Cakewalk Rapture failing AU manager scan?

Is anyone out there successfully using Cakewalk Rapture plug-in with Logic Pro 8? I've gone through Cakewalk support - they were not successful fixing the problem. Rapture has been patched to 1.1.1 and consistently fails the Audio Units scan. Here is the actual text from the scan:

*Can anyone help me figure this out???*

You say it's patched to 1.1.1 - the plugin thinks differently:
Component Version: 1.0.0
Check you haven't got 1.0.0 in one component directory, and 1.1.1 in the other, and Logic is only seeing the 1.0.0 one.
Otherwise, trash your AU caches:

  • Project manager scan fails

After moving to a Mac Pro and copying all song file into a new HD, I did a full scan using Project Manager. To my surprise some of the song (.lso) files were not recognixed by the PM. So... I re-scanned again, and again... tried even after deleting the PM data files... No luck Even after creating a new song and saving it as a project it doesn't appear on the Project Manager data!)
My question is, Why could cause some .lso song files not being recognized by the PM ???

    Hi rafa,
to me, it seems like an OSX 10.4.8 problem.
My Logic system got really slow and would not recognize previously scanned items any longer.
Confident in the potential of Project Manager, I rescanned everything. Now things are back on track - and SPEED!
The Project Manager IS a powerful tool..
You might have to use Onyx, or some other trusted Utility Tool to clean up your hard drive.
Guru Justin hade some exquisite suggestions on these kind of problems about 10 days ago in this forum. Rebuilding your preferences (which probably were imported) will do most of the job. They DO get "stale" over time. Having them copied to a MacPro will very likely induce the same problems.
    Holla back with your results!

  • SA540 FAILS PCIDSS security scan

    Hi
We have recently installed an SA540 to replace an aging PIX firewall. The new firewall has failed a routine security scan for5 PCIDSS compliance. The problem appears to realate to the HTTPS service on the firewall which we need for SSL VPNs and remote management.
    The reasons provided are:-
    1. The remote service accepts connections encrypted using SSL 2.0, which reportedly suffers from several cryptographic flaws and has been deprecated for several years .
    2. The remote service supports the use of weak SSL ciphers
    3. The remote service supports the use of medium strength SSL ciphers
    4. The remote service supports the use of anonymous SSL ciphers – presumably this can be fixed by purchasing an SSL certificate
Can you disable SSL2.0 and the weaker ciphers?

    Hi Keith,
Can you please let us know what firmware version on SA500 you are using?
    Thanks,
    Nitin

  • Failing PCI Compliance Scan - SSL Weak...

    Hello,
I currently use the WRVS4400n v2 (latest update) for my small business. I store and transmit data that contains credit card information and need to be PCI compliant. Regardless of which settings I change on the router, like turning off remote management, I keep failing the scan. ControlScan uses Nessus and the results are below (2 vulnerabilities).
I did some research and spent some time with Cisco Sales Chat and they recommended a ASA5500 only to realize that it too had the same vulnerabilities. I did more research and it seemed that the SA520w (I need wireless) would do it but I found a thread on this forum saying that a client who had the SA520w did not pass the scan failed due to SSL vulerability (need v3+ ?). The thread is at https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread./2060512
Question: What router/appliance should I use to be PCI compliant? Three has to be something, we're talking, this is Cisco.
Thank you in advance for your help,
    Christophe

    Chris,
As i understand right now none of the Small Business router are PCI compliance ever since PCI 3.0 was released. How you overcome this; you'll need to forward any ports you are failing on to a ghost IP.. Ghost ip (any ip address that isn 't being used) If you are using those ports , then you will lose that service as the router isn't PCI 3.0 compliant.
    Jason
I do believe the ASA5505 are PCI 3.0 Compliant.

