistics of MDX
    queries are inconsistents :
    I've join a concrete example :
The left column is a BO statistic executed on SAP using MDXTEST,
The right column is a traditional BEX query.
When I do the addition of the different time %(percent total) the results is 100 % for the Bex query ...and 44% for the MDX query.
I know that many fixes for MDX have been delivered on BI.7, but what about 3.5, I searched the sap notes but I couldn't find any note descrybing this symptom, nor any fix for our BW release.
Do you know how I should interpret thoses results, in other worlds, where ar the missing percentages in MDX queries ?
thank you in advance for your help.
    Regards.
