hi all,
i am using form6i, i want to use calender class, on my form, so user can select the desired date from calneder instead of entering date, can someone tell me how to , i will be really thankful.

Calendar object in Forms 9i

A number of difficulties using Calendars in forms 9i.
1). I can't drag/drop from the Standards object library to the forms module. The cursor remains as a cirlce with a diagonal through it.
2). Can't find Calendar.PLL ; has this been renamed in release 9i ? All I can find is OFGCALL.PLL .

I use OFGCALL.PLL in Forms6i. It comes with Oracle Designer. In a Key-Listval trigger of item just put:

display_calendar;
END;
Also you have to put to your form:
canvases - CALENDAR, CALENDAR_TIME
window - CALENDAR
visual attributes - CALENDAR_SELECTED,
CALENDAR_SELECTED_TODAY,CALENDAR_CURR,CALENDAR_CURR_TODAY
CALENDAR_OTHER,CALENDAR_OTHER_TODAY,CALENDAR_CURR_DISABLED,
CALENDAR_CURR_DISABLED_TODAY,CALENDAR_OTHER_DISABLED,
CALENDAR_OTHER_DISABLED_TODAY
procedure - DISPLAY_CALENDAR
and attach OFGCALL.PLL library.

How to set Calendar size in forms 6i

Hello all,
I'm using forms6i. I want to create a calendar control which should display when a button is pressed. i tried using standard.olb and calendar.pll files. But the size of the calendar is too small in the output.

pls try to set the canvas's & Windows's width & height from it's property...

Anomaly in Forms6.0 (Especially for Date Field)

Dear all OTN Members,
I Don't have any idea of this "anomaly" happened in my Dev2K. My problem is When I run my form with f60run.exe, everything run as normal as it is. But sometimes, when I get my cursor focused in one field, which have Date datatype, and I try to insert the date (sample : '02-04-2000'), It goes mad. I mean that everytime I try to type the year, it always become '02-04-0002' and the cursor will highlight the field. For additional information, I didn't put any trigger in that field. I think I need some suggestion here, I don't know if it is some kind of bugs or just my Dev2K need to be reinstalled. I have try to run my forms in another PCs, but the anomaly still show up sometimes. I really need help on this. Thanks for your suggestions.

I just want to confirm whether u are using any calendar to select your date value.I do face problem while selecting a date value from a calendar.The problem is a replica as in your case.Without that looks like forms6i is doin fine for date columns.I shall get back to u in case i find any solutions to ur problems.

Calendar control 10.0

I've inserted an ole object into a form with a calendar control 10.0 inside of it and i want to know how to assign a value of the calendar to field of the form.I´ve already imported the ole libraries.The name I've gave to calendar is 'calendario' and the field's name is 'data_exame'.

The PJC only works in Web deployment (another benefit of Web deployment - new graphical components).
There use to be a calendar.pll that worked in client server. I don't remember where it is but it is worth to try and download the Forms6i standard demos and see if it is there.

Mystery message in Calendar

I've implemented the plsql version of the calendar that came with the form demos(9i) and things work just fine. However, whenever the Calendar is invoked, a message is displayed on the message line - 'Got to here'. I've scanned all the plsql code, triggers, libraries etc and checked all item/block/window properties including all Hints and cannot find this message anywhere.
That text has got to be coming from somewhere, but I haven't a clue where it is and how it gets displayed. Any ideas as it is pretty annoying.

How can I see Calendar event END times at a glance?

How can I display my Calendar event titles exactly as I type them? I do not want Calendar to remove duration from the titles of my events. Otherwise I can't see event END times at a glance in month view; only start times. How can I "trick" Calendar to just show my titles as I type them - as I always could before I upgraded. I used to be able to enter "Seminar 9am-5:45" and it would appear that way regardless of how or what I chose to enter (or not enter) for duration.
I am running OSX 10.9.3.

It's a bit weird, but if you type in the time info TWICE into the event title then Calendar uses/deletes one of them to populate the event details and leaves the other.

Looking for Daily Calendar At-a-Glance App

I'd love to find an app that will post an alert to my iPhone each morning listing out my day's calendar events. Anyone know of one? For what it's worth, I have 4 active calendars in Calendar app.