  • Domain Created: Failed Restarting Managed Servers in a cluster

    Hi,
I tried creating a new domain from my local pc - by using the configuration wizard provided by weblogic.. the configuration used is like this -
    Admin Server - adminServer - 1.1.1.19 - on port 7001
    Managed servers - machines:ip's - port
    1. mgndServer1 - 1.1.1.19 - 7011
    2. mgndServer2 - 1.1.1.20 - 7011
    mgndCluster defined as - mgndServer1:7011, mgndServer2:7011
    node manager ; - 1.1.1.19 - 5555
In the last step i didnt check ( select box ) the WLI Start up , WLI Shutdown classes for the managed cluster , but Set the WLI Start up , shut down classes for admin server.
Started the admin server and from the admin console, state of the node manager was running , I tried starting the managed servers, but it failed with the below error - and managed servers never come into running state..

    Hi Revanth,
The issue seems to be with the JMX URL value defined in the 'server URL' property.
Apparently I ran into the same issue as I was unable to access the Admin Server URL from the SMA.
Changing the Host and Port value properly resolved the issue for me.

  • Adobe Premeire Pro Installation Failed - Application Manager Corrupted.  Please help!

    Hello all,
I just recently purchased a subscription license for Adobe Premeire Pro CS6, and tried to download it following the instructions in the confirmation e-mail.   After installing the application manager and downloading, extracting, and installing the program, I received the error message seen in the image below, "Installation Failed - Adobe Application Manager is corrupted and must be reinstalled".
So of course I googled it, and found that this was a pretty common problem, and found one site that recommended re-installing the AAM with the following link:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/download-error-403-launching-aam.html
So I did that too.  In addition to restarting my computer, and also tried to download the program directly bypassing the AAM following the instructions on this page:
    http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html
All of which was unsuccesful.   I've got a video for my Mom's 60th birthday that I HAVE to complete this weekend, and Adobe's support is closed on the weekends.  I didn't think installing something from a company like Adobe would be this difficult.  Makes me wish I had a Mac.    Can anyone PLEASE help me get Premeire (and Encore) downloaded and installed?
Any help would be hugely appreciated.   Thanks,
    Erik
(Some basic tech info:  Windows 7 Home Premium x64, Mozilla Firefox, and a beast of a gaming rig that should be able to handle a simple Adobe installation)

    Hi Jeff,
I am experiencing the same exact problem and am unable to resolve it.  I've called Tier 1 support (Indian Call Center), and went through all the steps that I have already done myself (as outlined above) with no luck.  I'm still getting the corruption error.
I am using Parallels Workstation Extreme and it is being installed on a Virtual Machine.  The "Extreme" part of Parallels Workstation allows me to assign a discrete graphics card to the VM.  This is uing Intel's vt-d technology for Directed IO.  You mentioned above that you had fired up an instance of Windows 7 64-bit and it worked just fine.  But for some reason, I am unable to duplicate the same success.  The case is now being escalated to "higher" support.  Here is my setup:
    - Parallels Workstation Extreme VM - Windows 7 64-bit
    - Subscription to Creative Cloud
    - Clean Install does not work
    - Not a part of any domain, just workgroup
    - Home PC, so it connects directly to a router and then to Cox (ISP)
    - Has direct assignment of a Network card, meaning the network card is not a bridged connection (the VM gets it's own NIC)
    - User account is already Administrator, but tried to "Run as administratot" with no luck.
    - After install on the clean Windows didn't work, tried using the Adobe Cleanup Tool - doesn't work either
    - Disabled all start up programs from msconfig - doesn't work
    - Verified that the (.exe) does work, but coping the same (.exe) to another computer and it works.
I would really appreciate any advice that you may have!
    Thanks Jeff!

  • Photoshop fail to open - Scanning for plugins

I have been using Photoshop CS3
for a couple of years with no problem. Did not make any hardware/software changes.
Now when attempting to open, it starts to open and stops at "scanning for Plugins".
I have reset the "prefs.psp file and deleted the plugincache.psp file, rebooted and it
continues to stop at "scanning for plugins" . Thanks for your help.

