how can i do it ?

Hi Bob
You can call a stored proc from a database control with the jc:sql annotation itself.
Assume a stored proc taking one In parameter
* @jc:sql statement="call sp_updateData({id})"
void call_sp_updateCust(int id);
You can even call stored proc with OUT parameters using
* @jc:sql statement="{call sp_MyProc(?, ?)}"
void call_sp_MyProc(SQLParameter[] params)
You can also call stored functions via db control.

We are using solution manager 4 with SP13.When i try to create a Ibase through Initiate Data transfer for ibase,i gives the following error.

Diagnosis
No import data was entered for one of the function modules (APIs) for Installed Base Management. Therefore, the function cannot be executed.
System Response
The system terminates processing.
Procedure
If the APIs are called in customer-specific programs, check the call for the APIs and change the call accordingly.

Had the same error and solved it by doing the following;
Go to t/code DNO_CUST01 and double click on SFL1 and make sure "number range" is 01 and "action profile" is SLFN0001_STANDARD_DNO.
Your number range interval in t/code CRMC_NR_RA_SERVICE should be consistant with NR details in t/code DNO_NOTIF (check note: 498984 to set it up)

This is too late to reply this post, but to let everyone know about the issue I am posting here.
Start new UI session and put breakpoint at BUPR_EMPLO_DELETE and check parameter IV_X_SAVE everytime, till you get the error message. The parameter IV_X_SAVE should be same/consistent (either ' ' or 'X') in whole Logical Unit of Work. It should not change in between.
I faced the same kind of problem and found that standard was passing IV_X_SAVE = ' ' and in our custom code we were passing IV_X_SAVE = 'X'. I changed it to IV_X_SAVE = ' ' and my problem got resolved.
You can try the same. Please post the alternate solution if you find it.

Containers are objects in SQL Server Integration Services that provide structure to packages and services to tasks. They support repeating control flows in packages, and they group tasks and containers into meaningful units of work. Containers can include
other containers in addition to tasks.
Packages use containers for the following purposes:
• Repeat tasks for each element in a collection, such as files in a folder, schemas, or SQL Server Management Objects (SMO) objects.
• Repeat tasks until a specified expression evaluates to false.
• Group tasks and containers that must succeed or fail as a unit.
The Data Flow task encapsulates the data flow engine that moves data between sources and destinations, and lets the user transform, clean, and modify data as it is moved. Addition of a Data Flow task to a package control flow makes it possible for the package
to extract, transform, and load data. We can add Data Flow task to Containers, but Containers can’t be included in Data Flow tasks.

Hi u can do that in Menu painter..(Tcode SE41).
While creating the GUI status of a screen..
U will go to SE41 that is Menu paniter screen.
Here while creating the status for a list or screen of a particular program.. u will create the Push buttons in Application toolbar !! right!! GIve the function code in one of the input enabled box and double click on that..
then u will get a popup window where u can give the function text and icon name and info text !! IN the function text give the transaction code here in capital letters... and select an icon.. press enter .. then it will take u to the Function attributes window ... here for the function type field give the input as 'T'. 
and press enter .. save and activate it..

Many of the customers are located in hungary and they have created the userid using their keyboard. Hence for now I already have a userid with that hungarian characters, in the SAP system.
Only I would request for the help on how to interface these characters in SAP Business connector to call RFC.

Calling a c++ dll that contains a dialog.

Hi,
I have a c++ dll that contains a dialog. When I try to display the dialog (ShowDialog(SW_SHOW);) the dialog is popped up but the dialog window is frozen and do not display its controls. The Java application is call an intermediate dll create by JNI that is calling the c++ dll.
Any Suggestions?

It should be discernable (by looking at the C# code) whether the C DLL needs to be registered.
If the DLL is serving COM objects it may need to be registered at a command-prompt with
regsvr32 <your_DLL_File_path>
If it's supplying .NET assemblies, I think it needs to be registered with
regasm <your_DLL_File_path>
Although I've written a few C DLLs, none were called from a C# DLL and I can't advise what subtle things to watch-out for in this scenario.
Do you have a way to validate/exercise the C DLL's functionality? Is it possible to through-together a C# application (not a C# DLL) that successfully uses the C DLL?

Call bean from POJO inside container

Hi,
maybe it's just a simple question...
I have a POJO class that is deployed to the container with some EJBs. From
this POJO I want to call a method from a bean that has no remote interface.
How can this be done? From what I have found so far only the remote
interfaces can be found in JNDI.

No, it doesn't impact how other ejb components access B. The main issue is that for EJBs, each ejb component has its own private component environment (java:comp/env). You just need to make sure you define the appropriate ejb/resource dependencies so that any code running within a particular ejb component's invocation can access what it needs. E.g., if a util class ABUtil could be invoked from either A or B, you would need to define whatever dependency ABUtil looks up within A's component environment and B's component environment.
Scoping the environment at the ejb component level has its pros and cons. The plus side is it provides a nice amount of independence between components so that when you're adding different ejbs to an an ejb-jar you don't have to worry about java:comp/env clashes between them. The down side is that it is often the case that multiple components in the ejb-jar want to access the same set of dependencies so it's cumbersome/error-prone to have to duplicate those dependencies.

Now I am searching for a way how to just call the already existing pfunctions???

This may be due to the Network Failures.
If you have triggered a job then because of the Network fluctuations the system may not respond properly and cannot execute the job.

bean after updating a number of ejb's. The stored procedure works fine if it performs
a simple delete. However, the stored procedure is in turn calling another stored
procedure that may reside in a different db. In such a case the update to the
ejb's in not reflected at all. Is this possible to do this within one tx? BTW
there is a reason I'm not calling the remote SP directly.

I am not sure if I fully understand your question, but here is a list of points which you
should check:
- transaction boundaries
- transaction isolation level
- XA datasources and drivers
- are the changes from the SP commited properly to the database ?
- also note that WLS5.1 (if you are using it ?) supports 2 phase commit only with a
single datasource

You need to open all the cursors in the PLSQL ie., cursors should be initialized in your PLSQL package. JCA DB Adapter tries to open the cursor without checking whether its there or not..If you cant change the PLSQL package, raise a SR with Oracle for a patch.This would be considered as Enhancement Request.
