C API library

hi:
In oracle8.1.7,I want to pragram a sample with LDAP C API to
access to LDAP server(functions as ldap_open,ldap_bind,ldap...)
but I cann't do it in visual c++6.0 because I don't find any C
API libraries from $oracle_home/lib. I try to use
oraldapclnt8.a,but I fail.
how can i do it?

i have added the header file and lib file as mentioned in devloper's guide
but i get linking errors like undefined refrence to ldap_bind_s wht could be the problem? also why we need to add the following files?

i was not able to find them also ,i am using Bloodshed to run the program on Windows xp

GSS API library required to set up a Secure Network Connection (SNC)

We are working in a project to connect Microsoft ILM to SAP CUA. The goal is to manage Identities in
SAP CUA by Microsoft ILM.
The requirement is to make use of an encrypted network connection between the two systems.
Due to our investigation it looks like that we need to use a SNC (Secure Network Connection).
To set up a SNC we need a third party GSS API library. Before we can order this GSS API library we need to
test this in a test environment.
Our question if there is a possibility that we can use a trial version of a GSS API library, to set up a test environment?
Is there another way to setup a SNC in a test environment?
We are looking for a GSS API Library?

...is what I get when trying to create an analytical workspace with Analytical Workspace Manager.
The actual error message is as follows:
oracle.express.idl.util.OlapiException: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-37118: The OLAP API library was not preloaded.

AWM version is 10.2.0.2.0A
DB version is 10g 10.2.0 - (installation type is CUSTOM-FULL)

Yes the JAR file Version should be compatible with the version of MDM Server.
Supposedly you have MDM Version of SP05 the Jar files should also be of SP05 version , if you use JAR files of older version it wouldnt contain new classes and methods of the newer APIs and would also contain some old classes which arent present in latest version.

we purchased pdflib, that is a product that acts as an api/library for generating and editing pdf files dynamically (written in c /java wrapper). it is possible to integrate this library into any j2ee application server. Now I want to do this , i want to deploy this library into my AS (9iAS release 1) over JDeveloper. I read that this is ´possible .. so how can this be done?

I have a similar question...
I have added a 3rd party .jar to my project and checked the jar into cvs.
To get the application to recognize classes in the .jar I've modified my project settings and added the jar as a project library like you mentionned.
My question is: when my colleagues check out the project from cvs, will they have to modify their project settings to add the .jar as a project library?
Or is there some file which lists all the supported libaries which i can modify and check into cvs so my coworkers can simply update from cvs without having to modify their individual project settings?

$ORACLE_HOME/ldap/public/ldap.h and
$ORACLE_HOME/lib/libldapclnt8.a. But unfortunately I can't find
libldapclnt8.a in the directory. I try all lib files,but I still
fail. Afterwards I try to use plsql API again,but 'ldap_session'
and other 'ldap_...' data types in pl/sql are unknown.
I ask whether I don't install some modules of ldap's SDK and
what I can do.

Insert Value(s) in Lookup Flat Multi-valued Table with Java API

I've been looking in MDM Java API Library Reference Guide, MDM SP4 API JavaDoc, and SDN Forums for information on how to Insert/Update different values in a field in the Main Table of a given repository that belongs to a Lookup Flat Multi-valued Table using the Java API with no success.
I also haven't been successful in adding this values in the same way that I'll add a single value, using the MDM Java API, in a single-value Lookup Table (a2iFields.Add(new A2iField(FIELD_CODE,FIELD_VALUE)) for each value I want to add, like for example:
a2iFields.Add(new A2iField("Country","USA")
a2iFields.Add(new A2iField("Country","Mexico")
a2iFields.Add(new A2iField("Country","Germany")
Can anybody point me to the correct documentation that I need to read to fulfill this task? Or, even better, if someone can post a piece of code, I'll be more thankful.

Reference.txt & library.txt file question for SP6 SP2

I need to be able to reference a portal component api library from a J2EE application outside of the IRJ application. This is normally done through the above files, however, the syntax in the files looks like the libraries have to be in the additional-lib folder, which doesn't seem very flexible. Basically I am trying to access a portal service through JNDI from a J2EE application on the same J2EE server (SP2). I can access it through JNDI, however, the problem I have is that because I need to cast the object to an IMyService class I get a ClassNotFoundException. This is because the class is part of the API jar file of the component, which the J2EE application cannot find. I don't want to have to copy the file to the additional-lib folder for this file to be accessible, so does anyone know how to create a reference to this api.jar file ?

Creating Modules using Open API

I am trying to create Form module using Open API.
What I would like to know is :-
1. How to link the source file (c++) against the Open
API library (f60d2f32.lib).
The c++ source file, Does it have to be .c extension ?
2. Compile the files to create an executable.

This really needs to go to one of the Developer (FOrms/Reports) forums, but any interface to Forms/Reports/Etc. will need to be compiled and linked as 'C', not 'C++'.

JES5 on HPUX C API Message Queue problem

OK. I know there's not too many of you out there, but I've been trying to compile a simple "C" helloworld pub/sub application using GCC. The examples shows using 'aCC' instead of 'gcc' to compile on HPUX. I'm able to compile using gcc, but the application core dumps.
Is the Message Queue, C-API & library compatable with applications compiled with gcc on the HPUX platform? Or will i have to use HP's Ascii C Compiler to get it to work.
gcc build options:
g++ -x c -fPIC -DHPUX11 -D_REENTRANT -I/opt/sun/mq/include -o Producer -L/opt/sun/mq/lib -L/opt/sun/private/lib -lnss3 -lmqcrt -Wl,+b,/opt/sun/private/lib Producer.c

After switching to HP's ANSI C compiler i get the exact same error message.
Any ideas as to what the permissions should be on the symbolic link to the real shared library. The installed permisstion/owners are:
lrwxr-xr-x 1 bin bin 29 Sep 12 00:45 libmqcrt.sl -> /opt/sun/mq/lib/libmqcrt.sl.1

Partner automation. The user wants to use an asp.net form instead of using biztalk admin console, in order to create and update a large party database, the total count rounding between 300 to 500 partners, so, we have already a webform with all business
related information and we've add some port related information that will ultimately end up as the party information. With that info, this library should be able to accomplish everything we normally do from the console.
We are not migrating from a previous version, so the party migration tools is a no-go. We explored the idea of creating a binding-like file that would be loaded from BtsTask, but ultimately, we end up with the idea of using this obscure library to perform
all those so called duties of handling party related information on biztalk server.