    Hi,
    Problem solved.
I have another version of Photoshop CS3 running on another computer (#1).
    1. Copied entire plugins folder from this computer (#1) to flash drive
    2. Delete entire plugins folder from computer (#2) with scanning for plugins problem.
    3. Paste entire plugins folder from flash drive to computer (#2)
    4. Reboot computer (#2), open Photoshop, no problems.
    Thanks to all

  • Overview scan failed to complete on HP 8610

I am using MAC OS-X Yosemite 10.10.2. Printer works great. Scanning is sporatic. Works one minute and not the next.  Software is updated for both operting system and printer. A message appears "Overview scan failed to complete". The printer is set to scan to computer.  It was working fine this morning and now I can't get it to scan. I have unplugged  and restarted the computer and printer numerous times. What is the issue?  Using Officejet Pro 8610 All in One. There is no issue with the internet.

    Hello @CIngram!
Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!
I should be able to provide some suggestions that may help resolve the scanning issue!  Is the printer connected Wi-Fi?  I can see you have power cycled the printer and computer but if the printer is connected Wi-Fi its signal travels through the router.  I recommend power cycling the router too.
You should also ensure scan to computer is still enabled on the Mac.  You can check this in the HP Utility.  To locate the HP Utility click on the Spotlight (Magnifying glass) in the top right corner of the Mac.  Type HP Utility and it should show up as one if the first options.  Within HP Utility should be an option "Manage scan to computer".  Select that and ensure it is enabled.
If you are still getting the issue then I suggest uninstalling the HP Software. After the software is uninstalled I recommend performing a "repair disk permissions" on your Mac. A repair disk permissions is a utility built in the Mac operating system designed to locate and resolve issues or errors. After the repair disk permission is complete restart your Mac computer and re-install the software.
To uninstall the HP Software click here: Uninstalling HP Software
To perform a repair disk permission click here: Repair Disk Permissions
To Download the HP software click here: HP Officejet 8610 Software and Driver
Once the install is complete I recommend checking for software updates on the Mac. To check for software updates click the "apple" icon at the to left and click on "app store". In the app store you can click the "updates" icon at the top of the window. Install and Hp or printer updates. After any updates you should restart the computer.
If you are still getting the issue then you can use Image Capture and initiate the scan from the Mac.  Image Capture is an application in the mac that allows you to scan.  To get Image Capture click on the Spotlight (Magnifying glass) in the top right corner of the Mac.  Type Image Capture and it should show up as one if the first options. Select it and in the window select your printer on the left side.  It may be located under shared.  Once your printer is selected you should get scan options on the right side.  I recommend using Image Capture because you get a lot more settings and options for scanning.
Thanks again for posting on the HP Forums and let me know how it goes!

This however does not occur when I deploy the EAR from the Weblogic Server Administration Console.
    Any ideas?

Maybe Eclipse is building/packaging application.xml with the wrong header.
As soon as I build the EAR project, the changes I made are lost.
That is why the Stacktrace seems to be the same as earlier.

  • My PC fails security scan when downloading Adobe reader

My PC fails security scan when installing Adobe Reader

I have Windows 7. When I try to download anything like a PDF, Adobe reader or any external file, the process includes a security scan. It could be before the download or after it is complete, but at a point before download or before it can be opened, the the message says that it failed or failed the security scan.
I tried to troubleshoot Windows 7 and get as error message: 0x800B010E. It could it be related to the software download problem where I get message other than security failure or it won't load.
    I have Windows 7 Enterprise, Version 6.1( Build 7601: Service Pack 1)

  • Rv082 fails PCI compliance test scan

The rv082 v2 with firmware 2.0.2.01-tm fails PCI compliancy scans for the following vulnerability:
    tcp (tcp/1)
TCP reset using approximate sequence number
    CVE-2004-0230
Is there any fix for this?  Configuration change?  Future firmware fix?
    Thanks,
    dr

Is the self-signed certificate the only certificate on the server? If so, get yourself a certificate from a reliable 3rd-party certificate authority. DigiCert's a good source, and a lot less expensive than others (like VeriSign).
You're always going to have the self-signed cert on the server, but the only place it will be used is for intra-organizational SMTP sessions.