I don't know of any apps like the one you want; however, there is probably something out there that will do the job. I did want to suggest Google Calendar, which will send you email and SMS reminders about events and things you have put on your calendar. You might already be aware of this, so if you are, just disregard. I just wanted to suggest it in case you weren't aware of it. I use it all the time, and it's very handy.

Can I show a color bar instead of a color bullet in iCal Monthly view for all my events in all calendars?

In the Monthly view of iCal the only events that show a color bar in the event is the Birthday Calendar. All other events in all my other calendars only show a color bullet next to the event (unless I click on that event which then shows as a color bar). I would like to know if it is possible for all the calendar events to have a color bar in the monthly view instead of just that tiny color bullet.

Before making any attempts at deleting calendar data, backup what you have just in case:
Click on each calendar on the left hand side of iCal one at a time highlighting it's name and then going to File Export > Export and saving the resulting calendar file to a logical location for safekeeping.
iCal has an automated function located in iCal > Preferences > Advanced > Delete events "X" days after they have passed. By typing in a value for days you can tell iCal to delete all events before that time frame.
Example:
Today is 4-16-2012.
If I wanted to delete all events prior to 1 year ago (4-16-2011) I would type in "365" for the number of days.
Once you type in the number of days you want kept in iCal, close the preferences and then quit iCal.
Re-open iCal and check to see if the events are gone. If not you may want to leave it open for several minutes and then quit again.
Once the events are removed go back to iCal > Preferences > Advanced > Delete events "X" days after they have passed and make sure the check mark is removed to prevent future deletion.

I create a birthday calendar in iCal and then click on it in iphoto at the begining of the calendar project each year. Some how the birthday did not populate the photo calendar. Is there a way to add the birthday iCal calendar into the calendar project?

If you first select the calendar on the left, so that its background is highlighted blue/grey, when you make a new events they should be added to that calendar.

Cannot send email from iPhone5--calendar syncing issues also

I have an iPhone 5 and am not currently using iCloud. I have 3 email accounts.
The first is a yahoo email account--and it both receives & sends emails just fine.
I use Outlook for the other two email accounts (one is an IMAP and the other is a POP). Both receive email, but I cannot send out emails from my iPhone. When I try to send an email from either account, I get this message:
"A copy has been placed in your Outbox. The sender address "[address I used]" was rejected by the server.
Also, I don't know if it is related, but my iPhone calendar isn't syncing with Outlook. I add an appointment on my iPhone or in Outlook, and it won't appear in the other location (Outlook/iPhone).

Get all calendars from root

Hi guys,
I am developing an integration with EWS based on php. I am using a library I found https://github.com/jamesiarmes/php-ews
In my case users have various calendars hanging from the root, I get access to the default calendar by this:
$request->ParentFolderIds->DistinguishedFolderId->Id = EWSType_DistinguishedFolderIdNameType::CALENDAR;
$response = $ews->FindFolder($request);
I also get access to shared calendars by this:
$request->ParentFolderIds->DistinguishedFolderId->Id = EWSType_DistinguishedFolderIdNameType::PUBLIC_FOLDERS_ROOT;
$response = $ews->FindFolder($request);
But I am getting crazy to get all calendars hanging from the root. If I asked for all folders on the root I don't get those calendars. What service and params do I need to send to get all calendars from the root?

If you make a FindFolder Request set the Traversal to Deep and use a restriction on the FolderClass to IPF.Appointment that should return all the Calendar folders in a mailbox eg

Need help for trying to unfreeze a message on my ical. I was trying to copy and paste some appointment info from one day to another on my ical and a message popped up saying the system responded with an error. All of my info was below the message. I can't get that message to go away or work on the ical now at all. I try to force quit ical and have shut down the computer and it still comes up. Any suggestions?

Try removing the com.apple.iCal.plist file from your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder. To find that Library folder, if you are using Lion, use Finder>Go Menu>Depress the "Option" key>Library. Drag the .plist file to your desktop, and log out/in or restart.
Next, make sure that you are not connected to the internet. Then to to your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Calendars Folder and remove any files with "Cache" as a part of the file name. Use the same method as listed above to get to the correct Library Folder. Log out/in, or restart and check iCal for functionality.
