Call function in external .js from stage.onCompletion

I have my edge composition, and some functions in sim.js
within the stage.onCompletion event, I have:
$("<script type='text/javascript' src='sim.js'></script>").appendTo("#Stage");
how can I call functions, e.g. "testMe()" that are in sim.js from within the stage.onCompletion event?
$("testMe()"); was my first thought, but no. what am I missing?

Lloydie maybe you can help me with this similar problem here (i think it is similar)
I am uncertain that i can use "transform" in edge, transform belongs to jquery.transform.js library. I am particulalry interested in animate({transform:.... to animate rotation and scales.
Can I call the transform.js into the stage like the way you called your custom .js?
Can we import additional libraries ?

this is very helpfull document for me. However I need some other explanation.
Does it meen that I need to write "Helper java class" ( e.g. in text editor - Notepad) and deploy the source to to Entegration Engine directory or an Adapter Directory ( maybe using Visual Administrator).
It is not clear for me.
I have XI 3.0 running on Windows 2003 Professional so to copy some files to some folders should not be a problem but I need an exact guide what I have to do.

structure doesnot hold any data. instead of it you can check the stucture in which table it is used, find the table name,use select query to extract the data u needed.
you can use where used list option to find the structure in which table it is used.

Calling functions in a package from jdbc

I am trying to call a function in a PL/SQL package from a java program using JDBC. Is this a valid option? The statement I am using is the following:

I am receiving the following error message:
Errorjava.sql.SQLException: ORA-06576: not a function or procedure
I have verified that the function/package is defined and that I have the correct output parameter registered.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use Event dispatching to get things done.
"root" (i just threw up by just typing that word) should be avoided at all cost, especially in AS3.

How to call C function in .m file from another function in a .mm file

I am making an interface class between a C library and an objetive C application.
I have not problem calling function the C library from .mm funstions,
but I am having problems calling .m functions from the .mm class.
here is an example of what I mean.

Basically I can call objective C class methods from .mm files,
but I can not call functions who are not members of a class from .mm funtions.
Does any one knows how I can solve this?
I have two books on objective C and neither show how to do that.

Well, you've got me on this one. You are correct. Apparently you don't need to specify the parameter names. Still, I strongly encourage you to use parameter names. Even though they apparently aren't required, I've never seen them not used. I would have expected to see:
[ent GetBBoxMin: & minBox max: & maxBox]
The problem is calling C function that are declared in .m files.
if you read the errors, they are linking errors not compiler errors.
this is a C function that is declared in a .m file
struct dVector size = SubVector(&maxBox, &minBox);
beside I also use those functions in many other place as well in teh project and they work.
If it helps I can post a link to the a download place to the xcode project maybe it is eassy to see what I am trying to do.
That would probably be a good idea.
Normally, all you need is
extern "C"
but there is so much missing from what you've posted that I can't tell for sure what is going on.

Screen shots are "old" but the concepts are already there. Serach the chapter "SAP Side - Setup".
Basically: define your RFC destination via SM59 of type G. There you'll define the target host and the user/password.
Then in LPCONFIG you can specify the defined RFC destination.

1- i have class and i called its before and its running on runtime. i need to call function inside this class from another class, but without call the first one again, because if i called it, it will run default class function again
is this doable ?

Normally DML is only done from stored procedures, not stored functions, you may want to consider changing the function to a procedure.
To call a function that does DML, you must call the function through a PLSQL call. If you did not require the return value, the code would be:

To get a JDBC connection from a TopLink session uses,

I suspect your problem is that the child window hasn't been created by the time you call the function in the parent.Loading the content is an asynchronous processes -- AIR doesn't stop executing your code until the window has finished loading child.html. So, you will need to add an eventlistener to html2 and call the function from there:

Mike,
You should honestly search the SDN site for consuming web services with ABAP. There are some good examples.
However the general procedure is easy:
1. Generate an ABAP proxy using the WSDL provided to you by the external program
2. Configure an HTTP destination for the server of the web services (needed for HTTPS calls)
3. Configure the logical port for the web service using lpconfig
4. Write the abap code to call the webservice via the proxy. Works very similar to FM call in my opinion.
To expose a webservice(bapi being called from outside) you need to do a little more work
1. Create a web services for the RFC enabled function module via SE80
2. Use wsadmin and wsconfig to make the service available
3. Publish the service out to the UDDI as needed.
Once again this code is pretty well documented in the standard help and SDN. Do a simple search on ABAP proxies and you will find what you need.
